Reiki Events.
Near You.

Use the location filter or search "Reiki near me." Browse upcoming events, filter by date and distance, and save favorites to your profile. For best results, create a free account and set your home location plus willingness-to-travel radius — BrightStar will then surface Reiki events that match. Turn on notifications to get alerts when new Reiki offerings appear in your area or when teachers you follow announce events near you.

Reiki offers practices for every experience level, and many teachers specialize in working with beginners. Look for events tagged "Intro," "Beginner," "All Levels," or "Foundations" — these classes move at a slower pace, explain everything thoroughly, and offer modifications. Even in mixed-level classes, good teachers provide options for different abilities. Don't let inexperience hold you back — every practitioner started somewhere, and the Reiki community is generally welcoming and supportive of new practitioners.

Classes are typically 60–90 minutes and meet weekly or daily — best for ongoing practice. Workshops run 2–4 hours and focus on a specific topic or technique — best for skill-building or deepening understanding of one area. Retreats span a full weekend to multiple weeks and combine intensive practice with community, often at a dedicated venue away from daily life. Retreats produce the deepest shifts but require the largest time and financial commitment. Most practitioners weave all three into their year — daily classes for maintenance, occasional workshops for growth, retreats for transformation.

Pricing varies widely depending on format and venue. Drop-in classes typically run $15–$30. Workshops range $50–$200 depending on duration and teacher. Multi-day retreats run from $300 for budget options up to several thousand for luxury destination programs. Many Reiki teachers offer sliding scale pricing, donation-based options, work-trade opportunities, or scholarships — look for these tags in event listings. BrightStar displays transparent pricing on every event page so there are no surprises at checkout.

Yes. Many Reiki teachers offer livestreamed and on-demand sessions in addition to in-person events. Filter the discovery feed by "Online" to see virtual offerings — daily livestreamed classes, recorded courses, virtual workshops, and online retreats. Online events typically cost less than in-person equivalents and remove travel barriers. You'll receive a private Zoom link or platform URL after purchase, plus a recording afterward where the teacher allows it.

Every teacher can claim and verify their profile by confirming a verification link sent to their official website or social account. Verified profiles display a small badge so seekers know the listing is maintained by the actual teacher. We also manually review featured profiles, check social and Spotify links where applicable, and remove profiles that fail verification. This isn't a perfect filter, but it's a stronger signal than generic event aggregators that scrape without permission and surface anything tagged Reiki — including birthday parties and corporate events.

Reiki listings include accessibility tags so seekers can filter by physical access (wheelchair access, hearing assistance, scent-free spaces), pricing accommodations (sliding scale, donation-based, scholarship available), and inclusive framing (beginner-friendly, LGBTQ+ welcoming, all bodies welcome). Organizers self-report these tags and we encourage them to be explicit. Many teachers also offer trade or work-exchange spots; reach out directly through BrightStar to inquire about specific needs.

Refund policy is set by each organizer and displayed clearly on the event page before checkout. Workshops and classes typically allow full refunds up to 24 hours before start, then credit-only inside that window. Multi-day retreats use tiered cancellation policies (e.g., full refund up to 60 days out, 50% up to 30 days, no refund inside 30 days). If an organizer cancels an event, attendees receive a full automatic refund. For exceptional circumstances, contact the organizer directly — many extend grace beyond their published policy.
