BrightStar meets your people in theirs — their words, their money, their way home.
Thirty currencies · Any language · Your own Stripe account
Nobody arrives at a kirtan, a retreat or a ceremony for the first time by accident.
They were looking for something, and they found the door. The only question a platform gets to answer is whether the door opens in a language they read, and asks for money in a currency they hold. Everything else is just plumbing — but that plumbing decides who gets in.
See the ecosystem you joinSanskrit and Gurmukhi and Hebrew and Arabic and Yoruba carry teachings that did not come through English, and never needed to. A platform that serves one language well and the rest badly has quietly decided which lineages count.
Your page is in that language — not an English page with a translate widget bolted to the corner.
Indexed in that language, so it answers a question asked in it, by a search engine or by an AI.
Checkout, the confirmation, the reminder the night before — and the dashboard you run it all from. The whole product, not just the poster.
A language BrightStar does not speak yet is a language it translates itself into, usually within the hour.
Currency is a property of the event, not the account. One login can hold a retreat priced in euros, a workshop in rupees and a festival in dollars — and each buyer is charged in the currency they were quoted.
Your earnings are never converted into one reporting currency. Converting would mean holding a rate that drifts from what Stripe actually settles at — a dashboard number your bank never pays you. Each currency is reported on its own terms, because that is the only version that is true.
These seven ship with the platform — the whole product, not a translated brochure. Anything else you need is not a roadmap item and not a support ticket: pick it, and BrightStar starts translating itself into it.
No queue, no date, no one to email. Choosing a language starts the work, and it appears on your event pages, your tickets and your reminders the moment it is ready — verified before it goes anywhere near a buyer.
Reading the languages your device knows…
Language is a property of the event, not the account — one login can hold a ceremony authored in Hindi, a concert in Japanese and a retreat in Portuguese. And it is never only the listing: the checkout, the ticket, every reminder and the dashboard you run it all from arrive in that language too.
You pick the language on the event itself. From there it is the language of the page Google indexes, the checkout, the ticket in their wallet and every email that follows.
हिन्दी · ₹ INRA different event, a different language, the same login. Your team works from a dashboard that is itself translated — not an English page with a widget bolted to the corner.
日本語 · ¥ JPYThree gatherings, three languages, one account and one payout. Nobody converted anything, and nobody wrote the same page twice.
Português · R$ BRLBrightStar never holds your money. Buyers pay into your own Stripe account and payouts land in your bank on Stripe’s schedule — nothing to release, nothing to withdraw, nothing to reconcile between two systems.
BrightStar has carried conscious gatherings — kirtan and retreats, sound healing and ceremony — for more than twenty years, across more countries than we set out to serve. The tools are new. The trust isn’t.

Hear from artists, organizers, and spiritual leaders who have trusted BrightStar with their events.
Why BrightStar
BrightStar is the world's first curated hub for the global consciousness movement — the top artists, teachers, events, venues, retreats, and editorial content from the entire conscious community, gathered onto a single platform. Nothing like this has existed before. Until now, the movement has lived scattered across thousands of personal websites, Eventbrite listings, Facebook events, and word-of-mouth threads. We've spent more than two decades pulling it all together. We're a spiritual event ticketing platform and conscious event marketplace, founded by father-and-son team GuruGanesha Singh and Akal Sahai Khalsa, born from a shared passion for sacred music, community, and service. Akal began this journey serving the movement as tour manager for Snatam Kaur, and that direct relationship with the artists and the practice has shaped everything we've built since. Over more than 20 years, we've powered tens of thousands of events, reached over one million attendees, and facilitated more than $100 million in ticket sales worldwide.
Underneath that hub is connective infrastructure: BrightStar links the people who make the movement — artists and teachers, venues and retreat centers, organizers and promoters, and the seekers who show up for them. Two engines power those connections. On the ticketing side, our checkout, scanner, attendee management, and analytics tools are built for transformational gatherings — from a single weekly meditation circle to multi-city kirtan tours. On the marketing side, we operate three programs working in concert: a built-in Affiliate Engine so promoters earn commissions sharing your event; a Brand Ambassador program where every ticket buyer automatically becomes a referral source; and Amplify — our paid marketing service that runs targeted Meta ads, email campaigns to our 500K+ list, and custom creative production for events that want professional growth.
About UsYou spent years learning how to hold a room — how to open it, how to carry it, how to send people home lighter than they came. None of that ever needed translating. Wherever the next room gathers, it would be our honour to carry everything around it, so that you can go on doing the part only you can do.
Free to list, in any language you gather in. The work stays yours — we only carry what surrounds it.
Got Questions?
Yes. Currency belongs to the event, not the account, so the same organizer can run a retreat in euros, a workshop in rupees and a festival in dollars from one login and one Stripe connection. The payment is created in that event’s own currency, so a buyer is charged in the currency they were quoted.
Thirty, spanning the Americas, Europe, the Gulf, Africa, South Asia and East and Southeast Asia — dollars, euros, pounds, rupees, yen, won, rand, reais, shekels, dirhams, baht, rupiah, ringgit and more.
No, and it is a deliberate refusal. Money stays in the currency it was earned in, all the way through to your reports. Converting would mean holding an exchange rate that drifts from what Stripe actually settles at, so your dashboard would show a figure your bank never pays you. A euro stays a euro.
You do. Buyers pay into your own Stripe account and payouts reach your bank on Stripe’s schedule. There is no BrightStar balance to withdraw from, nothing waiting to be released, and nothing to reconcile between two systems.
Then it learns it. Choose any language when you create the event and the platform translates itself into it — your page, checkout, the confirmation and reminder emails, and the way search engines and AI assistants read the event. Usually within the hour, with nothing for you to do.
It is most of who finds it. A page written in Portuguese is indexed in Portuguese and answers a question asked in Portuguese. A page translated only inside the visitor’s browser is invisible to all of that, because the crawler never saw the translation.
No. Selling in rupees costs what selling in dollars costs, and the fee is calculated in the event’s own currency rather than converted into one. Stripe’s card processing rates vary by card and country, as they do anywhere.
