Descripción
Seven nights in the Nicoya Peninsula jungle, held within a sacred container with Shipibo master healers from Peru and ceremonial guide Aubrey Marcus—this retreat invites you into a direct encounter with plant medicine as a teacher, not a quick fix. At Soltara Healing Center, where tropical forest meets the Pacific, you'll work with medicine in ceremony alongside experienced facilitators trained to hold space for the profound, sometimes difficult terrain that emerges. This is not a retreat built on guru culture or transcendence mythology. It is a practice grounded in humility, informed consent, and the recognition that the plants themselves are the primary agents of healing. You come to listen, to feel, to meet yourself.
The program arrives at a moment many seekers reach—when surface-level wellness no longer satisfies, when old patterns demand examination, when curiosity about plant medicine becomes an actual calling to go deeper. Whether you're new to ceremony or returning to the work, this retreat is structured to support genuine inquiry into the roots of suffering and what no longer serves your growth. Small group size ensures you receive the individual attention your process deserves, both in ceremony and in the integration work that follows.
What to Expect
Over seven nights, you'll participate in multiple ceremonies guided by Shipibo maestros, supported by experienced facilitators trained in trauma-informed care and emotional processing. Between ceremonies, you'll rest, integrate, and move through the profound material that surfaces—sometimes euphoric, sometimes tender, often both. The retreat emphasizes preparation before ceremony, skilled holding during the experience, and structured integration afterward. Participants work through emotional releases, somatic shifts, and moments of genuine clarity. You'll leave with grounded tools for integration back into daily life, not bypassed rapture.
