You Are Source: Breaking the Mind's Thought Continuity

Bentinho Massaro's 84-minute video "You ARE Source - The Only Video You Need," posted in April 2018, is one long instruction with a single target: the moment thinking stops and something unmodified is left standing. Massaro argues that the mind's habit of continuity, one thought hooked to the next and one description stacked on the last, is what keeps people from resting in the "I am" that comes before thought. He treats this less as a puzzle to solve than as a practice to do, for five or ten seconds at a time, several times a day. He also frames the stakes broadly, as whether anything a person does can be original rather than merely strategic. The video has drawn more than 460,000 views on YouTube, and it rewards slow reading.

The video opens mid-sentence, already in motion: "And like yesterday, drop into the space beyond mind as if your life depended on it." There is no warm-up and no survey of the material. Massaro assumes you already know the exercise and is pushing you to do it harder. The request is simple to state and hard to hear. He is not asking you to stop eating, working, or talking. He is asking you to stop the stream of thought that narrates your experience at this exact moment.

What does Massaro mean by the space beyond mind?

Massaro describes an innermost sense of "eye," a pure seeing before any modification, alteration, suggestion, or assumption. He asks: "Who are you without describing anything?" The state he points to is what he calls "conclusionless, meaningfree isness." He is careful to say it is not something to acquire. In his words, it is "the eye from where you see, the eye from where you hear, the eye from where you think. But it's before the thinker, prior to, more original than, more already here."

That distinction matters. Much spiritual talk turns awareness into an object of thought: a concept you hold, a state you describe, a result you chase. Massaro's point is the reverse. The "I am" is not a conclusion your mind reaches. It is what remains when the mind stops adding conclusions. He calls this isness "the gateway to something so endless and vast that it's your direct connection with source," and he describes the practice as becoming transparent as an individual to "that source which transcends individuation, which is the oneness beneath all things."

If your life depended on it, could you stop thinking for ten seconds?

The talk's central test is a thought experiment built on stakes. Massaro asks the listener to imagine that being utterly clear and present for ten seconds, with no thought allowed, is the only way to survive. "What if you really, really, really wanted to stop thinking?" he says. Then comes the logical move that gives the video its spine: "If you could do it, if you had to, it means you can do it. This applies to anything."

The argument is that the claim "I cannot stop thinking" is usually a claim about motivation, not capacity. Under real necessity, people often find they can interrupt a stream they insisted was unstoppable. Massaro's instruction follows from that: take the capacity you have proven under pressure and practice it deliberately. He asks for a "full stop," done intensely, "for 5 to 10 seconds," and repeated several times a day. He names what is being broken: "the habit of continuity, the habit of linearity, the habit of mind. The habit of description."

He is also honest that the practice is uncomfortable. "There's a certain threshold of discomfort that needs to be rested with until it breaks free," he says, and he expects the mind to protest. The mind, he suggests, will try to "strategize its way out of being into doing." The instruction is not to escape that discomfort but to stay with it until it "disappears and dissolves." Only then, he says, does isness "become reliably enjoyable."

Why does the mind fight back against stopping?

The talk's most vivid image arrives around the ten-minute mark (10:09). Massaro compares thought to a string that runs through a necklace. "When you penetrate, when you pierce the veil of linear thinking," he explains, "it's like cutting through the string that connects the pearls around your neck." Once the thread is cut, the pearls fall away. "It's no longer continuous. You've broken the circle. It's no longer useful as a necklace."

His reasoning is that a false story can only survive by pretending to be continuous. "The only way for an illusion to continue itself is to generate the illusion of continuity about what it's projecting." Strip out the linear chain and the stories lose their grip: "You can no longer believe in the stories if linearity continuity is taken out."

Massaro also says where the resistance comes from. The part of the mind that has "derived its sense of well-being and pleasure and joy from external circumstances, external objects, descriptions, interactions, relationships will not like this, because it's like a death." That is a striking diagnosis. Many people experience a stopped mind as emptiness, and Massaro reads that fear as the mind defending its own continuity rather than as evidence the practice is wrong.

Why do we keep chasing experiences and strategizing?

One of the talk's sharpest distinctions is between strategy and original success. Strategy, in Massaro's account, means learning how a thing works, learning to predict it, and then navigating around the predictions. It is a useful skill in the world of objects. But he says it is not the same as success that is "derived from an original state, that is sourceful in that way, that is intuitive, that is spontaneous, that is intelligent."

To reach that second kind, he says, you have to be willing to "give up the 3D world of descriptions and linearity and rest ever deeper in the mystery of I do not know except that I know." That paradox is central to the whole talk. Knowing, in this sense, is not having an answer. It is resting in the "I am" without needing the answer to be packaged first.

Restlessness, for Massaro, is a symptom. "We're going to be seeking experiences because we have learned to run away from what we are," he says. "We have not sufficiently developed the capacity to be as we are." His claim is that people chase because they cannot tolerate themselves without modification. If you cannot be comfortable with nothing added, he asks, "then how can you be comfortable with anything else?"

What are the roots of manipulation and the feeling of lack?

Around the thirteen-minute mark (13:18), Massaro gives an instruction that is easy to repeat and harder to keep: "Try not to get anything from anyone." He follows it with a question about how deep the roots of manipulation grow. He describes manipulation as beginning in the mind, in "the seeds of I am lacking something now." Those seeds, he says, are what make people needy and inauthentic in their dealings with others.

His proposed remedy is not moral effort alone. It is the removal of the premise. "Can you get rid of the notion or resolve the idea that you are lacking anything whatsoever right now?" he asks. If so, he says, "a sense of wholeness will replace the sense of lack," and abundance, freedom, and generosity will replace the need to extract something from others. The argument is that generosity is not a rule you enforce on yourself. It is what remains once the sense of lack has dissolved.

What subconscious assumption keeps us suffering?

At about fifteen minutes (15:16), the talk turns from practice to responsibility. Massaro asks listeners to see how they perpetuate their own suffering "every moment of every day," and then to find the reason. "What's the subconscious assumption for doing what we're doing? For chasing what we're chasing?" The task is to locate the false belief that fuels the habit of "thinking in terms of subject and object all the time, and never resting in the original space of bliss."

He leaves no room for outsourcing this work. "Who else do you think is going to do this?" he asks. "Who else will stop your mind and have you realize the self? Only you can do that." It is a demanding line, and it is also what separates this teaching from a passive promise of enlightenment. The practice is yours to do, and it is repeated, not completed once.

What does the naked self look like when nothing is added?

Around the eighteen-minute mark (18:15), Massaro offers a compact description of what the practice points toward: "The self is naked and free and innocent." He pairs this with a question that anchors the whole talk: "Can you know yourself nakedly?" If you cannot tolerate yourself without your reference points, he says, then you cannot have an authentic relationship with anything that arises in experience. The aim is to rest in what he calls "the emptiness of meaning, that emptiness of story," and to find that it is not empty of life.

Where does the talk end up?

The longer middle and final stretches of the video widen the frame. Around fifty-eight minutes (58:14), Massaro speaks of the "game of being incarnate," and near the hour-long mark he returns to alignment: "Alignment is singular." The argument here is that the many paths people take, and the many descriptions they give of them, converge on one thing. The practice of stopping is how a person finds that convergence in their own experience rather than taking it on authority.

Where to go from here

If you are new to this material, the most useful approach is probably not to watch the full 84 minutes in one sitting. Start with the first fifteen minutes, pause, and try the instruction Massaro gives early on: come to a full stop for five to ten seconds, rest in the "I am" with no description, and notice what the mind does next. Pay attention to the moment of protest he predicts. Then return to the sections on strategy versus original success and on the subconscious assumption, which give the practice its context.

Keep a short written record of what you notice, especially where you feel the pull toward a story. Massaro's own test is practical: if you cannot rest without description, you will look for something outside yourself to fill the gap. Finally, remember that the quotations here come from the video's auto-generated transcript, lightly cleaned for punctuation. Check any line you plan to repeat against the original recording.

[1:08] And like yesterday, drop

[1:13] into the space beyond mind

[1:21] as if your life depended on it.

[1:36] Sometimes people say I cannot stop

[1:38] thinking.

[1:41] But what if your life depended on it?

[1:49] What if you really, really, really

[1:52] wanted to stop thinking

[1:54] and be utterly clear and present

[1:59] for 10 seconds or you would die.

[2:07] Where no thought is allowed, all things

[2:09] are ignored. All points of view are

[2:12] ignored. There's only the I am. There's

[2:16] only the presence itself.

[2:42] If you had to,

[2:44] could you be aware

[2:47] of that innermost

[2:51] sense of divinity

[2:54] where there is a sense of eye just that

[2:58] shining pure

[3:01] before any modifications are made before

[3:04] any alterations S before any suggestions

[3:07] or assumptions,

[3:09] could you rest purely in the eye,

[3:13] if you had to,

[3:18] could you break

[3:20] the continuity of mind

[3:23] just for a few seconds if you really

[3:25] really had to.

[3:30] And if you could, that means you can.

[3:34] This applies to anything. If you could

[3:36] do it, if you had to, it means you can

[3:39] do it.

[3:46] So then practice that

[3:49] for a few seconds intensely,

[3:53] several times a day. Break through the

[3:56] habit

[3:58] of continuity, the habit of linearity,

[4:01] the habit of mind.

[4:04] The habit of description.

[4:07] Who are you without describing anything?

[4:18] And if you cannot be comfortable with

[4:20] that,

[4:22] then how can you be comfortable with

[4:25] anything else?

[4:28] We cannot be comfortable with ourselves

[4:30] as we are without any modification or

[4:33] addition or filter or conclusion or

[4:36] description.

[4:39] Then of course we're going to be

[4:40] restless also when we are using the mind

[4:44] also when we are engaged in action.

[4:47] We're going to be seeking experiences

[4:53] because we have learned to run away from

[4:56] what we are.

[4:58] We have not sufficiently developed the

[5:01] capacity to be as we are. No additions,

[5:10] no assumptions,

[5:14] just conclusionless, meaningfree isness,

[5:20] which again is the gateway to something

[5:24] so endless and vast

[5:28] that it's your direct connection with

[5:30] source.

[5:32] It's already here. is the eye from where

[5:34] you see, the eye from where you hear,

[5:38] the eye from where you think.

[5:41] But it's before the thinker,

[5:44] prior to, more original then, more

[5:46] already here. Thoughts you have to add

[5:50] every single day. It's a job. You have

[5:52] to continue to add thoughts to what is

[5:56] to what is to what you is.

[6:01] That isness, that I am is your gateway

[6:04] to the direct recognition, the

[6:06] realization, the deepening, the

[6:08] purification into source, becoming

[6:12] transparent as an individuated entity to

[6:15] that source which transcends

[6:17] individuation, which is the oneness

[6:19] beneath all things.

[6:24] If you cannot cut through the

[6:26] of mind at any given moment

[6:30] with great intensity and joy and

[6:32] surrender,

[6:36] then how will you really be successful

[6:38] at anything else?

[6:43] The only way to be successful at

[6:45] anything else if you cannot do this. If

[6:47] you can't reel back the mind and create

[6:50] an authentic original opening into

[6:53] clouds of the continuity of thought

[6:55] projections and rest in the essential

[6:58] formless nature of what is.

[7:03] Without that capacity to rest as you are

[7:07] profoundly awakened, rest and surrender

[7:10] into what is and be with what is

[7:14] and to open that gateway more and more.

[7:16] Open that door a little bit more every

[7:18] day. Open into that mystery, the direct

[7:22] realization of source within as the I

[7:26] before mind.

[7:29] The only way you can be successful

[7:31] without that

[7:33] is through strategy

[7:36] through through having to learn

[7:40] a certain thing

[7:42] how it works

[7:45] learn to predict it and then navigate

[7:47] around those predictions.

[7:49] But when it comes to original success,

[7:52] success that is derived from an original

[7:54] state, that is sourceful in that way,

[7:59] that is intuitive, that is spontaneous,

[8:01] that is intelligent,

[8:06] you have to be able to give up the 3D

[8:08] world of descriptions and linearity and

[8:11] rest ever deeper in the mystery of I do

[8:13] not know except that I know.

[8:19] And always rejuvenate

[8:22] yourself, recreate yourself, allow

[8:25] source to recreate yourself from that

[8:27] space where you come undone, where you

[8:30] come naked in the eye of awareness. And

[8:33] that which cease, no matter how

[8:35] uncomfortable it might be, to the mind,

[8:38] no matter how much it may squeal, try to

[8:41] strategize its way out of being

[8:45] into doing.

[8:50] There's a certain threshold of

[8:51] discomfort that needs to be rested with

[8:55] until it breaks free, until it

[8:57] disappears and dissolves. At which point

[9:00] isness becomes reliably enjoyable.

[9:10] But the portion of mind that has derived

[9:13] its sense of well-being and pleasure and

[9:15] joy from external circumstances,

[9:19] external objects, descriptions,

[9:20] interactions, relationships

[9:24] will not like this cuz it's like like a

[9:26] death. It doesn't want that. It wants to

[9:28] continue itself. You have to understand

[9:30] the only way for an illusion to continue

[9:33] itself is to generate the illusion of

[9:35] continuity

[9:37] about what it's projecting.

[9:41] If something is fundamentally untrue,

[9:43] but you think it is true, the only way

[9:46] the illusion can sustain itself is by

[9:49] projecting some form of continuity about

[9:53] its own existence.

[9:55] Meaning it needs to be continuous in its

[9:57] operational

[10:00] aspects.

[10:01] So when you penetrate, when you pierce

[10:04] the veil of linear thinking, when you

[10:06] stop it over and over again, it's like

[10:09] cutting through the string that connects

[10:12] the pearls around your neck, the

[10:15] necklace. When you cut through that

[10:18] thread, all the pearls will fall off

[10:21] that continuity. It's no longer

[10:23] continuous. You've broken the circle.

[10:26] It's no longer useful as a necklace. You

[10:28] can no longer believe in the stories if

[10:31] linearity continuity is taken out.

[10:39] So stop yourself completely radically

[10:41] come to a full stop complete stop as if

[10:44] your life depended on it

[10:48] for 5 to 10 seconds.

[10:57] And in that full stop recognize the

[10:59] isness, the me that remains until that

[11:02] becomes home,

[11:04] until that becomes easeful

[11:09] and never ending.

[11:13] Until awareness of the deeper self

[11:16] becomes more continuous than the

[11:18] thoughts about objects.

[11:49] Who are you without your descriptions?

[11:52] Without your reference points,

[11:56] can you rest in that emptiness of

[11:58] meaning, that emptiness of story?

[12:02] Can you know yourself nakedly?

[12:06] Because again if we cannot tolerate

[12:07] ourselves in the naked state

[12:11] then how can we expect to have a

[12:13] authentic relationship with anything

[12:15] that arises with the contents of

[12:17] experience.

[12:29] So break through the cycle, pierce the

[12:31] veil, penetrate

[12:34] and stop by thoughts repeating

[12:36] themselves, repeating themselves,

[12:38] repeating themselves.

[12:40] See how nonsensical it is to hope for

[12:44] something out of circumstances by always

[12:47] thinking and strategizing and trying to

[12:49] chase an experience.

[12:51] See the futility of it, the endlessness

[12:53] of it. This is not where well-being is

[12:55] found. Well-being is found in the

[12:58] inexhaustible source that you already

[12:59] are. Rest in the inexhaustible source.

[13:03] Try not to get anything from anyone.

[13:07] Can you today not try to get anything

[13:09] from anyone?

[13:11] And see how subtle the roots of

[13:13] manipulation

[13:15] lie within the mind. How deep these

[13:18] roots grow.

[13:23] Can you uproot those roots?

[13:27] Can you burn down those bushes?

[13:33] Can you roast the seeds in the mind?

[13:38] The seeds of manipulation, the seeds of

[13:41] I am lacking something now.

[13:45] Can you get rid of the notion or resolve

[13:48] the idea that you are lacking anything

[13:52] whatsoever right now?

[13:57] And if you can, a sense of wholeness

[13:59] will replace the sense of lack.

[14:03] And the sense of abundance and freedom

[14:05] and generosity will replace the sense of

[14:08] manipulation and needing something and

[14:11] being inauthentic.

[14:16] But you have to break the cycle.

[14:39] Who else do you think is going to do

[14:41] this?

[14:53] We all have to realize the source of our

[14:56] own unhappiness of our suffering and how

[14:58] we perpetuate that. We have to know how

[15:01] we are perpetuating it. And when we see

[15:04] that we are perpetuating it every moment

[15:07] of every day senselessly,

[15:10] then we can get to see why we perpetuate

[15:13] it. What is the reason? What's the

[15:16] subconscious assumption

[15:18] for doing what we're doing? For chasing

[15:20] what we're chasing, for elaborating on

[15:23] what we're elaborating on, for

[15:25] describing what we're describing, for

[15:28] thinking in terms of subject and object

[15:30] all the time, and never resting in the

[15:32] original space of bliss.

[15:36] Never knowing ourselves nakedly.

[15:51] You have to see the fallacy

[15:55] that constitutes that behavior.

[15:58] You have to see the false assumption,

[16:02] the false belief

[16:04] that fuels that way of operating.

[16:12] Who else will do this for you? Who else

[16:15] will stop your mind and have you realize

[16:18] the self?

[16:22] Only you can do that.

[16:33] But as with anything, you have to want

[16:35] it more than you want something else.

[16:39] If you're not having it, it means you're

[16:41] not wanting it.

[16:44] What is it that you want a little bit

[16:46] more?

[16:48] Be honest about it. Investigate

[16:51] how you're manipulating things to try to

[16:53] get that,

[16:56] including my time.

[17:02] and see why you want that more than say

[17:07] self-realization directly here now.

[17:10] Why do you want that more than the

[17:12] instant state change of going from a

[17:14] personal self to becoming the vision or

[17:18] the personal self to becoming the self

[17:22] or resting in swords? What's preventing

[17:25] that state change from being

[17:28] continuous now from being chosen as

[17:31] being

[17:33] most important to you now.

[17:36] Why do you perpetuate other cycles? You

[17:39] must believe something is lacking. Now,

[17:44] without like beliefs, you have no fuel

[17:46] for inauthentic cycles and patterns and

[17:49] descriptions and strategies.

[17:52] You cannot manipulate when you're

[17:54] completely convinced of the infinite

[17:56] abundance that is here now.

[18:01] It's only when you believe you are

[18:02] unfulfilled and things are imperfect

[18:06] that you have fuel

[18:09] to manipulate and to strategize and to

[18:12] be inauthentic.

[18:15] The self is naked and free and innocent.

[18:18] It cannot be inauthentic.

[18:21] Be as the self is. Shine as God is.

[18:59] have more faith in bliss

[19:02] than in matter

[19:06] which all revolves around something is

[19:08] missing and I have to strategize my way

[19:11] into safety, security, preservation,

[19:13] maintenance,

[19:15] expansion, accumulation

[19:18] It's all based on lack.

[19:21] When we rest in bliss and circumstances

[19:23] even begin to disappear from view

[19:26] because we're so absorbed in God in

[19:28] bliss.

[19:29] Doesn't mean we're not available. Things

[19:32] will flow through us. Action will come

[19:34] from that sourcefully, naturally,

[19:36] intelligently, spontaneously without

[19:38] premeditation. It's not behavior.

[19:42] It's flow. It's not behavior. It's

[19:44] intelligence in action. Love in action,

[19:46] freedom in action. There's nobody inside

[19:49] your brain doing it.

[19:54] Source is operating. You become more

[19:56] like a mirror. This requires

[19:58] purification, emptiness, commitment,

[20:00] devotion to that which is pure and free

[20:02] of continuity.

[20:05] Source does not know continuity.

[20:07] It just is all the time. But it doesn't

[20:11] know linearity, continuity, and time.

[20:16] It is spontaneously ever free, already

[20:20] here, already now. There's nothing in

[20:23] your mind that's not a projection of

[20:26] this ever free, ever fresh, ever awake,

[20:29] ever available, always now isness, love,

[20:33] bliss, space, awakeness,

[20:36] God, I, I,

[20:40] pure, being, existence, bliss.

[20:49] There's nothing

[20:52] else

[20:54] for anything to be made out of.

[20:59] So already your problems are timelessly

[21:02] free as they are.

[21:05] Again, this is the absolute approach.

[21:09] This is not realization of the absolute,

[21:11] but it's a more absolute approach. It's

[21:14] a direct approach

[21:17] that of resting and recognizing the

[21:19] original nature of all phenomena that

[21:22] there cannot be anything else for

[21:24] something to be made out of. Therefore,

[21:26] anything that appears is already made of

[21:29] the bliss that you seek.

[21:32] That means your conflict is made of love

[21:35] very directly.

[21:37] This can be experienced. Conflict

[21:40] is constituted by love.

[21:44] Suffering is made up of out of lucidity,

[21:50] clarity,

[21:52] awareness.

[21:55] All appearances are light which are the

[22:00] dynamic energy of awareness.

[22:11] Already everything is rested in

[22:13] awareness. You just don't see it yet

[22:16] perhaps. But when you stop the mind and

[22:18] you rest with things as they are, you

[22:21] will see that the appearances as they

[22:23] are are already rested in timeless

[22:25] awareness. You don't have to move away

[22:27] from anything. You don't have to

[22:29] manipulate what arises. What arises is

[22:32] already the perfection that you seek.

[22:34] Just let it be and die. Die to what is

[22:39] and you will die to love.

[22:47] Do not try to control and judge and

[22:49] condemn and describe and

[22:50] compartmentalize and segment

[22:53] and strategize around these artificial

[22:56] compartments of description.

[23:10] Just let them be and face the fact that

[23:14] your problems too are God. For what else

[23:21] could there be but existence itself

[23:26] for your problems to be created out of?

[23:29] There is no other substance but self

[23:33] anywhere in creation. Creation is

[23:36] founded by source.

[23:39] Thus then

[23:41] anything you can experience including

[23:44] the things you don't like including the

[23:46] things you have come to believe are

[23:48] obstacles or problems to realization or

[23:51] happiness. These two are made of

[23:55] awareness, love, light. When you let

[23:58] them be exactly as they are and you stop

[24:01] the descriptive mind, the strategist,

[24:08] then you begin to see the nature of

[24:11] appearances rather than the description

[24:14] of appearances.

[24:16] Rather than judgments and labels and

[24:19] stories, you begin to rest in the

[24:22] original nature of all appearances.

[24:25] Awareness is inseparable from

[24:27] appearances. Form is inseparable from

[24:30] formlessness.

[24:31] Resting with form is the same as resting

[24:34] with formlessness.

[24:38] It's just resting,

[24:40] recognizing its nature to be that which

[24:43] cannot be given form or name. It simply

[24:45] is.

[24:48] Allow your heart to open and for the

[24:50] realization of God to shine forth in

[24:52] this instinctive way.

[24:55] before mind. It's instinctive. It's an

[24:57] instinctive realization

[25:01] of the one creation constituting all

[25:04] experiences. Bliss, beingness, love,

[25:09] isness, space, different qualities

[25:14] of the same isness.

[25:16] Like wetness and fluidity are qualities

[25:20] of water that you cannot separate from

[25:22] water. There is no water apart from

[25:24] fluidity. There is no water apart from

[25:27] wetness.

[25:32] There is no self apart from bliss, apart

[25:35] from being, love, isness, space.

[25:42] You are the space out of which objects

[25:44] are made. You see, there are not really

[25:47] any objects because what else would they

[25:50] exist out of? They would need an

[25:53] independent nature, something other than

[25:55] the one infinite creation. But there

[25:57] only is the one infinite creation

[25:59] because it's infinite. It is all. It is

[26:02] one.

[26:06] We imagine our thoughts, our emotions,

[26:08] our problems, our obstacles, our life

[26:10] situations, our partners, our dogs that

[26:13] they're coming from somewhere else,

[26:16] that they're made of flesh and bone.

[26:19] But they're not. They are formless

[26:22] awareness. They are the Buddha

[26:25] already timelessly perfect. Just rest.

[26:29] Just die

[26:31] and see what happens.

[26:36] Very little actually happens. Then

[26:39] you just are and you continue to be and

[26:41] that expands into more perfected

[26:44] pristine experiential

[26:47] state of absorption of bliss.

[26:51] And that radiance will begin to dominate

[26:54] your actions and your strategies and

[26:56] your responses for you.

[26:59] In fact, that then becomes you. You

[27:02] become that you become identified as

[27:04] source, not as phenomena.

[27:09] You become the field,

[27:13] not the objects,

[27:16] nor the egoic subject that derives its

[27:18] well-being and its sense of self from

[27:20] seeing objects and describing them.

[27:24] You see, without descriptions, if you

[27:26] stay without descriptions long enough,

[27:29] the sense of being the subject of

[27:31] objects disappears and there's only the

[27:33] indescribable isness of love, bliss,

[27:37] awareness.

[27:39] This is God. Only God is. Only that

[27:42] which is is that which is not is not.

[27:48] So don't worry about it.

[27:51] Only isness is.

[27:55] So go to isness and realize that somehow

[27:58] only that exists. The rest has no

[28:02] isness. It's just projection. Empty

[28:04] projection.

[28:07] Illusion.

[28:09] Rest is God. Over and over again.

[28:52] Plus will take away the perspective of

[28:55] matter.

[29:00] And somehow in that resting you will

[29:02] know that everything is taken care of

[29:04] that you previously cared about is taken

[29:08] care of. You don't have to worry.

[29:12] Time and space and events and phenomena

[29:14] and reflections they are all governed to

[29:16] begin with by this infinite field of

[29:18] infinite intelligence anyway. So you may

[29:21] as well rest as this intelligence so you

[29:23] can grow in intelligence can align

[29:26] yourself with this intelligence and

[29:29] dance and be and breathe and is and even

[29:32] think in harmony with Dao

[29:36] that original harmonious

[29:39] nature of all being the one infinite

[29:42] creator.

[30:00] All things appear inside of you. You are

[30:02] the source of all things.

[30:08] What could you possibly experience

[30:10] outside of yourself or without yourself?

[30:13] Self is the source of all phenomena.

[30:16] Rest is self and your rest is everything

[30:18] and the potential of everything.

[30:25] Let go of your attachments if you can,

[30:28] if you want to.

[30:32] Are you ready for just bliss or do you

[30:35] need to derive bliss from having

[30:37] achieved a certain state or relationship

[30:41] or agreement

[30:42] validation?

[30:44] Do you want that type of bliss

[30:48] which is very very short term

[30:53] and it's got very very long

[30:55] intermissions of struggle and chasing

[31:00] and fretting and worrying about not

[31:02] being good enough and trying so hard and

[31:06] destroying your system in the process

[31:08] and not loving yourself in the process.

[31:11] All for those couple of seconds every

[31:13] few years of success, fulfillment, and

[31:17] being loved. If you're lucky, couple of

[31:20] seconds every month.

[31:23] If you've done really well for yourself,

[31:25] a couple seconds a day. But still, you

[31:28] have to see. You would not pay to go see

[31:31] a movie.

[31:33] Okay, that every two seconds it has an

[31:36] intermission of 24 hours.

[31:41] And then you go and buy popcorn and

[31:44] destroy your body

[31:48] and wait and wait.

[31:52] Wait for that moment where you can get

[31:54] back in cinemas finally seated.

[31:58] Full bucket of popcorn and diet Pepsi.

[32:09] So excited,

[32:11] so in anticipation of those two seconds

[32:13] of perfection

[32:15] and then the movie starts and before you

[32:18] can even have one mouthful of popcorn,

[32:20] the next intermission of 24 hours

[32:22] begins.

[32:27] This is the state of humanity and we

[32:29] call that the search for happiness.

[32:34] But given the proportions of actually

[32:38] experiencing happiness

[32:40] versus struggle, chase, and attempt,

[32:45] we might as well call it

[32:50] the game of believing that I'm lacking

[32:52] everything that I am.

[32:58] We're not playing the happiness game.

[33:00] We're playing the suffering game.

[33:03] And we willingly when we are handed the

[33:05] keys to liberation, we willingly

[33:08] continue to disobey those instructions

[33:11] and continue to be addicted to the

[33:14] intermission and the chase for those two

[33:16] seconds of bliss.

[33:23] What are you awaiting?

[33:28] Are you awaiting a relationship?

[33:34] where you'll get the perfect amount of

[33:36] validation

[33:37] for the constructs that aren't you to

[33:39] begin with but you think are you so that

[33:42] they can sustain and endure and be

[33:45] validated so you can be happy and a

[33:47] false self.

[33:49] Is that something you're hoping for down

[33:51] the line?

[33:53] That sounds like a pleasant future.

[34:03] Are you waiting for the next meal, the

[34:05] next pizza? Perhaps

[34:10] it's actually probably more worthwhile.

[34:16] At least you can buy a pizza however

[34:18] often you want to and it'll do whatever

[34:20] the hell you want it to do.

[34:26] You can eat it. You can eye gaze with

[34:27] it.

[34:30] You can strip it of its cheese and just

[34:32] eat the gluten.

[34:35] Or feed the gluten to your dog and just

[34:37] eat the cheese.

[34:41] Cut it up in tiny pieces.

[34:44] Or you can try to fit the whole thing in

[34:46] your mouth at once.

[34:49] Either way, it won't complain. It will

[34:50] do exactly what you do it.

[34:58] What are you hoping for?

[35:00] What are you waiting for?

[35:04] Is it money?

[35:06] Are you waiting for money?

[35:12] And then what? You don't even know what

[35:14] the to do with it when you have it.

[35:18] You have it and you run around like a

[35:20] maniac not knowing what to do with it.

[35:23] You're still not happy

[35:27] because you've externalized your source.

[35:29] You've externalized given away all your

[35:31] power.

[35:33] Now I'm happy because

[35:35] now I perceive that I can do this with

[35:38] my body.

[35:40] But when has doing something with your

[35:42] body ever caused you lasting

[35:44] sourcefulness?

[35:52] Is any of the microphones, the handheld

[35:54] ones on right now? If so, can you turn

[35:56] it off? No. Okay.

[36:02] Are you waiting for money? Who's waiting

[36:04] for money? Raise your hand.

[36:07] Nobody. Nobody has that construct

[36:10] running. I don't believe any of it.

[36:14] Who is waiting for that liberation that

[36:17] money will bring you,

[36:19] right? It's a construct.

[36:22] We're absolutely conditioned with it

[36:27] now. You may know better, but it doesn't

[36:28] mean the program isn't running anymore.

[36:31] Right?

[36:40] who's waiting for means, the means to be

[36:42] who they are, the means to do what they

[36:44] want to do, the means to go where they

[36:46] want to go to,

[36:48] right? And money is predominantly the

[36:51] symbol for most of us.

[37:08] I'd be really happy if Again,

[37:11] you guys can walk out of this retreat

[37:13] not wanting a single thing,

[37:18] not waiting

[37:20] for anything,

[37:23] not hoping

[37:25] for anything down the line.

[37:28] Not a relationship,

[37:31] not companionship,

[37:33] not validation,

[37:36] not until you can begin to be a teacher

[37:38] yourself,

[37:41] not until you get the attention you

[37:43] want,

[37:44] not until you have the bank account that

[37:46] you want,

[37:48] not until the taxes disappear. Okay, you

[37:51] can you can keep that one.

[38:00] But I'd love for you to be able to walk

[38:02] out of this retreat wanting nothing

[38:05] except wanting taxes to disappear, but

[38:07] other than that, being completely happy.

[38:18] Of course, I'm kidding. No once.

[38:23] So, put yourself in the state. Imagine

[38:25] yourself in a version where you have no

[38:27] want.

[38:29] What would that require?

[38:31] How could you fully stand in the power

[38:34] of no longer wanting anything? And

[38:37] imagine the space that becomes available

[38:40] instantly.

[38:43] What would your mind do if it's not busy

[38:47] strategizing for some secret

[38:48] subconscious hope based on another

[38:51] secret subconscious belief that

[38:53] something right now is not perfect?

[38:59] So you paint over the pristine innate

[39:01] perfection of life as it is with a lack

[39:03] belief and you paint over that lack

[39:06] belief with a strategy

[39:09] and now you're hoping for outcome.

[39:12] By the way, Anoraga just set the

[39:14] intention for the end of this retreat

[39:17] which is I want them to walk out of this

[39:20] retreat not wanting anything anymore.

[39:28] Being in the state where you don't want

[39:30] anything.

[39:32] Imagine the space that is available.

[39:36] The sheer joy,

[39:39] bliss, freedom,

[39:42] creativity, and natural service to

[39:44] others that becomes readily available

[39:46] when you break free from the illusion

[39:49] that there's something missing right now

[39:52] that you have to strategize your way

[39:54] into. that you have to get out of a

[39:56] retreat to fulfill. If you can remove or

[39:59] see through this initial lack belief

[40:02] that something right now about you is

[40:04] not perfect, it's missing

[40:08] that you are in need of something,

[40:10] money, relationship,

[40:13] career,

[40:16] enlightenment.

[40:22] When you've wanted the least, you've

[40:25] been the most awake, have you not?

[40:27] You've been the most available

[40:30] to existence as it is. And the organic

[40:34] spontaneous synchronicity with which the

[40:36] stream of intelligent events simply show

[40:40] up on the screen of your consciousness

[40:42] when you are clean and available and

[40:45] rested.

[40:49] Raise your hand if you've had a glimpse

[40:51] of this.

[40:54] And in that moment, did you have a lot

[40:56] of wants and hopes and strategies to get

[40:59] to those wants and hopes?

[41:02] Right? No,

[41:04] you were available. You were fulfilled.

[41:10] And do you remember in that state that

[41:12] you were naturally you were in a state

[41:15] of being that was by its very nature

[41:18] naturally of service to the whole the

[41:21] wholeness of creation.

[41:23] Do you remember that just a sense of

[41:26] overflowingness of radiance of

[41:28] availability

[41:30] of non-planned

[41:32] not premeditated

[41:34] unbridled spontaneous intelligence? Do

[41:38] you remember? You were just present. You

[41:41] were just available

[41:44] right there fully fully here because you

[41:48] weren't lost in concepts, a future and

[41:52] outcome.

[41:54] The more fulfilled you are, whether it

[41:57] is through investigation,

[42:01] uprooting the lack ideas that motivate

[42:04] your current strategies

[42:07] that dominate your mind, or whether it

[42:10] is through aligning to your calling

[42:13] while you are here, very powerfully

[42:15] aligning to that.

[42:17] or whether it is through directly

[42:19] resting as the unconditioned state

[42:21] immediately. Now

[42:25] in any of these conditions when done

[42:27] fully and authentically you were

[42:29] completely present and available.

[42:33] There was no projection of hope.

[42:45] So imagine yourself three days from now

[42:48] walking out of these doors not even

[42:51] looking forward to your life.

[42:58] Now if you're tempted to ask the

[42:59] question on the last day, how do I

[43:02] maintain this when I get home? You've

[43:04] missed the point.

[43:10] Do you get that?

[43:30] Can you be without once?

[43:42] Look how joyful you become.

[43:49] What if it is your very own desires that

[43:51] destroy you every single day that shred

[43:53] you apart?

[43:55] What if it is that trying so hard to get

[43:57] somewhere

[44:00] rather than just being and being and

[44:04] being and let that create life for you?

[44:10] It's being awake, being true, being

[44:13] available, being without trying to

[44:15] fulfill anything.

[44:20] What if that's the state change you are

[44:22] capable of making right now?

[44:26] But then the story ends, right? The

[44:27] retreat ends

[44:30] and he paid for it. So

[44:33] you'd be surprised to see ridiculous

[44:35] things such as strategies that happen in

[44:38] the subconscious mind. Story such as,

[44:40] well, okay, I can imagine that, but I'll

[44:42] wait until the end of the retreat

[44:43] because I still want to get what I came

[44:45] here for.

[44:49] So, I don't want what I came here for

[44:51] yet because I paid for it and there's

[44:53] three more days left. So, let me get a

[44:56] little bit more of what I want before I

[44:58] get what I want before I choose what I

[45:01] really want.

[45:08] There's so many ridiculous strategies.

[45:16] Just see them. Let's just see these,

[45:18] okay? Today, let's see these strategies

[45:20] and let's laugh at them. Let's just have

[45:22] a lot of fun being really present making

[45:26] fun of ourselves until we can no longer

[45:29] believe in these strategies.

[45:33] Let's just have fun with the intention

[45:35] that we walk out of this retreat not

[45:37] wanting anything.

[45:39] And actually if we were really rigorous

[45:41] that would translate if I really were

[45:43] not to support those beliefs that would

[45:45] translate as walking out of this retreat

[45:47] now or today.

[45:49] Well now now not wanting anything

[45:54] because you cannot achieve not wanting

[45:56] anything two days from now.

[45:59] Trust me, if you're not doing it now,

[46:00] you're not going to do it two days from

[46:02] now. Because in between now and then,

[46:05] you'll have lost all the inspiration and

[46:06] guidance and incentive that right now

[46:09] you have much more readily available

[46:11] than two days from now after we do more

[46:13] talking.

[46:17] And what would change about the

[46:19] orientation of a group of people, a

[46:22] group of intelligent people or at least

[46:24] people trying to become intelligent

[46:26] coming together

[46:30] when they have no wants for personal

[46:33] self and no projections even for others

[46:37] but just being available in the space

[46:39] that is.

[46:43] How would it change the nature of an

[46:44] event like this? a gathering. Then it's

[46:47] no longer an event. It's a gathering.

[46:49] We're gathering.

[46:51] Like why?

[46:53] What would unfold? What would arise? How

[46:56] would it be different?

[46:59] Celebration.

[47:19] Have you noticed that in your

[47:20] relationships, whether it is to your

[47:22] children or your partner or even your

[47:25] parents,

[47:28] that you're so much more naturally

[47:29] excited to be completely with them and

[47:34] engaged and giving of yourself

[47:37] when you have availability.

[47:42] One of the most stressful things in

[47:44] relationships is not having

[47:46] availability, right?

[47:49] And expecting things from each other.

[47:51] But as an from an energetic point of

[47:54] view, why do we not really enjoy the

[47:56] relationships we're with? It's usually

[47:58] because we're not available. We're

[48:01] occupied with wants,

[48:04] strategies to try to get somewhere.

[48:09] And there's nothing wrong with playing

[48:11] an exciting game and giving it all that

[48:14] you have and playing with the illusion

[48:17] of outcome and different probabilities

[48:20] and different players in the game.

[48:23] There's nothing wrong with playing that

[48:24] game. But if that game is still

[48:26] constituted on a state of lack, it will

[48:30] be polluted and it will use be used for

[48:33] gratification of self in the hopes of

[48:36] being able to satisfy self. Again, you

[48:39] would not go see a movie if every two

[48:42] seconds they would stop it for a 24-hour

[48:45] long intermission.

[48:47] You just would not pay to see that

[48:48] movie.

[48:51] So, why are you investing in your life

[48:53] in that way? Why wait for those two

[48:55] seconds of perfection circumstantially

[48:58] when you can be sourceful? Be insourers

[49:04] consistently

[49:06] free of that linear storyline. just

[49:09] being available and then the

[49:11] intelligence will naturally operate

[49:13] through your blueprint and it will

[49:15] purify it and heal it from the past

[49:17] distortions very rapidly. It will

[49:20] literally reshape the very structure of

[49:22] your etheric and physical body

[49:25] to match the original blueprint of what

[49:27] you came here to be which you have

[49:29] distorted over time with other thoughts

[49:31] and lack ideas and conditioning. When

[49:34] you remove that conditioning which is

[49:36] removed instantly, when you remove the

[49:39] reason for wanting things, if you no

[49:42] longer want things, you're completely

[49:44] available.

[49:46] This massive purge and healing process

[49:48] begins instantly and rapidly. And this

[49:52] clearing happens

[49:55] and God can come through, shine through

[49:58] in the unique way that you are designed

[50:00] to be here as part of the puzzle of

[50:03] humanity's ascension at this time. You

[50:05] don't even have to think about this.

[50:07] This just happens structurally,

[50:09] energetically inside of the illusion of

[50:11] the body, the mind, the collective that

[50:13] you're part of.

[50:17] So it would change the nature of

[50:20] gatherings.

[50:24] You wouldn't have to retreat from

[50:26] anything. You wouldn't have to retreat

[50:28] from your own mind. You would already be

[50:31] that freedom. And now that availability

[50:34] would come together for the only purpose

[50:36] just to be together and to play and

[50:40] create according to your natural

[50:42] intelligence. But that would be governed

[50:44] very naturally and automatically and

[50:45] spontaneously.

[50:47] You would not have to plan coming here.

[50:50] You would not have to plan what you're

[50:52] doing or what you're wanting. The

[50:54] availability would show up in a very

[50:56] spontaneous way. Again, if you're

[50:58] playing with your child and you're

[51:00] having an amazing day at the park, very

[51:02] simple but amazing day is because you're

[51:05] fully available and there's a

[51:08] spontaneity that happens. You're not

[51:10] planning anything.

[51:13] You're just in the joy of being able to

[51:15] recognize God in your child and in

[51:17] yourself and in the freedom and in the

[51:18] sunshine and in the blades of grass that

[51:20] that day provides you with

[51:36] you seeing

[51:45] Sorry.

[51:47] Can we turn on the microphone?

[51:50] It's not uh doing much.

[51:57] Like this?

[51:58] Yes.

[51:58] Good. I feel great.

[52:01] You feel great?

[52:02] Yeah. It's quite perfect.

[52:04] Quite perfect. Yeah.

[52:09] An incredible feeling to be back home.

[52:13] To be home.

[52:15] Yeah.

[52:15] Wonderful.

[52:16] Did Did you see something that triggered

[52:19] your your funny bone?

[52:20] Yeah.

[52:22] Um

[52:22] when we stand in truth, everything we

[52:24] thought was true is now kind of funny to

[52:26] us in religious.

[52:29] Um,

[52:32] I could see me like um when I was a very

[52:36] little girl, happy, joyful.

[52:46] Um,

[52:49] in French,

[52:56] the time does not exist. Were you

[52:58] speaking another language?

[53:01] She she was actually speaking another

[53:03] language, right? Or no. Okay.

[53:06] Time does not exist. And

[53:08] time does not exist.

[53:10] No.

[53:10] Right.

[53:11] And I'm like

[53:13] I'm exactly the same as

[53:16] Yes.

[53:18] So long ago. Um I touch in eternity.

[53:22] Yes.

[53:23] Yeah. That's it.

[53:24] That's what's invulnerable. That's why

[53:26] life is then funny.

[53:28] It's incredible.

[53:29] It is wonderful.

[53:33] Thank you. Beautiful.

[53:38] Source is invulnerable. Source is

[53:40] eternal. Source is timeless. So from a

[53:43] sourceful place, life is play. It's not

[53:46] a threat.

[53:49] From the point of view of being a person

[53:51] inside of a body needing to accomplish

[53:53] something to prove its worth,

[53:56] everything is a threat. Everything is an

[53:58] opportunity to manipulate and ensure

[54:00] something stays a certain way and other

[54:03] things don't.

[54:06] It's no way to live. And it's not

[54:07] authentic. It's not natural. It's not

[54:09] organic. And it's definitely doesn't

[54:11] feel good

[54:13] because it's out of alignment with

[54:15] source. Anything that's out of alignment

[54:16] with source will feel horrible.

[54:23] When we tap into this eternity whether

[54:26] through the direct means of recognizing

[54:29] the eternal directly or we need to have

[54:32] developed the subtlety to be able to do

[54:34] that but it is possible and it's very

[54:36] direct. You just are and recognize the

[54:38] source and the infinite nature of that

[54:40] the eternal nature of that direct

[54:42] recognition.

[54:44] Those were the core the inner circles of

[54:48] the teachings. Hinduism, Buddhism, they

[54:50] all had this sort of secret inner core

[54:52] of the direct path which was simply

[54:54] you're already free and that is the

[54:58] recognition and there's no strategy into

[55:00] that.

[55:03] Again, the only other helpful approach

[55:05] is to investigate and to get to know

[55:08] through the process of contemplation and

[55:09] investigation.

[55:11] But when we touch in with this eternity,

[55:17] the source within,

[55:19] life shifts from being a serious threat

[55:22] to being a playful opportunity to just

[55:25] be, to just let that flow create and be

[55:28] spontaneous and spread love, joy, and

[55:31] light. Spread the message of the one

[55:33] infinite creator through your own unique

[55:35] blueprint, skill set, talents, passions,

[55:38] whatever, whatever arises.

[55:40] But you're not taking it seriously. You

[55:43] cannot be sourceful and identify with

[55:45] the person that you think you are at the

[55:46] same time. You just can't do that.

[55:50] You're either sourceful or you're

[55:52] identified with the person and motivated

[55:54] by the person you think you have to

[55:55] protect. That's why so many of us even

[55:58] when our souls are knocking on our doors

[56:01] on the back door of our hearts louder

[56:04] and louder and louder because time is

[56:06] ticking away from a physical point of

[56:08] view and we're not paying attention and

[56:10] it's generating more and more catalyst

[56:12] so that we wake up but we pay attention.

[56:15] It's knocking on the doors of our hearts

[56:18] with this desire, this passion to just

[56:21] be free, to be playful, to know that

[56:24] you're already one with source. You're

[56:26] already home. Nothing could ever happen

[56:29] to you. Start living for the greater

[56:32] benefit of all.

[56:34] Be that free fountain of exuberant,

[56:37] abundant,

[56:39] sourceful spontaneity.

[56:44] But you're contradicting yourselves in a

[56:47] very painful way.

[56:50] You're contradicting your own energies.

[56:53] That which wants to come forth through

[56:54] you, you're contradicting it

[56:57] when you're living

[56:59] for the person that you think you are.

[57:03] From that point of view, everything is a

[57:06] threat.

[57:13] Someone playing music

[57:16] or is it outside

[57:30] the pain you have experienced all your

[57:33] life to some extent

[57:36] is that of going against the stream of

[57:38] your own source.

[57:42] disagreeing with the safety that's

[57:45] already here, the invulnerability of

[57:48] eternity.

[57:52] So when we realign to that eternity,

[58:02] we become that eternity and we start

[58:05] coming from we start being available

[58:08] from that eternity

[58:12] and it changes the entire gestalt of the

[58:14] game of being incarnate

[58:18] in the illusion.

[58:21] Now the play appears as a play.

[58:25] Now you're no longer afraid to play, to

[58:29] be available. It's not even that you are

[58:31] playing the game. It's just that you're

[58:33] so allin that you're so dropped in.

[58:36] You're so the inescapable, most grounded

[58:40] background of you that from that

[58:44] stability, from that eternity, the play

[58:47] just explodes like an effortless,

[58:53] dynamic,

[58:55] intelligently guided firework show.

[59:02] Nobody can be said to be doing all that.

[59:05] Nobody is doing their calling. Nobody is

[59:09] doing life. Nobody is doing joyful

[59:12] experiences.

[59:15] If you look deeply into it, you'll see

[59:17] that it it's also not a happening that

[59:19] happens from the outside that you have

[59:22] no control over. It's neither. It is

[59:25] source, its own dynamic energy

[59:27] reflecting

[59:29] your alignment.

[59:32] And it's appearing, it's arising, it's

[59:34] being expressed inside yourself, inside

[59:37] your consciousness.

[59:40] So the game what gets projected onto the

[59:42] screen of your source of your

[59:44] consciousness changes according to your

[59:47] degree of alignment with the eternal

[59:51] truth of that sourcefulness

[59:55] versus the ideas that you have developed

[59:58] over time that now contradict that

[1:00:01] effortless flow that wants to happen.

[1:00:04] There's all these rockets ready to be

[1:00:07] set off. These fireworks

[1:00:11] and they're all lit. The fuse is growing

[1:00:15] smaller and smaller and you're trying to

[1:00:17] not have it

[1:00:20] explode. You're trying to control it.

[1:00:23] You're afraid.

[1:00:25] Maybe it's not perfect. Maybe it's not

[1:00:27] this. But from an eternal place, you

[1:00:31] have no such fear. You're available. Uh

[1:00:33] the availability is what generates the

[1:00:35] experience of play, the experience of

[1:00:38] light-heartedness, the experience of

[1:00:40] joy, the experience of connection,

[1:00:41] deeper connection, the experience of

[1:00:44] benefit being shared. And it is all

[1:00:46] still made up. It is an illusion. But

[1:00:50] it's made up of that which is

[1:00:52] substantial, which is source, that which

[1:00:54] is real, that which is lasting.

[1:00:58] Everything that comes and goes is

[1:00:59] created of that which does not come and

[1:01:02] go. That's why it's a play.

[1:01:06] Again, you cannot have objects without

[1:01:08] the space in which they arise.

[1:01:12] Similarly, you cannot have experiences

[1:01:16] without the space of consciousness in

[1:01:18] which they appear.

[1:01:21] The power due to which they are able to

[1:01:23] be known and appear.

[1:01:26] Appearances are inseparable, indivisible

[1:01:29] from source. The source of that is your

[1:01:31] isness. The very innermost core of I am

[1:01:36] is what projects these experiences. So

[1:01:38] when you align with that eternity

[1:01:44] either by living sourcefully andor

[1:01:46] meditating directly on source.

[1:01:52] You thus then deepen your alignment,

[1:01:54] your surrender, your devotion to the

[1:01:56] creator.

[1:01:58] And then the display changes of its own

[1:02:01] intelligence and you become one with

[1:02:04] that intelligence more and more. Less

[1:02:07] and less will you be speaking through

[1:02:09] your brain

[1:02:10] and more and more speaking just appears

[1:02:14] just like anything else appears.

[1:02:16] Speaking is just appearing. There's

[1:02:19] nobody doing the speaking anymore.

[1:02:21] You're so surrendered that source is

[1:02:23] talking and guiding and thinking and

[1:02:26] strategizing. All these things you

[1:02:28] thought you used to do. Now you're a

[1:02:31] witness to them appearing dancing in

[1:02:34] harmony with Dao with a sourceful

[1:02:37] intelligence that cannot be done can

[1:02:40] never be done can never be contrived.

[1:02:43] You cannot think your way into

[1:02:45] intelligence.

[1:02:46] You can only be intelligently

[1:02:50] and then intelligently thoughts will

[1:02:53] help play the game that you are here to

[1:02:55] play. When you're most available, that's

[1:02:57] when your inspirations come through.

[1:02:59] Right?

[1:03:01] When you believe that you are busy and

[1:03:02] occupied because you have wants, other

[1:03:04] wants than what is.

[1:03:07] Then you procrastinate. If you have no

[1:03:10] other wants, you cannot procrastinate.

[1:03:12] It doesn't exist. It's not a thing. It's

[1:03:14] a madeup thing. Procrastination is an

[1:03:17] artificial construct. It's in

[1:03:19] relationship to another reference point

[1:03:21] that's also an artificial construct

[1:03:24] which is based on another artificial

[1:03:26] construct.

[1:03:29] So if we drop into source, we give it

[1:03:31] all up. Just two to five seconds of

[1:03:33] total death.

[1:03:35] Just kill yourself psychologically.

[1:03:39] Come clean. Come undone into source. Say

[1:03:42] onto source. I am open and available.

[1:03:45] Thy will be done. If I do not know, I

[1:03:49] only know that I am and I am available.

[1:03:53] Come clean in that way. Become pure in

[1:03:56] that way every single day. Devote

[1:03:58] yourself, surrender yourself to source

[1:04:02] and its vision for an enlightened

[1:04:04] humanity.

[1:04:12] So then there's only two things left in

[1:04:13] your life of importance. The direct

[1:04:16] realization of source, the embodiment of

[1:04:18] source

[1:04:20] and its vision for your most relevant

[1:04:23] portion of the illusion

[1:04:26] which happens to be earth because that's

[1:04:29] currently your experience inside of the

[1:04:31] grand illusion of manifestation.

[1:04:34] And so resting as source and being 100%

[1:04:37] available to how that intelligence wants

[1:04:40] to show up.

[1:04:42] This is what I generally call the

[1:04:43] vision. You become the vision.

[1:04:48] The shepherd has become the vision. The

[1:04:50] mirror has become source.

[1:04:53] Either way, it's amazing.

[1:04:56] If you devote yourself to the vision,

[1:04:59] you'll become the vision. You'll

[1:05:01] transcend

[1:05:02] humanity.

[1:05:05] You'll transcend the idea of being a

[1:05:07] particular thing. Being human. You're no

[1:05:10] longer human. You've become the vision.

[1:05:12] That's why you can do extraordinary

[1:05:14] things from this state. That's why you

[1:05:15] can live an extraordinary life. That's

[1:05:18] where courage comes from. Nobody is

[1:05:21] actually more courageous than anyone

[1:05:23] else. Some beings are just more clear on

[1:05:25] what's true.

[1:05:28] When you're clear on what's true, your

[1:05:30] behavior changes and fear disappears. Or

[1:05:32] at least the relationship to the

[1:05:35] appearance of fear is changed.

[1:05:38] In essence, we're all as courageous as

[1:05:40] anyone else structurally speaking. But

[1:05:43] we're just ignorant of the truth of who

[1:05:46] we are. The more ignorant we are of the

[1:05:49] truth of who we are, the more afraid we

[1:05:52] are, the more that courage is dimmed.

[1:05:56] The more clear we are on who we are, the

[1:06:00] less fear we have, the less dimted we

[1:06:02] are. And thus then our expressions will

[1:06:04] seem more courageous, but they're not.

[1:06:06] We're just more clear.

[1:06:09] Therefore, there's less fear.

[1:06:12] Does this make sense?

[1:06:14] In other words, if you and this is the

[1:06:16] nature of compassion in a nutshell, if

[1:06:19] you had the exact same points of view,

[1:06:21] all the points of view that that other

[1:06:23] person has,

[1:06:25] you would behave and think and feel

[1:06:27] exactly as they do,

[1:06:30] no different.

[1:06:35] It's also the nature of equality,

[1:06:38] seeing that actually we're all in this

[1:06:40] together. And it's a matter of clearing

[1:06:42] out all our false points of view and

[1:06:45] coming undone, coming clean, devoting

[1:06:47] ourselves to the creator within

[1:06:50] everything,

[1:06:53] clearing out our closet.

[1:06:56] One of the fastest ways is to just state

[1:06:59] that you are ready.

[1:07:02] to just make yourself available for God

[1:07:04] to pick you up, to shake you out,

[1:07:08] to shower you,

[1:07:14] to empty you out, to break you wide

[1:07:16] open, to destroy your illusions, your

[1:07:18] hopes, your dreams, and say whatever it

[1:07:22] takes, whatever I need to die to,

[1:07:26] whatever dreams and hopes and false

[1:07:28] wants I need to let go God,

[1:07:32] thy will be done.

[1:07:37] And when we say that that's easier even

[1:07:39] though it's harder than living as you

[1:07:42] currently have is because things become

[1:07:45] singular instead of multiples.

[1:07:49] Instead of managing multiples, now

[1:07:52] you're managing. You're not managing.

[1:07:53] You're just you become singular in

[1:07:55] alignment. Alignment is singular.

[1:07:59] That's why it's simpler. It's why

[1:08:01] ultimately it's an easier choice.

[1:08:03] Imagine this. Actually visualize this

[1:08:05] right now. Because it's a very potent

[1:08:07] state change choice that you can make

[1:08:09] right now. Right now. Again, not two

[1:08:11] days from now. Don't see if you can't

[1:08:13] just understand what I'm saying and be

[1:08:16] like, "Oh, that's cool. Yes,

[1:08:19] maybe. Maybe if I practice it." See if

[1:08:21] you can actually get it now and shift it

[1:08:25] now.

[1:08:27] So imagine yourself as you have been

[1:08:29] living and as most people have been

[1:08:31] living on planet Earth.

[1:08:35] Chaotic,

[1:08:36] random,

[1:08:38] scattered

[1:08:40] monkey mind,

[1:08:42] unsatisfied,

[1:08:44] living for those two seconds per month

[1:08:47] of circumstantial perfection or success

[1:08:51] and living the rest of the hours and

[1:08:53] days.

[1:08:55] in this constant churning of wanting and

[1:08:58] wanting and wanting and needing and

[1:09:01] strategizing and wanting and trying.

[1:09:06] So take all your wants, feel

[1:09:12] briefly into all these secret hopes that

[1:09:16] you have again partnership,

[1:09:19] money,

[1:09:23] becoming a teacher, even being your

[1:09:26] fullest expression, even enlightenment.

[1:09:31] Take all your dreams and hopes for

[1:09:34] future fulfillment

[1:09:37] and see how much energy that has taken

[1:09:39] you every single hour of every single

[1:09:41] day to subconsciously

[1:09:43] be interacting

[1:09:45] with those games. See how much energy

[1:09:48] that takes from you. This is version A.

[1:09:51] Okay? See the insanity of humanity

[1:09:54] within yourself operational within your

[1:09:57] own self.

[1:09:58] See the insanity of humanity operational

[1:10:01] within your own mind. Your mind, mind

[1:10:04] you, has been the product of humanity's

[1:10:07] insanity. It's not original. It's not

[1:10:09] native to your blueprint intention for

[1:10:12] being here. It's not native to your

[1:10:14] calling. It's additional crap.

[1:10:19] So you can either live believing the

[1:10:22] believing that you're in need

[1:10:24] of this or that. Therefore, believing

[1:10:27] that what you want is this and this and

[1:10:30] this and this and this. What you prefer

[1:10:34] is that and this and such and so. And

[1:10:37] that therefore what you need to do is

[1:10:41] use all your time and energy and effort

[1:10:44] in unconscious and conscious ways.

[1:10:47] deliberate and non-eliberate ways,

[1:10:50] random and precise ways to figure out

[1:10:53] how to get that thing that you want.

[1:10:56] Those things that you want that never

[1:10:58] end. And even when you have it,

[1:11:02] you're not fulfilled.

[1:11:04] That is the insanity of humanity in the

[1:11:06] form of your own consciousness, your own

[1:11:08] mind. That's version A.

[1:11:14] may seem like an easy way to live

[1:11:16] because it's what you're doing

[1:11:17] currently. Everything we're doing

[1:11:19] currently, we don't feel takes effort,

[1:11:23] but you're wrong. You're just not seeing

[1:11:25] clearly how much effort it takes to do

[1:11:27] what you currently do, how much energy

[1:11:30] it expends doing what you currently do,

[1:11:33] believing what you currently believe.

[1:11:36] Version B

[1:11:40] is the entity

[1:11:43] of willingness.

[1:11:46] The version of you

[1:11:50] which is willing

[1:11:52] to come undone, to be undone,

[1:11:56] for God to reach into your body and mind

[1:11:59] and to split you wide open like the sea

[1:12:04] that Moses split

[1:12:06] and let all your come pouring out.

[1:12:12] surrendering, releasing, relinquishing

[1:12:14] your right to maintain your desires.

[1:12:20] Relinquishing your right

[1:12:23] to have any opinion of anything, have

[1:12:25] any preference towards anything, have

[1:12:26] any desire towards anything.

[1:12:29] Give up your right to want things.

[1:12:34] It may seem hard from what you're

[1:12:35] currently attached to, but imagine how

[1:12:38] easy it would be to live

[1:12:42] free, liberated of your very own

[1:12:44] desires.

[1:12:47] Imagine the state that would naturally

[1:12:50] arise

[1:12:52] when you don't want anymore what you

[1:12:55] want. The struggle is over. When you

[1:12:58] open up to God, to the creator, to

[1:13:00] source, to mother earth, whatever

[1:13:02] symbol, whatever representation,

[1:13:04] whatever word

[1:13:06] clicks for you the most, resonates for

[1:13:07] you the most, you all know what I mean,

[1:13:09] the one source.

[1:13:15] Imagine

[1:13:16] surrendering completely, laying all your

[1:13:19] hopes and fears and desires and

[1:13:21] preferences and safety concerns and

[1:13:24] wants and needs wide open on the table.

[1:13:28] and offer that entire table to the

[1:13:30] creator

[1:13:32] and say, "I no longer care what happens

[1:13:35] to me.

[1:13:38] You can have me. I'm yours. I'm your

[1:13:39] agent.

[1:13:41] I'm your vessel.

[1:13:44] I'm done struggling to want what I want

[1:13:46] and fight for my wants and maintain my

[1:13:48] wants which are all based on the belief

[1:13:50] that I lack what I lack that I'm not

[1:13:52] what I am

[1:13:55] that perfection is not innate in every

[1:13:57] moment.

[1:14:02] It's actually more tiring to continue

[1:14:05] and perpetuate version A than to just go

[1:14:08] through that one short painful blow of

[1:14:12] separating from all your wants,

[1:14:16] ripping the band-aid off instantly.

[1:14:22] Shaving may seem more appealing than

[1:14:24] waxing,

[1:14:27] but we all know the benefits of waxing

[1:14:30] versus shaving.

[1:14:37] So let God wax you of your fears.

[1:14:43] Let God wax you of your wants.

[1:14:47] Become 100% available to be a shepherd.

[1:14:50] Now

[1:14:53] allow the vision to operate through you

[1:14:55] with no attachment or idea of how it

[1:14:57] should look, what the outcome should be,

[1:14:59] when or how it should happen.

[1:15:02] Relinquish all when and all hows. And

[1:15:05] you'll be present and available to the

[1:15:07] joy that's already innate in every blade

[1:15:10] of grass, in every expression of a

[1:15:12] child, in every fear you've ever

[1:15:14] harbored. Joy is innate to all of

[1:15:17] existence. Bliss is the nature of

[1:15:20] phenomena. We're simply misconstring it.

[1:15:25] We're misperceiving it because we think

[1:15:28] something right now needs to be done

[1:15:31] about the perfection

[1:15:34] of life as it is.

[1:15:37] But if we rest in this perfection and we

[1:15:39] come undone, we let the creator operate

[1:15:42] through us.

[1:15:50] and our actions flow

[1:15:54] without premeditated purpose.

[1:15:58] That is intelligence.

[1:16:01] That is harmony.

[1:16:03] That is dao. That's nature. That's

[1:16:05] natural.

[1:16:08] It's not natural to want what you want.

[1:16:10] It's absolutely given to you.

[1:16:13] Ideas given to you generated the ones

[1:16:15] that you've identified with and then

[1:16:17] protected and defended. And

[1:16:20] empowerment usually

[1:16:25] is simply defense of the false self

[1:16:28] because we don't like how much other

[1:16:31] false selves get what they want and we

[1:16:33] don't.

[1:16:35] And their false selves are suppressing

[1:16:37] our false desires. So we should stand up

[1:16:41] for our false desires.

[1:16:44] and call it empowerment

[1:16:47] or equal rights

[1:16:53] or the gay parade

[1:16:56] or feminism

[1:17:00] or this or that, whatever new movement

[1:17:02] you can think of to protect and defend a

[1:17:05] false self

[1:17:07] and to make sure that other false selves

[1:17:09] don't get what they want too much.

[1:17:12] because you envy them.

[1:17:14] That's empowerment.

[1:17:19] I feel powerful in my right to want what

[1:17:21] I want,

[1:17:23] which has been given to you by false

[1:17:25] ideas that have been hurting you for

[1:17:29] dozens of years. Every single minute of

[1:17:32] every single hour of every single day,

[1:17:34] of every single week, of every single

[1:17:35] month, of every single year, of every

[1:17:37] single decade of your life thus far,

[1:17:40] they've been haunting you.

[1:17:42] And you're defending that and you call

[1:17:43] that empowerment.

[1:17:46] You might as well call it pain

[1:17:48] preservation.

[1:17:51] How pain preserved are you today? Well,

[1:17:53] really good.

[1:17:57] I stood up for my rights.

[1:18:00] I protested. Protested.

[1:18:05] Stop defending your wants. They're not

[1:18:07] important.

[1:18:09] You're not important.

[1:18:11] You're not even real.

[1:18:14] You're not a construct. Only source is.

[1:18:16] You see.

[1:18:24] So let only source be. Surrender to only

[1:18:26] source is.

[1:18:28] Don't want anything and see what

[1:18:29] happens. Start having fun. Start

[1:18:32] interacting. You start being authentic

[1:18:34] with no need to defend or protect or

[1:18:36] validate or empower or prove or show

[1:18:38] anything to anyone for any reason.

[1:18:41] Source now plays. Source plays.

[1:18:45] Source either is or it plays. It has no

[1:18:48] other mode to meditate and play.

[1:18:51] It is and it expresses. It knows itself

[1:18:55] and it expresses what it knows. What it

[1:18:57] is. That's all it's ever done for

[1:19:01] trillions of years or at least billions

[1:19:02] of years. This particular octave of

[1:19:05] creation, this particular octave of

[1:19:08] seven densities of evolution,

[1:19:12] all it's ever done is express the one

[1:19:15] infinite potential, the one infinite

[1:19:17] creator and everything it could ever

[1:19:20] possibly be in all the ways that it

[1:19:21] could ever possibly be and express

[1:19:23] itself

[1:19:25] to express itself in these infinite ways

[1:19:28] and through the process of expressing

[1:19:30] itself and manifesting the illusion of

[1:19:32] form. Thus then in that reflection, in

[1:19:34] that learning, in that engagement

[1:19:36] getting to know itself, awakening to

[1:19:38] itself. So now that you are at least

[1:19:41] relatively speaking awake

[1:19:44] to source,

[1:19:46] now that you know how it works, it's

[1:19:48] your duty to surrender to it. It's your

[1:19:50] honor. It's your joy. And I promise you,

[1:19:53] life becomes easy.

[1:19:57] Even when you've got more going on than

[1:19:59] you've ever had going on before, things

[1:20:01] that you cannot imagine, you can manage

[1:20:04] simultaneously,

[1:20:07] yet will be done easily and with a sense

[1:20:10] of brightness and joy and luminosity to

[1:20:12] it.

[1:20:15] You'll become Superman, Superwoman

[1:20:19] with no need to protect or defend any of

[1:20:21] your wants. The irony is that when we

[1:20:24] surrender what we want, we're empowered.

[1:20:27] We think empowerment is defending what

[1:20:29] we want, standing up for what we want.

[1:20:31] Actually, it's giving up what you want.

[1:20:34] That is empowering.

[1:20:37] That requires faith.

[1:20:39] That requires trust.

[1:20:56] So, um, yep. Okay.

[1:21:02] No more ones. So, no more instructions.

[1:21:06] But we could we could gather if we

[1:21:07] wanted to. We could gather here in half

[1:21:08] an hour.

[1:21:11] If you don't want, then I won't see you.

[1:21:13] If you do want, then I will see you.

[1:21:14] Unless I don't want, then you'll see

[1:21:16] each other. not me.

[1:21:19] But you won't want me to be here. If you

[1:21:21] really get this, even if I wouldn't show

[1:21:23] up for the rest of the retreat, you

[1:21:25] wouldn't want anything out of that to

[1:21:27] change.

[1:21:29] You see, you think it'd be empowering to

[1:21:32] maybe go talk to management and say, "I

[1:21:34] want a refund because this is what I

[1:21:35] wanted and what I signed up for, and I'm

[1:21:38] stepping into my power by defending that

[1:21:39] and getting a refund." Well, you could

[1:21:41] do that, too.

[1:21:43] But if it didn't show up, what would be

[1:21:44] truly empowering would be if you did not

[1:21:47] give a

[1:21:49] Where the play would maintain

[1:21:51] uninterrupted. Where the meditation

[1:21:52] would be uninterrupted. Where the

[1:21:54] beingness and the expressiveness, the

[1:21:58] freedom, the spontaneity, the

[1:21:59] intelligence that operates through you

[1:22:01] would be undiluted

[1:22:07] where it would not make a difference if

[1:22:09] I'm here or not.

[1:22:13] That's how you know you got it. That's

[1:22:15] how you know you've made the state

[1:22:17] change and you're not postponing the

[1:22:19] change. You've actually made it. You've

[1:22:22] actually decided that you are source.

[1:22:25] You don't need it from anyone. You don't

[1:22:27] need it from any object. You don't need

[1:22:29] it from pleasure. You don't need it from

[1:22:32] safety. You are it. If you are it, you

[1:22:36] don't need it.

[1:22:38] You don't need to be safe to be source.

[1:22:42] You can be absolutely unsafe in process

[1:22:45] of being raped, tortured, killed,

[1:22:46] murdered, and forgotten for eternity.

[1:22:49] You would still be source. It wouldn't

[1:22:51] change a damn thing about being sores.

[1:22:54] You don't need to be saring at all to

[1:22:57] preserve your safety,

[1:23:01] to maintain security, to avoid pain, and

[1:23:05] chase after pleasure. It's not at all

[1:23:07] empowering. What's empowering is like

[1:23:11] Krishna Muri said, "My secret is I do

[1:23:13] not mind what happens."

[1:23:16] That's empowering.

[1:23:20] Be so free that you don't even care

[1:23:22] about your happiness level right now.

[1:23:25] Be that free and I guarantee you'll be

[1:23:27] happy. That's just a natural expression

[1:23:30] of freedom is happiness.

[1:23:33] But you can't accumulate it by caring

[1:23:35] about it. So if you get this, the change

[1:23:38] has been done and you know you are

[1:23:40] source even before you get to safety

[1:23:43] before you reach the perfect partnership

[1:23:46] before you get the money.

[1:23:50] And you'd still be it if you never get

[1:23:51] it. You are source now. Not once you're

[1:23:55] safe. Not once you're rich. Not once

[1:23:58] you're happy. Not once you're in a

[1:24:00] relationship. You are source now. Not if

[1:24:03] I'm on stage.

[1:24:06] You are source. If I'm on stage or not,

[1:24:08] whether I'm speaking or not, you are

[1:24:09] source. There's nothing in the world of

[1:24:11] appearances that can change that.

[1:24:13] There's nothing period that can change

[1:24:15] that in any world.

[1:24:20] If you get this, you get this. Get it?

[1:24:26] Cool. So, I may or may not be here in

[1:24:28] about 25 minutes.

[1:24:30] [Applause]

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

In the video he describes an 'isness' or 'I am' that is prior to the mind, 'the eye from where you see, the eye from where you hear, the eye from where you think. But it's before the thinker.' He presents it as what remains when description, assumption, and continuity are removed, not as a belief or a conclusion.
Massaro asks for a 'full stop' lasting five to ten seconds, done intensely and repeated several times a day, with attention resting in the 'I am' rather than in description. He says the mind will protest and that discomfort should be rested with until it dissolves.
He uses a thought experiment in which stopping thought would be necessary for survival. His argument is that if you could do it under that kind of necessity, the capacity exists, so 'I cannot stop thinking' is really a statement about motivation. He says the same logic applies to anything.
Massaro compares thought's continuity to a string running through a necklace of pearls, which are stories and descriptions. Cutting the thread with a full stop makes the pearls fall away, and the stories lose their believability because they no longer appear connected.
Strategy means learning how things work, predicting them, and navigating around the predictions. Massaro contrasts this with success that comes from an original state, which he describes as intuitive, spontaneous, and intelligent, and which he says cannot be engineered through prediction.
He says the seeds of manipulation grow from the notion 'I am lacking something now.' He proposes that resolving that idea lets a sense of wholeness replace lack, so that abundance and generosity replace the need to get something from others. He suggests trying, for a day, not to get anything from anyone.
The video runs about 84 minutes and opens mid-instruction, assuming familiarity with terms like isness and source. Newcomers may get more from it by watching in short segments and trying the stopping practice between them rather than watching straight through.
