BrightStar is not simply a ticketing and event management platform—it is a manifestation of a profound vision. Founded by Akal Sahai Khalsa, BrightStar exists to serve the Divine and uplift humanity. The platform, which began as a way to support artists, musicians, healers, teachers, and event organizers, has since grown into a global network that connects spiritual seekers across the world. The vision behind BrightStar blends two decades of expertise in the mind-body-spirit genre with a deep commitment to fostering unity and consciousness.
Akal Sahai Khalsa, the Founder and CEO of BrightStar, has spent over twenty years immersed in the global consciousness movement. His journey began as the Tour Manager for sacred chant artist Snatam Kaur, a role he held for over a decade. During this time, Akal not only gained invaluable experience in event promotion and artist support but also developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of spiritual communities. These experiences, coupled with his lifelong dedication to Eastern internal arts and healing practices, laid the foundation for what would eventually become BrightStar.
BrightStar was co-founded by Akal's father, GuruGanesha Khalsa, a revered sacred chant artist and the founder of Spirit Voyage Records. GuruGanesha's musical legacy and his unwavering commitment to sharing the teachings of sacred music provided the spiritual framework for BrightStar's mission. Together, Akal and GuruGanesha's vision for BrightStar was built on the idea that sacred work, in all its forms, deserves a platform that nurtures, amplifies, and connects.
What began as a way to serve spiritual communities by helping them share their work has blossomed into something much greater. BrightStar has become a beacon for conscious creators, a place where artists and spiritual leaders can thrive, and where those who seek healing, wisdom, and connection can find them. At its core, BrightStar is about the intersection of artistry and spirituality—creating a space where both can coexist, evolve, and inspire.
Today, BrightStar continues to serve as a bridge between creators and their communities. Through its platform, event organizers can manage everything from ticketing to promotion while remaining true to their mission of healing and transformation. With a focus on conscious collaboration and an unwavering dedication to uplifting global consciousness, BrightStar remains true to the vision Akal and GuruGanesha set in motion over a decade ago.
