Daggers and Poems: Art as a Tool for Cultural Healing

Ayla Nereo

What numbs us into silence? What programs run so deep in our culture that we forget to feel, to care, to act on behalf of those we love? These are the questions animating a conversation about art, healing, and the masculine and feminine principles that shape our world—questions asked not from an academic distance but from the trembling center of someone watching her two-year-old daughter grow into a world still broken by violence and indifference.

The call is direct: for those who identify as creatives, this is a moment to step fully into renaissance. Not as decoration, not as escape, but as alchemy. The dagger and the poem—the quill and the notebook—are not ornaments. They are tools of cultural resurrection.

What Does True Healing Look Like?

There is a long history, as Ayla Nereo acknowledges, of women being abused and manipulated with few consequences for those who cause the harm. The question that emerges from this rupture is not rhetorical: What does healing actually mean? Not in theory, but in practice, in the body, in the field we create together?

Nereo sits with this without offering easy answers. There is a recognition that the prison system does not serve healing, and yet harm cannot be left unaddressed. There is a need for justice that honors both accountability and transformation. This is the double helix of authentic repair—the recognition that healing is not forgiveness, and forgiveness is not the absence of consequence.

Central to this work is what Nereo calls "aliveness." Numbness is the mechanism by which culture keeps us complicit. We are fed inputs of toxicity, distorted sexuality, substances that dull our nerve endings. When we are numb, we cannot feel others' pain. When we cannot feel, we cannot act. When we do not act, the machinery of harm continues uninterrupted. Aliveness, by contrast, is a revolutionary state: it makes us feel, it creates empathy, it propels us into action.

Where Are the Men's Voices?

Woven through the conversation is a particular grief: the silence of good men. Not bad men—good men, men Nereo knows, who have chosen not to speak in defense of women, who have allowed rape culture and atrocities to unfold without their voice in the room. What makes us go silent? What part of us accepts the programs that tell us not to care?

The invitation here is not accusatory but diagnostic. To men watching, the question is: "What parts of you are too numb to feel? Please heal those parts." To fathers of daughters: these are your daughters. To fathers of sons: your son is watching what you do and what you don't do. That is teaching your son what is acceptable and what is not. Culture is transmitted through the nervous system of the family, through gesture and presence as much as words.

But there is also a benediction: "If you are a man watching this and you're speaking up about this, bless you. From the depths of my heart, bless you." The recognition of men who do step forward is as important as the call to those who have not. The work is not to wage war on the masculine but to heal it—to call it back into balance, into protectorship rooted in love rather than dominance.

The War of the Sexes Is a Program

Nereo names something crucial: the battle between masculine and feminine is not organic; it is strategically implanted. It is a construct, a program. And when we battle each other across this false divide, we are fighting ourselves, because both the masculine and feminine live within each of us. To wage war outwardly is to abuse ourselves inwardly. To call men and women into dialogue, to create art that uplifts across the gender divide, is to begin reclaiming wholeness.

"If we battle each other, we're battling ourselves," she says. The healing of the divine masculine and feminine within each person is not separate from the healing of culture—it is the seed of it. As within, so without. The work we do in our own bodies and relationships ripples into the field powerfully.

Art as a Form of Resistance and Remembrance

A video released alongside this conversation—for the song "Piper," also called "Dagger and a Poem"—was shot at a regenerative farm. There are organic local foods on the table, old books, pieces of art being created in the moment. This is not accident; it is statement. The setting embodies what the message speaks: that creativity happens in the context of regeneration, of rooted, nourished community.

As artists, the call is to use the dagger and the poem to shift culture. To pull out the quill and the notebook and speak. To create beauty, to create forms that remind us of what it means to be whole. So much of the harm happening in the world stems from the fact that people are given only toxic inputs: distorted sexuality, drugs that numb, a diet of images designed to fragment and diminish. Art that heals offers a different input. It says: this is what beauty is. This is what aliveness feels like. This is what love means.

What Does It Mean to Embody the Future Now?

The question posed at the start of this conversation—"How do we embody the healed wholeness we want for the future?"—is not asking us to wait. It is asking: what do you choose to allow through? What do you anchor in your being as a pillar of possibility? This is not manifestation in the sense of passive wishfulness. It is embodiment as practice.

Nereo speaks of planting seeds of vision in each other's eyes and hearts. Of recognizing that we have the desire to be better, to create better, and that this desire itself is the beginning. The greatest discipline is not willpower or abstinence; it is the practice of attuning to the field and asking: Am I having empathy? Am I in alignment? Am I letting the love come through me for the good of all?

The invitation is not to wait for external change. It is to recognize that the field we create—through our presence, our choices, our art, our willingness to feel and speak—is the world we are offering to those who come after us. "Are we giving them beauty? Are we giving them joy?" The question assumes responsibility. It assumes that what we create now is the inheritance we leave.

A Call to Creative Action

For those who identify as creatives, the moment is specific. This is not a time to retreat into personal expression for its own sake. This is a time to recognize that your art is medicine, that your vision is a seed, that the beauty you make ripples into a culture starved for images of wholeness. The dagger cuts through false narratives. The poem holds what needs to be named. Together, they are a form of cultural surgery and cultural love.

The work happens at multiple scales: through art that reaches millions, through conversations in councils, through the healing of relationships in your own home. But it is not fragmented work—it is the same work, the same intention to call each other forward, to refuse numbness, to remember aliveness, to anchor wholeness.

The closing gesture is one of gratitude and invitation: comment below your visions for humanity. Comment below what you want to create. Share what helps you balance, align, and come into wholeness. We do this together. The field is not something we observe; it is something we create, moment by moment, choice by choice, with each act of courage, each poem, each dagger aimed at injustice, each song sung in protest and remembrance and hope.

Where to Go From Here

Begin by asking yourself: where am I numb? What part of me has accepted the programs of indifference? Then ask: what aliveness wants to move through me? What creative expression has been waiting? If you are a man, consider what it means to speak up, to lead, to protect the women and daughters in your world. If you are a woman, call your brothers forward. If you are a parent, recognize that you are teaching the next generation what is acceptable through every choice you make and do not make. Consider creating or supporting art that heals, that reminds us of wholeness, that shifts culture toward balance. Start a conversation. Tend to your own healing, knowing that as within, so without. The future is not something to wait for—it is something to embody now.

[0:09] Right. We're back.

[0:13] I'm going to wait a moment for people to

[0:15] join.

[0:19] There was an interesting thing happening

[0:22] in the other live, which was

[0:24] um an unprecedented number of trolls

[0:27] >> [laughter]

[0:27] >> showed up. And it was incredibly

[0:29] distracting. So, I decided to end and

[0:31] start a new one.

[0:34] So,

[0:36] hopefully

[0:37] people find this.

[0:39] >> [laughter]

[0:40] >> And I'm going to just

[0:42] um

[0:43] begin and

[0:45] as you come on, just

[0:48] let me know where you're coming from and

[0:52] what's alive in your heart right now.

[0:55] Cuz I would like to

[0:57] be in dialogue

[0:59] as a community and

[1:02] I'm just going to do a short live today,

[1:04] probably 10 minutes and

[1:06] share a bit about

[1:10] some of the exciting things that are

[1:11] unfolding and also some of the painful

[1:14] things that are unfolding.

[1:16] And what does it mean to heal? And what

[1:17] does it mean to use art

[1:19] to

[1:21] make a shift,

[1:23] to make positive change and to

[1:26] influence each other in ways that

[1:31] that call us, that call us into our

[1:34] higher potential as humans, that call us

[1:37] into our greatness.

[1:40] What does it mean

[1:42] to do that?

[1:45] Um many of you know what the many things

[1:48] that are going on in the world

[1:52] that are horrific and that call

[1:55] the very safety of women into question.

[2:00] There's a shared experience among women

[2:03] right now also of wondering where are

[2:05] the men's voices? What happened to the

[2:07] protectorship of the masculine?

[2:12] There are some noble men out there who

[2:14] are speaking up in these times

[2:18] against

[2:20] the abuses of women, against

[2:24] rape culture,

[2:26] against

[2:30] so many atrocities that are happening.

[2:35] And there are so many men's voices that

[2:36] are silent.

[2:38] And these are good men. These are men I

[2:40] know.

[2:43] And what makes us go silent is something

[2:46] I've been sitting with.

[2:49] What numbs us out so much?

[2:52] The programs that run in our culture

[2:57] that tell us

[3:00] to not care.

[3:02] The programs that run just for the

[3:04] purpose of numbing us from our own

[3:06] feeling.

[3:12] And how do we reclaim our aliveness in

[3:14] that way? How do we bring each other

[3:17] back and call each other in?

[3:29] I'm grateful for you being here

[3:31] and being part of this moment.

[3:34] I'm grateful to the care in this

[3:35] community, to the love, to the desire to

[3:40] to be better,

[3:42] to call each other in and forward in

[3:44] these times.

[3:48] We have a long history

[3:54] that I won't go into, as we know.

[3:58] A long history of

[4:00] people, um particularly women, being

[4:04] abused, manipulated,

[4:06] and there not being many ramifications

[4:11] for the

[4:12] most often men that cause that abuse.

[4:18] What does healing really look like?

[4:22] I don't know.

[4:23] And I put this question to this

[4:26] community.

[4:27] I would love to hear in the comments of

[4:29] this video

[4:31] and in the chat.

[4:38] We are fractal.

[4:41] It was very interesting

[4:44] to be embarked on this particular

[4:46] live stream in the last version. I

[4:49] restarted this because there were so

[4:51] many trolls.

[4:53] And

[4:55] they were pretty offensive.

[4:58] They were probably all men.

[5:02] And I'm not saying anything. I'm not I

[5:04] love men. I just [laughter] want to

[5:06] clarify that.

[5:07] I

[5:09] believe

[5:10] in men.

[5:11] I believe in the healing of men.

[5:15] And I love men.

[5:17] And there's a huge distortion.

[5:21] And I am curious when more of these men

[5:24] are going to speak up

[5:27] to make a world that's safe

[5:29] for me, for my women,

[5:32] for our daughters.

[5:34] I have a 2-year-old daughter.

[5:37] >> [snorts]

[5:39] >> And we need a world that's safe for our

[5:41] daughters.

[5:48] So, if you're a woman watching this,

[5:50] call your men forward. Call your

[5:52] brothers forward.

[5:54] >> [snorts]

[5:55] >> If you're a man watching this and you're

[5:56] speaking up about this, bless you.

[5:59] From the depths of my heart, bless you.

[6:03] Bless you for speaking up.

[6:06] For being a leader.

[6:07] For being a protector in these times,

[6:09] bless you.

[6:11] >> [snorts]

[6:11] >> Bless your leadership.

[6:15] And if you are a man watching this and

[6:18] you're not speaking up, please ask

[6:20] yourself why.

[6:23] What parts of you are too numb to feel?

[6:27] Please heal those parts.

[6:32] If you're a father of a daughter,

[6:35] >> [snorts]

[6:36] >> please feel.

[6:39] These are your daughters.

[6:43] If you're the father of a son, your son

[6:45] is watching how you react.

[6:47] >> [snorts]

[6:47] >> Your son is watching what you're doing

[6:48] right now.

[6:50] And what you're not doing.

[6:51] >> [snorts]

[6:52] >> And that is teaching our sons

[6:55] what's acceptable

[6:57] and what's not.

[7:00] >> [sighs]

[7:05] >> And perhaps this is how we alchemize it.

[7:11] By speaking what's needed

[7:15] and by being.

[7:17] >> [snorts]

[7:17] >> You know, some of speaking is speaking

[7:19] to our wider communities and using

[7:21] social media platforms and using spaces

[7:23] like this.

[7:27] And some of it is talking to your

[7:29] brothers, talking to your sisters.

[7:32] Starting a council for how to make the

[7:34] world a safer place.

[7:41] Yeah, there's a beautiful comment in

[7:42] here from a father of three sons and

[7:44] three daughters.

[7:45] >> [snorts]

[7:46] >> Matt, welcome. Thank you for being um

[7:50] on the path

[7:51] and recognizing that yes, we are we are

[7:54] in a process of the pendulum swinging

[7:56] back to the balanced man, as you put it,

[7:59] and I feel that.

[8:00] And I believe in that.

[8:02] And I also believe what you're saying

[8:04] here, that

[8:06] as with any healing process, right? As

[8:09] within, so without, the healing has to

[8:11] come to the surface so that we

[8:14] can address it.

[8:16] And it's horrific, and it's painful.

[8:19] And it must be seen.

[8:23] And also

[8:25] what does it mean to see it, and what

[8:26] are we doing with that?

[8:28] And is it catalyzing us into some form

[8:30] of action?

[8:37] What does justice look like?

[8:41] When people harm people, what does

[8:43] justice look like?

[8:49] I'm not a believer in the prison system.

[8:52] I'm also not a believer

[8:55] in true harm being let off.

[8:59] And I am very curious about what true

[9:02] healing looks like.

[9:06] >> [snorts]

[9:11] >> And as artists you know, part of this

[9:15] topic today is

[9:18] how does art create change?

[9:22] As my friend Roxy said, we sing for the

[9:25] millions of victims.

[9:29] We dance through the devastation

[9:31] of how this might even show up in our

[9:33] own

[9:34] life, personally.

[9:42] And I'm seeing in the chat, I'm so glad

[9:45] I restarted this. I got the trolls out

[9:47] of the room.

[9:48] Because I'm seeing in the in the chat

[9:51] just such beautiful reflections from you

[9:54] all that are giving me such hope.

[9:56] Of experiences

[10:00] that people are having

[10:05] where there's healing happening.

[10:09] Where women and men are in dialogue and

[10:11] where we are helping each other.

[10:17] Um

[10:19] There's so much going on right now

[10:20] personally as well as collectively,

[10:22] right? As within, so without.

[10:26] And

[10:30] so much healing in our relationships.

[10:34] So much healing

[10:35] in ourselves.

[10:39] The healing of the divine masculine and

[10:41] feminine within each of us.

[10:45] What does it mean to come into balance?

[10:49] To be in alignment.

[10:55] And I do believe that the healing work

[10:57] we do within

[10:59] ripples into the field powerfully.

[11:05] Um

[11:07] >> [snorts]

[11:09] >> And on the note of art shifting culture

[11:13] there's a beautiful suggestion in the

[11:15] chat on here would love to hear more

[11:17] music from men uplifting women and women

[11:20] uplifting men.

[11:21] Yes.

[11:23] Cuz that's part of the healing.

[11:27] The war of the sexes is a very

[11:30] strategically implanted

[11:33] construct a program.

[11:36] And

[11:38] we don't I mean, if we battle each

[11:41] other, we're battling ourselves, right?

[11:44] Because the masculine and feminine are

[11:46] within us.

[11:48] We are at war with ourselves.

[11:51] We are abusing ourselves.

[11:54] We are not calling ourselves

[11:56] forward. We are not calling ourselves

[11:58] into balance.

[12:01] That's a beautiful vision and

[12:04] actually something that's being worked

[12:06] on

[12:06] >> [laughter]

[12:07] >> with me and a collaborator right now as

[12:08] well.

[12:12] Yeah.

[12:16] And

[12:17] where does the alchemy get to happen?

[12:21] >> [snorts]

[12:24] >> This video that's coming out tomorrow

[12:27] is for the song Piper, which is also

[12:30] called Dagger and a Poem.

[12:33] And it's a reclamation of

[12:36] our joy and our artistry and remembering

[12:39] what brings us alive.

[12:40] Not numbing out, being alive.

[12:45] Aliveness makes us feel. Aliveness makes

[12:49] us

[12:51] have empathy with others. Aliveness

[12:55] Aliveness propels us into action. It

[12:57] lights fires in us.

[13:01] This whole video

[13:04] was shot at a regenerative farm

[13:08] with organic local food on the table,

[13:12] books, old books,

[13:14] pieces of art people were creating in

[13:16] the moment.

[13:19] It's a call

[13:21] for us, those of us who identify as

[13:23] creatives, to step fully into this

[13:25] moment of renaissance.

[13:28] How do we create change

[13:32] through art? How do we shift culture

[13:34] through art?

[13:41] We pull out our daggers and our poems.

[13:46] The quill

[13:47] and the notebook.

[13:50] We speak.

[13:52] We create. We create beauty. We create

[13:57] forms that remind us of what it means to

[14:00] be a whole human. Because so much of why

[14:04] all these things are happening are

[14:05] because people are only given inputs of

[14:08] distortion.

[14:10] They're given inputs of toxicity,

[14:13] distorted sexuality,

[14:18] drugs that numb us,

[14:21] a whole culture that makes that look

[14:23] cool.

[14:28] And we're not being given enough

[14:31] inspiration

[14:33] and imagery

[14:37] that brings us to our deep aliveness.

[14:41] What it means to feel.

[14:42] What it means to love. What it means to

[14:45] be raw. What it means to be imperfect.

[14:50] What it means to be healing. What it

[14:52] means to be in pain.

[14:54] And how do we feel each other?

[15:06] So,

[15:09] what's your way?

[15:11] I'd love to hear in the chat. I'd love

[15:12] to hear in the comments.

[15:14] What's your form of art? And that

[15:16] doesn't mean that you need to write a

[15:18] song or a book or anything. It doesn't

[15:20] have to be art is life.

[15:23] We are all artists. Being human means to

[15:26] be creative.

[15:29] What are you creating?

[15:31] What do you want to create?

[15:34] What wants to come through you

[15:36] that can help us remember our aliveness?

[15:46] What do you want to create? What wants

[15:49] to come through you

[15:51] that helps us remember our unity?

[15:54] That we're not separate.

[16:04] That's beautiful. Breath work

[16:07] and oration

[16:09] is your genius and art. That's

[16:10] beautiful.

[16:12] Gardens. Mhm.

[16:16] Dreaming a new dream.

[16:19] Dreaming a new dream.

[16:21] Planting the seeds of vision in each

[16:23] other. This is the

[16:25] whole theme of reimagination. What does

[16:28] it mean to have the imagination, to

[16:30] dream the dream, to seed the vision, to

[16:33] create from that so that we all can

[16:36] hear, see, taste, feel each other's

[16:39] visions

[16:40] and have

[16:41] new input

[16:43] with which to

[16:45] anchor our vision with and align with

[16:49] rather than all of the

[16:51] programs

[16:53] that want us to believe in something

[16:55] dystopic, that want us to believe in

[16:57] violence, that want us to keep feeding

[17:00] that machine of forgetting, of numbing.

[17:03] No.

[17:05] We are the creators. We are the artists.

[17:10] It's up to us to create the field that

[17:14] we are living into.

[17:23] >> Dagger in a poem is a song for the

[17:26] passion of life.

[17:32] It's a song for dancing with our own

[17:35] shadows so that we can be whole.

[17:40] And the way the video turned out

[17:43] changing very last minute through my own

[17:45] initiatory process that the video and

[17:47] this this album was calling me forward

[17:49] into.

[17:53] It ended up being a whole

[17:55] transmission of claiming our seat at the

[17:57] table.

[18:01] We're all alive.

[18:03] We're all doing this.

[18:06] But sometimes we can't see each other

[18:08] cuz we're caught in something else.

[18:12] And claiming our seat at the table of

[18:14] this renaissance means that we open our

[18:16] eyes and we see we are enough.

[18:19] We are all geniuses. We all have art. We

[18:22] are all creative. We all have a piece of

[18:25] this puzzle.

[18:28] And so we unwind those programs that

[18:30] keep us small, that keep us believing

[18:33] that we don't have a voice.

[18:36] Oh, I only only 100 people follow me. I

[18:38] don't really have a platform. No, you

[18:40] have 100 people that are listening to

[18:42] you.

[18:43] That's huge.

[18:45] And it doesn't I'm not even a fan of

[18:48] social media. I don't even go on there

[18:50] that much.

[18:51] Rarely ever right now.

[18:55] And these are platforms.

[18:58] And we get to influence. And I'm

[19:00] actually being called to speak

[19:02] and share more in there because

[19:04] if we have the ability

[19:08] to give our voice to share our truth

[19:12] to come from a place of deep integration

[19:15] of our own internal healing

[19:17] and then share something from that place

[19:20] that could be beneficial to even one

[19:21] person.

[19:24] That is an opportunity.

[19:27] You can say yes or no to the

[19:29] opportunity.

[19:30] But it is an opportunity.

[19:35] To have one conversation, to call a

[19:37] council of your brothers together to

[19:40] talk about how to make a safer world.

[19:43] To call a council of sisters together

[19:47] to share.

[19:53] And so what do we want to create?

[19:59] What do we want to build?

[20:01] What are we aiming for?

[20:03] Speak that more.

[20:05] Share that more.

[20:07] Live it more.

[20:09] How do we live into the future that we

[20:13] believe is possible?

[20:15] What kind of a human

[20:17] lives there?

[20:18] When you dream the most beautiful

[20:22] potential of humanity

[20:24] and the future that you know is possible

[20:27] or that you want to believe is possible,

[20:29] what kind of human

[20:31] is there?

[20:33] What's their level of compassion?

[20:35] What's their level of integration?

[20:38] What personal practices do they have?

[20:40] How do you imagine they talk? How do you

[20:42] imagine they think?

[20:44] What do they fill their field with?

[20:48] And can we each step more into that

[20:52] version?

[20:53] Because

[20:54] when we do that we are

[20:57] anchoring

[20:58] the future into the present.

[21:01] These are all the principles of

[21:02] manifestation

[21:04] which are often applied to getting that

[21:07] dream job, dream home, dream

[21:09] relationship. What happens when we

[21:12] put all of our energy, those same

[21:14] principles, law of attraction, embodying

[21:18] what can be as a way of calling it in,

[21:21] and we apply that towards the future

[21:23] human?

[21:26] Towards the future

[21:27] for our next generations that we want to

[21:30] build and create.

[21:32] Yes.

[21:34] I'm seeing in the chat discipline,

[21:36] massive discipline.

[21:38] The greatest discipline

[21:39] that I've found is

[21:42] is how I show up. How I think.

[21:46] What thoughts I'm allowing

[21:48] in my field. What judgments,

[21:52] what patterns are still running.

[21:55] Am I letting them run things?

[21:59] Or am I choosing something different?

[22:02] Am I clearing the mind? Am I being

[22:04] available to what wants to come through?

[22:09] Am I attuning to the field? Am I having

[22:11] compassion

[22:14] even with the ones that it is hardest to

[22:17] be compassionate to?

[22:21] The boys who cause harm

[22:25] have been failed by our culture.

[22:30] Yes, there need to be strong

[22:32] repercussions, and also

[22:36] our culture shaped these boys.

[22:40] We need to do better.

[22:43] And we do better by being better.

[22:47] And we do better by speaking,

[22:50] speaking up.

[22:53] Especially to our own groups.

[22:58] If it's something

[22:59] that the women need to hear, it is the

[23:01] most powerful for women to speak to

[23:03] women.

[23:04] If it's something that the men need to

[23:06] hear and shift, it is the most powerful

[23:08] for men to speak to men.

[23:14] And apply that to any group,

[23:16] any identity.

[23:23] And so,

[23:24] I feel this is part of that

[23:26] self-responsibility. It shows up in our

[23:28] personal relationships. Where are we

[23:29] taking personal responsibility for what

[23:31] shows up?

[23:34] Where are we blaming?

[23:38] And how do we shift that? Cuz I don't

[23:39] believe the future human is doing that.

[23:44] How do I shift that in myself?

[23:56] And so, this whole movement

[24:00] and then I'll close here.

[24:02] And if there's any comments or questions

[24:04] that anyone wants to leave in the chat,

[24:05] please do. If there's any

[24:07] comments or questions that anyone wants

[24:09] to leave in below this video, if you're

[24:12] watching the replay, please do.

[24:16] Um

[24:22] This whole movement

[24:24] of sovereign kin

[24:27] that Dream Waters is part of

[24:29] that reimagination is within.

[24:33] This is a movement of shifting our

[24:35] culture

[24:37] in a way that reconnects us to what is

[24:39] sacred. What is most sacred?

[24:44] What connects us? How do we use our life

[24:47] force? How are we allowing our true life

[24:49] force to guide us, not the distortions?

[24:53] How are we honoring the elements within

[24:55] and without?

[24:58] How are we creating a where women are

[25:00] safe

[25:01] and respected,

[25:03] where men are respected,

[25:07] where we feel safe as mothers,

[25:11] of daughters,

[25:15] where men feel in their true power

[25:18] and honored for that,

[25:22] where all people are held in reverence,

[25:25] being a sacred part of this web of life,

[25:30] and all beings are held in reverence.

[25:35] Because we understand that we are made

[25:37] of the elements and nature

[25:40] is our life.

[25:44] And mother nature

[25:48] is the greatest

[25:52] the greatest path of service, protecting

[25:55] the mother that gives us life,

[25:58] protecting the mothers.

[26:03] Protecting our holy

[26:05] divine

[26:06] mother nature

[26:09] is protecting life.

[26:21] So, I would love to hear

[26:24] We're going to close this.

[26:26] What I would love to hear from you in

[26:28] the comments

[26:30] below this video,

[26:34] what do you dream?

[26:36] What are you dreaming

[26:38] for this world we are heading towards?

[26:40] What do you want to see?

[26:42] What wants to come through you?

[26:45] What do you want to create?

[26:49] And how do you want to embody

[26:51] that future now.

[26:54] To be a pillar in these times anchoring

[26:57] it in.

[27:02] And even if it's not totally clear,

[27:05] it's helpful for us to just hear from

[27:07] each other.

[27:10] Even if it's not

[27:12] totally being embodied, which I know I'm

[27:14] not totally embodying it.

[27:17] It's still helpful to just speak it.

[27:21] To name that we have the desire

[27:25] to be in more alignment.

[27:30] As Casey wrote in the comments here,

[27:31] creating the most beautiful garden in

[27:33] the world every day. Absolutely.

[27:39] And the garden within.

[27:42] How are we tending the garden within?

[27:45] The garden of our personal

[27:46] relationships.

[27:48] Are we watering them?

[27:50] Are we giving them beauty? Are we

[27:51] tending them?

[27:54] The gardens of our communities.

[27:56] How are we taking care

[27:58] of each other?

[28:00] And our global garden.

[28:03] This earth garden.

[28:06] That feeds us and gives us life.

[28:08] How do we take care of what gives us

[28:10] life?

[28:11] How do we take care of our own

[28:12] aliveness?

[28:14] And how do we

[28:17] take our seat at the table as creators

[28:20] to let through inspiration

[28:23] that creates more aliveness?

[28:27] More truth.

[28:29] And more love in this world.

[28:34] Thank you to everyone here

[28:37] for the beautiful ways that you choose

[28:38] to show up in your life.

[28:43] Mhm.

[28:45] I've been calling this a tea session, so

[28:47] I will toast to that.

[28:52] To the listening for something greater

[28:55] that wants to move through us and the

[28:56] bravery of getting out of our own way.

[29:01] So, that that greater mission and that

[29:03] greater

[29:04] presence, purpose, and aliveness can

[29:06] come through us for the good of all

[29:08] humanity and all life.

[29:15] Bless you all.

[29:19] I love you.

[29:20] Tomorrow is the release of the Piper

[29:22] music video.

[29:25] I'm excited to be offering something of

[29:28] beauty in these times.

[29:30] Something

[29:32] that is a transmission of passion and

[29:35] joy,

[29:37] resilience, artistry,

[29:40] regenerative

[29:42] food systems,

[29:44] beautiful humanity,

[29:47] loving one another.

[29:53] So,

[29:55] thank you so much. I love you.

[29:58] I'll see you next time. Pop any

[30:00] questions in the comments and I'll try

[30:02] to get to them next time.

[30:04] And

[30:06] I'm so grateful

[30:08] to be in community with you all in this

[30:10] way, in this virtual way.

[30:12] I hope our paths cross in the real at

[30:13] some point.

[30:16] Very inspired by some of the words. I

[30:19] can't read all of them, but um

[30:21] this chai is really beautiful.

[30:24] And I'm grateful for you all, for your

[30:26] magic.

[30:30] Bless you. Love you.

[30:34] See you next time.

[30:35] Ciao, ciao.

According to this talk, art works by shifting what inputs people receive. Rather than toxicity and distortion, art that heals offers beauty and forms that remind us of wholeness. As creators and viewers, we ripple these new visions into the field—the shared consciousness—powerfully. When we sing, dance, and create in response to injustice, we call each other into aliveness and empathy, which then catalyzes action.
The talk emphasizes that men's silence teaches the next generation what is acceptable. If fathers do not actively protect and speak for women, their sons learn that this silence is normal. Speaking up—whether to wider communities or to brothers directly—breaks the pattern and begins to heal the distortion that has strategically divided masculine and feminine.
Aliveness is the opposite of numbness. It means being present to feeling, to empathy, to the full spectrum of our humanity. Numbness, fed by toxic cultural inputs, keeps us complicit in harm. Aliveness makes us feel others' pain, creates empathy, and propels us into action—it is the prerequisite for real change.
The talk clarifies that the war of the sexes is not organic but a programmed construct. Healing happens when we recognize both principles live within each of us, and we work to balance them internally. Externally, it means creating art and dialogue that uplift across gender lines, where men support women and women uplift men, moving away from battle toward mutual call-forward.
The talk doesn't say creativity must always be activist, but it does argue that in this moment, creatives have a particular responsibility to step into renaissance and use their gifts consciously. Art that reminds us of wholeness and beauty is itself a form of cultural medicine, even if not explicitly political.
It means asking: what do I choose to allow through me? What do I anchor in my being as a pillar of wholeness? This is not wishful thinking but embodied practice—choosing presence, attuning to the field, having empathy, letting love move through you for the good of all, and making choices in your home, relationships, and creative work that model the world you want to see.
The speaker is curious about justice that honors both accountability and transformation—rejecting both the prison system and the letting-off of true harm. Real healing requires that harm be seen, named, and addressed, but not through systems that perpetuate disconnection. The invitation is to imagine justice that heals both the harmed and the harmer.
