[0:00] Feel the feeling as if the prayer has
[0:03] already been answered.
[0:04] >> It only takes an image or a thought and
[0:06] an emotion.
[0:07] >> Are you more conscious of the problems
[0:11] in your life or are you more conscious
[0:14] of the solutions in your life?
[0:17] >> You as an identity represent an energy
[0:21] field.
[0:38] Almost universally, [music]
[0:39] ancient texts and spiritual traditions
[0:40] suggest that everything in our world is
[0:42] connected in ways perhaps that we're
[0:44] only beginning to understand.
[0:46] This field of energy, this subtle field
[0:48] of energy is in fact described by
[0:50] western scientists as a net or a web
[0:54] that creates what [music] they call the
[0:55] underlying fabric of all creation.
[0:59] This field of energy has been here from
[1:00] the very beginning. It is an intelligent
[1:03] field. An intelligence that responds
[1:06] deeply to human emotion.
[1:12] We must feel the feeling as if the
[1:14] prayer has already been answered. And in
[1:17] that feeling, we are speaking to the
[1:20] forces of creation, [music]
[1:21] allowing the world to respond to us,
[1:24] allowing this field, the quantum
[1:26] hologram, the mind of God [music] to
[1:27] respond to us with what it is that we
[1:30] are feeling within our hearts.
[1:35] So now that science is beginning to tell
[1:38] us in its language, ancient spiritual
[1:40] traditions have shown us in their way
[1:42] and in our own texts and documents,
[1:45] we're seeing references uh to precisely
[1:48] how these principles work. The question
[1:49] is how do we apply them in our lives?
[1:52] How do we go about making use of this
[1:54] relationship between thoughts, feelings,
[1:56] and emotions inside of our bodies and
[1:59] what's happening in the world around us?
[2:01] Well, perhaps the the best place to
[2:03] begin is by defining uh what a thought
[2:05] and a feeling and emotion really are. Um
[2:08] I've had this conversation with my mom
[2:10] many many times. Mom always says to me,
[2:12] she goes, "I always thought feelings and
[2:13] emotions were the same thing." And while
[2:15] they're closely related, there is uh
[2:17] there is a difference. So if we think of
[2:20] a of a chart, if you look at the ancient
[2:22] charts of the energy centers in our
[2:24] bodies, the chakra centers if you will,
[2:27] what we see is the lower three energy
[2:29] centers of our bodies, they are closely
[2:32] associated with what we call the power
[2:33] of human emotion. And the ancients said
[2:36] we're capable of only two primary
[2:38] emotions. They said we're capable of the
[2:40] emotion of love. and whatever we believe
[2:42] the opposite of love really is
[2:46] whether we think of that as fear or hate
[2:49] and when you get really deep into the
[2:50] traditions what we find is is there are
[2:52] actually both polarities of the same
[2:54] force. So in those lower centers, the
[2:57] power of emotion, uh we have two primary
[3:01] experiences. Love and whatever we
[3:03] believe the opposite of love really is.
[3:05] This is a a power. It's a force that
[3:07] drives us forward in life and it tears
[3:09] down the walls uh knocks down the
[3:12] barriers that stand between us and the
[3:14] things that we hold dear in our lives.
[3:17] Emotion however is scattered. It has to
[3:19] be focused. You can think of as a power.
[3:21] If you know people live strictly in
[3:23] their emotions, you know that sometimes
[3:25] their lives can be a little chaotic.
[3:28] Well, the emotions need to be focused.
[3:29] And this is where the power of thought
[3:31] or logic come in. And it's associated
[3:34] with the upper energy centers of the
[3:35] body. Thought is what gives focus or
[3:39] direction to the emotions. In other
[3:41] words, we have a thought about
[3:43] something. uh we have a thought about uh
[3:46] a cloudy day outside and that thought
[3:49] into that thought we pump we fuel the
[3:52] power of the the emotion either our love
[3:55] of that rainy day or our fear of what
[3:57] that rainy day may bring to us and by
[4:00] doing so when we marry the power of
[4:03] emotion with the direction of the
[4:04] thought by virtue of that we create a
[4:07] feeling. So feeling by definition is the
[4:10] union of emotion and the thought. And
[4:12] the one energy center interestingly
[4:14] enough that is not accounted for in all
[4:17] of the other systems uh that remains
[4:20] unused in these ancient systems uh is
[4:22] the heart center and this is the one
[4:24] that is dedicated to the power of
[4:26] feeling. We feel in our hearts. So the
[4:29] feeling that we have in our hearts is
[4:31] the language that speaks to the field
[4:36] that western science is now beginning to
[4:38] to understand through through their
[4:40] experiments. It's the power of human
[4:42] feeling that is the language that opens
[4:46] the door to the possibilities of what we
[4:48] create in our world. Well, scientists
[4:50] today
[4:52] as they think about this field, uh, it
[4:56] is so new, the idea is so new that
[4:58] they've yet to agree even on a single
[5:00] term. Some scientists call this the
[5:01] quantum hologram. Uh, some call it
[5:04] nature's mind. Dr. Ed Mitchell, former
[5:06] Apollo astronaut, calls this nature's
[5:08] mind. Uh, scientists like Stephen
[5:10] Hawking call it the mind of God. As
[5:12] varied as the names appear to be,
[5:15] they're all speaking about essentially
[5:16] the same field. And they describe this
[5:18] field as a web or a net that underlies
[5:22] the fabric that links everything
[5:23] together. And it is this fabric, this
[5:26] web, this net is what we speak to with
[5:29] the feelings in our bodies, with the
[5:30] feelings in our hearts. Ancient
[5:33] traditions not only recognized this
[5:36] relationship, they invite us one step
[5:39] further and they left precise
[5:40] instructions in terms of how we apply
[5:43] this in our lives. the late 1980s I was
[5:46] an engineer working in the defense and
[5:48] aerospace corporations. I began
[5:50] exploring these concepts as an engineer
[5:53] looking in the world around me to
[5:56] understand the history of those who have
[5:58] come before us. And it is that thinking
[6:01] that led me into the journeys of some of
[6:03] the most amazing places in the world.
[6:05] from the temples in Egypt, the Andes
[6:07] mountains of Bolivia and Peru into India
[6:09] and Nepal, the highlands of central
[6:11] China and Tibet, all through the
[6:13] American desert southwest, searching for
[6:16] information and clues that would help us
[6:18] to understand how we relate to the world
[6:20] and [music] how we can use this this
[6:22] power of feeling this power uh that
[6:24] speaks the language the world around us.
[6:28] So as an engineer when I began studying
[6:30] the principles of those who have come
[6:32] before us, the information that they
[6:34] left so that we could understand our
[6:35] relationship to the world around us and
[6:38] and this ancient technology that today
[6:40] we call prayer. My thinking was that
[6:43] this kind of information would be best
[6:45] preserved in places that have been least
[6:47] disturbed by western civilization. Uh
[6:50] and this thinking led me into a journey
[6:52] [music]
[6:53] uh first time in 1998 into the highlands
[6:56] of central China into Tibet where we had
[6:59] the opportunity to explore 12
[7:01] monasteries [music] and two nunneries
[7:03] speaking through the translators to
[7:06] those who actually live these principles
[7:08] in their lives. This is the value of
[7:10] going to a place like Tibet, a living
[7:12] culture. We can go into temples in Egypt
[7:16] or temples of the Mayan temples [music]
[7:17] in the Yucatan and as fascinating as
[7:19] they are and as much information as they
[7:21] hold the cultures that left that kind of
[7:24] information no longer exist. So at very
[7:27] best we are speculating in terms of what
[7:29] they're saying to us. When we go into a
[7:31] monastery in Tibet we can actually speak
[7:34] with the people who are there and we can
[7:35] ask them when we see your prayers on the
[7:38] outside what are you doing on the
[7:40] [music] inside? What happens? What
[7:42] happens to your body? What are you
[7:43] thinking? What are you feeling? What are
[7:45] you emoting? Well, it was in Tibet where
[7:48] I had the opportunity to meet with an
[7:50] abbott of one of the monasteries. And I
[7:52] asked him through the translator same
[7:54] thing we'd ask all of the monks and all
[7:56] the nuns. And it was his answer that was
[7:58] so clear to me and I I asked him when we
[8:02] see your prayers for 12 and 14 and 16
[8:06] hours a day. When we see the mudras and
[8:09] the mantras and the bells and the bowls
[8:11] and the gongs and the chimes and the
[8:12] chants that you're doing in your prayers
[8:14] for so long on the outside, I said,
[8:17] "What are you doing on the inside? What
[8:18] happens on the inside?" And the abbott
[8:21] looked at me and I like to think he was
[8:23] laughing with me. He may have been
[8:24] laughing at me because he said through
[8:27] the translator again, he said, "You've
[8:29] never seen our prayers because a prayer
[8:31] cannot be seen." He said, "What you have
[8:34] seen are the things that we do to create
[8:36] the feeling in our bodies. The feeling
[8:39] is the prayer."
[8:41] >> Then he turned the question on me and he
[8:43] said, "How do you do it in your culture?
[8:44] How do you do this in your culture?" And
[8:46] I began to think about the way we think
[8:48] about prayer in our culture today. when
[8:51] we lost the texts that describe how the
[8:55] power of emotion and feeling are
[8:57] actually the language that [music]
[8:58] connect us with the universe and and the
[9:00] creation around us.
[9:02] >> We began to believe that words are
[9:04] simply the [music] prayers that if we
[9:05] say the right words the right number of
[9:07] times, the right day of the year, the
[9:09] right time of day that we've said the
[9:11] prayer. And as well intentioned as those
[9:13] prayers may be, what we know is that
[9:16] there is a modality of prayer that
[9:17] carries us far beyond uh where simply
[9:21] offering the words will carry us.
[9:25] [music]
[9:33] >> Western prayer researchers today
[9:37] identify four modalities of prayer. They
[9:40] say when we pray in the west we use one
[9:42] or some combination of these four modes
[9:45] of prayer. Uh the first is an informal
[9:48] prayer that's called a colloquial
[9:50] prayer. I had a friend of mine that
[9:52] lived in uh in the Bay Area in San
[9:54] Francisco that would say this informal
[9:56] prayer coming home from work uh every
[9:58] Friday on on the uh on the interstate.
[10:00] Dear God, if you let me get to the KICO
[10:03] station before my tank runs out of gas,
[10:05] I'll never let my tank get this low
[10:07] again. uh and that is an informal prayer
[10:09] to God. Uh the second mode of prayer is
[10:13] what is called a petitionary prayer
[10:15] where we petition the powers to be. We
[10:18] petition the angel angels or or we
[10:20] petition God.
[10:22] >> Amen.
[10:22] >> Amen.
[10:23] >> Dear God, I uh I claim the right to heal
[10:27] and be healed now in all past, present,
[10:30] future manifestations. That would be a
[10:32] petitionary kind of prayer. The third
[10:34] mode of prayer is a ritualistic prayer.
[10:37] uh now I lay me down to sleep. God is
[10:39] great. God is good. And the fourth mode
[10:41] of prayer
[10:43] is a prayer that has no words. It's
[10:45] simply a a meditative prayer where we
[10:47] become aware of uh of a presence around
[10:51] us and in the silence. Uh and there's
[10:53] some uh dispute as to whether or not
[10:55] this is even a mode of prayer or not.
[10:57] But this is the way Western prayer
[10:58] researchers typically think of prayer in
[11:01] our world today. And as good as those
[11:03] modes are and as as well as they
[11:05] describe the way we pray, there's always
[11:08] been another mode, a fifth mode that is
[11:11] not described in these uh modalities.
[11:14] And this is precisely what the abbott in
[11:16] Tibet was describing to us. He was
[11:19] describing a mode of prayer that's based
[11:21] in feeling. And he said we must feel the
[11:25] feeling as if the prayer has already
[11:27] been answered. And in that feeling, we
[11:31] are speaking to the forces of creation,
[11:33] allowing the world to respond to us,
[11:36] allowing this field, the quantum
[11:38] hologram, the mind of God to respond to
[11:40] us with what it is that we are feeling
[11:42] within our hearts. So rather than
[11:45] praying and feeling powerless in a given
[11:47] situation, dear God, please let there be
[11:50] peace in the world. This mode of prayer
[11:53] invites us to feel as if we are
[11:55] participating in that peace. Just as
[11:57] John Wheeler suggested that we are part
[12:00] of all that we see and as we feel the
[12:02] peace in our world or the healing in the
[12:03] bodies of our loved ones, we are
[12:05] actually empowering the field to mirror
[12:08] that back to us uh in a way that will
[12:11] bring those changes about in our lives
[12:13] and in our world. This is precisely what
[12:16] the abbott was saying to us in the
[12:18] monastery in Tibet.
[12:21] the early 1990s, I had the opportunity
[12:23] to see this mode of prayer, this
[12:26] feelingbased prayer uh enacted in in a
[12:29] real time situation. And I'd like to
[12:31] share the story because it perhaps best
[12:35] describes what otherwise is is a
[12:37] nebulous concept uh regarding precisely
[12:40] how feeling based prayer works in our
[12:42] lives.
[12:44] During the 1990s, early 1990s, the
[12:47] desert southwest was experiencing one of
[12:49] the worst droughts in history. And a
[12:52] Native American friend of mine invited
[12:54] me to join him one day in a place in the
[12:57] high deserts in northern New Mexico to
[13:00] [music] share in a prayer of rain. He
[13:02] didn't have to ask me twice. I said,
[13:04] "You bet. I'd love I'd love to
[13:06] participate and see what this prayer is
[13:07] all about." So, we met at a uh an agreed
[13:10] upon location and we hiked uh through
[13:13] several 100,000 acres of beautiful high
[13:16] mountain desert sage until we came to a
[13:19] place that was so old uh even the people
[13:23] today don't know who built this place.
[13:25] It was essentially a stone circle and
[13:27] each stone was placed just as it was by
[13:30] the hands of the ancestors so long ago.
[13:33] It was in this place that my friend
[13:35] began uh his prayer. What he did was he
[13:37] removed his shoes, stepped into the
[13:39] circle in his bare feet. He honored all
[13:42] of his ancestors. He simply said, "All
[13:44] of my ancestors." All of my ancestors.
[13:47] Honored the four directions. He turned
[13:48] his back to me, held his hand in a
[13:51] prayer position. Just a few seconds.
[13:55] Then he turned around and looked at me
[13:56] and he said, "I'm hungry. Let's go get a
[13:59] bite to eat." And I said, "I thought you
[14:02] were going to share this prayer. I
[14:03] thought you were going to pray for
[14:04] rain." And he looked at me and he said,
[14:08] "No." [music] He said, "Because if we
[14:10] prayed for rain, rain could never happen
[14:14] because the moment you [music] pray for
[14:16] something to occur, you've just
[14:18] acknowledged that it does not exist
[14:19] [music] in that moment." And I thought
[14:22] about what he said. It made a lot of
[14:23] sense to me. If I say, "Dear God, please
[14:26] [music] let there be peace in the
[14:27] world." What I'm saying in that moment
[14:29] is that peace isn't there. and I may
[14:31] inadvertently [music] be empowering the
[14:34] very condition that I would like to
[14:35] change. And the same with a healing in
[14:37] my body or the body of my loved ones. So
[14:40] I asked my friend, I said, "If you
[14:42] didn't pray for rain just then, what
[14:44] what did you just do? What happened when
[14:46] you closed [music] your eyes and you
[14:48] turned your back to me just for those
[14:49] few moments?" And what he said was this.
[14:52] He said, "When I closed my eyes, I began
[14:55] to feel the feeling of what it feels
[14:57] like to have rain in our PBLO village."
[15:01] He said, "I smelled the smells of what
[15:04] it smells like when the rain falls off
[15:06] the earth and walls of our buildings,
[15:09] and I felt the feeling of what it feels
[15:11] like with my naked feet in the mud.
[15:13] There's so much mud because there's been
[15:15] so much rain." And he said, 'In that
[15:17] way, I opened the door to the
[15:19] possibility to bring rain into our
[15:21] world. Well, I think about this mode of
[15:24] prayer a lot. Later that afternoon,
[15:27] something amazing happened. I was
[15:28] watching the weather maps and the
[15:29] drought that had happened for so long
[15:31] suddenly changed. We saw the high
[15:33] pressure system move across Utah and
[15:36] then dip down from Colorado into
[15:37] northern New Mexico and make a little
[15:39] U-turn and come right back up. We had
[15:41] rain that night and we had rain all the
[15:43] next day. It rained and rained. And I
[15:45] called my friend and I asked him, I
[15:47] said, "There's so much rain. The [music]
[15:48] valleys are flooding. The roads are
[15:49] flooding. What in the world is going
[15:51] on?" And he was quiet just for a moment.
[15:53] And he said, "That's the part of the
[15:55] prayer." He said, "I never quite figured
[15:57] out." So I have no way of scientifically
[16:00] validating that my friend's prayer had
[16:02] anything to do [music] with that rain,
[16:04] but the correlations are so high. We see
[16:06] it happen so many times, we know there
[16:09] is an effect.
[16:20] We'll just start out by having you
[16:23] explain who you are, a little bit about
[16:25] your background and what you are doing
[16:27] these days.
[16:28] >> Sure. So, my name is Joe Despensza. Uh,
[16:31] I've written four books. Uh, my first
[16:34] book was called Evolve Your Brain: The
[16:36] Science of Changing Your Mind.
[16:38] >> [clears throat]
[16:38] >> Then I wrote another book called The
[16:40] Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself:
[16:41] How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New
[16:43] One. And that book uh kind of caused me
[16:46] to head more to a practical approach. In
[16:49] other words, the science behind what uh
[16:53] is now kind of mainstream uh more than
[16:56] 15 years ago. It was a was a whole
[16:58] different world of consciousness. So I I
[17:00] wanted to start bridging just the
[17:02] philosophical component to more of the
[17:04] practical applying. Uh then I wrote
[17:07] another book called uh you are the
[17:08] placebo uh making your mind matter and
[17:11] and in that book I wanted to demystify
[17:15] the process of teaching people the same
[17:18] science of how the placebo works but
[17:20] instead of relying on something outside
[17:22] of you in order to alter your internal
[17:24] state can you do it by thought alone and
[17:27] uh then my last book uh that I've
[17:29] written just a couple years ago uh is
[17:31] called becoming supernatural how common
[17:33] people are doing the uncommon and in
[17:36] that book uh it was uh my best attempt
[17:39] to explain what we do at our advanced
[17:42] workshops and provide people not only
[17:44] the science and the understanding but
[17:46] giving them all the meditations and and
[17:49] tools for them to begin to apply uh to
[17:51] their life. And so I demystified many
[17:53] different things, but one of the things
[17:55] that I was the most excited about in
[17:56] that book was demystifying the
[17:58] transcendental experience, the mystical
[18:00] moment and what it is and what are the
[18:01] latent systems in the brain and body
[18:03] that connect the physics of the quantum
[18:06] field to the biology of our brain and
[18:08] body. And uh uh so that was my latest
[18:10] book. Um I run events uh around the
[18:13] world. Uh and uh again we teach people
[18:17] uh how to apply these uh principles so
[18:19] that they can live a better life to heal
[18:21] their body uh to heal from childhood
[18:24] scars and wounds uh to create new jobs,
[18:27] new relationships, new opportunities and
[18:29] to have those mystical experiences that
[18:31] change them forever. And uh and I
[18:33] believe if you get enough people
[18:34] together in a in a workshop setting uh
[18:37] there comes a moment where people start
[18:38] to break through and then it becomes
[18:40] like a brush fire. So um we have
[18:43] witnessed some of the most amazing
[18:45] things that uh has changed me and
[18:47] changed my beliefs on a very deep level.
[18:49] So I have a team of researchers and
[18:51] scientists that I work with and our
[18:53] laboratory is our is is our workshops
[18:57] and um we've done thousands and
[18:59] thousands and thousands of brain
[19:00] measurements uh quantitative studies of
[19:02] the brain pre and post measurements. You
[19:04] know, someone comes, we measure their
[19:06] brain, we put them through a week of
[19:07] training or 5 days of training, and then
[19:09] we measure their brain at the end to see
[19:11] if there wasn't just changes in their
[19:12] mind, but there's changes in their
[19:14] brain. Uh we've also measured uh
[19:17] quantitative studies in the brain in
[19:19] real time, like what's happening in your
[19:20] inner world of thoughts and feelings or
[19:22] what's happening in your brain when
[19:24] you're attempting to to change some
[19:26] thought or change uh uh uh some aspect
[19:28] of yourself. And we've gained so much
[19:31] information about that process in in in
[19:35] creating a formula, a way to uh uh to
[19:40] self-regulate in your inner world that
[19:42] begins to produce measurable effects not
[19:44] only in your body but in your life.
[19:46] We've done thousands of studies on H HRV
[19:49] measurements to see if people can
[19:50] sustain or self-regulate more elevated
[19:52] emotions. what that does to their immune
[19:55] system, what that does to their uh to
[19:57] their gene expression, what it does to
[19:59] their telomere lengths. Determine your
[20:01] true biological age, what happens to
[20:04] energy. You know, the body is always
[20:05] emitting light and information uh when a
[20:08] person truly begins to break through. Do
[20:10] they begin to emit more of a frequency
[20:12] or is there more energy and information
[20:14] being released? and and all of that is
[20:16] to give people uh the the opportunity to
[20:20] begin to understand that you don't have
[20:22] to be a Buddhist monk or a a nun with 40
[20:25] years of devotion or an academic or a
[20:27] scholar that once you understand the
[20:29] formula and you begin to apply it on a
[20:31] regular basis uh you become the
[20:33] scientist in your own life and you get
[20:34] to see the changes not only in your body
[20:37] but in your in your outer world as well.
[20:39] So, um, my passion and my interest is,
[20:43] um, to prove to people how powerful they
[20:45] really are.
[20:47] >> It's amazing. And you're seeing that in
[20:49] your workshops, especially as you're
[20:51] measuring this.
[20:53] >> Yeah. I think that uh, I'm waking up in
[20:57] my dream that if you said to me 10 years
[21:00] ago, you're going to witness what you're
[21:02] witnessing presently, I probably
[21:04] wouldn't have believed you. But um we
[21:07] are witnessing some of the most amazing
[21:10] healings and transformations that are
[21:11] happening. And and it's so important to
[21:13] understand this because 15 years ago it
[21:16] was all about the philosophy, the
[21:18] theory, the science, the knowledge, the
[21:20] intellectual data. And we're in an age
[21:22] of information, you know, and in an age
[21:24] of information. Ignorance is a choice.
[21:26] You know, you don't need an authority to
[21:28] gain information now. You don't need a
[21:29] priest. You don't need a teacher. You
[21:31] don't need a doctor. you can gain
[21:33] information because of technology and
[21:35] and so what's happened now is that is
[21:38] that information is so readily available
[21:40] that people want to understand how to
[21:42] use it. So I think this is a time in
[21:45] history where it's not enough to know. I
[21:47] think this is a time in history to know
[21:48] how. And so, uh, for me, giving people
[21:53] the opportunity, numerous opportunities
[21:55] to connect to that invisible field of
[21:57] energy and information, giving them
[21:59] numerous opportunities to get beyond
[22:01] themselves, uh, numerous opportunities
[22:04] to begin to practice changing their
[22:06] brain waves so they can get into the
[22:08] operating system where all those
[22:10] hardwired attitudes and subconscious
[22:12] programs exist. And, and teaching them
[22:15] how to self-correct each time, sooner or
[22:17] later, they're going to run into
[22:18] something great. And so what we've seen
[22:20] in the last uh five years or so is that
[22:23] we've seen such significant changes in
[22:26] in what's happened what could possibly
[22:29] happen in a week. you know from blind
[22:31] people seeing deaf people hearing tumors
[22:34] disappearing before our eyes people with
[22:35] Parkinson's disease who came in with
[22:38] very very serious symptoms walking out
[22:40] uh in in a very changed state and some
[22:42] of them are psychotherapists some of
[22:45] them are medical doctors some of them
[22:46] are just people that are very well
[22:48] educated that ran out of solutions and
[22:51] decided that maybe it was time for them
[22:53] to start doing some inner work and so
[22:57] for me I think something amazing has
[22:59] happened that we've pierced a veneer, a
[23:03] layer of consciousness, you know, just
[23:04] like the 4-minute mile that it was just
[23:07] this barrier that nobody could ever
[23:09] cross. But once the first person uh
[23:12] broke the 4-minute mile, within a very
[23:14] short amount of time, there was other
[23:15] people doing it. So, the belief changed
[23:18] and it became a consensus. It became a
[23:21] new level of consciousness of what was
[23:23] possible, right? And so, we're seeing
[23:25] these dramatic healings. We're seeing uh
[23:28] people's skill sets in in their ability
[23:31] to self-regulate. As an example, uh we
[23:34] have a university in in on the Gold
[23:37] Coast of Australia, Bond University,
[23:40] that has taken good portion of our brain
[23:43] scans and just spent about nine months
[23:47] looking at all the different variables
[23:49] to to analyze exactly what we're doing.
[23:51] And the first thing the researcher said
[23:53] was, "We have never seen such a large
[23:57] group of people be able to change their
[24:00] brain waves in such a short amount of
[24:02] time." We're talking 4 seconds, 5
[24:04] seconds, 9 seconds. Now, what does that
[24:06] mean from a practical standpoint? Well,
[24:09] you have your conscious mind and when
[24:11] you're in your conscious mind, you're
[24:13] functioning in a brain wave pattern
[24:14] called beta brain wave patterns. It's
[24:16] it's it's where your neoortex is
[24:18] thinking and reasoning and analyzing and
[24:20] and and integrating all the information
[24:22] with your outer world with it with to
[24:24] connect with your inner world. And and
[24:26] in order for you to begin to make
[24:27] substantial changes, you got to lay that
[24:29] down. You got to know how to suppress
[24:32] the thinking analytical mind. You have
[24:34] to know how to quiet down the circuits
[24:36] in the brain that are connected to your
[24:38] personality self. Uh you got to get
[24:40] beyond the known aspect of your memory
[24:43] bank, the autobiographical self. And
[24:45] when you do, you start tapping into
[24:47] something greater. And so we have
[24:50] students that have that ability to do it
[24:52] in a very short amount of time. And our
[24:53] research shows that. At the same time,
[24:55] we have research to show that, wow, a
[24:58] mystical moment looks something like
[24:59] this. And we see it repeatedly every
[25:02] time. In fact, we now know that we can
[25:04] induce it. And the re the fact that it's
[25:07] so consistent, anything that's uh
[25:10] consistent or repeatable is science,
[25:13] right? because you're looking at a
[25:14] trend. You're looking at a law. So,
[25:16] we're seeing evidence in our scans and
[25:19] in our scientific research that's saying
[25:22] something amazing has happened. You
[25:23] know, something powerful is happening to
[25:26] a person. And then we have people
[25:28] standing up in the audience and saying,
[25:31] "Hey, I had stage four cancer. I had
[25:33] endometriosis. I had serious tenitis and
[25:36] vertigo. I went to 10 different doctors.
[25:39] No change. Uh I was allergic to
[25:42] everything. I had to wear a mask. I'd go
[25:44] into anaphylactic shock every single
[25:46] day. I had 50 brain tumors. Now I don't
[25:48] have any. And you know, they stand in
[25:50] front of an audience and they tell their
[25:53] story and the story isn't always
[25:56] glamorous and it isn't always a
[25:58] Hollywood version of a triumph. A lot of
[26:01] times they've lost family members,
[26:03] they've lost their job, they went
[26:04] bankrupt. You know, there's a rough road
[26:07] when you're recovering from a disease.
[26:09] Uh but they never gave up. They never
[26:12] stopped believing in possibility. And I
[26:13] think when you believe in possibility,
[26:15] you believe in yourself. When you
[26:17] believe in yourself, you believe in
[26:18] possibility. So they stand in front of
[26:20] an audience and I stand on a stage and
[26:23] I'm looking out at the audience and I'm
[26:24] watching 1,500 people with tears rolling
[26:29] down their face because the evidence of
[26:32] this person and the story and their
[26:33] humility and their simplicity and the
[26:37] way that uh they're not using their own
[26:41] accomplishment to to um to endorse their
[26:45] ego. In fact, they've worked so hard at
[26:49] overcoming their ego every single day
[26:51] that they figured out they wouldn't
[26:53] build it up the next day because they'd
[26:55] have to face it again the next day. So,
[26:58] they've they've made great strides
[27:00] in in getting better at connecting.
[27:03] They've made great strides understanding
[27:05] that they could signal new genes because
[27:07] they saw the evidence, right? So, they
[27:09] tell their story and everybody in the
[27:12] audience is leaning in
[27:14] and they're moved and the person doesn't
[27:17] look like a rock star, doesn't look
[27:19] young, doesn't look buffed, doesn't look
[27:20] like a vegetarian. They just look like a
[27:22] normal person and they're not they're
[27:25] they're just they they're they're a
[27:27] common person. And it's so important
[27:30] because it allows people to associate
[27:32] and identify with, oh, well, that isn't
[27:36] Jane on the television commercial who's
[27:38] in her 60s and looks fit and slim and
[27:41] she's got this disease and well, if
[27:42] she's got it or I'm not don't look
[27:44] anything like her, I'm going to get it.
[27:46] Uh, it's it's just that you start really
[27:49] starting to see some uh veils being
[27:52] removed. And when they tell their story
[27:54] and they finish their story,
[27:58] uh people are so moved that they
[28:00] understand that it's possible for them.
[28:02] So the side effect of that is you assign
[28:05] more meaning, more intention behind what
[28:07] you're doing. And when you do, you're
[28:09] investing a stronger energy or stronger
[28:12] intention to an outcome.
[28:15] So now you have evidence in the science
[28:19] that says you don't have to be anybody
[28:20] special. The brain scans are there. the
[28:23] the genetic tests are there, the immune
[28:25] tests are there, telmir tests are there,
[28:27] and then you have this incredible
[28:30] community of people giving testimonials.
[28:33] And those testimonials are, you know,
[28:35] people with strokes that were paralyzed,
[28:38] you know, for 2 years that that's a
[28:40] doctor of law who had no belief that he
[28:44] was ever going to heal, who now is
[28:46] lifting his arm above his shoulder
[28:49] >> in a week-long event. and you watch this
[28:53] or a blind person who was blind since
[28:55] she was at at birth uh you know 3 months
[28:58] old who's now seeing for the first time
[29:01] faces and and not just shadows and
[29:03] outlines. I mean if she had 5% vision
[29:06] it's going to change you on a very gut
[29:08] level cuz you're witnessing miracles
[29:11] that are of biblical proportion right
[29:13] and and you're you're you're in the
[29:15] presence of this. So now you have
[29:16] evidence with people telling stories and
[29:18] stories are such powerful teaching
[29:21] tools. Allegory is an amazing way that
[29:23] people can associate and that's what was
[29:26] used in folklore and tradition. So we
[29:28] have evidence here scientifically and
[29:30] then you have evidence where people send
[29:32] their brain scans in, send their eye
[29:34] scans in, send their blood tests in and
[29:36] we have this large body of real powerful
[29:41] transformation.
[29:44] you have a footprint in consciousness
[29:46] that's being left for other people to
[29:48] step in or footprints in consciousness
[29:50] to step in. Why? Because when a person
[29:53] stands on the stage who has stage 4
[29:55] cancer or a rare genetic disorder that
[29:57] medical science is no solution for and
[30:00] there just happens to be a person in the
[30:01] audience with the same rare genetic
[30:03] disorder.
[30:06] You you you see that person latch on to
[30:09] the understanding and instead of taking
[30:12] them two years to reach that pinnacle
[30:14] moment where they heal, they do it in 3
[30:16] months. Why? They stepped into the same
[30:19] footprint in consciousness and it got
[30:20] them there faster. So then by the same
[30:23] means
[30:25] you have evidence before you and the
[30:28] evidence is causing information to be
[30:31] exchanged in three-dimensional reality.
[30:34] That is so important because you need
[30:36] you need one foot in the real world and
[30:37] one foot in the quantum world to begin
[30:39] to say okay something is happening here
[30:42] that's really powerful something's
[30:44] happening here that's really
[30:45] transformational
[30:47] and it's a movement and the movement is
[30:50] saying that we have been
[30:54] conditioned and hypnotized into
[30:56] believing that we're limited and the
[30:58] real work is overcoming those
[31:00] limitations and the overcoming process
[31:03] is the key element because as you
[31:05] overcome some aspect of yourself,
[31:07] overcome another aspect of yourself,
[31:09] overcome another aspect of yourself,
[31:11] you're going to start becoming somebody
[31:13] else. And when you truly become that
[31:15] person, there's no need to visualize a
[31:19] disease going away. You're [laughter]
[31:21] not the same person. The disease exists
[31:23] in the old person. You're somebody else.
[31:25] And we have so many great stories to
[31:28] prove that that evidence is exactly the
[31:30] truth. and evidence is the loudest voice
[31:33] right now
[31:35] >> and there is a lot of evidence at these
[31:37] workshops and and what you've gathered
[31:39] um which again like you said just
[31:41] strengthen someone's belief and
[31:43] possibility. So explain to us what is
[31:46] going on. What the majority of us when
[31:49] we're normal or natural, you know,
[31:51] between the difference between being
[31:52] becoming supernatural. Um, you know, we
[31:56] you talk about we're addicted to our
[31:58] emotions that are keeping us in the
[32:00] past,
[32:01] >> but we need to like one foot in the
[32:03] quantum world. We need to be actively
[32:05] co-creating the future that we want. Can
[32:07] you explain the difference between where
[32:09] most people live and where you get
[32:11] people to to live? So, we live in the
[32:14] material world, right? The
[32:16] three-dimensional reality. And it's
[32:17] called three-dimensional reality because
[32:19] everything occupies space and time. So
[32:24] whether you're looking at a chair or a
[32:25] table or a person, we could say that
[32:27] person is local in space and time. And
[32:30] the way that we interact with
[32:32] three-dimensional reality is through our
[32:34] senses. In fact, our senses plug us into
[32:36] the threedimensional reality. So if you
[32:39] take away uh your senses, if you
[32:41] couldn't see, you couldn't hear, you
[32:43] couldn't smell, you couldn't taste, you
[32:44] couldn't feel, you would have no
[32:46] experience of this three-dimensional
[32:48] reality. Now, in this three-dimensional
[32:50] reality that you and I are conscious of
[32:52] existing in, there's an infinite amount
[32:55] of space. Space is eternal. And we
[32:59] experience time when we move through
[33:01] space. So let's just say I'm one point
[33:04] of consciousness, Joe Despensza, and
[33:06] you're another point of consciousness.
[33:07] I'm aware of myself and I'm aware of
[33:09] you. That's my second point of
[33:11] consciousness. There's space between us.
[33:13] Now, if I was going to move closer to
[33:15] you, I'd have to move through space or
[33:17] collapse space. And when I do, I
[33:19] experience time. So time is a function
[33:21] of moving through space, right? One
[33:24] point of consciousness to another point
[33:25] of consciousness. By the same means,
[33:27] there's me here and then the bathroom
[33:29] somewhere. And if I have the thought of
[33:30] the bathroom, I become conscious of
[33:32] another local point in space and time.
[33:35] And if I'm going to move my body to the
[33:37] bathroom, then I'm going to hold the
[33:39] image of my of the bathroom. And my body
[33:41] is going to move through space. And it's
[33:43] going to take me a certain amount of
[33:44] time to get there. So everything in this
[33:46] three-dimensional reality usually takes
[33:49] time to create. In fact, there's me
[33:50] here, and then there's my dreams. And
[33:53] where do I place my dreams? Way over
[33:55] there. My brain naturally creates my
[33:58] dreams separate from me, right? So my
[34:01] experience of linear time says time is
[34:03] going to look a lot like the past. And
[34:06] when I project how long it's going to
[34:07] take, my brain's going to naturally come
[34:09] up with how far in the future it's going
[34:10] to be.
[34:11] >> And we do that unconsciously. So because
[34:14] everything is local in space and time,
[34:17] then we experience separation from
[34:20] everyone and everything. Now, if you
[34:21] look a little differently than me, if
[34:24] you uh are acting a little different
[34:26] than me, then I experience more
[34:28] separation, right? Because I can't
[34:29] predict who you're going to be. So,
[34:31] separation then is the fundamental
[34:34] understanding of three-dimensional
[34:36] reality. And in fact, lack is the side
[34:40] effect of separation. So, you you're
[34:42] driving down the road and you see
[34:43] somebody with a new car. You're in a
[34:45] shopping mall and you see someone with a
[34:47] really nice wardrobe. The moment you
[34:49] notice something really beautiful or
[34:51] notice something that you like, you
[34:53] experience the fact that you don't have
[34:54] it. So you experience this separation or
[34:57] lack. And so the brain naturally goes
[34:59] about the business of dreaming. The next
[35:02] moment the brain is wired to dream. All
[35:03] of a sudden you see yourself driving the
[35:05] car. You see yourself wearing the
[35:07] wardrobe. And in fact you're actually
[35:10] living in that future reality in the
[35:12] present moment. And so the passionate
[35:15] person who does this, the thought that
[35:18] they're thinking in their mind of
[35:19] driving the car or the wearing the new
[35:22] wardrobe actually becomes the
[35:23] experience. And the end product of an
[35:25] experience is called an emotion. So then
[35:27] you start feeling like you're in that
[35:29] future. And your body is the unconscious
[35:32] mind does not know the difference
[35:34] between the experience that's creating
[35:36] the emotion and the emotion that you're
[35:38] fabricating by thought alone. The body's
[35:40] actually believing in that moment that
[35:43] it's living in the future reality in the
[35:45] present moment. And we could say then
[35:47] the body's getting a sampling
[35:49] emotionally of the future. And the
[35:52] stronger the emotion that you feel from
[35:55] that inner event, the more altered you
[35:57] feel inside of you, the more you pay
[35:59] attention to what's causing it. And it's
[36:01] the thought in your brain. And we could
[36:02] say then that's how conditioning starts.
[36:05] It only takes an image or a thought and
[36:07] an emotion. And if you keep doing the
[36:09] image and the thought and the emotion,
[36:11] you start conditioning your body to
[36:13] begin to live more in the future than in
[36:15] the past. So then, why is that
[36:17] important? Because if you get up and you
[36:20] feel like you own that car and you feel
[36:23] like uh you're beautiful and wearing
[36:26] this wardrobe, as long as you feel that
[36:28] feeling, you're not going to be looked
[36:30] in the thought and the emotion because
[36:31] you feel like it's already happened.
[36:33] You're no longer in lack.
[36:45] Hi, I'm Sandra Anne Taylor and I'm so
[36:47] excited to be introducing my new book,
[36:51] Unlimited Abundance. [music] Here it is.
[36:53] Today I want to talk about the three
[36:57] keys to unlocking [music]
[36:59] unlimited abundance and really
[37:01] longlasting
[37:03] prosperity and happiness [music]
[37:05] for you. You know, when we understand
[37:10] the science [music] of manifestation,
[37:14] all of the different elements of going
[37:16] into [music]
[37:18] manifesting our desires, it gives us the
[37:21] power to finally break old stuck
[37:25] patterns of attraction and [music]
[37:27] really achieve the desires that we've
[37:30] been longing for.
[37:32] The thing that people are missing
[37:35] [music] is that it's your whole life
[37:37] force that moves out in front of you
[37:41] that [music] really creates the energy
[37:45] of your life and brings back what you
[37:49] attract and what [music] you experience.
[37:53] So, let's look at the three keys to
[37:57] unlocking the doors to unlimited
[37:59] abundance. [music]
[38:01] The first one is consciousness.
[38:04] Consciousness. Now, scientists
[38:07] define consciousness as a field of
[38:10] information.
[38:12] And there's a theory in quantum physics
[38:15] called consciousness created reality.
[38:19] [snorts] And that says that
[38:21] consciousness in the world creates
[38:24] reality. And I could go into many many
[38:27] different proofs and examples of how
[38:30] this is in quantum physics. We just
[38:32] don't have the time here. So I just want
[38:34] to bring that home to you and tell you
[38:37] that your consciousness creates your
[38:41] reality. Your consciousness creates your
[38:46] reality and it can change your reality.
[38:49] Anything
[38:50] that you are conscious of can be changed
[38:53] and that can change what you create in
[38:57] terms of your reality.
[39:01] So the thing that we have to think about
[39:03] is when we're thinking about how we
[39:07] manifest,
[39:09] what are we most conscious of? What are
[39:13] we most conscious of? If your individual
[39:16] consciousness creates your individual
[39:19] reality, stop and think. Stop and think
[39:22] a moment. Are you more conscious of the
[39:27] problems in your life or are you more
[39:30] conscious of the solutions in your life?
[39:34] Are you more conscious of the
[39:38] energy of misery in your life? for you
[39:41] consciously focusing on what's wrong in
[39:45] your life instead of what's right about
[39:49] your life and yourself.
[39:52] Are you more conscious of the
[39:55] limitations of the universe
[39:58] or are you more conscious
[40:01] of the abundant possibilities that are
[40:05] available to you?
[40:08] And finally, are you more conscious of
[40:11] what you lack
[40:13] than what you have? Now, if
[40:16] consciousness creates your reality,
[40:20] being more conscious of what you lack
[40:23] will actually create more lack.
[40:27] So, we have the possibility to change
[40:30] our consciousness.
[40:33] There's a theory called the uncertainty
[40:36] theory and that says that all of life
[40:39] exists in a constant state of flow and
[40:43] flux and change.
[40:46] And the complexity theory says that
[40:48] there are infinite possibilities of
[40:51] change.
[40:53] Infinite possibilities. And within that
[40:55] theory, there's something called
[40:56] adjacent possibilities. And I'm sorry
[40:59] I'm running through all this scientific
[41:01] stuff. It's all in my book. But I want
[41:04] to give you the most powerful tools that
[41:07] you can have right now. The concept of
[41:10] adjacent possibilities says that right
[41:13] next to this very moment, right next to
[41:17] this moment
[41:19] is a hundred a dozen hundred thousand
[41:24] opportunities, options
[41:27] adjacent to this moment is another
[41:30] possibility.
[41:32] And it says that even if a we take just
[41:35] a small change in this next moment,
[41:40] even if we make a different focus of our
[41:44] consciousness,
[41:45] the moment we choose to look at what we
[41:48] have instead of what we lack, guess
[41:50] what? That takes our lives in entirely
[41:54] different directions. Just these little
[41:56] adjacent possibilities
[41:59] shift our consciousness and moves our
[42:03] lives into entirely different
[42:07] directions.
[42:09] But to control what your consciousness
[42:11] is going to create, you have to become
[42:16] conscious.
[42:18] You have to take the time.
[42:21] Take the time to stop and think, what is
[42:25] this consciousness creating? What am I
[42:27] focusing on? What do I want to be
[42:30] conscious of? We have unlimited options.
[42:36] And we can use those options.
[42:40] It doesn't matter how deeply
[42:42] indoctrinated our old patterns of
[42:44] reaction are. We can shift our
[42:48] consciousness and create a higher
[42:51] understanding
[42:53] and think about what our mental focus is
[42:57] creating.
[42:58] That is the power that we have and we
[43:02] need to know that we have an adjacent
[43:06] possibility
[43:08] every single moment.
[43:11] So when you start becoming conscious,
[43:15] taking control of what you focus on,
[43:19] [clears throat] you start to shift
[43:21] direction.
[43:22] And don't fault yourself for not
[43:24] changing it. That is only a
[43:27] consciousness of what's wrong with you,
[43:30] not what's right with you. So just say,
[43:33] "Okay, I missed that opportunity. I'm
[43:35] going to take the next adjacent
[43:37] possibility." move from lack to have,
[43:39] from what's wrong to what can I do to
[43:42] solve it, from limitation to abundance.
[43:46] And that's what we have is abundant
[43:48] possibilities to shift our
[43:51] consciousness. And that is the first key
[43:54] to unlocking the door to abundance and
[43:58] truly happy and prosperous lives. The
[44:02] second key is energy.
[44:06] >> [snorts]
[44:06] >> Now energy guides the law of magnetism
[44:10] just like consciousness
[44:12] guides the law of manifestation and says
[44:16] that which we focus on expands. Our
[44:19] consciousness creates our reality. The
[44:22] law of magnetism says that we all
[44:25] produce
[44:26] a powerful energetic frequency
[44:31] that goes out into the world and sends
[44:35] out messages about who we are and what
[44:38] we expect out of life. This is the power
[44:43] of our energetic frequency and we can
[44:48] change that just like we can change the
[44:50] energy the consciousness and we can
[44:53] change our energy. We can understand
[44:56] where our energy comes from and what we
[44:59] can do about it. Most of our energy
[45:02] comes from our beliefs, our thoughts and
[45:06] our emotions. Our mind is like a
[45:09] generator constantly spinning out energy
[45:13] constantly.
[45:16] And every single thought that you have
[45:20] sparks a syninnapse in your brain,
[45:23] if all of the synapses were to spark at
[45:26] once, that would be enough energy to
[45:31] light a light bulb.
[45:33] That would be the power that you are
[45:39] vibrating and resonating outwards. And
[45:42] if your thoughts are negative,
[45:46] what kind of energy is going to be
[45:49] vibrating outward?
[45:52] It's all about your beliefs, your
[45:55] thoughts, and your emotions. That's what
[45:58] you create. And the law of magnetism,
[46:02] interestingly enough, says that we can
[46:06] only attract, this is so key here, we
[46:09] can only attract the same energy that we
[46:14] put out about ourselves,
[46:18] about ourselves. Now, some people
[46:20] misunderstand that and they think that
[46:23] if I just put out a lot of nice energy,
[46:26] do a lot of good deeds and take care of
[46:29] people, um, even people pleasers think
[46:32] this is going to bring me some good
[46:35] karma, good good response. But the law
[46:39] of magnetism says it's got to be about
[46:41] ourselves. So when you're out there
[46:43] people pleasing and going doing doing
[46:45] good deeds, you have to see if there is
[46:48] an energy of balance to it. Is there a
[46:52] balance to how you prioritize your life
[46:54] and how you prioritize the lives of the
[46:57] people that you're caring for and doing
[47:00] good works for? In fact, if you're
[47:03] constantly saying that other people, and
[47:06] this may not be something you're saying
[47:08] with your mouth or even in your mind,
[47:09] but in your actions, if you're
[47:12] constantly telling the universe that
[47:14] other people are more important, more of
[47:18] a priority than you are, then the
[47:21] energetic message is don't bother
[47:24] sending me stuff because I will not make
[47:27] it a priority for myself.
[47:30] You have to have balance. You have to
[47:33] choose. You have to create a belief
[47:37] system that is self-honoring
[47:40] and creates emotions
[47:44] of happiness,
[47:47] self-acceptance,
[47:49] self-love,
[47:51] joy in the present, optimism about the
[47:54] future. These are the things that we
[47:57] want to achieve through our belief
[47:59] system. If you choose different beliefs,
[48:03] you can get different emotions. For
[48:06] example, if you believe you're not
[48:09] valuable, if you really believe that, if
[48:12] you think it a lot, it's going to create
[48:15] the emotion of fear,
[48:17] fearing criticism, fearing judgment,
[48:21] even judging yourself.
[48:24] If you believe you're not powerful,
[48:27] that's going to fill you with feelings
[48:29] of being threatened or being controlled,
[48:33] fear again, of being not strong enough.
[48:39] If you have beliefs about being unworthy
[48:43] and undeserving,
[48:46] think of what emotion that creates. When
[48:49] you feel you're undeserving, you bring
[48:52] out a feeling of hopelessness.
[48:57] You can't help it cuz if I if I don't
[49:00] deserve, then how can I hope for the
[49:03] best things to happen? I'm unworthy of
[49:05] that.
[49:07] But all of these beliefs and all every
[49:11] one of these emotions can be changed.
[49:15] They can be changed by being conscious
[49:18] of our beliefs and choosing a different
[49:21] belief, taking the adjacent possibility.
[49:23] But our beliefs become like addictions.
[49:28] They become addictive to us. They are
[49:32] misinformation.
[49:35] They don't represent our truth.
[49:39] Where does our truth come from?
[49:42] Not from our misinformed parents or from
[49:46] parents that had psychological problems
[49:49] themselves. Not from society.
[49:54] Certainly not from influencers that make
[49:57] you feel like you have to be a size zero
[49:59] in order to accept yourself.
[50:01] Our
[50:03] true worth, the belief about our value,
[50:09] our worthiness and our power comes from
[50:12] our original source.
[50:16] You are a child of God.
[50:20] By virtue of your divine legacy,
[50:24] you are unlimited in power, unlimited in
[50:28] value, unlimited in deserving.
[50:31] All of this pre-existed this life, all
[50:34] the misinformation you got as a child or
[50:36] through other sources
[50:39] and it is a part of your soul. And
[50:42] that's why we want to reawaken to our
[50:45] soul truth. Affirm our soul truth.
[50:50] Affirm. I am valuable. I am deserving.
[50:56] I am capable. [snorts]
[50:59] I can make that promotion work. I am
[51:04] deserving of love.
[51:07] I believe in myself.
[51:10] But I want to tell you a little bit
[51:12] about affirmations. And there's a lot of
[51:15] stuff. Affirmations are very powerful if
[51:17] you get the right energy out of them. If
[51:20] you were raised in an environment that
[51:24] taught you that you were unworthy,
[51:27] totally powerless, and had no value.
[51:31] When you start to say things like, "I am
[51:34] valuable. I am worthy. I am deserving.
[51:38] I am powerful.
[51:40] Guess what? Your subconscious mind
[51:44] resists that. It says, "Who are you
[51:47] trying to kid?" No, you're not. Because
[51:49] your deeper belief goes back to those
[51:53] core understandings of yourself that you
[51:56] couldn't help. Do not fault yourself for
[52:00] holding these beliefs.
[52:02] That just adds negation to negation.
[52:05] Love yourself through it. But there's an
[52:07] easy fix to these resistant affirmations
[52:13] and that is making them receptive to
[52:16] your subconscious. Now a receptive
[52:19] affirmation
[52:21] can be done by just adding a little
[52:24] prefix in front of the statement. I am
[52:28] learning that I am valuable and worthy.
[52:34] I am beginning to understand
[52:37] how powerful I can be and how capable I
[52:42] can choose to be.
[52:44] I'm beginning to believe in myself
[52:48] and know that I can go for it. Whether
[52:51] it's a job, a relationship, I can
[52:54] choose. I'm beginning to see that I have
[52:57] the power to do this. And your
[53:00] subconscious mind goes on to say, "Yeah,
[53:04] I can do that. I can do that. I can
[53:07] accept that."
[53:09] And so it starts to embrace these
[53:13] receptive affirmations as potential
[53:15] truth. Eventually, you'll get to the
[53:18] absolute that yes, I am valuable. I am
[53:20] worthy because my worthiness comes from
[53:24] divine source, not from anybody else's
[53:27] illusions, delusions, and psych
[53:31] psychological
[53:33] screw-up.
[53:35] Not from any of that. It comes from my
[53:38] divine source. So, I can get to the
[53:41] absolute I am valuable. Yes, I can do
[53:44] this. There's so much about affirmation
[53:48] that you need to know. We um there are
[53:51] chemical affirmations. You can change
[53:53] the biochemistry
[53:55] of your brain to create more happiness
[53:58] by doing directive affirmatives to your
[54:01] body. You can change neurotransmitters,
[54:04] neuropathways in the brain. Shift all of
[54:06] this energy through affirmative
[54:10] direction. Then we do not have time to
[54:12] go into that, but it's all in unlimited
[54:15] abundance. So, I hope you check that
[54:16] out. Anyway, so these beliefs can be
[54:20] choices and these beliefs change the
[54:24] energy because they change your
[54:26] thoughts,
[54:28] your emotions, and the vibrations that
[54:32] you send out. Remember, it's your whole
[54:34] life force. You can do vision boards and
[54:38] visualize your end results. But if you
[54:40] get up in the morning and criticize
[54:42] yourself in the mirror and hate your
[54:45] life and resent your job, that is the
[54:49] energy, the highly charged emotional
[54:51] energy that goes out in front of you and
[54:55] determines what you get, what you get
[54:57] back. That's the energy. The second key
[55:02] to unlocking the door, you can change
[55:05] this energy adjacent possibilities.
[55:08] Every time you do that, you go into your
[55:10] take your life into a different
[55:12] direction, a wonderful new direction.
[55:16] [snorts] So, let's talk about the third
[55:18] key to unlocking
[55:21] the doors to abundance, prosperity,
[55:25] happiness,
[55:27] and that is intention. The intention
[55:30] is actually a source of two laws. Two
[55:35] laws of manifestation and attraction.
[55:39] First is the law of pure desire.
[55:43] Now the law of pure desire
[55:46] says that you have to create desires
[55:50] that are unconlicted. They are pure and
[55:54] you believe in them. Let me give you
[55:57] some examples of what an unconlicted
[55:59] desire is. An unconlicted desire is
[56:03] something like, "Oh, I want to find
[56:07] love, but you know, I've been hurt so
[56:10] much. I really
[56:13] want to protect myself. I don't want to
[56:14] go through that again.
[56:17] This is a conflicting intention. I want
[56:19] love, but I don't want to hurt. so I
[56:22] better protect myself.
[56:25] Another one would be I want to go for
[56:28] that promotion. I want to do something
[56:32] different in this company. And then you
[56:35] might have a thought, well, you know,
[56:39] the boss doesn't really like me. I don't
[56:42] know if I have the education for it.
[56:45] These are conflicting intentions.
[56:50] They shift the energy
[56:54] of what you want into something you
[56:58] actually resist.
[57:00] You might have the thought, I want to
[57:02] start my own business. I want to start
[57:04] my own company,
[57:06] but you know, I don't know if I could
[57:09] make it on my own. I'm pretty sure I
[57:12] can't make it on my own. That self-doubt
[57:16] counters the intention of I want to
[57:19] start my own company.
[57:21] This is so important. Most of us don't
[57:24] even realize we have conflicting
[57:27] intentions.
[57:29] So we have to take the conflict
[57:31] [clears throat] out.
[57:33] We have to realize that the universe
[57:36] serves the most highly emotionally
[57:40] charged intention.
[57:43] Unfortunately,
[57:45] our feelings of self-doubt,
[57:48] fear, worry,
[57:51] dismissal,
[57:53] limitation in the universe, those are
[57:55] often much more highly emotionally
[57:59] charged than our simple desires
[58:03] to find love.
[58:06] This to find a new job. This is all
[58:11] conflicted. So we need to change our
[58:15] daily energy and align our intentions
[58:18] and our life force with the truth that I
[58:21] was talking about with the truth.
[58:26] A truth like I deserve love and it's
[58:30] safe for me.
[58:32] I'm learning that I really deserve love.
[58:35] And I am beginning to believe it is safe
[58:38] for me. It's safe and comfortable for me
[58:41] to love and be loved.
[58:45] I am capable
[58:47] of getting that promotion
[58:51] and I deserve it. I am powerful enough
[58:55] to start my own business and make it a
[58:59] success.
[59:01] These are the things you want to weave
[59:03] into your life. The beliefs about
[59:05] yourself that shift your energy
[59:09] and take the emotion of the resistant,
[59:12] the negative view of your desire away.
[59:17] And when we do this, we have to open our
[59:20] hearts to the truth of all of these
[59:24] views of our desires.
[59:26] And then you know what we have to do?
[59:29] We have to surrender and let go.
[59:34] Surrender and let go. Why?
[59:38] Because we trust ourselves and we trust
[59:41] in the universe to bring us what we
[59:44] want. Also because
[59:47] it's an energy of
[59:50] the law of paradoxical intent.
[59:54] The second law of intention. Now the law
[59:58] of paradoxical intent says that the more
[1:00:02] desperate you are to achieve a certain
[1:00:07] desired outcome, the more your needy,
[1:00:11] urgent, toxic energy will actually push
[1:00:15] it away,
[1:00:17] will actually stop it from coming to
[1:00:20] you.
[1:00:22] But why do we get desperate?
[1:00:26] We we tend to we long to achieve certain
[1:00:30] things.
[1:00:31] Why do we get desperate? We get
[1:00:33] desperate because of the constructs that
[1:00:36] we create in our lives. Now what's a
[1:00:38] construct? A construct attaches an
[1:00:42] emotion to an outside experience.
[1:00:47] An emotional experience for ourselves to
[1:00:50] an external
[1:00:52] event.
[1:00:54] So there are constructs like if I only
[1:00:58] had a husband then I would be happy.
[1:01:02] Well I can tell you a number of people
[1:01:05] another number of women who would say
[1:01:07] that's not the case. [snorts] But see we
[1:01:11] believe this. We think if I only had a
[1:01:13] love then I would be happy.
[1:01:16] If I only had a promotion or got more
[1:01:22] money, then I would be secure, then I
[1:01:25] would feel successful.
[1:01:30] If I only lost weight, then I could
[1:01:34] accept myself. Then I could accept
[1:01:36] myself.
[1:01:38] Now, these are sad ways to live. If
[1:01:41] they're the undercurrent of our lives
[1:01:44] that we're living with this assumption,
[1:01:47] what happens to the present moment?
[1:01:51] The present moment becomes valueless
[1:01:54] because I don't have that husband. I
[1:01:57] haven't lost the weight. I haven't
[1:01:59] gotten the promotion or the increase
[1:02:01] money. So, I can only be miserable now.
[1:02:06] Oh my god. What kind of energy does this
[1:02:10] send out?
[1:02:12] What kind of consciousness does it send
[1:02:15] out? When you live with this as your
[1:02:21] filter,
[1:02:23] then nothing else can raise your
[1:02:26] vibration enough
[1:02:28] to change that energy and attract the
[1:02:34] very thing that you're longing for. You
[1:02:37] won't get the love that you're longing
[1:02:39] for. You might get love, but it might
[1:02:42] not be a happy life. You might get the
[1:02:45] promotion, but it might might not be the
[1:02:47] money you want or make you happy in your
[1:02:50] job. If you're living with these
[1:02:53] constructs and with paradoxical intent,
[1:02:55] it's next to impossible to create the
[1:02:59] energy
[1:03:01] that you desire
[1:03:04] to attract
[1:03:07] the very things you want.
[1:03:10] So what does that mean? To avoid
[1:03:14] the energies and the requirements of the
[1:03:18] law of paradoxical intent, we must
[1:03:20] release fear. We must release
[1:03:23] desperation.
[1:03:25] We must release all orno thinking. I've
[1:03:30] got to have it all or my life is
[1:03:34] meaningless. Now,
[1:03:36] we must stay in the present and look for
[1:03:40] things to enjoy.
[1:03:43] Look for things that make us happy now.
[1:03:47] And as we're happy, we're engaging in
[1:03:51] trust and really allowing oursel to go
[1:03:55] through the present and go through the
[1:03:57] process. Work on our goals. Surely work
[1:04:01] on your goals. It doesn't mean you
[1:04:02] dismiss your goal. You still work on it.
[1:04:05] You just dismiss the desperation.
[1:04:08] That's the clue to real achievement.
[1:04:13] Peaceful pursuit with self-rust and
[1:04:16] present joy
[1:04:19] and allowing yourself to be flexible.
[1:04:22] Let yourself open up to all the options
[1:04:26] you have for happiness.
[1:04:28] All of the wonderful things that you can
[1:04:32] find in this moment
[1:04:36] to make you happy.
[1:04:39] Choosing joy.
[1:04:42] Choosing
[1:04:44] a real sense of your value
[1:04:48] and the gift this present moment gives
[1:04:52] you. No matter what you're working on,
[1:04:54] no matter how far away it seems,
[1:04:59] you have to be patient
[1:05:01] and persistent.
[1:05:05] There's a wonderful story about a lady
[1:05:08] who was a gardener
[1:05:11] and she bought this very special bamboo
[1:05:14] plant and she cleared the yard and
[1:05:16] cleared the weeds and
[1:05:19] planted the bamboo plant and she watered
[1:05:23] it, put food on it, kept weeding around
[1:05:26] it. Nothing happened for the first year,
[1:05:30] but she went out and she did the same
[1:05:32] thing. took care of the land, made sure
[1:05:35] she watered and nurtured it. And then
[1:05:38] the second year, nothing happened. By
[1:05:41] the third year, when nothing happened,
[1:05:43] her friends and her family were saying,
[1:05:44] "You're crazy. It's obviously dead. Stop
[1:05:48] working on it." But she just trusted and
[1:05:51] kept believing.
[1:05:53] And do you know what? During those first
[1:05:56] four years,
[1:05:58] this plant was sending down roots,
[1:06:02] strong, powerful roots
[1:06:06] that could support the growth because in
[1:06:10] the fifth year, the bamboo plant grew 50
[1:06:14] ft in one year.
[1:06:18] And this is a demonstration of how your
[1:06:23] work now is planting the roots of your
[1:06:27] success. Don't give up. Don't become
[1:06:30] desperate and urgent. Keep working on
[1:06:33] it. All the while you're creating
[1:06:35] happiness now because your happiness now
[1:06:39] is as strong of an attractor of the
[1:06:42] results as your work on your project.
[1:06:46] They come together to get a response out
[1:06:50] of the universe giving you re
[1:06:53] irresistible irresistible
[1:06:56] attraction.
[1:06:58] So be patient, keep working on it,
[1:07:02] create happiness in the present, trust
[1:07:04] in the future and trust in yourself.
[1:07:08] And in time, you'll be sending out the
[1:07:13] beautiful consciousness,
[1:07:15] the resonant energy,
[1:07:19] and the powerful intentions
[1:07:22] to make your goals a reality and to
[1:07:25] bring you the life that you truly
[1:07:28] desire.
[1:07:31] It's a wonderful process.
[1:07:43] As we come to the end of this program,
[1:07:44] I'd like to add one of the most
[1:07:46] important findings that I discovered
[1:07:48] through this new research on epigenetics
[1:07:50] and quantum physics.
[1:07:52] This insight deals with the nature of
[1:07:54] spirituality. When I was a child, I
[1:07:57] heard advice from many spiritual people,
[1:08:00] but as a child, I saw that their words
[1:08:02] never really matched their lives. So the
[1:08:04] value of that spiritual lesson never
[1:08:06] really applied in my life at all. In
[1:08:09] fact, I actually gravitated towards
[1:08:11] science because I saw that a truth in
[1:08:12] science is true on this side of the
[1:08:14] planet as it is true on the other side
[1:08:16] of the planet. So I saw more truth in
[1:08:18] going into the realm of science than
[1:08:21] entertaining the notion of spirituality.
[1:08:24] Well, as we end this particular lesson,
[1:08:26] I'd like to go back to our pyramid of
[1:08:28] science and said, look, we've talked
[1:08:29] about the established sciences so far.
[1:08:32] Mathematics leading to physics, physics
[1:08:34] leading to chemistry, chemistry leading
[1:08:36] to biology, and the biology resulting in
[1:08:38] psychology. I now want to add a new
[1:08:41] floor to our building based on the
[1:08:43] quantum physics and epigenetic research.
[1:08:46] And that new floor that I want to add is
[1:08:48] called spirit. Spirituality.
[1:08:51] spirituality in my vision has a
[1:08:53] scientific connection and I'd like to
[1:08:55] describe it for you. Before we get into
[1:08:59] the understanding of the cell part, I
[1:09:01] want to go back to the nature of quantum
[1:09:03] physics and we talked about the field in
[1:09:06] quantum physics. The energy in which we
[1:09:08] are immersed is really solely
[1:09:10] responsible for the structure of matter.
[1:09:14] So the field according to Einstein is
[1:09:17] the sole governing agency of matter. So
[1:09:19] what is the field? Well, we talked about
[1:09:21] as the invisible energy spectrum, but
[1:09:24] let me give another definition. The
[1:09:26] field represents invisible moving forces
[1:09:29] that influence the physical world. I go,
[1:09:33] well, yeah, that's that's a definition
[1:09:34] of the field. And I go, well, it's
[1:09:36] interesting because there's another
[1:09:38] word, spirit, and spirit has the exact
[1:09:41] same definition, invisible moving forces
[1:09:44] that influence the physical world. So in
[1:09:47] a sense field and spirit can be equal to
[1:09:51] each other. Spirit representing an
[1:09:53] energy a metaphysical version of it an
[1:09:55] energy that influences our lives. And in
[1:09:58] quantum physics the word field is a
[1:10:00] physical not metaphysical energy that
[1:10:03] influences our lives. So spirit has a
[1:10:06] foundation in the fact that invisible
[1:10:08] forces are very important in unfolding
[1:10:12] the lives that we lead. Now when I was
[1:10:16] understanding that and I began to
[1:10:17] understand the nature of the cell
[1:10:19] membrane as the brain of the cell at
[1:10:21] that incident in time my whole life was
[1:10:23] rocked for a very important reason and
[1:10:26] it was rocked based on this. What I got
[1:10:29] into when I saw that the membrane being
[1:10:31] the brain of cell was controlling a
[1:10:33] cell. I also recognized an important
[1:10:35] fact and that is this. There are no two
[1:10:38] biological entities that are exactly the
[1:10:40] same. And how can I say that? And the
[1:10:42] answer is simply this. If you take cells
[1:10:44] from your body and put it into any other
[1:10:47] human's body, your cells will be
[1:10:49] rejected as not self. And if anybody
[1:10:53] else's cells are put into your body,
[1:10:54] your immune system will eliminate those
[1:10:56] cells and reject them as not self. Well,
[1:11:00] there's a very important point in this
[1:11:02] and that is cells have identity to them.
[1:11:04] Your identity is on your cells and
[1:11:07] another person has a different identity
[1:11:09] on their cells. So I said, "So where is
[1:11:12] the identity to be found in a cell?"
[1:11:15] Well, I picked two cell types that are
[1:11:17] exactly the same. They could be in this
[1:11:20] case two liver cells, two muscle cells,
[1:11:22] two brain cells, two skin cells. I just
[1:11:24] wanted two cells that are exactly the
[1:11:25] same for the important reason is this.
[1:11:27] The cytoplasm of those cells are
[1:11:29] carrying out essentially the exact same
[1:11:31] function. So most of the cell is
[1:11:33] designed to carry out the function in
[1:11:35] this case liver function. But I also
[1:11:38] said there's something that says that
[1:11:41] cells can be different when they come
[1:11:42] from different people. So in this case,
[1:11:44] I have two liver cells, but one is from
[1:11:46] Bruce and the other is from Margaret. I
[1:11:49] say, okay, what's the significance of
[1:11:51] that? I say, well, if I take my liver
[1:11:52] cell, Bruce's liver cell, and stick it
[1:11:54] into Margaret's body, her immune system
[1:11:56] will reject it as not self. If
[1:11:58] Margaret's liver cell is put into my
[1:12:00] body, my immune system will reject it as
[1:12:02] not self. The point is our cells have an
[1:12:05] identity beyond the fact that they're
[1:12:06] liver cells. So here's what I'm going to
[1:12:09] do. I'm going to remove the color from
[1:12:11] the image of everything where the
[1:12:13] cytoplasm is exactly the same with the
[1:12:17] idea of leaving behind the color of the
[1:12:20] image where two cells differ from each
[1:12:23] other in regard to identity. Now I know
[1:12:26] the nuclei are not exactly the same but
[1:12:28] as we talked about in an earlier lesson
[1:12:30] I can remove the nucleus from the cell.
[1:12:33] So in this case, let's pretend I remove
[1:12:34] the nucleus. Now what I'm going to do is
[1:12:36] remove the color of everything that is
[1:12:39] the same between the two liver cells,
[1:12:41] leaving behind the differences which
[1:12:42] would relate to the identity of Bruce
[1:12:44] and Margaret. And as you remove the
[1:12:46] color, what do you see? The remaining
[1:12:48] color that's left uh is represented by
[1:12:52] the membrane of the cell. There's
[1:12:54] something in the membrane that
[1:12:55] distinguishes our personal identity. And
[1:12:58] what it turns out, there are receptors.
[1:13:00] Those proteins with antennas on them,
[1:13:03] there are a group of receptors that
[1:13:05] represent an identity. No two people
[1:13:08] have the same identity receptors in
[1:13:11] their cells. So each person is
[1:13:14] different. I say, well, what do you call
[1:13:16] these receptors? Well, science studies a
[1:13:18] few of them. And interestingly enough,
[1:13:20] what do they call these receptors that
[1:13:22] give identity? They call them self
[1:13:25] receptors. Now in our conventional
[1:13:28] materialistic science perception of the
[1:13:30] world based on matter, they look at the
[1:13:33] receptor population as being the source
[1:13:36] of where the difference comes from.
[1:13:38] Unfortunately, they're missing the
[1:13:40] point. Proteins respond to environmental
[1:13:43] signals. So I may have different
[1:13:46] receptors on my cells than you have in
[1:13:48] regard to self receptors. It's not the
[1:13:50] receptor that's important. It's the
[1:13:53] signal from the environment that's
[1:13:54] picked up by the receptor. And that's
[1:13:56] the story we've been talking about.
[1:13:58] Receptors read environmental signals and
[1:14:00] then control the cell with those
[1:14:02] signals. Now, what do we find? That two
[1:14:05] people are different from each other
[1:14:07] because no two people have the exact
[1:14:09] same set of self receptors. And the self
[1:14:12] receptors are so critical in medicine
[1:14:14] for this reason. If you want to
[1:14:15] transplant an organ from person A into
[1:14:18] recipient B, you just can't pick any
[1:14:21] person's organ and transplant it. You
[1:14:23] have to look at the self receptors
[1:14:26] between the donor and the recipient.
[1:14:28] What's the point? To see how many of
[1:14:30] this population can match. The more
[1:14:33] matching of receptors between a donor
[1:14:36] and a receiver of the organ means that
[1:14:39] the receiver of that organ will not
[1:14:41] aggressively remove those cells with
[1:14:44] their immune system. That's called
[1:14:46] tissue matching. And this is why you
[1:14:48] just can't pick anybody's heart and put
[1:14:50] it in anybody else. But you can find a
[1:14:52] heart that matches as many receptors as
[1:14:54] it can on your cells. Well, then that
[1:14:56] heart would be a good fit for you. So
[1:14:59] basically, the self receptors are
[1:15:01] specific for each individual and they're
[1:15:04] located in the outer membrane of the
[1:15:06] cell. Now, let's do a simple experiment.
[1:15:08] In this case, what I'm going to do is
[1:15:10] remove the self receptors from my cell.
[1:15:12] Well, guess what? Without self receptors
[1:15:14] on the cell, it's just a liver cell.
[1:15:16] It's a human liver cell. It can be
[1:15:19] transplanted into any human and never be
[1:15:21] rejected because all of us have livers.
[1:15:24] Now what I do though is I go to
[1:15:26] Margaret's cell, remove her self
[1:15:29] receptors from her cell and transplant
[1:15:31] them onto my cell. And I said, well,
[1:15:34] what does that lead to? And the answer
[1:15:35] is very simply this. Once I transplant
[1:15:38] Margaret's receptors onto my cell, it's
[1:15:41] no longer my cell anymore. Because if I
[1:15:43] took that cell and put it back into my
[1:15:44] body from where it came, my immune
[1:15:47] system would reject it as not self.
[1:15:49] Interestingly, I can take my cell with
[1:15:51] her receptors on it, implanted into her
[1:15:54] body, and she will accept it as self. I
[1:15:58] transferred ownership of the cells by
[1:16:00] transferring these receptors from one
[1:16:03] individual to cells of another
[1:16:06] individual. So, what's the story line
[1:16:09] leading us to?
[1:16:10] Well, look at it this way. Consider an
[1:16:13] analogy that a cell or a body is like a
[1:16:16] television set and there are antennas on
[1:16:19] a television set. And when I turn on
[1:16:21] that television set, that's where we get
[1:16:22] that program that comes across. And then
[1:16:24] I say, well, where did the program come
[1:16:26] from? And some people might say, oh, the
[1:16:28] program came from the antenna, the
[1:16:30] receptor. I go, the program didn't come
[1:16:33] from the antenna. The program was picked
[1:16:36] up by the antenna and it came from
[1:16:40] where? The environment. The signals that
[1:16:43] activate these self receptors come from
[1:16:45] the environment. That's why the
[1:16:47] receptors are on the outside of the
[1:16:48] cell. So now I say, okay, instead of a
[1:16:51] television set, let's turn this into a
[1:16:53] cell. And I say, yeah, the cell has
[1:16:55] antennas on it. We call them receptors.
[1:16:57] And the receptors that we're
[1:16:59] specifically talking about are called
[1:17:01] self receptors. And I say yes, the self
[1:17:04] receptors receive an environmental
[1:17:06] signal. I say what is that signal? What
[1:17:08] does it represent? And I say what it
[1:17:10] really represents is this. It represents
[1:17:12] your identity. Your identity is some
[1:17:15] signal picked up in the environment and
[1:17:17] played through your antenna. Well, this
[1:17:20] becomes very important because it says
[1:17:22] this.
[1:17:24] You as an identity represent an energy
[1:17:27] field. In this case, energy field could
[1:17:29] also be called spirit because field and
[1:17:31] spirit share the same definition. So
[1:17:34] let's call it a spirit field. A spirit
[1:17:36] that is unique to you, a field that's
[1:17:39] unique to you is picked up by a unique
[1:17:42] set of antennas on your cell. Relevance
[1:17:45] is this. Your identity is not from the
[1:17:50] cell. Your identity came from the
[1:17:52] environment.
[1:17:54] This is a very important understanding
[1:17:56] for this reason because let's go back to
[1:17:59] the analogy of a television set. Let's
[1:18:01] say you're watching a show on television
[1:18:03] and the television breaks. We say, "Oh,
[1:18:05] the television's dead." I go, "Yeah, the
[1:18:07] television's dead. It's not working
[1:18:08] anymore." But my question is now, "Did
[1:18:11] the broadcast die when the television
[1:18:14] died?" I go, "No." You say, "Well, how
[1:18:16] do you know?" I say, "Because I can get
[1:18:18] another television set, plug it in, turn
[1:18:21] it on, and when I tune it to the exact
[1:18:23] same station, the show was back on the
[1:18:25] air." I go, "Oh,
[1:18:28] then get this. We have an identity from
[1:18:32] an environmental broadcast that which
[1:18:34] makes us each a unique individual." If
[1:18:37] our body dies, it's like the television
[1:18:40] set. It's no longer working. But the
[1:18:42] question is, did our identity field that
[1:18:44] was in the environment die at the same
[1:18:46] time? time. And the answer is no. It's
[1:18:48] still there. And I said, "Well, then
[1:18:50] what will happen?" I say, "If a cell in
[1:18:52] the future, a future embryo shows up
[1:18:54] with the same set of receptors that you
[1:18:56] have on your cell right now, you're back
[1:18:59] online again, but now in a different
[1:19:02] body. Does it make a difference if it's
[1:19:04] a male or female body?" Nope. That's the
[1:19:06] equivalent of the television set. Does
[1:19:08] it make a difference if it's a white or
[1:19:10] black or red or yellow body? And I go,
[1:19:12] "No, that's the television set. You are
[1:19:15] not the television. You are the spirit
[1:19:18] that is playing through this television.
[1:19:21] Well, once I recognized this, the
[1:19:24] concept that we're immortal beings, but
[1:19:26] we're not immortal physical beings.
[1:19:28] We're immortal energy beings in the
[1:19:30] field and that we can come and play in
[1:19:32] this world when a cell or an organism
[1:19:35] has the same set of receptors to
[1:19:37] download our program. Well, my life was
[1:19:40] shocked. The first thing that shocked me
[1:19:42] was you can't die. you're not even in
[1:19:45] here. That was pretty exciting moment.
[1:19:48] And really what happened at that moment
[1:19:50] was this great weight was lifted off my
[1:19:52] life. And I said, what was that? It was
[1:19:54] there all the time, but I didn't know
[1:19:55] it. But now I know what it is. Ever
[1:19:58] since we were children, we learned that
[1:20:01] we ultimately die. And that fear of
[1:20:05] mortality exists within us every day of
[1:20:08] our life. In fact, that fear of our
[1:20:11] losing our mortality at this point is
[1:20:15] that we have to watch out everything in
[1:20:17] the environment, anything that can
[1:20:19] threaten us. And so what does that mean?
[1:20:21] It says we become hypervigilant of
[1:20:23] everything for what? To protect
[1:20:25] ourselves from dying. Well, what
[1:20:27] happened is the moment I realized I
[1:20:29] could not die and to me it was a
[1:20:31] scientific fact just as much as 2 plus 2
[1:20:33] is four. I realize if I can't die, well
[1:20:37] then I'm an immortal being at this
[1:20:39] point. And as an immortal being, then I
[1:20:41] lost the fear of death. At that moment,
[1:20:44] the fear of death lifted from me. And
[1:20:46] all of a sudden, that's what lightened
[1:20:48] my life. When all of a sudden, you
[1:20:51] really begin to own that you are not
[1:20:53] this body, that you are an energy
[1:20:56] source, an information, a field of
[1:20:58] awareness that we would call spirit in
[1:21:01] this particular case. And then all of a
[1:21:04] sudden an important question came into
[1:21:07] my mind not having been a spiritual
[1:21:09] person and then instantly owning okay I
[1:21:13] see the mechanism okay I understand I'm
[1:21:15] spiritual I was left with a very
[1:21:17] important question in my head and the
[1:21:20] question was this why have a spirit and
[1:21:24] a body why not just be a spirit well as
[1:21:28] I pondered that question the exciting
[1:21:30] thing was an answer welled from 50
[1:21:33] trillion cells in my body and popped
[1:21:34] into my head. I asked why have both a
[1:21:37] spirit and a body and the humorous 70
[1:21:40] trillion cells that live in my body
[1:21:42] responded with a question asking me
[1:21:45] saying Bruce if you're just a spirit
[1:21:48] what does chocolate taste like and all
[1:21:51] of a sudden I said oh my god the senses
[1:21:54] that we have sight sound smell taste
[1:21:57] touch the feelings of emotion and love
[1:22:00] and all that these experiences derive
[1:22:03] from a physical body the cells
[1:22:05] translating an environment through our
[1:22:07] nervous system. And what does the
[1:22:09] nervous system do? It translates that
[1:22:11] environmental information into
[1:22:12] vibrational frequencies. Yes, I see a
[1:22:15] picture with my eyes, but a picture is
[1:22:17] not going through my optic nerve.
[1:22:19] Vibrational frequencies are going
[1:22:20] through my optic nerve. When I touch
[1:22:23] something, I can feel it, but I don't
[1:22:25] actually physically touch that in my
[1:22:27] brain. What is my brain receiving?
[1:22:29] Vibrational frequencies of touch. Ah, so
[1:22:32] my nervous system converts the
[1:22:34] environment into sensation. I went, "Oh,
[1:22:38] then a body is like a virtual reality
[1:22:41] suit. If you're a spirit, you can
[1:22:44] contemplate and have imagination, but
[1:22:46] you can't experience." Why? The
[1:22:48] experience comes from the body's cells
[1:22:50] that translate our life into the
[1:22:53] vibrations which are sent back to our
[1:22:55] source. And then I said, "Oh my
[1:22:58] goodness, I realized something that was
[1:23:00] so exciting that we came here to have
[1:23:03] experiences. We came here to create
[1:23:06] life." And what's interesting is most of
[1:23:08] us got lost in our our plan of creation
[1:23:11] because most of us were programmed with
[1:23:14] programs that take us away from that
[1:23:16] destination. In fact, a very interesting
[1:23:18] insight is this. Let's take a look at
[1:23:21] three cells. And what's different about
[1:23:23] these three cells is one cell is a
[1:23:26] Muslim cell, one cell is a Jewish cell
[1:23:30] and one cell is a Christian cell. Now
[1:23:33] these are entirely different beliefs.
[1:23:35] And I say, but where do these beliefs
[1:23:36] come from? And the answer is this. They
[1:23:39] come from programs that we acquire
[1:23:42] during the first seven years of our
[1:23:43] lives. And I say, well then are the
[1:23:45] cells really different? Is a Christian
[1:23:47] cell different than a Muslim cell? And I
[1:23:49] go, absolutely not. You know why? All
[1:23:52] cells have the same source. We all came
[1:23:55] from the same source. It's only our
[1:23:57] programs that separate us and
[1:23:59] differentiate us into different
[1:24:01] populations with different beliefs. So I
[1:24:05] come to a radical conclusion of all
[1:24:07] this. And the radical conclusion is
[1:24:09] simply this.
[1:24:11] There's the belief that we bought into
[1:24:14] that we are born and then when we die,
[1:24:18] our spirit goes to heaven.
[1:24:21] I would like to suggest a different
[1:24:24] understanding.
[1:24:26] And it works like this.
[1:24:29] Consider that the fact that we'd like to
[1:24:32] know what Mars is like, but we can't get
[1:24:34] there. I say, "Well, how would I know
[1:24:36] what Mars is like? I can't ever get
[1:24:37] there." And I say, "Yeah, but we can
[1:24:39] send up a rocket that carries something
[1:24:41] like the Mars rover." I say, "But the
[1:24:43] Mars rover, that's like a little go-kart
[1:24:45] with fancy apparatus on it." I said,
[1:24:47] "That's not my life on Mars." I said,
[1:24:50] "Yes, it is for this reason." The
[1:24:52] sensory devices on the Mars rover are
[1:24:55] sensory devices that correspond with our
[1:24:58] senses. Yes, there are eyes on the
[1:25:00] rover, cameras to see where it's going
[1:25:02] and what it's doing. There are
[1:25:04] temperature receptors. There are
[1:25:06] receptors to read the composition of the
[1:25:08] atmosphere and of the environment in
[1:25:10] which this rover finds itself. I say,
[1:25:12] "Well, then how does it work?" And I go,
[1:25:14] "Very simply this. There's a guy at
[1:25:16] NASA. They send up the rover and while
[1:25:20] the rover is on Mars, the guy at NASA
[1:25:22] sends signals to drive the rover around.
[1:25:25] As the rover is being driven around, the
[1:25:28] rover is picking up information about
[1:25:30] the environment and doing what?
[1:25:32] Converting it to signals that it sends
[1:25:34] back to the guy at NASA. So the guy at
[1:25:37] NASA and driving the vehicle around gets
[1:25:39] to have what experience it would be like
[1:25:42] if a human was actually on the planet,
[1:25:44] what the temperatures would be like,
[1:25:46] what the environment would be like. And
[1:25:48] yet the guy at NASA is not even there.
[1:25:50] And then I say, "Wait, so the rover's
[1:25:53] going around and it's actually creating
[1:25:55] a virtual identity of a person on Mars
[1:25:58] that's sending back a report." And then
[1:26:00] I say, "Yeah, but if the batteries on
[1:26:02] the rover dies, does that mean the guy
[1:26:05] at NASA died, too?" The answer, "Of
[1:26:07] course not. If the rover dies, the guy
[1:26:10] in NASA is still there. What can he do?
[1:26:13] Send up another rover." Guess what? I
[1:26:16] bet you the next rover he sends up won't
[1:26:18] be exactly the same as the first rover
[1:26:20] he sent up. So, it comes with a
[1:26:21] different body the next time.
[1:26:24] The point about this is what I'm
[1:26:26] thinking is Earth is like Mars in this
[1:26:29] case and we're spiritual entities and we
[1:26:32] want to know what is it like to live on
[1:26:35] Earth. So what do we have? The
[1:26:37] equivalent of a Mars rover but it's
[1:26:39] called the human body and that we step
[1:26:41] into this body with our spirit. And what
[1:26:44] does it do? It drives our body around.
[1:26:47] So we are creating our life and what's
[1:26:49] happening while we're driving it around.
[1:26:51] The experiences of the body are then
[1:26:53] being sent back via the nervous system
[1:26:55] to our source, our identity. And when I
[1:26:58] put that all together, it led to the
[1:27:00] biggest wow that I could ever imagine.
[1:27:03] To me, a personal cosmic joke about the
[1:27:06] universe. And that is this.
[1:27:08] We are led to believe that we are born,
[1:27:12] live on this planet, and when we die,
[1:27:15] that's when we go to heaven. And I go,
[1:27:17] "But what's heaven?" Well, you can ask
[1:27:19] 10 people and you're going to get 10
[1:27:20] different definitions of heaven. Heaven
[1:27:22] is a belief about an individual. It's a
[1:27:24] a perception that an individual holds
[1:27:27] about heaven. I go, "What's the
[1:27:29] relevance of that?" And I say,
[1:27:31] "Rather than die and go to heaven, think
[1:27:34] about it this way. You were born into
[1:27:37] the ability to inhabit this virtual
[1:27:39] reality suit." And I say, "What can you
[1:27:41] do with this suit?" I say, "You can move
[1:27:43] around and you can create life. You can
[1:27:45] create anything you want. As we
[1:27:47] mentioned, when you fall in love, you
[1:27:49] actually then turned earth into heaven
[1:27:50] at that moment. And then you live this
[1:27:54] life and when you die, you leave the
[1:27:57] suit behind, but the energy is still at
[1:28:00] the source. And I go, then what's the
[1:28:02] significance?
[1:28:05] This is where we come to create. This is
[1:28:07] where we manifest heaven. Don't wait
[1:28:10] till you die to make heaven. This is
[1:28:13] your opportunity not just to have an
[1:28:14] imagination of heaven, but to physically
[1:28:17] experience it, to come in and touch it
[1:28:19] and smell it and taste it and feel what
[1:28:22] love is all about. And so for me, the
[1:28:26] joke is, "Oh my goodness, don't wait to
[1:28:28] look for heaven after you are dead.
[1:28:31] Recognize this place, Earth, might
[1:28:34] actually be that heaven you were
[1:28:36] thinking about. And this is your
[1:28:39] opportunity to manifest the creation to
[1:28:42] do what? Create that vision that you
[1:28:45] have of what heaven is personally to
[1:28:48] you. And that was the exciting part of
[1:28:51] the new science for me because it
[1:28:53] changed my life and told me that this is
[1:28:56] the opportunity to experience and
[1:28:58] express heaven and my world. And this is
[1:29:02] what I have done using the new science
[1:29:04] and understanding the role of conscious
[1:29:07] and subconscious and unfolding this life
[1:29:10] and the ability of the energy to create
[1:29:13] everything that we do in this world. So
[1:29:15] when we come to this understanding, we
[1:29:18] realize that what an honor it is to have
[1:29:22] a biological body and be on this planet
[1:29:26] because this is where you come to
[1:29:28] manifest everything your heart desires.
