Refund terms are set by each organizer — BrightStar doesn’t impose a single policy, because a sliding-scale retreat and a sold-out concert have very different needs. What’s consistent is how you request one: pick your event, and we either refund you on the spot (if the organizer enabled self-serve refunds and you’re within the window) or pass your request straight to the organizer for a personal decision.
Requesting a refund
The fastest path:
- 1Open “Request a Refund” from the contact page or your tickets
- 2Choose the event you bought
- 3If the organizer offers instant refunds, you’ll see the exact amount before you confirm
- 4If not, send the request and the organizer replies in your Messages — usually within a day or two
A few good things to know
Canceled events are refunded automatically — you don’t need to ask. Rescheduled events keep your ticket valid for the new date; if you can’t make it, ask the organizer about a refund or transfer. Partial refunds can apply when an organizer’s policy returns a percentage closer to the event date — the amount is always shown before you confirm.
