Life happens, and sometimes events move or are called off. The short version: a cancellation means an automatic full refund — you don’t have to lift a finger — and a reschedule means your existing ticket simply carries over to the new date.

If you can’t make the new date

When an event is rescheduled and the new date doesn’t work:

  1. 1Open Messages or the contact page and reach the organizer
  2. 2Ask about a refund or transferring to a friend
  3. 3Organizers set their own policy for reschedules, so they’ll confirm what’s possible
  4. 4You’ll see their reply in your inbox
Refunds for canceled events return to your original payment method automatically — they can take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank.
