Life happens, and sometimes events move or are called off. The short version: a cancellation means an automatic full refund — you don’t have to lift a finger — and a reschedule means your existing ticket simply carries over to the new date.
If you can’t make the new date
When an event is rescheduled and the new date doesn’t work:
- 1Open Messages or the contact page and reach the organizer
- 2Ask about a refund or transferring to a friend
- 3Organizers set their own policy for reschedules, so they’ll confirm what’s possible
- 4You’ll see their reply in your inbox
Refunds for canceled events return to your original payment method automatically — they can take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank.
