BrightStar lets you save your ticket to Apple Wallet as a pass on your iPhone. The pass holds the QR code the door team scans, so you do not have to search your email on arrival.

Picture the doorway of an evening gathering: people settling in, shoes coming off, a short line forming. Your pass is already in Wallet, so you can open it and be welcomed in.

Where to find it

In your confirmation email: tap Add to Apple Wallet. It appears for in-person events.

In Dashboard → My Tickets: on each upcoming ticket, tap the Apple Wallet button next to View QR. It opens in a new tab.

Google Wallet is coming.

Adding your pass

On your iPhone:

  1. 1Tap the Add to Apple Wallet button.
  2. 2If your order holds one ticket, the pass opens in Wallet. Add it from there.
  3. 3If your order holds several tickets, you see a page with one card per ticket. Tap Add to Apple Wallet on each card.
  4. 4Check the event name, date and venue on the saved pass.

What your pass shows

The front of the pass shows the event title, the date and time, and the venue. Long dates and venue names are shortened to fit. Below that it shows your admission type. If your event has assigned seating, it also shows your section, row and seat.

The back of the pass shows the full admission name, your full seat details, the attendee name, the full address, and a reminder to show the pass to be scanned. Your name is attached to the code as its label. If the ticket has no attendee name, BrightStar uses the name on the order, or Guest.

If your order has several tickets

The page for a multi-ticket order shows each ticket as its own card. Each card lists the event, the ticket type, the attendee, any seat details and the venue, with its own Add to Apple Wallet button. This makes it easy to see which pass belongs to whom.

The link needs no sign-in, because it comes from your own confirmation email. BrightStar looks up the event, date, venue, name and seat when you tap it, so the pass shows the details as they are at that moment. Refunded tickets are left out. If a ticket cannot be found, you see a message that no valid tickets were found.
