Healing Workshop
Description
Integrated Energy Medicine is a healing workshop series on the subtle energy systems that underlie physical, mental, and emotional health. It is taught by Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D., through the Foundation of the Sacred Stream in Berkeley, California, with the two-day Immersion held in person at the Sacred Stream Center and also offered by live stream. It suits practitioners who already work with others in a healing capacity, such as massage therapists, and people who are new to energy work and want to learn how to perceive and work with the energy behind what they create.
What to Expect
The workshops are intensive and experiential. The emphasis is on training your perception and developing your own native approach to healing, so that your work becomes more grounded, precise, and natural. The material is meant to help you:
- Build confidence, clarity, and grounding in your healing abilities and intuitions.
- Perceive subtle energetic patterns and the principles that organize them more easily.
- Work with those patterns in practical ways to correct imbalance.
- Recognize the energetic underpinnings of most interactions and relate to others more effectively.
- Understand a client's issues at deeper levels.
The series has two formats. The Fundamentals of Integrated Energy Medicine sessions are hybrid, offered through distance learning, and each runs about an hour and a quarter. One begins at 9:00 am and the other at 11:00 am. The Integrated Energy Medicine Immersion takes place over a weekend, Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day, either in person in Berkeley or by live stream.
Past students describe practical results. One massage and healing practitioner writes that she has used the techniques almost every day since first learning them, including how to use her voice as an energetic tool in sessions. A long-time student of energy work says he has found no one else teaching this material.
About Isa Gucciardi
Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D., is a hypnotherapist and the Founding Director of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, a non-profit school for consciousness studies in Berkeley, founded in 2002. She is the creator of Depth Hypnosis, a therapeutic model, and the author of Coming to Peace. Her path into this work began early. She spent most of her early years in other countries before moving to the United States as a teenager, and she was struck by how little people around her wanted to talk about death. Years of volunteering in hospice settings, including the Zen Hospice Project, led her to a view she still holds: everyone grieves in their own way, and the most helpful thing is often to sit quietly and offer a non-judgmental space.
The Setting
The Immersion is held at the Sacred Stream Center in Berkeley, California. Those who cannot travel can join the same weekend by live stream, and the Fundamentals sessions are taught by distance learning.
Before You Go
No prior energy work is required to attend, and the workshops are designed for both established healing practitioners and newcomers. Sessions are taught in English. Choose in-person or live stream attendance for the Immersion according to what suits you.
