Circles for the Earth (Live Stream)

Circles for the Earth is a live stream spiritual gathering offered through the Distance Learning program of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, a school for consciousness studies based in Berkeley, California. It is open to anyone who wants to take part in a group practice from home, wherever they live, without travelling to the Sacred Stream Center.

The gathering is led within the Sacred Stream community, founded by Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D. It takes place by video conference, so participants join at the set time and take part together as a live circle.

What to Expect

Circles for the Earth is a one-hour evening session, held from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Pacific time. It is taught live in the Live Stream format, which means the class is not pre-recorded: students join at a scheduled time and participate as it happens.

The circle returns on a regular rhythm, generally one Sunday evening each month, so it is possible to come back to it through the year. Dates and times can change because of unforeseen circumstances, so check the current schedule before you plan your evening.

About Isa Gucciardi

Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D., is the Founding Director of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, a non-profit school for consciousness studies in Berkeley, California, founded in 2002. She is the creator of Depth Hypnosis, a therapeutic model, and the author of Coming to Peace.

Her path into this work began early. She spent most of her early years in other countries before moving to the United States as a teenager, and she was struck by how little people around her wanted to talk about death. Reading Elisabeth Kübler-Ross's On Death and Dying in the early seventies came as a relief. Years of volunteering in hospice settings, including the Zen Hospice Project, led her to a view she still holds: everyone grieves in their own way, and the most helpful thing is often to sit quietly and offer a non-judgmental space.

The Setting

This gathering takes place online, through the Distance Learning program based in Berkeley, CA. You join by video conference from wherever you are, so the space you create at home becomes part of the circle.
