Description
This somatic breathwork workshop is an evening group session for people who feel stuck in the body and want to release held emotion through breath, drum rhythm and sound. It is held at The Tree House in Ardamine, County Wexford, and is led by hypnotherapist and psychotherapist Lorelai I. Dali. Drawing on traditional shamanic drumming and somatic breathwork, it suits anyone who senses that talking therapies only went so far and that more is stored in the body.
What to Expect
The evening begins at 7pm with arrival and a gentle grounding opening, bringing attention out of the head and into the body and breath. From there the guided somatic breathwork begins. Your breathing is paced to live traditional drum rhythms, deep and steady patterns meant to help you drop out of the thinking mind and into embodied awareness.
The space is held for whatever arises: movement, sound, emotion or stillness. Nothing is required of you beyond staying with the breath and letting the experience unfold in its own way.
The final phase is integration, with gentle sound healing to help the body and energy settle into calm and balance. The session lasts roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. Places are limited to keep the room quiet and supportive.
About Lorelai I. Dali
Lorelai I. Dali is a hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, writer, artist and teacher who describes herself, most of all, as a student of the spiritual side of human nature. Her practice centres on inner child work and creativity for self-development, healing past traumas and spiritual growth, guiding people towards what she calls their True Self. She has worked with clients for over 15 years, drawing on psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, energy healing, art therapy and Vedic Art.
Her main tools for trauma work are regression to the sensitising event through hypnoanalysis, inner child work and Parts Work, alongside conscious conversation. She sees clients online and in person in North Co. Wexford, in English and Polish, and also leads workshops and self-love retreats. Her education began in music, and she graduated as a Music Teacher.
The Setting
The Tree House is in Ardamine, County Wexford. The evening takes place indoors, with participants lying on the floor for the breathwork. A small, friendly dog lives on the premises. If you are allergic or have a fear of dogs, please contact the organiser before booking.
Before You Go
No particular level of experience is stated, and the session is held in English. Because you will be lying down for the breathwork, bring your own mat, blanket and cushion, and wear loose, comfortable clothing. These are not provided.
Please contact the organiser before booking if you have a cardiovascular condition or epilepsy, or if you are pregnant.
Allow time afterwards to rest, hydrate and integrate rather than hurrying away. Individual one-to-one sessions are offered separately and are not part of this group evening.
