Healing Workshop
Description
Fundamentals of Integrated Energy Medicine is a hybrid healing workshop offered through the distance learning program of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, a school for consciousness studies in Berkeley, California. It is open to anyone curious about energy medicine and wanting an introduction to its basic principles, and you can take part from wherever you live. The Sacred Stream was founded by Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D., creator of the Depth Hypnosis model.
What to Expect
The workshop uses the hybrid format that the Sacred Stream applies to many of its distance learning courses. Classes combine pre-recorded video lectures with a live video conference meeting. You work through the recorded teaching on your own, then join the live session at its set time to take part with the group.
The live meeting is a single session of about an hour and a quarter, held in the morning Pacific time. It is offered more than once over the year, so check the schedule for the session that suits you. The organizer notes that class dates and times can change because of unforeseen circumstances, so confirm the details before you plan your day.
As the title suggests, this is a foundations course. For those who want to go further, the Sacred Stream also holds a longer Integrated Energy Medicine Immersion, offered in person at its Berkeley center and by live stream.
About Isa Gucciardi
Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D., is the Founding Director of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, a non-profit school for consciousness studies in Berkeley, California, founded in 2002. She is the creator of Depth Hypnosis, a therapeutic model, and the author of Coming to Peace.
Her path into this work began early. She spent most of her early years in other countries before moving to the United States as a teenager, and she was struck by how little people around her wanted to talk about death. Reading Elisabeth Kübler-Ross's On Death and Dying in the early seventies came as a relief. Years of volunteering in hospice settings, including the Zen Hospice Project, led her to a view she still holds: everyone grieves in their own way, and the most helpful thing is often to sit quietly and offer a non-judgmental space.
The Setting
This session is held as distance learning, so there is no travel involved. The Sacred Stream is based in Berkeley, California, and the live portion takes place by video conference.
