Why the Universe Responds to How You Feel, Not What You Say

Somewhere in the middle of a warm, laughter-filled conversation staged before a live audience, the teacher Wayne Dyer asks a question that sounds almost too simple: who is Abraham? The answer, delivered through the voice of Esther Hicks, is not a biography. It is a claim about what a human being is, namely a vibration and an extension of what the speakers call source energy, along with a practical instruction for living from that place. Hay House's 2024 video, which runs more than two and a half hours, returns again and again to one idea seen from several angles: the universe responds to the feeling you are broadcasting, not the sentences you speak. Shifting your results, on this account, means shifting your emotional alignment consistently, and that work begins well before you reach for a new affirmation. Along the way the conversation covers the momentum of the law of attraction, the mechanics of inspiration, a passage Dyer attributes to the ancient sage Patanjali, and some surprisingly concrete advice about the thoughts you carry to bed.

What happens when a stage conversation turns into a lesson on source?

The setting is loose and affectionate. Dyer, speaking to a room that has clearly come to hear him and the teachings he has long championed, tells the audience he has been listening to Abraham since the late 1980s, when someone sent him a large collection of cassette tapes. The two later made contact, he says, roughly a dozen years before this conversation. His verdict is unhedged: "I think it's the wisest and most profound teachings on the planet today." Hicks, for her part, jokes that Dyer has sold more of their books than they have, and the room laughs with them. That mix of reverence and ease sets the tone for everything that follows.

When Dyer asks who Abraham is, the reply is careful to resist simple categories. Abraham describes itself as "a collective consciousness, a vibration not different from that which all of you have access to." The difference, the video suggests, lies in focus. Hicks has spent years tuning herself so that she can, in the words Abraham uses, "hear us in a more pointed way." Abraham is also explicit that it does not dictate words: "we are not whispering words to Esther that she is repeating. We are offering blocks of thought and she is finding physical words that match those blocks of thought."

Dyer then widens the frame to the whole audience. He recalls saying that humans are not "having a spiritual experience" so much as "infinite spiritual beings just having a temporary human experience." Abraham agrees that people tend to imagine they come into a body, live a little while, get it right or wrong, and leave, when in fact "you are eternal. You never really leave." That single reframing sets up the rest of the talk: if you are a continuous extension of source, then the question is not how to acquire access, but how to stop blocking the access you already have.

Does the universe respond to what you say or how you feel?

The clearest and most usable teaching arrives near the very beginning, and it is worth quoting in full: "If you've had a hard day, you can't just say it different in the last five minutes because the universe doesn't hear what you say. The universe hears how you feel." (The opening exchange is not attributed to a single speaker in the transcript, but it sets the frame the whole conversation builds on.) The implication is that a sincere-sounding affirmation recited at the end of a bad day does not overwrite the emotional momentum that day produced.

From there the talk makes an unusual claim about timing. Because the universe responds to feeling, the speaker argues, your best chance of feeling good is "after a night of momentum slowing rather than after a day of momentum increasing." The reasoning is that you spend roughly eight hours asleep marinating in whatever thoughts you carried into bed. The video states that the law of attraction's momentum "is not active while you are unconscious." When you wake, you pick up where your propensity of thought already sits, which is why the emotional tone you close the day with tends to set the tone you open the next one with.

The remedy offered is not suppression. When you notice a negative train of thought, the advice is to make it more general and step back from it "if you can." A specific grievance, replayed in detail, keeps the frequency locked on the problem. Generalizing it loosens that grip. You are not pretending the situation is fine; you are declining to keep re-tuning your attention to its most painful particulars. For many people, this is the most transferable idea in the video, because it can be applied in the moment, without any belief system at all.

What are "blocks of thought," and why does inspiration arrive from them?

The phrase "blocks of thought" recurs throughout the conversation and is central to how Abraham explains inspiration. The argument runs like this: everyone is inspired at some point, but the source of that inspiration varies. As Abraham puts it: "You could be in a very bad mood and receive inspiration, but you're not receiving inspiration from source energy. You're receiving inspiration from blocks of thought that have been sort of left on the physical trail."

This is a subtle distinction and an important one. It suggests that not every flash of insight is equally aligned. Some ideas are simply residue of thought that others, or you, have already left circulating. Inspiration that comes from source, by contrast, is tied to a higher frequency of feeling. The practical question, then, is not whether you are inspired but what frequency you are inspired from. A person who is anxious and suddenly thinks of a clever solution may be real inspiration, but the talk would ask whether that clever solution arrives from a place of clarity or from the same loop of worry dressed up in a new costume.

Hicks, speaking through the conversation, describes the process as a kind of tuning. "It's a matter of tuning to high frequency and doing it consistently enough that there is consistency to what you're receiving." The aim is not a single peak experience. It is a steady practice that makes the signal reliable enough to notice.

Why is consistency the real hidden variable?

Perhaps the most disarming line in the video is an admission rather than an instruction. Abraham says: "you're all doing it. You just don't usually do it consistently. And Esther doesn't either." The talk does not present consistency as a trait possessed by enlightened teachers and missing from everyone else. It presents it as a shared human struggle, including for the channel through whom the teaching arrives.

The conversation also notes a structural advantage of the room itself. Abraham observes that "a forum like this, it's easy for her to do it because you all come expecting." Expectation, in this framing, is a kind of momentum, and the speakers say they ride in on "the desire momentum" that the audience brings. For a reader at home, the lesson is that your own surroundings matter: the people, rituals, and expectations you keep around you are doing part of the tuning whether you notice or not.

The positive state the talk describes is also specific. When you are in "your now moment" and have practiced yourself into a high-flying vibration, you are not "honory," not upset, not worried about anything. In that condition, the talk says, you allow inspiration to flow, and that is when clarity, passion, good timing, and even humor arrive. The description is less mystical than it sounds: it is a portrait of a mind that is no longer resisting.

What did Patanjali mean by dormant forces?

Dyer draws on a passage he attributes to Patanjali, a figure he places "a couple of thousand years ago," and he has written about the subject in his own book, Inspiration. The sage, as Dyer relays him, described what happens when a person is "inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project." Then, in Dyer's paraphrase, "all of your thoughts break their bonds, your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new and a great and a wonderful world."

The phrase that Dyer singles out is "dormant forces." The passage says that when you are inspired, "dormant forces, faculties, and talents come alive and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you've ever dreamt yourself to be." Dyer then adds that it is almost as if you discover yourself to be "God or source or the Dao or divine mind," whatever name one prefers for the energy the conversation keeps circling. This is the emotional payoff of the entire discussion. Inspiration is not a rare visitation to be waited for. It is the switch that wakes up capacities already present in you.

Why does the talk ask you to focus on what you want, not what you don't?

Two moments later in the conversation, the guidance becomes practical. The talk asks listeners to know what they actually want before trying to manifest it, and it warns against orienting attention primarily toward what one does not want. The video's language on this point, from around 137 minutes in, is that the work lies "not so much upon what we don't want." Around the 83-minute mark, the speakers note that "knowing what you do want" is the foundation for the rest.

This is where the earlier ideas converge. If the universe hears how you feel, and if inspiration arrives from whatever frequency you are tuned to, then fixating on what you fear or resent keeps your frequency in the wrong place. Clarity about desire does not mean a rigid shopping list. It means knowing the direction you are aiming your attention, so that generalizing a negative loop, stepping back from it, and returning to a steady high-frequency state all become possible.

Where to go from here

The most useful response to this video is not to memorize its vocabulary. It is to test a few of its claims in ordinary life. Notice the emotional tone you carry into sleep, and deliberately end your day on a note you would want to wake up inside. When a negative train of thought takes hold, practice the move the talk recommends: make it more general and step back from it. Ask, before acting on an idea, whether it feels like it came from clarity or from the same loop of worry in new clothes. And spend a few minutes each day stating, for yourself, what you actually want rather than what you are trying to escape.

For a deeper dive, watch the full Hay House video, which keeps returning to these ideas across its long conversation. Dyer's book Inspiration, which he mentions in the talk, is the natural companion for the Patanjali passage. The conversation is less a set of rules than an invitation to notice the frequency you are living in and to keep returning to it.

[0:01] If you've had a hard day, you can't just

[0:03] say it different in the last five

[0:05] minutes because the universe doesn't

[0:06] hear what you say. The universe hears

[0:08] how you feel. So, your best chance of

[0:11] really feeling good is after a night of

[0:14] momentum slowing rather than after a day

[0:17] of momentum increasing.

[0:19] That's very that's very very well said.

[0:22] Yeah,

[0:25] certainly it's always better to speak

[0:27] positively, but don't you find yourself

[0:30] sometimes challenging your own thoughts?

[0:33] People will say, "It's like my thoughts

[0:34] are thinking me." And we say, "Don't

[0:37] just if if you've got a negative train

[0:39] of thought going, you what you want to

[0:42] do is make it more general. If you can,

[0:45] just generalize it. Step back from it if

[0:48] you can." I'm just thinking in terms of

[0:50] uh you're [clears throat] going to sleep

[0:52] for eight hours, let's say, um and

[0:54] you're going to marinate in whatever

[0:56] thoughts that you have just filled

[0:58] yourself with.

[1:00] Really, that's the thing that we're

[1:01] really wanting to explain is that law of

[1:03] attraction, the momentum of law of

[1:05] attraction is not active while you are

[1:08] unconscious. Now it's logical that when

[1:12] you wake up you'll refocus and you'll

[1:16] get the that your propensity of thought

[1:18] is already there. But that can change

[1:20] with this new discussion about getting a

[1:24] different trajectory going.

[1:43] [music]

[1:47] Oh my goodness. I love you too. I love

[1:49] all of you. It's so nice to be here.

[1:53] [laughter]

[1:54] Well, somebody said, "What are you going

[1:57] to talk about?" And I said, "I don't

[1:58] know and I don't want to know."

[2:01] I didn't want to get anything in my

[2:03] head, but I like the idea of someone

[2:07] brilliant like this. [applause]

[2:11] Yeah.

[2:13] Talking to Abraham. What could be better

[2:15] than that? It's like co-creating at its

[2:18] best, isn't it?

[2:18] It really is. Since 1987

[2:22] or 88, I uh someone sent me a a big

[2:25] collection of cassette tapes and um I

[2:28] started listening to them and uh then we

[2:31] made contact maybe a dozen years or so

[2:33] ago and uh I've been just a incredible

[2:36] fan of Abraham. I think it's the wisest

[2:38] and most profound teachings on the

[2:40] planet today. Um,

[2:41] well,

[2:42] I do [applause]

[2:44] and

[2:45] Wayne has sold more of our books than we

[2:47] have. [laughter]

[2:49] I'm I'm a a true believer. I just know

[2:51] that this is, you know, when someone is

[2:54] telling you the truth and when you

[2:55] really feel the truth that's in your

[2:56] heart. Uh, and you know, you're being

[2:58] you're being told exactly the way things

[3:00] are.

[3:01] Resonance, huh?

[3:02] Yeah. It all it just resonates with me.

[3:03] It always has. And and you've never

[3:06] you've never missed in in the hundreds

[3:08] thousands perhaps of times I've heard

[3:09] you. Well, tonight

[3:10] you've never missed. [laughter]

[3:13] We never know. I'm going to go get

[3:15] Abraham. Is that all right with you?

[3:16] Do you need a GPS or anything like that

[3:18] or just

[3:19] It just takes a minute for me to clear

[3:21] my mind

[3:22] and they'll just um say, "Hey."

[3:25] Okay.

[3:26] Who you going to go get? [laughter]

[3:28] Yeah.

[3:30] I have a feeling you're going to go get

[3:31] Abraham, too. If you really want If you

[3:33] really want to know, I think that's what

[3:35] you've been doing for a while, too.

[3:37] Well, you know, there are many times

[3:38] when I do exactly feel that way as well.

[3:40] Yeah.

[3:41] Okay, here I go.

[3:44] [sighs]

[3:53] [sighs]

[4:01] It is nice to have an opportunity to

[4:04] visit

[4:09] co-creating at its best. Yes.

[4:11] Yes. [snorts]

[4:14] So now what? [laughter]

[4:17] I'd first just like you to just tell me

[4:21] and everyone watching and everyone here

[4:24] in this room who you are. Who is

[4:27] Abraham?

[4:28] For those who uh don't know, including

[4:30] me, would you would you tell us?

[4:35] The most important thing to explain is

[4:40] we are a collective consciousness,

[4:45] a vibration

[4:47] not different from that which all of you

[4:50] have access to.

[4:53] But because of Esther's focus over the

[4:56] years, she's managed to accomplish a

[5:00] frequency, so to speak, that allows her

[5:03] to hone in on us.

[5:07] She can hear us in a more pointed way.

[5:10] Everyone who is physically focused, and

[5:12] that includes all of you, are extensions

[5:16] of source energy. And we are just that

[5:18] source energy that you are all

[5:21] extensions of.

[5:23] But as you move around through your

[5:25] day-to-day experiences, not meaning to,

[5:28] you often find vibrational frequencies

[5:32] because of what you are observing that

[5:35] prevents you from receiving the fullness

[5:37] of who you are. And we are the fullness

[5:41] of that. You see, so some have tried to

[5:46] get us to define ourselves in physical

[5:49] terms, but we cannot. And we are not

[5:52] whispering words to Esther that she is

[5:54] repeating. We are offering blocks of

[5:56] thought

[5:58] and she is finding physical words that

[6:02] match those blocks of thought. Everyone

[6:04] does this. You are all inspired.

[6:07] It's just that

[6:10] you can be inspired from different

[6:13] points of attraction. You could be in a

[6:15] very bad mood and receive inspiration,

[6:18] but you're not receiving inspiration

[6:20] from source energy. You're receiving

[6:22] inspiration from blocks of thought that

[6:24] have been sort of left on the physical

[6:26] trail. And so, it's a matter of tuning

[6:29] to high frequency and doing it

[6:31] consistently enough that there is

[6:34] consistency to what you're receiving.

[6:37] That's the easiest way of explaining it.

[6:39] And the most important thing that we

[6:40] want to say to you and to everyone is

[6:44] you're all doing it. You just don't

[6:46] usually do it consistently. And Esther

[6:49] doesn't either. A forum like this, it's

[6:52] easy for her to do it because you all

[6:55] come expecting.

[6:57] And so it is on the desire momentum of

[7:01] desire that you have going that we ride

[7:04] in on so to speak.

[7:07] So you [clears throat] are really a

[7:08] collection of just vibration of of just

[7:10] higher and higher frequency equivalent

[7:12] to to God. Would you say is it

[7:15] humans have a hard time defining right

[7:17] us and they have a hard time defining

[7:19] God and they have a hard time defining

[7:22] those physical friends who have been in

[7:24] physical bodies who have now reemerged

[7:26] into non-physical. You have a sort of as

[7:29] humans we love you so much you have a

[7:31] sort of screwy perspective of this

[7:34] continuum of life. You think you come

[7:37] into these bodies and you live for a

[7:38] little while and you get it right or you

[7:40] don't and and then you leave and then

[7:44] you come again when really what is

[7:46] happening is you are eternal. You never

[7:48] really leave. And even when you are no

[7:50] longer focused in your physical bodies,

[7:53] you are still focused and you are still

[7:55] focused upon what's going on here. There

[7:58] is a collective consciousness that is so

[8:01] interested, so eager about everything

[8:03] that you all are about. And that source

[8:07] energy is what man wants to call God.

[8:10] And it's what you all have access to.

[8:13] So [clears throat] I've often said that

[8:14] we're not here as uh human beings having

[8:18] a spiritual experience,

[8:20] but rather it's the reverse that we're

[8:22] infinite spiritual beings just having a

[8:25] temporary human experience. Oh, and when

[8:28] you when you stand in your now moment

[8:32] and somehow someway you have practiced

[8:36] yourself into a high-flying vibration

[8:39] where you're not honory or you're not

[8:41] upset or you're not worried about

[8:42] anything. So you are pure positive

[8:45] energy and then you allow because you

[8:49] are in that high frequency you are you

[8:52] allow that inspiration to flow. Now you

[8:55] are [snorts] so much more than what you

[8:58] have thought yourself to be. Now you are

[9:00] the extension of that source. And that's

[9:02] when you feel clarity and passion.

[9:04] That's when your timing is good. That's

[9:06] when you're at your funniest. That's

[9:08] when you feel the best.

[9:10] This I think of [clears throat] the word

[9:11] I wrote a book years ago called

[9:12] inspiration.

[9:14] um using the the two words inspire,

[9:17] inspir

[9:22] uh on this planet a couple of thousand

[9:24] years ago named Patanjali and he said um

[9:27] when you are inspired by some great

[9:30] purpose, some extraordinary project that

[9:33] all of your thoughts break their bonds,

[9:35] your your mind transcends limitations,

[9:38] your consciousness expands in every

[9:40] direction, and you find yourself in a

[9:43] new and a great and a wonderful world.

[9:46] Perfect.

[9:46] And then he said, and this is the word I

[9:48] want to ask you about. He said, dormant

[9:50] forces. When you're inspired, dormant

[9:52] forces, faculties, and talents come

[9:54] alive

[9:56] and you discover yourself to be a

[9:58] greater person by far than you've ever

[10:01] dreamt yourself to be. You almost it's

[10:04] almost as if you discover yourself to be

[10:06] God or source or the Dao or divine mind

[10:09] or whatever name we place on this this

[10:12] source energy that you speak of and

[10:13] speak to us from.

[10:15] The way we've been defining that most

[10:17] recently is that when you wake up in the

[10:20] morning you have the potential of being

[10:23] in that highest frequency because while

[10:26] you slumber your point of attraction the

[10:28] momentum of your point of attraction

[10:30] stops. So when you first wake up, before

[10:32] you begin thinking thoughts of what went

[10:34] wrong yesterday or what you have to do

[10:36] today, you're in your greatest potential

[10:38] of that pure positive energy. So if you

[10:42] can focus there and allow a little

[10:45] momentum to get going, what happens is

[10:48] you, it isn't something that just

[10:51] happens. It's something that you focus

[10:53] yourself into being. But when you focus

[10:56] yourself into that, you tune in is the

[11:00] best way of describing it. You tune in

[11:03] to that source energy consciousness who

[11:06] has always been aware of everything

[11:09] you're doing. But there's a big

[11:10] difference when you tune into it and you

[11:13] consciously are aware of it.

[11:15] In other words, source is there for

[11:16] everyone all the time.

[11:20] We don't need to talk you into that.

[11:21] We're always there. But when you know

[11:24] it, when you're not doing that thing you

[11:26] do that is preventing you from knowing

[11:28] that, that's when you have those

[11:30] wonderful moments. And you can do that

[11:31] all the time

[11:32] in the middle of the

[11:33] and they call that the master, but all

[11:35] of you, all of you do it. It's just the

[11:37] mastery of focus is what it is.

[11:40] I wake up uh every night uh around 3:00

[11:43] in the morning and there was a great uh

[11:46] poet's name was Roomie many many years

[11:47] ago. He said u the the morning breeze

[11:50] has secrets to tell you. Do not go back

[11:53] to sleep. Do not go back to sleep. Do

[11:56] not go back to sleep. And many of the

[11:59] books that I have written, I've written

[12:01] when I'm awakened. And there's

[12:03] something, what is it? What is it that

[12:05] awakens me? It's like almost I can

[12:07] almost tell you the exact time. It's

[12:08] like because in a film I did years ago

[12:10] called The Shift, I talk. I They show a

[12:14] clock. It's 3:13 a.m. Almost till the

[12:16] second every single night. There's

[12:19] something. Is that Is that angels? Is

[12:22] that is that divine source? Is that

[12:24] someone saying this is your purpose,

[12:26] this is the time. There's no

[12:27] distractions.

[12:28] The thing we most want to say is that

[12:30] we're with you saying that all the time.

[12:34] So what's interesting to us is that

[12:36] that's the time that you decide to

[12:38] listen,

[12:38] right? [laughter]

[12:40] And

[12:40] but there's nobody else around to

[12:42] distract you

[12:43] and and that's the important

[12:44] conversation to have. So what is it

[12:46] about that time? What is it that's

[12:49] happening there that makes you more

[12:51] resonant? that makes you more receptive

[12:53] and it is that the momentum of your

[12:55] thought has stopped. So there is no

[12:58] contradictory vibration going on within

[13:00] you. So you're more likely to hear.

[13:03] Esther has been saying to herself when

[13:05] she awakens like that she will say am I

[13:08] awake? Because if I'm awake I am going

[13:10] to get up. [snorts] And so it's

[13:14] conscious awareness of that high

[13:16] frequency vibration. That's what you're

[13:18] talking about.

[13:19] Yeah. But I find for me in and for me

[13:22] most creative moments are that that

[13:24] middle of the night time when uh

[13:26] well think about what that is when you

[13:28] think a thought for as little as 17

[13:30] seconds law of attraction will bring

[13:32] another thought like it to it. So

[13:35] momentum begins.

[13:37] What do you mean uh law of attraction

[13:40] will bring? What is law of attraction?

[13:42] Let's say that you wake up in the

[13:44] morning and rather than finding that

[13:47] clear space that is

[13:49] potentially there for you to find.

[13:51] Instead, as soon as you wake up, you

[13:53] remember the trouble that you had

[13:55] yesterday and you think about being at

[13:57] work and you think about the dilemma and

[14:00] you think about the discomfort and you

[14:02] think about the discord and as you focus

[14:05] for as little as 17 seconds, more

[14:08] thoughts like that will join it. Okay?

[14:10] So, another 17 seconds, more momentum

[14:14] still. Another 17 seconds, more momentum

[14:17] still. Until you cross something as

[14:20] short as the 68 second mark, you have

[14:23] lost your window

[14:27] of alignment with source. Doesn't mean

[14:29] Esther said to us the other day because

[14:31] we said, "Well, you can always begin

[14:33] again tomorrow. You can always begin

[14:34] again tomorrow." And Esther said,"I

[14:37] refuse to accept that I have to wait all

[14:38] the way until tomorrow to get back on my

[14:40] high-flying disc. I can do it. I know I

[14:42] can do it by focusing. It's just so much

[14:45] easier." So, we like to talk about law

[14:48] of attraction because it is the

[14:51] vibrational engine that manages

[14:54] everything. And we can't talk about law

[14:57] of attraction without talking about

[14:59] momentum. Because there is a momentum in

[15:02] thought. And if you think a thought long

[15:05] enough, it becomes a strong habit of

[15:08] thoughts, what you call beliefs. A

[15:10] belief is just a thought you keep

[15:11] thinking. So sometimes you have beliefs

[15:15] that do not serve you. But when you

[15:17] first awaken, those beliefs are quiet

[15:20] enough that you can find a fresh one. A

[15:24] fresh one that comes from source that is

[15:27] about who you really are and what you

[15:29] really know.

[15:30] [clears throat]

[15:30] is the reverse of of that if you awaken

[15:33] and you have a very positive thought

[15:36] that is um I'm going to heal myself.

[15:39] Well, that's a wonderful thing when you

[15:41] once you get that momentum going

[15:43] but like the 17 second rule apply to

[15:45] that as well. applies to everything. And

[15:48] the rule of thumb is when you

[15:50] acknowledge that law of attraction is

[15:52] whether you like it or not and you

[15:54] acknowledge that it is responding to the

[15:56] vibration that you are offering right

[15:58] now and therefore momentum will get

[16:02] going.

[16:04] So if we were standing in your physical

[16:06] shoes, if the thought felt good, we'd

[16:09] think it. We'd think more about it. We'd

[16:11] talk about it. We'd write it down. We

[16:13] would discuss it with others. we would

[16:15] deliberately encourage that momentum.

[16:17] But if it's an an easy thought, if it

[16:20] feels uncomfortable, then we would do

[16:22] our best to generalize it. The more

[16:26] specific you become in a thought, the

[16:28] more momentum. The more general you

[16:30] become in a thought, the slower the

[16:32] momentum. Esther remembers San Francisco

[16:36] driving to the top of one of those what

[16:38] she called ridiculous hills. She

[16:40] couldn't believe that people were

[16:41] actually driving on those hills. And so

[16:43] we said, "Well, imagine perching your

[16:46] car at the top of one of those hills,

[16:48] take it out of gear, take the brake off,

[16:50] and just for fun, just to see what

[16:52] happens, nudge it a little bit from

[16:53] behind." Well, you know what will

[16:55] happen. And if you come to your senses,

[16:57] you will step out in front of it and let

[16:58] it bump up against you, and you will

[17:00] stop that unwanted momentum. But you

[17:02] would not want to be at the base of that

[17:04] hill stopping that unwanted momentum.

[17:06] So your thoughts are the same way. When

[17:09] you get the hang of this, when you begin

[17:12] to realize that every thought is

[17:14] vibration and that law of attraction is

[17:16] responding to every thought and the

[17:18] thought is going to increase, the only

[17:20] question is is it one you want to

[17:22] increase because it's going to increase.

[17:25] Law of attraction insists that it does.

[17:27] Can you have a thought like I I talk a

[17:29] lot about the I am I am discourses. I am

[17:31] as as the name of source. Another name

[17:33] for source. Um if you if you are feeling

[17:37] weak but you said you have a thought

[17:39] saying I am strong. I mean that's one of

[17:41] the lines from the the book of Joel. Let

[17:43] the weak man say I am strong. If you

[17:46] continuously say I am strong or I am

[17:49] well or I am healed or I am wealthy or I

[17:52] am positive or I

[17:54] it makes sense. It makes sense but there

[17:56] is a a effort factor a backfiring factor

[18:01] that sometimes every subject is really

[18:05] two subjects wanted an absence of it. So

[18:08] if you are feeling not strong and you

[18:13] say I am strong,

[18:16] which end of the stick are you

[18:17] activating? And what we've noticed is

[18:21] the more effort you are applying,

[18:23] usually you're trying to overcome what

[18:26] you've really got going on vibrationally

[18:28] with words. And instead of it working

[18:31] the way you want it to, it works in

[18:33] reverse. Because when you're trying

[18:35] really hard, it's an indicator that

[18:38] you're trying to use your words and your

[18:39] actions and your affirmations to

[18:41] compensate for vibration that you didn't

[18:43] get started off on the right foot. We

[18:45] think affirmations are wonderful, but we

[18:48] would make sure that we are feeling

[18:50] really good when we affirm because the

[18:52] universe doesn't hear what you say. The

[18:55] universe hears what you mean.

[18:59] It also responds to how you feel,

[19:01] doesn't it? Well, that's that is that's

[19:04] right. That's that's how you know what

[19:06] you mean. So, if you're feeling weak and

[19:08] you're proclaiming that you're strong,

[19:11] the universe is just the and the louder

[19:13] you're saying it, the more the universe

[19:15] is hearing you demanding something that

[19:18] you do not feel. It's trying too hard.

[19:20] We for a while we were offering analogy

[19:22] that we see you. It's like you go down

[19:24] to the river's ed with with your canoe

[19:26] and you put it in the water and you

[19:28] point it upstream and you paddle really

[19:29] hard because it feels like to get

[19:32] something done there should be some

[19:35] struggle involved. But law of attraction

[19:39] is responding. Law of attraction is the

[19:42] path of least resistance. And if you can

[19:45] accept that you are source energy and

[19:48] that there is a trajectory of ease and

[19:52] least resistance and you can feel when

[19:54] you're on that trajectory and you can

[19:56] feel when you get off of it. And

[19:57] sometimes the more you proclaim that

[20:00] you're on it, the more you're really off

[20:01] of it just trying to get on it. It's

[20:03] better just to take a nap.

[20:08] All right, [clears throat] I've got a

[20:08] very important question.

[20:11] Uh not that these haven't been

[20:15] I have u I have eight children.

[20:18] Um

[20:18] you have our condolences. [laughter]

[20:22] Well, before before I had any children,

[20:25] I had eight theories about how to raise

[20:26] children. Now I have eight children. No

[20:29] theories about how to raise children. Um

[20:31] but I have a daughter uh her name is

[20:33] Serena. Um, and when she was 11, 10,

[20:38] nine, whatever years old, she used to

[20:41] always complain to me about uh my

[20:43] fathering, about my parenting, you know,

[20:45] giving me lots of advice about I do this

[20:47] wrong and I do that wrong. And after a

[20:50] while, I just got, you know, fed up with

[20:52] it one day. And I had been listening to

[20:54] some of the things that Abraham had

[20:56] said. And uh I said to her, I said, 'You

[20:59] know, if you don't like

[21:02] the kind of father that I am, the kind

[21:04] of parent that I am, then you shouldn't

[21:06] be blaming me. I said, you should really

[21:09] be taking a look at yourself and asking

[21:12] yourself, why in the world would you

[21:14] pick me to be your father?

[21:18] and she stood on her hands and put her

[21:20] hips on and, you know, rolled her eyes

[21:21] back, you know, that 10-year-old kind of

[21:23] look and said, "Uh, you're telling me

[21:26] that I actually picked you to be my

[21:30] father and pick mom to be my" I said,

[21:32] "Exactly right." I said, "And when

[21:34] you're making important decisions like

[21:36] that, you should really be very careful

[21:38] about it." [laughter]

[21:40] Even more than that, you are right now

[21:42] evoking the kind of parent I am being.

[21:44] Your expectation is so powerful I cannot

[21:47] override it. [clears throat]

[21:50] I could, but we seem to have rendevoused

[21:53] on a vibrational spot that makes each of

[21:56] us want to blame the other for what's

[21:57] going on here. [clears throat]

[21:59] So her final response to me, which was

[22:01] the best response I think I've ever

[22:02] heard from one of my kids, she said,

[22:04] "Well, then I must have been in a

[22:06] hurry." [laughter]

[22:09] And my question to you Abraham is um is

[22:13] there anything before we show up in this

[22:16] world of form?

[22:17] Yes.

[22:18] Um that um we have any access to who we

[22:22] who our parents are going to be. What

[22:24] how does that work?

[22:25] Well, you there's a powerful trajectory.

[22:28] There's a powerful but general plan. You

[22:32] knew that you were coming forth and you

[22:33] knew that the variety would be perfect.

[22:35] You knew that the variety would inspire

[22:37] you to your personal new preferences.

[22:39] But when you say you you knew in in what

[22:42] way? I mean um

[22:44] you don't there's no brain to work with.

[22:46] There's no body to work with. You're in

[22:48] this formless.

[22:49] What does brain have to do with

[22:50] consciousness and knowing

[22:53] that's you're the one who has to answer

[22:55] that.

[22:57] The brain is the focusing mechanism that

[23:00] you are utilizing here. But there is

[23:02] consciousness that is outside of what

[23:06] you call the human focus of the brain.

[23:10] That's this vibrational thing. In other

[23:12] words, we talk about vibration, we talk

[23:14] about energy, we talk about thought, we

[23:17] talk about emotion,

[23:19] but really by the time we're talking

[23:21] about emotion, emotion is a

[23:23] manifestation. There's quite a bit of

[23:25] momentum going before emotion shows you

[23:29] how well aligned or not you are with

[23:31] that broader perspective. So before you

[23:34] came into this physical body, you were

[23:37] consciousness and you were eager about

[23:40] projecting some of that consciousness

[23:42] into a physical body because you knew

[23:45] that in this physical body with all of

[23:47] the other wonderful and diverse physical

[23:51] beings that would share this time space

[23:54] reality with you. You knew that you

[23:56] would be inspired to new ideas and that

[24:01] really turned you on because you know

[24:03] that you are an eternal being and you

[24:05] know that without some new idea eternity

[24:08] ceases. You weren't worried about that

[24:10] because you knew the time space reality

[24:12] would inspire the new ideas. So you had

[24:15] this general sense of your well-being.

[24:18] You understood your absolute worthiness.

[24:20] The thing that is the the thing that is

[24:24] so beneficial

[24:26] for Esther and now for us and therefore

[24:29] for all of you in experiencing the

[24:32] transition that Jerry has made into

[24:34] non-physical

[24:36] is that she can feel his keen interest

[24:39] in things she's doing now. She knows his

[24:44] consciousness and she knows what he's

[24:46] interested in. She can feel when she

[24:49] finds alignment with what he's thinking.

[24:51] She can feel when she's off on a path

[24:53] that he's not a vibrational match to.

[24:56] And Jerry is just an example of that

[24:58] non-physical consciousness that has

[25:00] always been there. This continuum that

[25:03] humans think this generation is born and

[25:06] then another and then another. That's

[25:08] not the continuum of life. The continuum

[25:10] is you come forth into this physical

[25:12] body and you mix it up and you find

[25:15] things that interest you, that delight

[25:16] you, that encourage you, that amaze you,

[25:20] you find things that are

[25:23] desirable to you. And as you find those

[25:26] things while you're in your physical

[25:28] body, those desires don't cease when you

[25:31] reemerge into non-physical. Instead, you

[25:34] join that codri of non-physical

[25:37] consciousness who is still interested in

[25:39] the things that you were interested in.

[25:41] Only now you're interested from no

[25:44] resistance. Now when you desire

[25:45] something, you don't shoot it in the

[25:47] foot with doubt. Now when you desire

[25:49] something about yourself, you don't lay

[25:51] it over with unworthiness. Now you are

[25:54] pure positive energy. You see? Oh, when

[25:57] you feel in your physical body thrill

[25:59] bumps, that's us having a moment with

[26:02] you. Those thrill bumps that you think

[26:04] are yours, are you resonating with the

[26:07] way we feel? So, never confuse the fact

[26:10] that we are non-physically focused and

[26:13] therefore formless with being mindless

[26:16] or with being emotionalists or being

[26:19] interested.

[26:21] Right? So, so that was before, you know,

[26:25] I mean, I know in a timeless world

[26:27] there's no before and after, but um so

[26:31] we leave our bodies and um like you just

[26:35] had Jerry just leave your physical

[26:37] world. Um my mom just uh left my

[26:40] physical world just a short time ago. Um

[26:43] is she capable of u

[26:47] recognizing me? Does she still know that

[26:49] she

[26:49] not just capable hard at it all day

[26:50] every day

[26:51] really? But you have to reorient

[26:53] yourself about your mother because when

[26:56] she reemerges into non-physical, she

[26:58] leaves behind all doubt and fear and

[27:00] worry and all of those personality

[27:02] characteristics that you sometimes pick

[27:03] up along your physical trail. In other

[27:05] words, that's what we like about telling

[27:07] you that when you wake up in the

[27:08] morning, you have the potential of

[27:10] pushing the reset button because that's

[27:12] what happens when people reemerge into

[27:14] non-physical. They push the reset button

[27:16] and it doesn't mean they lose interest.

[27:18] In fact, their interest is more keen,

[27:21] more interest than ever before. But you

[27:24] can't find resonance with her if you're

[27:27] thinking about her as she was before she

[27:29] left behind all of her resistance. You

[27:32] see,

[27:33] I was in Glasgow, Scotland uh this

[27:35] summer and um it was just a short time

[27:38] after she passed away and um

[27:43] she was there in the room with me.

[27:44] Yeah. She's watching for moments when

[27:46] you're not offering resistance.

[27:48] It's very interesting because in in my

[27:50] dream be the first time that after she

[27:53] passed um

[27:56] I was driving, it was like a sort of a

[27:59] waking dream, kind of a lucid dream. And

[28:01] um I drove up to the house where we

[28:03] lived. She was uh she died at 96, but

[28:05] she was in her 40s at this time. And I

[28:08] drove into the driveway and I went to

[28:10] open the door and there was a a a screen

[28:13] door there that had never been there.

[28:14] And I couldn't get the screen door open.

[28:16] And my mother just opened the door this

[28:18] way. And I just looked at her and I

[28:20] because a screen door represents the

[28:22] resistance that you're accustomed to

[28:23] seeing.

[28:24] And she opened it inward, too, by the

[28:26] way. She opened it in

[28:27] and I said to her, um, you can't be

[28:31] here. You can't be here. You're dead.

[28:33] You're dead. And as I said those words,

[28:36] she faded away.

[28:37] Your ability to see her changed.

[28:39] And she became old. Old old. and her her

[28:41] arms went from a 40-year-old woman to a

[28:43] Well, she would like you to cut that

[28:44] out.

[28:44] And [laughter]

[28:47] yeah, I did. I mean, I I talked to

[28:50] Louise Louise Haye about that, a dear

[28:52] friend of both of ours. Uh and she said

[28:54] the next time she said the reason that

[28:56] she couldn't uh stay there with you,

[28:59] it's not that she couldn't stay there,

[29:00] it's that you couldn't see her.

[29:03] It is your human inability to perceive,

[29:06] not the absence of source.

[29:10] So the concept of death to her,

[29:13] there is no death,

[29:14] right?

[29:14] There's only life and more life. And now

[29:17] the concept of death equals clarity and

[29:19] eagerness and fun and fullness and

[29:23] shurness and certainty and worthiness

[29:25] and passion and eagerness and interest

[29:28] in what you're about.

[29:31] So

[29:32] more so than ever before, she had no

[29:34] idea how good you are.

[29:38] She loved you unconditionally.

[29:40] I feel her now.

[29:41] But not like that.

[29:43] Yeah. She's all over the place, isn't

[29:44] she?

[29:45] Yeah.

[29:45] You seeing any auras?

[29:47] You can see auras. Yeah. She's floating

[29:50] around here. Yeah.

[29:53] And I think um since I got the mic and I

[29:58] get to talk to you, um

[30:02] I think about my own uh my own

[30:06] experience. As a young boy, I uh I spent

[30:09] the first 10 years of my life in a

[30:11] series of foster homes and orphanage and

[30:13] so on. And my father was a man who just

[30:16] um walked away. Um spent some time in

[30:20] jail. I mean, he was a very abusive man.

[30:22] He was he left my mother with three boys

[30:24] under the age of four and just just

[30:26] disappeared. Long story. I mean,

[30:27] just the way you planned it, the

[30:29] trajectory you wanted because you are a

[30:31] freedom seeker to the core of your

[30:32] being. You didn't want anybody bossing

[30:34] you around.

[30:35] Yeah.

[30:37] Yeah, I've often said that when a little

[30:39] kid says, "You're not the boss of me."

[30:40] My kids, I've heard him say it many,

[30:42] many times. You're not the boss of me. I

[30:44] always say that's not uh that's not a

[30:46] bratty little kid. That's someone

[30:47] saying, you know, I have

[30:49] I'm autonomous. I've come with great

[30:51] reason. I have guidance from source.

[30:54] I'll tune into who I am.

[30:56] So, um so I never met my father. I grew

[30:58] up with rage in my heart towards uh this

[31:01] man who could uh walk away and uh and

[31:04] just never look back and never pay any

[31:06] support and never even ask a question

[31:09] about his three boys or anything. I was

[31:11] I was the youngest and uh

[31:12] he did his part. He gave you an avenue

[31:14] into physical. Most parents mess it up

[31:18] far further than that.

[31:20] Did I choose him to be my father?

[31:22] Deliberately. M because the if you were

[31:26] to ask me or if I would just tell you

[31:28] the most significant moment in my life

[31:31] was in 1974 when I was 34 years old and

[31:34] I was at his grave in Buxy, Mississippi.

[31:38] And um and before that I was uh I was

[31:43] drinking and I was overweight and my

[31:45] life was out of out of control. Um, I

[31:48] was uh I was writing. I'd written some

[31:50] textbooks, but the kind of writing I

[31:51] really wanted to do, I just couldn't get

[31:53] it. It just wouldn't come.

[31:55] Um, I was not taking good care of

[31:57] myself.

[31:58] Pardon?

[31:58] You were too mad.

[32:00] Yeah. I was filled with rage. I mean, I

[32:02] would wake up with in dreams and I'd

[32:03] just be screaming and I'd be fighting

[32:05] him and I'd be sweating and this this

[32:07] was almost a nightly occurrence. I went

[32:09] to his grave and I really went there to

[32:12] to do something on his grave that wasn't

[32:15] a kindly thing.

[32:17] Um, but for the two hours or so that I

[32:22] was there, it was the 30th of August

[32:23] 1974,

[32:25] um, I went back to the car to drive back

[32:27] to New Orleans to drive back to New

[32:29] York. I was teaching. I was a professor

[32:30] at St. John's University in New York,

[32:33] and something called me back. Now, I

[32:36] don't know what it was, but it was

[32:38] How far down the road were you when you

[32:39] left?

[32:40] How far down

[32:41] after you left?

[32:42] After I left his grave?

[32:44] Yeah.

[32:44] I I didn't even get I only got to the

[32:46] car. I was in the car and and something

[32:48] said go back to the grave and I went

[32:50] back to his grave and I was sobbing

[32:54] and I forgave my father. I said from

[32:57] this moment on I send you what's on my

[33:00] shirt here. I send you love. I send you

[33:02] know and I did a film about him call him

[33:04] my greatest teacher. Everything in my

[33:06] life changed.

[33:08] Yeah.

[33:08] And turned around my writing took off.

[33:11] Uh I wrote a book that became like

[33:13] international bestseller world. All of

[33:15] the stuff that came, it came when I got

[33:17] that rage and anger.

[33:18] What do you think happened? What do you

[33:20] think happened? Because he was always

[33:23] there with you. He was always loving

[33:25] you. He was always proud of you. He was

[33:27] always appreciating you.

[33:28] Really?

[33:29] He was always Well, because he's source

[33:31] energy. So that's how he was feeling.

[33:33] Even while he was even while he was here

[33:35] on this planet.

[33:36] Oh, no. He was all pinched off then.

[33:37] Yeah. He was in jail. But once he

[33:40] reemerged into non-physical,

[33:42] he was in that place of pure positive

[33:44] energy and his influence is strong.

[33:47] So and your desire to understand all of

[33:49] this, your un your desire to teach this,

[33:51] your desire to to let go of the

[33:54] resistance that's holding you back. In

[33:56] other words, when you forgive someone,

[33:58] what you do is you let go of the

[34:00] resistance that's keeping you from your

[34:02] alignment. And it really doesn't have

[34:04] anything to do with the subject of

[34:06] resistance. Feels like it because that's

[34:08] what you're focused upon. You see, but

[34:11] what we are asking you is what what do

[34:14] you think happened? What do you think

[34:16] happened? You went there with strong

[34:18] desire. You went there with desire.

[34:21] Could you articulate that?

[34:23] Yes.

[34:25] Well, I can I can articulate to the to

[34:27] the point of saying I went there. I

[34:28] wanted to find out. I wanted to see his

[34:30] death certificate. I wanted to know if

[34:33] he even acknowledged that he had a son

[34:35] named Wayne. I just wanted to know that.

[34:37] So your bitterness was still really

[34:39] really strong.

[34:39] But there was something that was driving

[34:41] me. My other two brothers, they didn't

[34:42] couldn't care less about it at all. They

[34:44] just, you know, and and my mother would

[34:46] never talk to me about it. She just said

[34:48] he was an That was her. My

[34:51] mother never my never my mother never

[34:52] used language like that except that one

[34:54] time.

[34:54] What drives you is the trajectory of

[34:57] well-being. What drives you was the

[35:00] understanding that you didn't come to be

[35:02] a dependent on someone else. You didn't

[35:05] come to use someone else as your object

[35:07] of attention to use as your excuse for

[35:09] not coming into alignment. And so

[35:11] something happened in that moment that

[35:13] caused you to let go of that. Maybe it

[35:15] just got old. Maybe it just felt feudal.

[35:19] Maybe you felt the ridiculousness of it.

[35:21] Maybe it had just gone on too long. Or

[35:24] maybe there was a reset button. Maybe

[35:26] you had found a desire that was stronger

[35:29] than your old beliefs. And for just a

[35:31] moment, the desire took precedence. You

[35:33] see what we're getting at? The desire

[35:35] that's coming forth from within.

[35:38] We we've written a handful of books and

[35:41] in all of the books have been processes

[35:43] and every process is written to help

[35:46] someone find a way to release

[35:48] resistance. And some of them we sort of

[35:51] encourage you to hit it headon, but

[35:53] those processes don't work very well for

[35:55] people because usually when you've got a

[35:57] habit of thought, you've got a habit of

[35:58] thought. So something happened to you

[36:01] that caused you to cease the momentum

[36:04] that you had going for so long and feel

[36:06] for a moment the fullness.

[36:10] And so what we want to say to you, you

[36:12] felt was the powerful God force love

[36:16] that was pouring through your father,

[36:18] your non-physical father, focused upon

[36:21] you, wanting you to feel it. And so the

[36:23] best way for us to say it is that his

[36:25] love was stronger than your hate. and he

[36:28] caught you at a weak moment and you felt

[36:31] it. And that's what we're talking about

[36:33] all day. In other words, [applause]

[36:35] people will talk about healing. They

[36:37] want to know, they want to find someone

[36:38] that can help them. And we say, you

[36:41] know, source energy is flooding this

[36:43] energy toward you at all times. You

[36:45] don't need some advocate to do what

[36:49] source is already doing. But if someone

[36:51] can help you soften your resistance so

[36:54] that you can somehow be receptive to

[36:56] that love and that well-being that's

[36:58] being flowed, all you have to do is get

[37:00] a little of it. And as you say, it's

[37:02] lifechanging. Your life turned on a dime

[37:06] because you returned to the path of

[37:08] least resistance to the lover that you

[37:10] are. And you left not completely, but

[37:13] you took big steps in leaving that hate

[37:15] behind.

[37:16] Is there only love on the other side?

[37:18] Yes,

[37:19] there's only love. Yes.

[37:21] So

[37:21] only love only love only only only only

[37:25] only pure positive energy love and

[37:29] clarity and passion and eagerness.

[37:32] Yeah. [sighs]

[37:33] Sometimes in my talk I speak about uh

[37:35] and uh this whole idea of uh

[37:38] transcending the duality like this

[37:40] physical world is just all duality. It's

[37:42] up down good bad male female east west

[37:45] norm you know all

[37:46] well it helps you helps you focus. In

[37:48] other words, if you don't know what you

[37:49] don't want, can't know what you do want.

[37:51] We call that step one

[37:54] causes you to ask. You just made a

[37:55] lifestyle out of it.

[37:56] But when you

[37:59] when you step when you step out of this

[38:01] when I when I step out when I take my

[38:03] last breath and step out into the into

[38:06] the non-physical

[38:08] um there will be no opposites. There's

[38:10] no there's no

[38:11] there's contrast. But from this physical

[38:13] perspective, it would be incernible. In

[38:15] other words, for a while we've been

[38:17] talking about the three-step process of

[38:19] creation. We say ask is the first step

[38:22] and contrast helps you to pinpoint that.

[38:25] What do you mean by contrast? Is it

[38:26] variety?

[38:28] Difference.

[38:29] I see.

[38:30] Knowing what you don't want, knowing

[38:31] what you do want. So that causes you to

[38:34] launch these vibrational rockets of

[38:36] desire so to speak and source receives

[38:39] them and becomes a vibrational match to

[38:41] them immediately. So when you ask it is

[38:44] immediately given but there's often

[38:47] quite a vibrational gap between what

[38:49] you're asking for and where you're

[38:51] hanging around. That's what you were

[38:52] talking about. You were asking for that

[38:54] forgiveness but you were hanging around

[38:55] in something quite different. So this

[38:57] gap is what is uncomfortable. So then

[39:00] step three is what we've been calling

[39:02] allowing. That's where you find some way

[39:05] to find vibrational alignment with what

[39:08] you're asking for. It really is the path

[39:11] of least resistance. But if you've been

[39:13] practicing a strong other path, it

[39:15] sometimes doesn't feel like the path of

[39:16] least resistance, but it ultimately is.

[39:19] That's why you ultimately reemerge into

[39:21] non-physical. So now you close the gap.

[39:24] And when you close the gap, what you're

[39:26] asking for and what source is already

[39:28] answered and where you are vibrationally

[39:31] is all in the same place. And now you

[39:33] can receive the inspiration. Now you can

[39:37] begin to realize the details of what

[39:39] you've been asking for. So recently

[39:43] we've been talking a lot about your

[39:45] point of attraction because most people

[39:47] have no idea that they are emanating a

[39:50] signal and that everything that comes to

[39:52] them is coming in response to that

[39:54] signal. Point of attraction. And so

[39:57] we've been likening your point of

[39:59] attraction to that emotional scale that

[40:01] some of you have heard us talk about.

[40:02] There's the Henry disc. It's a spinning

[40:05] disc. You know, if everybody's Henry

[40:07] today, you might want to acknowledge

[40:08] you're on the Henry disc.

[40:11] Esther said it's like the seven dwarfs.

[40:12] There's the honory disc and the happy

[40:14] disc and the grumpy disc. She's got

[40:16] about 200 dwarfs now. Passive

[40:18] aggressive.

[40:20] So as you accept responsibility for what

[40:24] your point of attraction is and you

[40:26] deliberately

[40:28] try first thing in the morning to

[40:30] maintain that pure frequency that holds

[40:33] no resistance in it longer after a

[40:36] little while takes about 20 or 30 or 40

[40:39] or 50 days of getting up every morning

[40:40] and reaching for it. you've been doing

[40:43] it for a long time. And once you find

[40:45] that, then what happens is momentum

[40:49] begins to flow into your experience.

[40:51] That's when you get insight. That's when

[40:53] manifestations like emotions and good

[40:56] ideas begin to flow into your

[40:58] experience. And so something that you

[41:01] said earlier made us want to talk to you

[41:03] about that. Esther said, "Please call it

[41:05] step four. Please call it step four.

[41:06] Please call it step four." Because when

[41:08] you hang around on that high-flying disc

[41:10] consistently and and make it all the way

[41:13] through breakfast without falling off or

[41:15] maybe even till lunchtime or maybe even

[41:17] through the day and then you begin

[41:19] making the association between the

[41:21] lovely things that happened to you in

[41:23] this day and the relationship that they

[41:25] have to the vibration that you've chosen

[41:28] now now and only now are you then able

[41:33] to co-create with non-physical.

[41:37] So then we're getting right to the heart

[41:38] of the question that you just asked

[41:40] because it's it's such a good one. So,

[41:43] so, okay. So, now I'm on this

[41:44] high-flying disc and I feel really good

[41:46] and I've been there for a while and

[41:48] things are letting me know that I'm

[41:50] there because I'm rendevooing with nice

[41:52] people and traffic's nice to me and I'm

[41:55] zigging and zagging and finding good

[41:57] parking places and most of all, I feel

[41:59] clarity so I'm not confused and and

[42:02] things are working out in my life

[42:03] experience on all fronts. And I can tell

[42:06] that I have shifted, like you said, I've

[42:09] made a dramatic vibrational shift that

[42:12] is sustainable because I did it on

[42:14] purpose and I practiced it on purpose

[42:16] and now I own it. It's mine. So now from

[42:20] that vibrational place of supreme

[42:24] alignment, still problems can present

[42:27] themselves to you. There's still

[42:29] contrast, but the difference is the

[42:32] problem doesn't rip you from the disc.

[42:34] It looks like an opportunity. It looks

[42:36] like something that's interesting. It

[42:38] looks like something that you'd like to

[42:40] think about. It doesn't look like

[42:41] something that overwhelms you or

[42:43] overtakes you or defeats you or doesn't

[42:45] like you. It's just a simple choice. You

[42:49] see,

[42:51] it's a lovely thing to get it that

[42:53] you're vibrational.

[42:55] Offer your vibration on purpose. Watch

[42:57] how everything responds to the vibration

[42:59] that you're offering on purpose. and

[43:01] then watch contrast show itself to you

[43:05] in poignant moments like at 3:13 in the

[43:07] morning.

[43:09] Can we uh can we reach that state of uh

[43:14] uh love that has no opposite? Uh joy

[43:17] that has no opposite um while we're

[43:20] still here in physical can realization.

[43:22] Yeah, but you wouldn't want it. And for

[43:24] this reason, if if contrast were to

[43:26] cease, expansion would.

[43:30] And expansion is necessary for eternity.

[43:35] In other words, without choices, there

[43:38] couldn't be more. And without more, then

[43:41] there couldn't be all of us.

[43:45] I just have this sense that um if

[43:49] there's so much violence on our planet

[43:50] and there was violence in my heart when

[43:52] I went to Baluxy to to find my father.

[43:55] I know. But but you see there's a big

[43:57] difference between the Henry disc and

[43:59] the disc of despair and the disc of

[44:01] revenge. There's a big difference

[44:03] between that and that high-flying disc.

[44:05] We can't we're not even comparing apples

[44:07] and oranges. And of course it would be

[44:10] far better. We would rather see you in

[44:12] rage and revenge than in despair. We

[44:14] would rather you feeling revenge and

[44:16] rage than guilt.

[44:18] But we would far rather that you feel

[44:20] overwhelmment than rage and hope than

[44:23] overwhelmment and love than hope. In

[44:27] other words, there is always an

[44:28] improvement in the vibration. And that

[44:31] really is what we are all about. Source

[44:33] is through all of you finding higher and

[44:36] higher frequencies. The stakes are

[44:39] becoming more satisfying to all of us.

[44:42] You see,

[44:44] the misconception is that source has got

[44:47] it all figured out and that that's

[44:49] finished and perfect and that humans are

[44:51] still vying for that understanding where

[44:53] what's really going on is source is

[44:56] expanding into greater capacities of

[44:59] love through that which you are living.

[45:02] And when when large segments of your

[45:04] population are in abject hatred, you are

[45:08] launching rockets of desire that the

[45:11] source within you joins and the love in

[45:14] the non-physical becomes greater because

[45:16] of the hate that you lived. That's that

[45:18] expansion that we're talking about. But

[45:20] it doesn't do anybody any good if

[45:21] somebody doesn't line up with it. And

[45:24] source never lowers. In other words,

[45:26] this high-flying disc that we're talking

[45:28] about, Esther plays with us because

[45:31] sometimes she'll say,"Abraham, I'm not

[45:33] in such a good mood, and I think you

[45:35] should come down and play with me

[45:37] because I know that this negative

[45:39] emotion that I'm feeling is because

[45:40] you're there and I'm here. And if you'd

[45:42] come down where I am, then I wouldn't

[45:44] feel the separation." And we say, "We're

[45:46] not coming." You got to come up.

[45:48] You got to come up.

[45:50] But doesn't all of humanity have to come

[45:51] up? Yeah. I mean,

[45:53] and it all does when you make your

[45:54] reemergence. And like you, we agree. We

[45:56] don't think you should have to croak to

[45:58] be happy.

[46:00] We think you should be able to train

[46:01] yourself into vibrational alignment.

[46:03] But can one of us or two of us or a

[46:05] handful of us who are living as close to

[46:08] this source energy, you know, from a

[46:10] place of divine love, you know,

[46:12] of course. But can't we impact like

[46:14] millions of people?

[46:14] You can because one who's connected to

[46:16] this energy is more powerful than

[46:18] millions who aren't. But the thing that

[46:20] is interesting, your mother couldn't get

[46:23] your attention.

[46:26] You see what we're getting at? In other

[46:27] words, there she is, pure positive

[46:29] energy, right?

[46:30] Focused on you all day, every day,

[46:32] right?

[46:32] And you had to be in the right frequency

[46:34] in order to hear her. And so that's the

[46:37] way it is with source. Source is in that

[46:39] high frequency, but you got to be in the

[46:42] vicinity in order to find in order to

[46:45] feel it. And until you've felt it, you

[46:47] can't know it. You can't get it from our

[46:49] words. No one can get it from your

[46:50] words. No, nothing can replace that

[46:54] releasing of resistance that happened to

[46:56] you at that grave site that day. There

[46:59] just aren't enough words in the world to

[47:01] explain what happened. But you

[47:03] experienced the releasing of resistance

[47:05] and the aligning with source energy and

[47:08] with your father in that moment. You say

[47:14] it's um it's been my teaching mission

[47:17] almost to uh

[47:20] to encourage people to um

[47:23] you know you call it contrast but to to

[47:26] rid oursel. I mean I it was an act of

[47:29] forgiveness if you will that uh totally

[47:32] transformed my entire life and affected

[47:34] millions.

[47:35] We know but what took you so long to get

[47:36] there? Um,

[47:38] in other words, that's what's happening

[47:40] to everyone. They would feel better if

[47:42] they would think thoughts that feel

[47:43] better. But there's this thing you've

[47:45] been taught that Esther said to us, "But

[47:47] Abraham, it's true.

[47:49] It's true. Therefore, shouldn't I think

[47:51] about it? This happened to me. This is a

[47:53] true thing." And we said to her many

[47:56] times, "There are many things that are

[47:57] true that feel good when you focus upon

[47:59] them, and there are many things that are

[48:01] true that feel horrible when you focus

[48:03] upon them." we would be selective

[48:05] because when you focus upon the things

[48:07] that feel horrible, you're out there on

[48:09] the raw and ragged edge without your

[48:11] source. Now, not really without your

[48:13] source because source never stops

[48:15] perceiving life through you. But you've

[48:17] got yourself pinched off so that you

[48:19] don't recognize it. You see,

[48:21] can't uh can't someone who's living

[48:23] closer to source energy, you know,

[48:26] impact um like in a family or in a

[48:29] community or

[48:30] certainly

[48:30] can't isn't that what Abraham is doing?

[48:32] Certainly. Certainly

[48:33] that you are doing. I'm sorry.

[48:35] Certainly. But they have to be ready.

[48:37] They have to be in the vicinity. You

[48:39] can't set your radio dial on 98 and hear

[48:42] what's being broadcast on 101. The

[48:44] frequencies have to match up. And what

[48:46] happens with people is then they become

[48:49] self degradating. In other words, they

[48:51] beat up on themselves when things aren't

[48:53] going well. And we just want them to

[48:54] understand it was a vibrational choice

[48:56] that they have some control over if they

[48:59] will try a little bit. That's why we're

[49:01] so excited about talking you into first

[49:04] thing in the morning just finding some

[49:06] general thought that feels good and try

[49:08] to stay there until some momentum gets

[49:09] going and show yourself what this day

[49:12] how this day is different because you

[49:14] did that and after 30 days of doing that

[49:16] you'll know what we're talking about.

[49:19] What about the last five minutes before

[49:21] you go to sleep? uh which is what I tell

[49:23] people in in talks often is that uh when

[49:26] you are when you are in slumber um uh

[49:29] that um your your subconscious mind

[49:31] starts to get programmed you know and if

[49:33] you if the last five five minutes before

[49:35] you're just going off to sleep you're

[49:36] thinking about all the things that went

[49:38] wrong and how this didn't happen and

[49:40] this is never going to work for me and

[49:41] I'm not financially and I'm sick and

[49:43] this doesn't work. uh you're really

[49:45] aren't you programming your subconscious

[49:46] mind. Then you wake up and the universe

[49:48] just offers you this, you know,

[49:51] experiences that match up to what you've

[49:53] placed in there. So those last five

[49:55] minutes, it seems to me it's like you

[49:56] want to put in there all of your I ams.

[49:58] I am content.

[49:59] Here's the here's the thing. If you've

[50:01] had a hard day, you can't just say it

[50:04] different in the last five minutes

[50:05] because the universe doesn't hear what

[50:06] you say. The universe hears how you

[50:08] feel. So your best chance of really

[50:11] feeling good is after a night of

[50:14] momentum slowing rather than after a day

[50:17] of momentum increasing.

[50:19] That's very that's very very well said.

[50:21] Yeah.

[50:25] Certainly it's always better to speak

[50:27] positively but don't you find yourself

[50:29] sometimes challenging your own thoughts?

[50:32] People will say, "It's like my thoughts

[50:34] are thinking me." And we say, "Don't

[50:37] just if if you've got a negative train

[50:39] of thought going, you what you want to

[50:42] do is make it more general. If you can,

[50:45] just generalize it. Step back from it if

[50:48] you can.

[50:48] I'm just thinking in terms of uh you're

[50:51] going to sleep for eight hours, let's

[50:53] say, um, and you're going to marinate in

[50:56] whatever thoughts that you have just

[50:58] filled your subcon." That's the thing

[51:00] that we're really wanting to explain is

[51:02] that law of attraction, the momentum of

[51:05] law of attraction is not active while

[51:08] you are unconscious. Now, it's logical

[51:12] that when you wake up, you'll refocus

[51:15] and you'll get the that your propensity

[51:18] of thought is already there, but that

[51:20] can change with this new discussion

[51:22] about getting a different trajectory

[51:25] going. Someone the other day gave us the

[51:28] best word because he's been deliberately

[51:32] getting on that high-flying disc and

[51:34] staying there with some success. He's in

[51:36] his 60th or 70th day of that. And he

[51:40] said, "Now it's beginning to feel like

[51:42] I'm tethered there, like sometimes I'll

[51:44] dip down, but it's like a bungee cord

[51:46] that takes me right back up." And we

[51:49] said, "That's exactly what we're saying

[51:52] about this non-physical you. You're

[51:54] tethered. you are tethered to this pure

[51:57] positive energy, but you've practiced

[52:00] not being there enough that you've sort

[52:01] of stretched your bungee cord to its

[52:03] limits and now you're dangling around in

[52:06] vibrations that don't serve you and that

[52:08] are not really who you are. But it

[52:10] doesn't take much to get that elasticity

[52:13] back. So that

[52:14] is this like a conditioning process? I

[52:16] mean like from the time that we're

[52:17] little boys and little girls, we're told

[52:19] what we can do, what we can't do, what's

[52:20] possible, what's not.

[52:21] Yeah. by those who don't know,

[52:23] by those who are looking from lower

[52:25] discs, who are wanting to prepare you

[52:28] for the inevitable failure that they

[52:30] think you will live. And in the early

[52:32] days, you didn't like that at all. You

[52:34] protested in the beginning.

[52:36] You did. You protested. And the source

[52:40] within you knows who you are and is

[52:42] always reminding you. That's why at 313,

[52:45] some of those thoughts flow.

[52:48] I'm just thinking about as as babies.

[52:50] There was a poet William Wdsworth who

[52:52] said, "Our birth our birth is but asleep

[52:56] and a forgetting. Heaven lies about us

[53:00] in our infancy."

[53:02] It's a forgetting

[53:04] because it's a forgetting in the sense

[53:07] that you don't remember the details, but

[53:10] you remember your worthiness. You know

[53:12] your value. You know you came with

[53:14] purpose. That's why when people try to

[53:17] tell you otherwise, you don't take it

[53:19] well in the beginning. They can

[53:21] condition you to let go of that, but you

[53:23] can spring back. Start tomorrow morning.

[53:26] Yeah. But I'm thinking about all the

[53:28] parents out out there.

[53:29] Yeah. and and how often the the

[53:32] conditioned uh you can't do this or

[53:34] that's not possible or

[53:36] if we were if we were if we were giving

[53:38] one encouragement to parents, we would

[53:41] say choose your disc and then talk to

[53:45] your kids.

[53:47] Don't let the subject choose your disc.

[53:49] In other words, they've misbehaved or

[53:51] they've disobeyed or they've

[53:53] disappointed or or or or or or so as you

[53:57] observe that that chooses the disk. And

[54:00] then you you can have a lifetime of

[54:02] hating someone under those conditions.

[54:04] But if you choose the disk because you

[54:07] want to feel good and then are inspired

[54:10] from that broader perspective, you got

[54:12] to remember that they've got inner

[54:14] beings too. Your inner being knows

[54:16] everything you you that you've asked

[54:18] for. is swirling in this vibrational

[54:20] reality, knows everything that you want

[54:23] and where you are right now in

[54:25] relationship with everything that you

[54:26] want and knows the path of least

[54:28] resistance to get you to it. You see, so

[54:31] when you begin practicing what the path

[54:33] of least resistance feels like, then you

[54:35] can guide some others, too.

[54:38] Couldn't we get it from babies? I mean,

[54:39] couldn't we learn it from babies? It's

[54:41] Well, hang around with them. They know

[54:42] it.

[54:42] Yeah. I've been hanging around lately

[54:45] with a little boy quite a bit, actually,

[54:47] a little boy named Jesse. He's 2 years

[54:48] old and um

[54:50] can feel his wisdom,

[54:51] his knowing.

[54:52] He's just the most I'm just so in love

[54:54] with this little boy. I mean, and I talk

[54:56] when I take him by myself and I just

[54:58] take him down to the swimming pool and

[54:59] I'm just with him. I look him in the

[55:00] eye.

[55:01] I just ask him about God. I ask him

[55:03] about source energy. I ask him about,

[55:05] you know, come on, tell me, tell me

[55:07] more. And and

[55:08] he

[55:09] and what he says is, you make too much

[55:11] of all of this and don't make me think

[55:14] about things that I don't want to think

[55:15] about yet. And I'm new here and I really

[55:18] like it so far. And I want everybody to

[55:21] feel about it like I feel about it. And

[55:24] um I would like to maintain this

[55:26] alignment with my source energy through

[55:28] all of the days of my life experience.

[55:30] And it's fun to hang out with somebody

[55:31] like you who has reconnected with all of

[55:34] that. And so you feel really good to me.

[55:37] You don't feel like most people. You

[55:39] feel like that which I know to be.

[55:41] That's why I gravitate to you. That's

[55:43] what he's saying.

[55:43] Amazing. Amazing Abraham because

[55:46] the first time I saw him he was I don't

[55:48] know five six months old.

[55:50] Yeah.

[55:50] Um I recognized him.

[55:52] Yeah.

[55:52] It wasn't like oh this is a cute little

[55:54] boy and all of that but I just I saw

[55:56] some fact I saw myself in him as a

[55:58] little as a little baby myself.

[56:00] Sometimes I even wonder can can you be

[56:03] Yes. But that's not what it is. You felt

[56:04] the resonance with his alignment.

[56:06] Yeah.

[56:07] In other words he's tuned in, tapped in,

[56:08] turned on.

[56:10] He hasn't disconnected from that. He's

[56:12] still tethered. You see, yeah,

[56:15] he just brings so much joy. Even even

[56:17] thinking about his just his little face.

[56:19] Well, that's what the infusion of new

[56:21] ones coming in is all the time. You

[56:22] think you think you're there to teach

[56:24] you, you think that you are here to

[56:26] teach them. They are coming to teach you

[56:29] because what they're teaching you

[56:30] animals, too. We're on the high-flying

[56:32] disc. Don't mess it up.

[56:36] And we do mess it up.

[56:37] You don't mean to. And you don't have

[56:39] to. And when you do, you don't feel

[56:42] good. When you deviate from the

[56:44] vibration of who you are, you feel

[56:46] separation's too strong a word, but you

[56:48] feel the pinching off

[56:49] and you feel when the pinching off

[56:51] releases. And if you want to play with

[56:53] it, just take some subject that you feel

[56:56] resistance about and just get more

[56:59] general about it and watch what happens.

[57:02] What What do you mean? Mhm.

[57:04] Well, for example,

[57:06] you could let's say that it was before

[57:08] you had that wonderful

[57:12] realignment with who you are at the

[57:13] graveside

[57:15] and you're still railing about the

[57:18] inappropriateness of this n do well

[57:21] father and it's just eating you up. You

[57:24] just feel the discord in a really strong

[57:26] way. And so, and you don't want to feel

[57:29] the discord, but you can't change what

[57:31] happened. You can't change the stories

[57:34] that you heard and you can't change the

[57:36] way you have felt about it. In other

[57:38] words, it happened and so it's a strong

[57:40] momentum within you. But nevertheless,

[57:43] you don't like the way it feels. So you

[57:45] could change the subject and think about

[57:48] things that feel better. But with

[57:50] something as

[57:52] significant as parent and child, it

[57:56] comes up all the time. You see parents

[57:57] with their kids and you see kids with

[57:59] their parents. And so it's something

[58:01] that comes up. So, it's important for

[58:03] you to find a way of soothing the

[58:04] energy. So, you say,

[58:09] "Can't believe how that guy just left

[58:10] us. I can't believe how he turned his

[58:12] back on us." Feel how the momentum is

[58:14] getting stronger. Never even looked

[58:16] back. I don't even think he even

[58:18] acknowledged that I was alive. I don't

[58:20] think he cared about me at all. He

[58:22] certainly didn't care about the others.

[58:23] He didn't care about my mother. Momentum

[58:25] is speeding up. And the more momentum

[58:27] you add to that, the worse you feel. You

[58:29] can get really strong momentum going

[58:30] until you can really hold yourself for a

[58:33] long time out of sorts with who you

[58:34] really are. But now you don't want to do

[58:37] that. You have listened to us, maybe

[58:39] heard a little bit. And so you're saying

[58:41] to yourself, I just want to feel better

[58:43] about this. And I really don't know what

[58:46] the guy was thinking. I don't know what

[58:48] was going on in his world. I don't know.

[58:51] Nobody's really explained to me how he

[58:53] felt. He might have felt broken. He

[58:55] might not have felt like he had anything

[58:57] to offer any of us. He might have felt

[58:59] like we were better off without him. I

[59:01] don't know what he really felt. I do

[59:04] know that he provided an avenue for me

[59:06] into this time space reality. I'm glad

[59:09] about that. And I do know that I had a

[59:11] lot of contrast early on and I think

[59:14] that has served me. And I do know that

[59:17] the relief I will feel when I let go of

[59:20] this is going to be pretty significant.

[59:23] And and I don't believe that source is

[59:26] hating him.

[59:27] I don't believe that source is holding

[59:30] him as object of attention and finding

[59:32] what's wrong. Oh, maybe that's why I

[59:35] feel so awful. I have a different

[59:37] opinion with source about my father.

[59:42] And when I step out of this form,

[59:45] you'll reemerge into the opinion that

[59:47] source has about everything.

[59:49] And what about my father? Will he be

[59:51] there?

[59:51] Right there. Oh, right there. Right

[59:53] there. And offering no explanation

[59:57] whatsoever.

[59:59] [laughter]

[1:00:00] [applause and cheering]

[1:00:01] Don't look for closure.

[1:00:03] There is no closure. It just keeps

[1:00:04] opening.

[1:00:06] You never get to the bottom of anything.

[1:00:10] Law of attraction just gives you more

[1:00:11] detail.

[1:00:13] Did I need to uh have all of that

[1:00:16] contrast, all of that rage, all of that

[1:00:18] in order to get to uh

[1:00:19] you didn't need it, but you didn't not

[1:00:22] want it. You said, "I'll go forth. I'll

[1:00:25] figure it out. I'm going I'm a teacher

[1:00:28] and I'm going to teach a lot of people."

[1:00:30] And the majority of people aren't born

[1:00:32] in feathered nests on high-flying discs.

[1:00:35] The majority of people are born

[1:00:37] somewhere on the emotional scale. and

[1:00:39] I'm a teacher and I'm wanting to write

[1:00:41] books that assist them and I can't write

[1:00:43] what I don't know.

[1:00:44] Wow. You can't imagine what you just

[1:00:47] touched in me because uh

[1:00:50] [applause]

[1:00:55] because I've just I've just written a

[1:00:56] book that's not even published. It won't

[1:00:58] be out until March and it's called I can

[1:01:01] see clearly. Yeah,

[1:01:03] clarity is Esther's new favorite word

[1:01:05] because when you're on that high-flying

[1:01:07] disc, clarity feels better than

[1:01:12] anything. To be clear-minded, which

[1:01:14] means to be sure-footed and know what to

[1:01:16] do.

[1:01:17] The book is I can see clearly now.

[1:01:19] I can see clearly now.

[1:01:21] It's a song, but it's it's also

[1:01:24] it's but I I can't

[1:01:26] remembering everything that I knew

[1:01:28] before I came forth into this physical

[1:01:30] body. and so much more that I picked up

[1:01:32] along my physical trail. All the

[1:01:34] contrast that I lived put things into my

[1:01:36] vortex that for a long time I didn't

[1:01:39] allow myself to see. But now I'm a

[1:01:42] vibrational match to everything that I

[1:01:44] put there. And it's a beautiful world

[1:01:45] that I have created. I've put enough in

[1:01:48] my vortex to keep myself busy for 20 or

[1:01:50] 30 lifetimes. And I'm eager about all of

[1:01:53] that. I see where the world is going. I

[1:01:57] see that others have the capacity to do

[1:02:00] this too. Look, no one needs to hold

[1:02:02] themselves in discomfort and

[1:02:04] disconnection, but there's no reason for

[1:02:07] it. The source is right there for all of

[1:02:09] us, whispering to us, speaking clearly

[1:02:12] to us. All we have to do is just listen

[1:02:14] a little. That's what I was going to ask

[1:02:16] you because it's this this book what

[1:02:18] I've done is uh I've taken the 58 just

[1:02:23] turns out there's 58 chapters and and

[1:02:24] and each one of them is just a u a look

[1:02:28] at I'm going along this way and then

[1:02:30] suddenly I'm making a left turn or a

[1:02:32] right turn or I'm doing a you about face

[1:02:35] and um and it's like

[1:02:38] you know like the first five books that

[1:02:40] I wrote for the public uh I never

[1:02:42] mentioned the word spirit God

[1:02:44] consciousness iousness, higher

[1:02:45] consciousness, higher awareness

[1:02:55] because I was writing this book looking

[1:02:56] back at it and uh in the next book it

[1:02:59] was uh it's called uh you'll see it when

[1:03:02] you believe it and it was uh there's

[1:03:04] like 39 references to that and then the

[1:03:07] next book after that has it in the title

[1:03:09] and then I'm giving lectures about it

[1:03:11] and then and it's like

[1:03:14] is Is there something? Is there is there

[1:03:16] some force in there? I mean, I made it a

[1:03:20] dramatic shift one time on the Long

[1:03:22] Island Expressway. Um, I was teaching at

[1:03:25] at the university in 1976,

[1:03:28] shortly after the visit to my father's

[1:03:30] grave, and I was driving down the LIE

[1:03:34] and I, which means lie. Um, and I, uh,

[1:03:38] pulled off to the side. It was something

[1:03:40] overwhelming and I was about to be

[1:03:42] granted tenure at this university and

[1:03:45] now everybody was looking for tenure and

[1:03:47] wanted tenure. Tenure is like, you know,

[1:03:49] you've got a job here for the rest of

[1:03:50] your life. You know, you're guaranteed

[1:03:52] you're going to be staying right here in

[1:03:54] this office doing the same thing that

[1:03:57] you've been doing for the last six

[1:03:58] years. And it was like a frightening

[1:04:00] kind of feeling for me. Uh and and I had

[1:04:03] how do you turn down tenure? I mean, it

[1:04:05] was hard to get I was going to be a full

[1:04:07] professor. I was going to have a

[1:04:08] guaranteed job for, you know, and all of

[1:04:10] this. And and I pulled off and something

[1:04:12] just was overwhelming. I mean, I

[1:04:14] actually got uh flushed and I got back

[1:04:18] in the car. I didn't call my family. I

[1:04:20] didn't I drove right to the university,

[1:04:22] went into the dean's office. Her name

[1:04:24] was Sarah Fasen Meyer. I said, "Dr.

[1:04:27] Fastenmeer," I said, "Um,

[1:04:29] this is my last semester. I can't I've

[1:04:32] written a book. It was called your own.

[1:04:34] I just took it out." I said I I can't

[1:04:36] take this. Uh and it it was like I can

[1:04:39] that was one of the chapters and I can

[1:04:41] see clearly now that moment when I I

[1:04:44] think what what was that? Was that

[1:04:45] source energy? Was that what was I mean

[1:04:48] just and from that moment on I mean I

[1:04:50] gave up I gave up all the benefits that

[1:04:53] you get from being employed with you

[1:04:55] know some

[1:04:56] you gave up bondage.

[1:04:57] Yeah. Yeah. did. And in the first year,

[1:05:00] in the first year that I after I made

[1:05:03] that decision and allowed that to

[1:05:05] happen, I made more money in the first

[1:05:07] year than I had made the previous 36

[1:05:08] years of my life.

[1:05:10] And that was just one little aspect of

[1:05:12] it.

[1:05:12] That's what we meant earlier when we

[1:05:14] said that everything that you desire is

[1:05:17] in your vibrational reality and the

[1:05:19] source within you knows where it all is

[1:05:22] and the path of least resistance to lead

[1:05:24] you to it. And it's not getting to it

[1:05:27] that is the big deal. It's the path that

[1:05:29] is so fun along the way.

[1:05:32] So, so when you really [clears throat]

[1:05:33] quick, so when you came into this

[1:05:35] physical body, there was that trajectory

[1:05:37] that we're talking about, that

[1:05:38] trajectory of well-being. So, let's say

[1:05:41] it's a path of least resistance, but

[1:05:43] it's one of ease. It's one of fun. It's

[1:05:46] one of following your bliss. It's one of

[1:05:48] joy. And most of the world doesn't

[1:05:50] resonate very well with that because you

[1:05:52] just look lazy to them. So you take a

[1:05:55] little tributo where you choose some

[1:05:58] other things and you give it everything

[1:06:00] you've got. But the whole time you do

[1:06:02] it, you can feel that this natural path

[1:06:05] is calling you. And sometimes the stakes

[1:06:08] get pretty strong. In other words, you

[1:06:10] could really feel, but the ultimate

[1:06:12] trajectory of who you really are always

[1:06:15] always wins. You see, we just don't know

[1:06:18] what it takes you all so long

[1:06:20] to relax and give in to your natural

[1:06:23] well-being. You see, and what we do

[1:06:25] know, it's that you're listening to the

[1:06:27] others who have all the lists of things

[1:06:29] that you need to do in order to please

[1:06:31] them instead of listening to what the

[1:06:34] source within you knows.

[1:06:37] You said something before when I said

[1:06:39] you hit a chord with me. It was like I

[1:06:42] if when you read I can see clearly now.

[1:06:44] It's um not that you're you need to

[1:06:46] read. I know that you know everything.

[1:06:48] Uh [laughter]

[1:06:50] but uh I'm speaking to all the rest of

[1:06:52] you mortals out there. Um

[1:06:55] the affirmation or the words, I am a

[1:06:57] teacher, which you must have said to me

[1:06:59] five or six times before is throughout

[1:07:02] this entire thing. I'm over and over

[1:07:04] saying these words, I am a teacher. I am

[1:07:07] not an employee. I am not somebody, you

[1:07:09] know, to I'm not to be told where to go

[1:07:11] or how I'm going to do it. I am an

[1:07:14] extension of source energy who has

[1:07:16] practiced my vibrational frequency into

[1:07:19] such alignment with my true nature that

[1:07:22] anything less than that feels off to me.

[1:07:25] And because I care about the way I feel,

[1:07:27] I guide myself easily now toward the

[1:07:30] things that feel good. And therefore, I

[1:07:32] am always on my path. and and the if the

[1:07:36] things

[1:07:36] and this book will lead you to yours

[1:07:39] and and the things that feel good um

[1:07:42] sometimes uh we confuse like things like

[1:07:46] it's safer. It's easier. It's but it

[1:07:49] doesn't feel so good inside.

[1:07:51] Well, safer feels better than than

[1:07:54] fear than danger. And so it's a step in

[1:07:57] the right direction. But you don't want

[1:07:59] to hang around

[1:08:01] reaching for safety because you can get

[1:08:04] a vibration going and then everything

[1:08:06] that's about that just shows itself to

[1:08:09] you. In other words, this is a self

[1:08:12] course that you're all on and you have

[1:08:16] source energy guiding you every step of

[1:08:18] the way. And when you find something

[1:08:21] that feels good, go that way.

[1:08:25] I had a a great teacher in my life. I

[1:08:27] was studying early to be a Yungian

[1:08:29] analyst, Carl Jung, and he said this,

[1:08:32] and I had to ask you this. He said, "At

[1:08:35] the same moment

[1:08:37] that you're a protagonist in your own

[1:08:39] life and you're making choices, at the

[1:08:42] very same moment, you're also the spear

[1:08:44] carrier or the extra in a much larger

[1:08:47] drama." He said, "All of you are doomed

[1:08:51] to make choices." And it sounds like

[1:08:53] such a contrast. It's such like a like

[1:08:57] it's like that's not a possibility. If

[1:08:58] you're doomed, how could you be making

[1:09:00] choices? But within our physical bodies,

[1:09:02] we're doomed. I mean, Esther showed up

[1:09:05] in a female body of a certain height and

[1:09:08] certain color hair and certain things

[1:09:09] and and I showed up in a 6'1 male body

[1:09:12] and and its hair is falling out and

[1:09:15] growing in its ears and all of the crazy

[1:09:16] things that are happening to it. And I'm

[1:09:18] just watching it. And so I know that

[1:09:20] within a but I also have choices to make

[1:09:23] about this body. I can feed it well. I

[1:09:25] can exercise it. I can, you know, do so

[1:09:27] many things to so I'm making choices

[1:09:29] within sort of a doomed state. But what

[1:09:31] about the other part of us, the

[1:09:33] spiritual side of us, the the uh

[1:09:35] well, we can see how someone who is

[1:09:38] trying to explain to someone who's not

[1:09:40] in this moment on the high-flying disc.

[1:09:42] Right?

[1:09:43] Other words, if someone's having a

[1:09:44] really hard time, we understand why

[1:09:47] someone would use words like doomed,

[1:09:50] right? Doomed. He didn't mean it in a

[1:09:52] you know

[1:09:53] meaning meaning unwanted choices meaning

[1:09:56] meaning that there are unwanted choices

[1:09:59] but what we have noticed is that as you

[1:10:04] have the long longer and longer

[1:10:07] opportunity to sift through the details

[1:10:09] of your life and personal preferences

[1:10:12] are born within you that you become

[1:10:16] clearer and clearer about who you are

[1:10:18] and what you want and then that's

[1:10:20] usually when we begin meeting our

[1:10:22] physical friends because they're usually

[1:10:24] at the point where they know that they

[1:10:28] or they want to believe that they are

[1:10:29] the creator of their own reality. They

[1:10:31] just don't know how to go about it. This

[1:10:35] is a new conversation that we are having

[1:10:37] recently

[1:10:38] because

[1:10:40] we want we so much want our physical

[1:10:43] friends to understand that you come as

[1:10:46] non-physical energy to explore contrast

[1:10:51] more than you would.

[1:10:53] In other words, in your physical body,

[1:10:54] you explore the contrast more than we do

[1:10:57] from the our non-physical vantage point.

[1:11:00] And out of that comes more detail, more

[1:11:04] improvement about this physical time

[1:11:06] space reality. The evolution of all

[1:11:08] species is dependent upon that

[1:11:12] contrasted experience. But when humans

[1:11:16] explore contrast and then want to

[1:11:19] compare manifestations, these are good

[1:11:22] manifestations. These are bad

[1:11:23] manifestations. These are manifestations

[1:11:25] that we want you to pursue. These are

[1:11:27] manifestations that we don't want you to

[1:11:29] pursue. and we need to come to some form

[1:11:31] of agreement which defies the intention

[1:11:33] that you all held when you came into

[1:11:35] your physical form. Then you just become

[1:11:38] shortage consciousness. Then you just

[1:11:40] become sort of fighting over the spoils

[1:11:44] rather than tapping into the energy that

[1:11:46] creates worlds and really loving the

[1:11:48] life that you've come to live. So, we

[1:11:51] get it that from a place of not feeling

[1:11:55] good that you could measure all kinds of

[1:11:57] not feeling good and separate it into

[1:11:59] all kinds of distinct um categories. But

[1:12:04] we would like you to just for a little

[1:12:06] while accept that you are vibration.

[1:12:09] Accept that you are source energy in

[1:12:11] physical bodies. Except that you are

[1:12:13] offering a vibration and that that

[1:12:15] vibration is being responded to by law

[1:12:17] of attraction. Accept that you can feel

[1:12:20] the opinion of source and the opinion of

[1:12:23] your vibration of your focused

[1:12:25] consciousness in every moment and every

[1:12:27] day. And that you can bring yourself

[1:12:30] back online with who you really are and

[1:12:33] what you came to live. Now, that sounds

[1:12:35] a little bit like you're a puppet on a

[1:12:37] string and that source energy has

[1:12:39] already defined what you're supposed to

[1:12:40] live. And that isn't what we mean at all

[1:12:42] because all this sifting and sorting has

[1:12:45] caused you to expand and your inner

[1:12:47] being has become the equivalent, the

[1:12:50] vibrational equivalent of all of that

[1:12:51] expansion. So, there is nothing that you

[1:12:55] have lived that the larger part of you

[1:12:57] has not become. And when you care about

[1:13:00] the way you feel now, you can become it

[1:13:02] here and now. And when you do, the first

[1:13:06] thing you feel is clarity. Clarity about

[1:13:08] which way to go. Clarity about whether

[1:13:10] to do this or not. Clarity about whether

[1:13:13] to have this conversation. Clarity about

[1:13:15] whether to go that way or that way.

[1:13:18] Clarity about whether to invest with

[1:13:19] that, whether to marry that. clarity

[1:13:21] because broader perspective knows who

[1:13:24] you are, knows everything about you and

[1:13:26] is offering a very strong, very clear

[1:13:29] opinion. But you got to practice tuning

[1:13:32] into it if you want that kind of

[1:13:34] guidance. And the alternative is really

[1:13:36] miserable because your physical friends

[1:13:38] are all wanting different things from

[1:13:39] you. You say, "Go this way, go this way,

[1:13:41] go this way, go this way, go this way."

[1:13:43] If you're off that path, if you if if

[1:13:45] you know that you have a dharma, you

[1:13:47] have a destiny, you have there's

[1:13:48] something I don't know, you're a great

[1:13:50] artist, you're for me it was a teacher,

[1:13:52] for me it was a writer, for me it was

[1:13:54] these are things that I've

[1:13:55] it is an uplifter for you. It is a

[1:13:58] keeper of the light so that others may

[1:14:01] find it. But when I got off that path,

[1:14:03] yeah,

[1:14:04] when I got when I would get away from

[1:14:06] it, you know, um some of the most

[1:14:09] profound changes in my life came when I

[1:14:11] was at the those lowest place in my life

[1:14:14] because when you you don't know what you

[1:14:15] do want until you know what you don't

[1:14:17] want. And some of that contrast launches

[1:14:19] some really big rockets and it puts you

[1:14:21] in touch with your emotional guidance

[1:14:22] system so that you can tell when you're

[1:14:24] on and when you're off.

[1:14:26] Does this is this this source energy

[1:14:28] what it's like if it finds if you you're

[1:14:32] programmed if you will or whatever it is

[1:14:33] that that you're you're you have

[1:14:35] something that you're to accomplish here

[1:14:37] you know in in this time it's not like

[1:14:38] it's not like

[1:14:39] it's not I know accomplish isn't the

[1:14:41] right word but it's like

[1:14:42] you have come for freedom growth and joy

[1:14:44] and when you're away from that when

[1:14:45] you're on a path that's taking you away

[1:14:47] from freedom from joy from love

[1:14:49] sucks.

[1:14:50] Yeah. But does does

[1:14:53] divine guidance come into your life at

[1:14:56] that time and say, "Okay,

[1:14:57] no. Divine guidance is into your life

[1:14:59] all the time.

[1:15:01] All the time." All the time. Divine

[1:15:03] guidance never goes away. It's just that

[1:15:05] the contrast makes you listen more.

[1:15:07] Yeah. I listen to

[1:15:08] Esther. Esther has found alignment that

[1:15:11] she never knew was there for her because

[1:15:13] of the discomfort she felt in Jerry

[1:15:16] making this transition,

[1:15:17] right?

[1:15:18] Didn't even know it was possible.

[1:15:21] miserable at first, worth it now.

[1:15:24] Yeah.

[1:15:25] I was being interviewed by the New York

[1:15:28] Times and Arthur Miller was there and

[1:15:30] Arthur Miller was a great American

[1:15:31] playright. You know, most of you know,

[1:15:34] Death of a Salesman, The Crucible and so

[1:15:36] on. He was 91 years old and he was asked

[1:15:39] the question by the interviewer, are are

[1:15:41] you working on another play? I was 91

[1:15:43] years old and he said uh and I've never

[1:15:46] forgotten this because it it really

[1:15:47] resonated with me. He said, he said, "I

[1:15:50] don't know, but I probably am."

[1:15:53] Meaning, I think that uh that there's

[1:15:56] something else moving these checkers

[1:15:58] around in this checker game that we're

[1:16:00] playing that

[1:16:01] Well, here's the thing, and then we'll

[1:16:03] take a segment of refreshment. You have

[1:16:06] been asking and you've put your

[1:16:09] preferences into a vibrational reality

[1:16:11] that you are not cashing in yet. So,

[1:16:16] yes, he's going to write another play.

[1:16:17] is already there. And when he stops

[1:16:20] talking about how tired he is and stops

[1:16:23] fussing over how incorrectly they handle

[1:16:26] his material and gets a good night's

[1:16:28] sleep, he'll wake up with an impression

[1:16:31] or an inspiration and off he'll go

[1:16:32] again.

[1:16:33] Exactly [clears throat] what I did with

[1:16:34] this last book. The date on June the

[1:16:36] 26th, I announced to my kids that I'm

[1:16:38] not writing any more books. I'm done

[1:16:40] writing. I've done enough. I've got I

[1:16:41] don't have to prove myself. I've done 40

[1:16:43] books and so on. June 27th, I was I woke

[1:16:46] up and I was writing and five months I

[1:16:49] wrote morning, noon, and night until I

[1:16:51] put my neck out of joint. I mean, I

[1:16:53] could not stop the writing.

[1:16:54] You just have to accept that your vortex

[1:16:56] has enough content in it to keep you

[1:16:58] busy for 20 or 30 lifetimes. And as long

[1:17:00] as you're having fun, then isn't that

[1:17:02] the point?

[1:17:03] Yeah, it was fun. It was just great joy.

[1:17:05] Great joy as it is to be with you.

[1:17:07] We're enjoying this immensely. Really

[1:17:09] good time for a segment of refreshment.

[1:17:12] [applause]

[1:17:15] [music]

[1:17:17] [applause]

[1:17:34] [sighs]

[1:17:42] [snorts]

[1:17:51] [sighs]

[1:17:55] We are eager to continue. If you are,

[1:17:58] I am.

[1:18:00] I was thinking at the end of the first

[1:18:03] session that uh about this guidance and

[1:18:06] about being able to see more clearly now

[1:18:08] in my life and and that it took um

[1:18:13] it took a lot of years and a lot of

[1:18:14] time, a lot of experiences for me to be

[1:18:16] able to step back and to see that the

[1:18:20] right people were showing up at the

[1:18:21] right time and that guidance was there.

[1:18:24] Um, and that

[1:18:27] you have to have kind of a willingness

[1:18:29] uh to listen and a determination to not

[1:18:32] allow other people to uh

[1:18:36] dictate to you what your life's purpose

[1:18:38] is. And um and that has to come from uh

[1:18:42] I was talking to Esther backstage about

[1:18:44] just just this afternoon I watched the

[1:18:46] movie called Jobs uh the story of Steve

[1:18:48] Jobs. And uh while he behaved in in a

[1:18:51] pretty crass way uh to uh many people,

[1:18:55] there was something inside of him that

[1:18:56] was an absolute knowing that um this is

[1:19:00] the way this is the way this industry

[1:19:02] has to go or this is the way this

[1:19:04] computer business or running his company

[1:19:05] or something and

[1:19:06] and he felt a certain level of

[1:19:08] frustration because he knew he was in

[1:19:11] alignment.

[1:19:12] Yeah. and was not able to convince the

[1:19:15] others because they were not in a place

[1:19:18] to hear him.

[1:19:19] And sometimes we find ourselves like in

[1:19:21] in relationships like I um I was in a

[1:19:25] relationship with my wife for many many

[1:19:26] years and um we separated uh 13 years

[1:19:29] ago. Um and it was um one of the tough

[1:19:35] trying times in my life. Um probably as

[1:19:38] close as I ever was to a depression. And

[1:19:42] yet it was it isn't always just the

[1:19:45] things that smell good and the things

[1:19:47] that look right and the things that make

[1:19:48] you feel right uh that make you make

[1:19:50] those right turns or those about faces

[1:19:52] and so on. Sometimes it's these um

[1:19:56] enormous obstacles and and you have to

[1:19:58] almost be fearless in uh

[1:20:01] we want to we want to tease all of you a

[1:20:02] little bit by saying to you that if you

[1:20:06] were more

[1:20:08] unwilling to put up with negative

[1:20:10] emotion, your lives would go a whole lot

[1:20:13] better for you.

[1:20:14] Well, say that again. That's

[1:20:15] you. You have trained yourselves to be

[1:20:17] willing to endure

[1:20:20] misalignment and then you make decisions

[1:20:23] without the clarity that you're talking

[1:20:25] about,

[1:20:26] right?

[1:20:26] And then you sort of have to go down

[1:20:28] that path a little ways until what

[1:20:31] happens. And it's true in the

[1:20:33] conversation that we had with you about

[1:20:35] your father. Mhm.

[1:20:37] And it certainly is true about how

[1:20:40] Esther felt when Jerry made his

[1:20:42] transition into non-physical.

[1:20:45] After a while, you just get really tired

[1:20:47] of feeling bad.

[1:20:50] And we don't think the stakes should be

[1:20:51] that high. We don't think you should

[1:20:53] have to let so much momentum go so that

[1:20:57] you're really feeling bad before you

[1:20:59] recognize that you could have it another

[1:21:01] way. M

[1:21:02] you say

[1:21:04] so sometimes it's like to be in a state

[1:21:06] almost of gratitude for the the

[1:21:09] hardships for the things that are

[1:21:11] that would take care of everything.

[1:21:12] Yeah.

[1:21:13] You could stay in a state of

[1:21:14] appreciation

[1:21:15] because appreciation is the way the

[1:21:17] source within you feels all the time

[1:21:19] about everything. So it would be

[1:21:22] constant continual chronic alignment

[1:21:26] because it was it was in that in those

[1:21:28] moments of despair that I was feeling

[1:21:31] that uh when I finally began to to to be

[1:21:34] grateful for it instead of being feeling

[1:21:36] sorry for myself that I I became a much

[1:21:39] more compassionate person and my writing

[1:21:42] took on a whole new flavor and the books

[1:21:44] that I wrote and the message in fact it

[1:21:46] was it was when I wrote the power of

[1:21:48] intention which was

[1:21:50] probably 50% of it was impacted by your

[1:21:54] teachings, by the teachings of Abraham.

[1:21:56] Um, it's it's all over that book. I

[1:21:58] couldn't because I was very deeply into

[1:22:01] uh um

[1:22:03] not allowing myself to to continue down

[1:22:07] this this path of despair. And when

[1:22:09] people are in relationships or in places

[1:22:11] or in jobs or whatever it is that um

[1:22:15] nothing but despair is showing up that

[1:22:18] uh the risk that we feel about changing

[1:22:21] it, getting out of it, moving along. Um,

[1:22:24] but if you're able to make the

[1:22:26] correlation between how you're feeling

[1:22:29] and what thoughts are behind you feeling

[1:22:33] the way you are,

[1:22:34] and then realizing that you can change

[1:22:37] the way you feel because you can change

[1:22:38] your thoughts

[1:22:40] and then events change,

[1:22:43] then you're off and running.

[1:22:45] It's just a matter of practicing on

[1:22:47] purpose, thinking and feeling on

[1:22:49] purpose.

[1:22:50] It's almost as if uh you different

[1:22:53] people start showing up in your life.

[1:22:55] Different circumstance. Carl called it

[1:22:57] synchronicity.

[1:22:58] Depends on what disc you're on. If

[1:22:59] you're on the honorary disc, henry ones

[1:23:01] show up.

[1:23:02] If you're on the high-flying disc,

[1:23:03] high-flying ones show up. If you're on

[1:23:05] the feel sorry for me disc, feel sorry

[1:23:08] for me disc, people show up. Law of

[1:23:10] attraction never gets it wrong.

[1:23:13] So God will send you smarter people

[1:23:16] [laughter]

[1:23:17] if you stop thinking in dumb ways.

[1:23:24] So you know what you don't want. You

[1:23:26] know what you do want. But knowing what

[1:23:29] you do want is brief because you just

[1:23:31] figured it out just now because you knew

[1:23:33] what you didn't want.

[1:23:35] And knowing what you don't want is a

[1:23:36] stronger vibration.

[1:23:38] So you don't start thinking about what

[1:23:40] you do want right away. is sort of

[1:23:42] illogical to you. It's not your pattern

[1:23:44] of thought. So, you think more about

[1:23:47] what you don't want, which causes you to

[1:23:48] launch another rocket of what you do

[1:23:50] want and another and another until

[1:23:52] there's quite a gap between where you

[1:23:55] are and what you're asking for where you

[1:23:58] are and what the source within you

[1:24:00] really is.

[1:24:02] Well, after a while, if your desire is

[1:24:05] really, really, really strong in a

[1:24:07] moment when you're not paying attention

[1:24:09] and arguing for your limitations,

[1:24:11] sometimes that desire can triumph and

[1:24:14] you can catch a glimpse of who you

[1:24:17] really are.

[1:24:18] And that's the benefit. We like to talk

[1:24:20] about your inner being who is always

[1:24:22] there with the light on. So, let's say

[1:24:25] you have a lot of friends and they're

[1:24:27] all over the place in terms of the way

[1:24:29] they feel and you are too. So you're

[1:24:31] sort of zigging and zagging and

[1:24:33] sometimes you hang out hang out in a

[1:24:35] good feeling place together but not

[1:24:36] usually you're just sort of zigging and

[1:24:38] zagging [clears throat]

[1:24:40] and then you figure this out. You start

[1:24:43] waking up deliberately and finding good

[1:24:45] feeling thoughts and practice them until

[1:24:47] other things like them are joining them

[1:24:50] and now you're consistently there. Well,

[1:24:53] your friends have been up and down and

[1:24:56] all around but now you're consistently

[1:24:58] there. Now they're going to rendev with

[1:25:00] you and you're going to have a teaching

[1:25:01] moment. You see, that's what your inner

[1:25:04] being has been doing all along. It

[1:25:06] always stays there. And sometimes you

[1:25:08] have that moment where you get it. You

[1:25:11] see, because words don't teach. It's

[1:25:13] only life experience that teaches.

[1:25:15] It seems like we get almost inundated

[1:25:17] with bad news, you know, like what we

[1:25:20] watch on.

[1:25:20] You're on the bad news disc. You do.

[1:25:22] Yeah. Yeah. Well, it's uh it's I find,

[1:25:26] you know, in the last few years,

[1:25:28] especially, the closer and closer I get

[1:25:30] to what I think of as divine love, just

[1:25:32] living from a place of of oneness, that

[1:25:36] um I'm not nearly as interested in in in

[1:25:39] hearing the news or in hearing other

[1:25:41] people's sad stories or, you know,

[1:25:43] there's just a horrible thing just

[1:25:45] happened uh in in the in the Philippines

[1:25:47] where 10,000 people uh they estimate,

[1:25:50] but it's come down and so on. Um, but to

[1:25:53] continuously watch, you know, the

[1:25:55] horrors of of the world and the violence

[1:25:58] and so on. Um,

[1:26:00] well, without realizing that watching it

[1:26:02] causes you to practice the vibration of

[1:26:03] it.

[1:26:04] And so now you've practiced the

[1:26:05] vibration of it, so you're going to

[1:26:06] rendevo with more of it.

[1:26:08] And it doesn't mean that you're going to

[1:26:09] have that horrible experience. But it

[1:26:11] does mean that more experiences like

[1:26:13] that are going to come into your

[1:26:14] consciousness and they're going to mute

[1:26:16] your sense of well-being. And then

[1:26:18] physical friends say, "Well, it seems

[1:26:20] like I should not just put my head in

[1:26:22] the sand. I shouldn't be oblivious to

[1:26:24] what's going on in the world." And we

[1:26:26] say we would be a selective sifter. We

[1:26:29] would we would do our best to see our

[1:26:32] world through the eyes of source because

[1:26:35] source is looking at the expansion.

[1:26:38] Source is looking at what is wanted.

[1:26:40] When you define that you want something,

[1:26:42] source looks there. And when you look in

[1:26:45] opposition to what you have defined for

[1:26:47] source, you separate yourself from

[1:26:49] source. The vibrational frequency of a

[1:26:53] question and an answer are very

[1:26:56] different frequencies. And the

[1:26:58] vibrational frequency of a problem and a

[1:27:00] solution are very different frequencies.

[1:27:04] So when you realize source is on the

[1:27:06] solution frequency and when you're not,

[1:27:09] you feel bad because you're not going to

[1:27:12] feel the inspiration. You're going to

[1:27:14] maybe feel more contrast and maybe

[1:27:17] launch more rockets and good can come

[1:27:20] from it. We we just think that it

[1:27:24] doesn't have to be so hard for so many

[1:27:26] of you.

[1:27:27] But do you have to constantly be aware

[1:27:29] of the kinds of thoughts that are there?

[1:27:31] I mean, they just come. But you have to

[1:27:33] care about how you feel. Because if you

[1:27:35] care about how you feel, when you start

[1:27:38] down the track that is not in keeping

[1:27:40] with the source within you, you'll feel

[1:27:42] the emptiness. And it's that's exactly

[1:27:44] what it is. You'll feel that you have

[1:27:47] diverged from what source thinks about

[1:27:50] this. That's amazing because years ago

[1:27:53] when I first got a cell phone, uh, I had

[1:27:55] to put a message on there and I was very

[1:27:57] heavy into your work at that time. And

[1:28:00] so I put a an answering on my machine

[1:28:03] and it said this is Wayne Dyer that

[1:28:05] you've reached and I want to feel good.

[1:28:07] That's what I said. I want to feel good.

[1:28:09] And if your message is designed to do

[1:28:10] anything other than that, you've reached

[1:28:13] the wrong number. Perhaps you should

[1:28:15] maybe you want to call Dr. Phil or

[1:28:16] someone you know who wants to hear bad

[1:28:18] news. And I've still kept that's still

[1:28:20] my message on my answering machine

[1:28:22] because I want to feel good. Now

[1:28:24] thoughts

[1:28:25] that's the message that source has too.

[1:28:27] Right? So when we're having thoughts

[1:28:31] that don't make us feel good, we're in a

[1:28:33] relationship with someone that doesn't

[1:28:34] make us feel. We're in a job that that

[1:28:36] doesn't make us feel good. Um is is

[1:28:40] source energy going to offer us up

[1:28:41] experiences that are going to match up

[1:28:43] to what we are thinking that is feeling

[1:28:46] bad, feeling horrible?

[1:28:48] It isn't. It isn't source that's giving

[1:28:49] it to you. There's no lesson being

[1:28:51] applied.

[1:28:52] Well, I always talk about the right

[1:28:53] certain people will show up in your life

[1:28:55] experiences, synchronistic kinds of

[1:28:57] things.

[1:28:57] Always things are always working out for

[1:28:59] you.

[1:29:00] Always.

[1:29:04] So, it's like you you your gauge is to

[1:29:08] is to look at your feeling. Well, how do

[1:29:09] I feel? What how does this what does

[1:29:11] this feel like in my body? And if it

[1:29:13] doesn't feel good, instantly go back to

[1:29:17] whatever thought it is that I'm having

[1:29:19] that is allowing this to take place. I

[1:29:21] mean, can we all just always feel good

[1:29:23] all the time?

[1:29:24] The way we like to explain it is that

[1:29:28] when you

[1:29:30] offer a thought

[1:29:33] about anything,

[1:29:35] source who is always walking with you,

[1:29:37] thinking with you, living with you, is

[1:29:41] having a thought about the same thing

[1:29:43] that you're having a thought.

[1:29:45] That's really important to hear.

[1:29:47] And when you feel good, your thoughts in

[1:29:50] sync with the way source thinks about

[1:29:52] it. And when you feel bad, you're off

[1:29:55] the track of what source knows about

[1:29:57] this. And you also have to understand

[1:30:00] that you're the one who parlayed. You're

[1:30:03] the one who told source who you are and

[1:30:05] what you want. In other words, you are

[1:30:07] the creator of your own reality. Source

[1:30:09] is the one who holds the vibrational

[1:30:12] frequency of what you're asking for.

[1:30:14] It's not possible for you to desire

[1:30:16] something that would be detrimental to

[1:30:18] anyone and feel good at the same time

[1:30:21] because if you set forth an intention

[1:30:23] like that, you would deviate from the

[1:30:25] vibration of source and you would feel

[1:30:27] the emptiness of it. You see? So, it

[1:30:30] really is about caring about the way you

[1:30:32] feel, thinking more deliberately and

[1:30:35] keeping an ear to the ground about how

[1:30:36] you feel.

[1:30:40] And if you don't feel good,

[1:30:41] don't worry, it will get bigger.

[1:30:45] What will get bigger?

[1:30:46] The thought will get bigger and the

[1:30:49] awareness that you have diverged from

[1:30:51] who you really are will get bigger

[1:30:53] and ultimately you'll just walk away

[1:30:55] from that. You'll leave that situation.

[1:30:57] And I'm thinking about again the movie I

[1:30:58] saw this afternoon about Steve Jobs um

[1:31:01] where it was just [snorts] um he didn't

[1:31:05] feel good about the just the way things

[1:31:08] were going in in in in the working of

[1:31:10] his uh of his uh company and so on. And

[1:31:14] he just had an absolute knowing which

[1:31:16] I've had my whole life an absolute

[1:31:18] knowing about how to do what I do. And I

[1:31:21] listen nicely because I'm I'm I'm nicer

[1:31:24] than Steve Jobs was. uh to two people

[1:31:27] who tell me how I should be doing

[1:31:29] things, but inside there's this uh

[1:31:31] there's this this absolute knowing that

[1:31:33] I can't um I can't veer away from and

[1:31:36] it's it's

[1:31:38] true masters

[1:31:41] have figured out how to access this

[1:31:43] energy that creates worlds. They know

[1:31:45] what leverage feels like and they get

[1:31:48] hooked on it. And so when you're

[1:31:50] accustomed to things moving in big ways

[1:31:53] because you've accessed this energy

[1:31:55] because you've figured out how to stop

[1:31:57] shooting yourself in the foot and you've

[1:31:59] practiced it and you've allowed the

[1:32:01] momentum to get going. Then when you

[1:32:03] deviate from it, you take it pretty hard

[1:32:06] and you know it. He reached the place

[1:32:09] and many of you do where you just get

[1:32:12] tired of trying to convince people who

[1:32:14] are on different vibrational discs what

[1:32:17] you mean. In other words, he reached the

[1:32:19] place where he realized and accurately

[1:32:22] that if he were to try to convince them

[1:32:25] of the course that he believed was

[1:32:27] right, that he would risk his own

[1:32:29] alignment and he wasn't willing to do

[1:32:30] it. And so he stepped away, created a

[1:32:33] whole other company,

[1:32:35] found vibrational alignment, and

[1:32:37] eventually things came back around to

[1:32:39] him. But

[1:32:42] the way we like to describe it is

[1:32:45] most physical beings live in a world

[1:32:47] where they're trying to please each

[1:32:48] other. They have given their guidance

[1:32:50] system away long ago because when your

[1:32:53] mother or some someone holds you as her

[1:32:56] object of attention and approves of what

[1:32:58] you do feels good to you. So you keep

[1:33:01] trying to do things that will make her

[1:33:03] feel approval which feels good to you

[1:33:06] without realizing that every step along

[1:33:08] that way that you are giving up your

[1:33:11] potential awareness of your own guidance

[1:33:15] that is coming forth from within. So a

[1:33:18] lot of people come to believe in action

[1:33:20] and words and group consensus

[1:33:24] and they create to a certain degree but

[1:33:27] compared to those who tap into this

[1:33:30] energy stream it is a very mediocre

[1:33:33] creating. So there are a lot of people

[1:33:35] who learn to be nice because it's

[1:33:37] expected of them. And we're not saying

[1:33:40] that niceness that you can't be nice at

[1:33:44] all situations. We're just saying it's a

[1:33:47] normal thing when you're focused upon

[1:33:50] the exact opposite of what you want.

[1:33:52] It's a normal thing to feel bad and it

[1:33:55] is not a normal thing to convince

[1:33:57] yourself that you feel good when you

[1:33:59] don't. And that's what you witnessed in

[1:34:02] that documentary.

[1:34:04] He wasn't willing to pretend that he was

[1:34:06] in that leverage that he was so

[1:34:08] accustomed to when he was not. And so he

[1:34:11] just stepped back and said, "Fine, you

[1:34:13] all do it the way you want to do it

[1:34:15] because you are beating to a different

[1:34:17] drummer than I am." And eventually they

[1:34:20] came back begging him to assist them.

[1:34:24] After I declared that I wasn't writing

[1:34:25] another book and that I was done with

[1:34:27] that and I was tired and I didn't have

[1:34:28] to do that anymore. And then I wrote for

[1:34:30] five straight months every single day.

[1:34:32] I'm already writing another book and

[1:34:34] that one isn't even published yet.

[1:34:36] There's no end to your books.

[1:34:37] Yeah. just give just give into it.

[1:34:41] Just give into it.

[1:34:43] And I mean two things. One is I was

[1:34:46] thinking like when I was when I was 12

[1:34:48] 13 years old um it's one of the chapters

[1:34:51] and I can see clearly now. I was

[1:34:52] watching uh everybody else was watching

[1:34:54] Milton Burl uh on Tuesday nights, Mr.

[1:34:57] Tuesday night, Mr. Comedy and so on. But

[1:35:00] I was watching uh a show by a a Catholic

[1:35:03] bishop, Bishop Sheen. It was called um

[1:35:05] Life is Worth Living. And I was 12 years

[1:35:08] old, 13 years old in 1953. And I was

[1:35:11] actually taking notes on uh on this show

[1:35:14] because I just loved the show. I had a

[1:35:17] stepfather for a few years uh and he was

[1:35:19] Catholic and he would turn this thing

[1:35:21] on. So there was no Milton Burl uh in

[1:35:24] our where I lived. Uh, but I mean I

[1:35:26] couldn't wait for Tuesday night and I

[1:35:28] was thinking 13 years old and I'm

[1:35:32] writing I'm writing notes on a show

[1:35:35] called Life is Worth Living

[1:35:37] because

[1:35:38] well I've written 40 books that that

[1:35:39] could have been the subtitle to

[1:35:40] but because you're 13 years old and

[1:35:43] doing that because

[1:35:45] because it seems to me now as I step

[1:35:47] back I didn't know it at the time

[1:35:49] then though because you were doing it

[1:35:51] then because

[1:35:52] because this was

[1:35:54] it felt good to This is what I was

[1:35:56] It was clarity,

[1:35:58] right? So now,

[1:36:00] so he was a man tuned in, tapped in,

[1:36:02] turned on,

[1:36:04] offering a vibration.

[1:36:05] You listened to him long enough to feel

[1:36:07] some resonance with it,

[1:36:08] right?

[1:36:09] It called you back,

[1:36:10] a very important piece in the unfolding

[1:36:12] of that which is you

[1:36:14] tuning. He was tuning you to the

[1:36:16] frequency of your source.

[1:36:20] Was this was this like extraterrestri

[1:36:23] was this uh celestial guidance? I mean

[1:36:26] was this uh

[1:36:27] it always is.

[1:36:29] [laughter]

[1:36:30] It always is. None of you are here

[1:36:32] alone. All of you are powerful creators.

[1:36:35] All of you are meaningful and important.

[1:36:38] All of you have come with great reason

[1:36:40] and purpose. And if you don't feel

[1:36:43] fabulous, you've deviated somewhere

[1:36:45] along your trail. And it's time to wake

[1:36:46] up in the morning and reach for the

[1:36:48] high-f flying disc and train yourself

[1:36:50] back on it and find out who you are.

[1:36:52] So that everybody, everybody watching,

[1:36:54] everybody here, it's like when when

[1:36:57] there's something inside of you that's

[1:36:58] calling, it's like I I just think of it

[1:37:00] as a calling.

[1:37:01] By the time you hear the calling though,

[1:37:02] you have trained yourself to the

[1:37:04] frequency and that calling feels like

[1:37:06] inspiration. In other words, that's when

[1:37:08] you it starts being revealed to you. You

[1:37:11] start realizing it. You see,

[1:37:13] by the time you feel the calling, you've

[1:37:15] been in the frequency long enough that

[1:37:16] you're starting to translate it into

[1:37:18] something that's meaningful for you.

[1:37:21] Yeah. And that's a self-taught course.

[1:37:23] Yeah.

[1:37:25] It's interesting because uh now this

[1:37:28] thing that I'm writing, I mean, I I took

[1:37:29] the Dao Ding, this famous book written

[1:37:32] 2500 years ago and and wrote my

[1:37:35] interpretations of it in a book when I

[1:37:38] turned 65, eight years ago. Uh, and now

[1:37:41] I I I have a place on Maui and um I had

[1:37:45] four uh things that I had to do. Uh I

[1:37:48] had to stop at the Safeway uh to get

[1:37:52] some gift cards cuz I was going to see

[1:37:54] my kids.

[1:37:54] I had to stop at the bank to get some

[1:37:56] cash because my kids you have to save

[1:38:00] lots of cash for that. I stop I had to

[1:38:02] stop at the vitamin store because I

[1:38:03] wanted to pick up some supplements

[1:38:05] because I was going on this trip and

[1:38:07] this is a part of that trip and I wanted

[1:38:09] to stop at another store that sells

[1:38:11] something called pokey which is this

[1:38:14] wonderful Hawaiian uh food that I love.

[1:38:17] Uh and then I was going to come back to

[1:38:20] where I was going home. But instead my

[1:38:23] car actually drove me. I wasn't driving.

[1:38:27] I'm I I don't even know how to say this.

[1:38:29] I was just uh

[1:38:30] you were inspired to behavior that

[1:38:32] wasn't coming from your conscious mind

[1:38:34] because you were in vibrational accord

[1:38:36] with broader perspective who knows who

[1:38:38] you really are and where you really

[1:38:40] meant to go.

[1:38:41] Okay. So, it took me to Barnes & Noble.

[1:38:44] Okay. [laughter]

[1:38:47] [applause] And I'm at Barnes & Noble and

[1:38:49] I'm walking into Barnes & Noble and I'm

[1:38:51] I'm halfway out of the car and said,

[1:38:54] "What am I doing here at Barnes & Noble?

[1:38:56] I got to get back home. I got a flight

[1:38:57] to catch. I got and I'm over to and I'm

[1:38:59] I'm going to take this another classic

[1:39:02] text that's called the Bavad Gita that

[1:39:04] was written again 2500 or so years.

[1:39:07] Fast forward for a little bit and

[1:39:08] imagine being in the clarity that you're

[1:39:10] in now

[1:39:11] walking through Barnes & Noble and

[1:39:13] knowing that there's something really

[1:39:14] important there for you. Feeling that

[1:39:16] sort of clarity about it.

[1:39:18] Other words, you stumbled into it and

[1:39:19] you knew it when you saw it. But

[1:39:20] wouldn't you like that clarity every

[1:39:22] step of the way?

[1:39:23] I would.

[1:39:23] Yeah,

[1:39:24] I would.

[1:39:25] Yeah,

[1:39:25] I have it. Yes,

[1:39:26] but not every step.

[1:39:27] Yeah,

[1:39:28] but a lot of them, a lot more of them

[1:39:30] than I used to.

[1:39:31] So there I am looking through various

[1:39:33] things on the Bavad Gita because it's

[1:39:34] just been a calling. I just think that

[1:39:36] this ancient text has been

[1:39:37] misinterpreted in so many ways and

[1:39:39] there's

[1:39:40] like all ancient texts. Okay,

[1:39:42] give it up.

[1:39:43] And [laughter]

[1:39:44] you have access to source energy now.

[1:39:48] Okay,

[1:39:48] right now all of you

[1:39:50] but I want to ask you something from

[1:39:52] there. Okay. And in the Bhagavad Gita,

[1:39:55] it's a simple story of uh Arjuna, this

[1:39:58] man who's getting ready to go to battle

[1:40:00] and um his

[1:40:02] lowline disc, [laughter]

[1:40:04] right? And his uh charioteer turns out

[1:40:08] to be Krishna turns out to be source

[1:40:11] energy, God. All right.

[1:40:12] Not on a lovely in the in the Gita.

[1:40:15] Yeah. So he's being given this advice

[1:40:18] about I am you know and so much of it is

[1:40:20] in alignment with what what you say but

[1:40:22] there's a point in there that is so so

[1:40:25] troubled me as I start because I've read

[1:40:27] the entire Bhagavad Gita three times now

[1:40:29] in the last couple of months and I don't

[1:40:32] even know why I just keep reading it and

[1:40:34] going through it and taking notes on it

[1:40:35] and writing and it's like I and I feel I

[1:40:38] mean I even know the date that I'm going

[1:40:39] to start the writing and so on. That's

[1:40:40] all.

[1:40:41] Maybe it's because the original authors

[1:40:43] would like to help you clear it up and

[1:40:44] write it the way it was meant to be

[1:40:46] heard.

[1:40:46] Maybe.

[1:40:48] Maybe. I don't know. It's just But there

[1:40:50] is a point where he's ready to go to

[1:40:52] battle and he's going to and he has said

[1:40:54] that this is his duty and Krishna source

[1:40:58] energy supposedly God says to him go and

[1:41:02] do your duty. If it means killing people

[1:41:04] then that's your duty because you don't

[1:41:06] get to kill anybody. I take all life.

[1:41:08] I'm responsible for all life. and he

[1:41:10] goes off into battle, you know, to do

[1:41:12] his duty. My question to you, Abraham,

[1:41:14] is um

[1:41:17] do we have duties, you know, that

[1:41:19] involve doing things that are

[1:41:21] inconsistent with the with divine love?

[1:41:23] Do we

[1:41:23] never But when you're on the lowline

[1:41:25] disc, what you hear sounds like a

[1:41:29] message. In other words, now this here

[1:41:31] here's how it works.

[1:41:34] So, let's say that you you get on the

[1:41:36] disc of revenge or worry or insecurity

[1:41:40] and you stay there for a while and you

[1:41:43] you read online about it and you talk

[1:41:45] with other people about it. So, you get

[1:41:47] a lot of momentum going and and the key

[1:41:49] word here is you get a lot of momentum

[1:41:52] going. So there is a frequency the

[1:41:55] frequency of despair the frequency of

[1:42:00] audreyiness the frequency of hope the

[1:42:03] frequency of love there's a frequency

[1:42:06] these are the different discs but once

[1:42:09] you spend a little bit of time on a disc

[1:42:11] law of attraction

[1:42:13] provides momentum.

[1:42:16] So when you get on that disc of revenge

[1:42:21] and you talk with others about it and

[1:42:25] you fan the flames of your

[1:42:29] dysfunction and your wrong, how you've

[1:42:32] been wronged

[1:42:34] and others join you and the momentum

[1:42:36] gets very very strong. Eventually enough

[1:42:39] momentum happens that you feel what

[1:42:42] feels like an inspiration to act. It's

[1:42:46] momentum. It's it's the force of

[1:42:49] something that that is moving in the

[1:42:52] direction that it has been moving. But

[1:42:54] we promise you, you never get that kind

[1:42:58] of momentum from source energy.

[1:43:00] So

[1:43:00] source never joins you on the revenge

[1:43:02] disc ever. But we can see how it feels

[1:43:05] like it because the revenge sure felt

[1:43:07] better than being taken advantage of.

[1:43:10] And it sure felt better to overtake them

[1:43:12] than to be overtaken by them. But there

[1:43:16] is another way, you see, and if you're

[1:43:19] on that disc, then you're not even

[1:43:20] playing that game.

[1:43:22] And so there's a lot of people who are

[1:43:25] living their lives doing things that uh

[1:43:29] are just my job. But in fact their jobs

[1:43:32] involve u a lot of uh a lot of violence,

[1:43:35] a lot of hatred, a lot of killing, a lot

[1:43:37] of things that are inconsistent with uh

[1:43:41] higher awareness, higher consciousness

[1:43:42] and justifying it on the basis of what

[1:43:45] what Krishna is saying to uh to Arjuna

[1:43:48] which is this is your duty. I don't you

[1:43:51] don't get to take life. I take all life

[1:43:53] and all life is given by me speaking as

[1:43:55] God or source. We are not taking issue

[1:43:59] with anything that anyone decides that

[1:44:01] they want to do. We are not saying that

[1:44:03] that behavior is wrong while another

[1:44:05] behavior is right. But we are saying

[1:44:09] unless you are in sync with the source

[1:44:12] within you, the behavior that you're

[1:44:14] offering isn't inspired. It's motivated.

[1:44:17] It's not coming from source. It's coming

[1:44:19] from the spin-off of man's conscious

[1:44:21] mind. In other words, source would never

[1:44:25] guide you to negative behavior toward

[1:44:28] any other. And if you feel that you're

[1:44:30] being guided toward negative behavior

[1:44:33] toward others, you've just got momentum

[1:44:35] going on a lower flying disc.

[1:44:37] And

[1:44:38] well, one one one soldier a day commits

[1:44:41] suicide. Uh

[1:44:43] because he is off the trajectory of who

[1:44:45] he really knows himself to be.

[1:44:47] He can't bear that behavior.

[1:44:52] So

[1:44:55] here's what we would do. So, so here you

[1:44:58] stand. You're listening in on this all

[1:44:59] of you and we're having a very indepth

[1:45:02] truly leading edge conversation about

[1:45:04] it. And so you think about soldiers who

[1:45:07] are doing their duty and you want to

[1:45:10] feel patriotic and you want to

[1:45:12] appreciate them for their sacrifices and

[1:45:14] you appreciate the things that they're

[1:45:16] doing on behalf of your nation. Well,

[1:45:19] those feelings feel good to you when

[1:45:21] those are good feeling thoughts.

[1:45:24] So that's the aspect of that that you

[1:45:27] want to focus upon. So let's say that

[1:45:30] you are aware that negative behavior

[1:45:35] truly awful things are happening to

[1:45:38] people in villages somewhere. And when

[1:45:41] you focus upon it, it takes you to your

[1:45:44] knees because it is such a departure

[1:45:46] from who you really are. So what do you

[1:45:49] do? Do you hide your head in the sand?

[1:45:51] Do you condemn those who are doing it?

[1:45:53] Or do you let this contrasting

[1:45:56] experience help you to find what you

[1:45:58] want? And do you then line up with that?

[1:46:01] So, do you then begin telling the story

[1:46:03] of a world that is more compassionate?

[1:46:06] Of a world that is understanding more

[1:46:07] clearly who they are? Of a world where

[1:46:10] all children are eating, where children

[1:46:11] are waking up and feeling secure in

[1:46:13] their own beds, where parents are waking

[1:46:16] up and understanding that the world is

[1:46:18] big enough for all of them. In other

[1:46:20] words, you can beat the drum of

[1:46:22] dysfunction and it is an easy thing to

[1:46:24] do in this world with all of this media,

[1:46:26] but it never feels good to you when you

[1:46:29] do it. And you have choices that if you

[1:46:31] will make them, you will discover your

[1:46:33] true power. Because one who's connected

[1:46:35] to the stream is more powerful than

[1:46:37] millions who are not. You see?

[1:46:39] Oh, it's so true.

[1:46:40] So if you hold yourself in a vision of

[1:46:42] what you want relative to whatever is

[1:46:45] happening with this war or with this

[1:46:48] experience and you are able to find

[1:46:51] yourself in sync with source, you'll

[1:46:54] feel inspiration. And the thing that is

[1:46:57] most important is that without even

[1:47:00] going, without even sending your

[1:47:02] dollars, you are trading in a

[1:47:04] vibrational currency. And when you sync

[1:47:08] up with source and you hold those things

[1:47:11] as your object of attention, people who

[1:47:13] are there, who are also tired of that,

[1:47:16] who know that this isn't the answer, may

[1:47:20] have an opportunity of picking up on

[1:47:22] that path of least resistance that you

[1:47:24] have carved out. And an idea is born

[1:47:26] within them. You see,

[1:47:28] I see a lot of that. I mean, I get a lot

[1:47:30] of a lot of mail and so on from people

[1:47:31] who are in that.

[1:47:33] You can change the world, but the world

[1:47:35] doesn't need to be changed. And those

[1:47:38] that seems like a paradox, but if you

[1:47:41] believe the world needs to be changed,

[1:47:43] and so you're efforting now, you're

[1:47:44] preventing your alignment with the

[1:47:46] source that allows you the goods in

[1:47:48] order to change it. And so, you have to

[1:47:50] work yourself into alignment. and then

[1:47:53] get on the high-flying disc and then

[1:47:58] I think about you know it's like so so

[1:48:00] much of our

[1:48:02] I often give it in in my talks give this

[1:48:04] example of uh if I gave you a a currency

[1:48:08] of a of of a million dollars and I said

[1:48:10] go out and spend this on everything that

[1:48:12] you want you know we can go to the mall

[1:48:15] and just buy anything that you want and

[1:48:17] you start walking through stores and you

[1:48:18] start every store you go into you buy

[1:48:20] something that you don't like send Send

[1:48:22] me 10 of these. Send me 50 of these. And

[1:48:24] then you get home and you ask, "Why is

[1:48:27] my house filled with so much stuff that

[1:48:30] I don't want?" And the answer, I always

[1:48:31] say, is because you're crazy.

[1:48:33] Because you tried to fill the void with

[1:48:35] action. You tried to fill the void,

[1:48:37] you're looking for love in all the wrong

[1:48:38] places. You tried to fill the void with

[1:48:41] action and things rather than alignment.

[1:48:44] And that doesn't mean that in alignment

[1:48:46] you won't be inspired to want some

[1:48:47] things. But if the inspiration comes

[1:48:50] from alignment, they will be meaningful

[1:48:52] things.

[1:48:53] But art isn't so much of our inner

[1:48:55] attention not only on what we don't

[1:48:56] want. Um and we spend this currency

[1:48:59] which is our thoughts, you know, to

[1:49:01] create what we want, but it's on what

[1:49:02] other people want for us or it's on how

[1:49:04] things used to be or it's even on what

[1:49:07] is. I mean, if your thought if you don't

[1:49:09] like what is and your thoughts are on

[1:49:12] what is, it seems to me that you're

[1:49:13] going to just create more and more of

[1:49:15] what is. It comes from people's belief

[1:49:18] that they should face reality.

[1:49:20] And most people offer most of their

[1:49:22] vibration in response to what they're

[1:49:24] observing. So they observe it, they

[1:49:26] offer a vibration, they get more of it.

[1:49:28] And so of course they come to believe it

[1:49:30] because they focused on it and it came

[1:49:32] to them and so they believe it. But when

[1:49:35] you realize that you have the option of

[1:49:38] focusing on things that you really want

[1:49:40] and that those things will come to you

[1:49:41] too, then then you're a deliberate

[1:49:44] creator rather than a creator by

[1:49:46] default.

[1:49:47] It's a wonderful thing when you realize

[1:49:50] how quickly law of attraction is

[1:49:52] responding to your vibration. But it is

[1:49:54] an even more wonderful thing when you

[1:49:56] realize that law of attraction is

[1:49:58] responding to your vibration and that

[1:50:01] you can feel the alignment, resonance or

[1:50:06] misalignment, discord

[1:50:09] of law of attraction responding to the

[1:50:12] source within you. Now that's something

[1:50:14] that we've not talked about before.

[1:50:17] As you have been expanding and evolving,

[1:50:19] the source within you is beating the

[1:50:21] drum of who you are. And there's this

[1:50:24] powerful trajectory of wonderful things

[1:50:26] flowing to you. And when you get off the

[1:50:29] track from that, you really feel it. You

[1:50:31] see, and when you relax and let yourself

[1:50:34] get back on the track, then you feel

[1:50:36] your clarity. Then you feel your

[1:50:37] abundance. Then you feel your

[1:50:39] worthiness. Then you feel your fun and

[1:50:41] vitality and eagerness and passion. Then

[1:50:43] life is good for you just the way you

[1:50:45] intended.

[1:50:48] Are there ascended masters out there? I

[1:50:50] mean, we hear so much about people like

[1:50:52] St. Germaine and Jesus and people who've

[1:50:54] uh you know who are you know

[1:50:57] this alignment is not like a college

[1:50:59] degree where once you achieve it it is

[1:51:02] yours forever more.

[1:51:03] It either is or it isn't in the moment

[1:51:05] but there certainly are those who catch

[1:51:08] the spirit of that alignment and work to

[1:51:11] maintain it. And that's what you're

[1:51:13] talking about.

[1:51:14] And can we access I mean can we access

[1:51:17] these people or

[1:51:18] they're available to you at all times.

[1:51:20] Just get focused on what they're

[1:51:21] interested in and see how readily

[1:51:24] available they are to you.

[1:51:25] And what are they interested in?

[1:51:27] Everything that you're interested in

[1:51:30] from their vantage point. They're eager.

[1:51:34] You know that this is the leading edge

[1:51:36] of thought.

[1:51:38] This is where it's at. Humans think that

[1:51:41] this is just a trial ground and that

[1:51:43] heaven is where it's at. But this is the

[1:51:46] leading edge of thought. This is where

[1:51:47] thought manifests.

[1:51:51] Earth's crammed with heaven.

[1:51:53] Earth is heaven or hell, your choice.

[1:51:59] [applause]

[1:52:00] And speaking of hell, is does such a

[1:52:02] thing exist? Is this just

[1:52:04] only in the mind of a disconnected

[1:52:05] human, the animals don't know it, only

[1:52:08] humans who pinch themsel off from

[1:52:11] clarity? Wouldn't you call confusion a

[1:52:14] sort of hell? Wouldn't you call lethargy

[1:52:18] a sort of hell?

[1:52:20] People who've behaved in in horrific

[1:52:22] ways is there punishment uh uh when they

[1:52:25] leave this uh this earthly plane

[1:52:28] that really disappoints humans when we

[1:52:30] tell them that that that that is not the

[1:52:32] case. The greatest punishment is

[1:52:36] self-inflicted as you deprive yourself

[1:52:39] of the energy of source which is

[1:52:42] available to you at all times. And when

[1:52:44] you disallow that, it's very unpleasant.

[1:52:48] But when you reemerge back into the

[1:52:50] non-physical, you will leave behind all

[1:52:52] doubt and fear, all grudges, all hatred,

[1:52:55] all misunderstanding, and you will

[1:52:58] become a vibrational equivalent to all

[1:53:00] that this life and before has caused you

[1:53:03] to become.

[1:53:05] So all of the low points in our own

[1:53:07] lives, when I think when I think of uh

[1:53:10] as I was writing this, I can see clearly

[1:53:13] now. I I I I look at uh at some of the

[1:53:17] things that I did, the ways that I

[1:53:18] behaved, uh my consciousness, and and I

[1:53:21] And how would you know you're seeing

[1:53:23] clearly if you didn't see not clearly?

[1:53:25] How would you appreciate the clarity

[1:53:28] that you've now found if you hadn't

[1:53:29] lived in some of that? And how could you

[1:53:32] live other than what you're living with

[1:53:34] the source right there calling you

[1:53:35] forward, calling you forward, calling

[1:53:37] you forward, and then it's easy to get

[1:53:38] all the way forward and look back and

[1:53:40] say, "Shouldn't have been on that path

[1:53:41] and shouldn't have been on that path."

[1:53:42] when source called you every step along

[1:53:44] the way because it was the path of least

[1:53:46] resistance and therefore the only path

[1:53:48] that was available to you at the time is

[1:53:50] a good thing to give yourselves a break.

[1:53:53] Source is not judging you. You do it to

[1:53:56] yourself and then you pinch yourself off

[1:53:58] from source. But I think of the I don't

[1:54:01] know but just I've just been lucky

[1:54:04] that um had

[1:54:07] had I been found out some of the things

[1:54:09] that I you know the ways that I had

[1:54:11] behaved at earlier times in my life.

[1:54:13] But things are always working out for

[1:54:14] you and your behavior didn't deserve

[1:54:18] punishment. It didn't deserve finding

[1:54:20] out. You were just off your path a

[1:54:21] little bit,

[1:54:22] right?

[1:54:23] You know, source is always looking the

[1:54:25] other way when you stumble. Never

[1:54:27] looking.

[1:54:28] Never looking at what you think is

[1:54:30] wrong. That's you that do that to

[1:54:32] yourselves and each other. Little child

[1:54:34] is just learning to walk, falls down.

[1:54:36] Get up, you little dummy.

[1:54:38] You don't say that. You acknowledge that

[1:54:40] this is the way he finds his balance.

[1:54:42] And source feels the same way about all

[1:54:45] of you. [clears throat]

[1:54:48] So I can feel good about some of those

[1:54:50] uh I have offic

[1:54:52] you better if you want to be on your

[1:54:53] high-flying disc.

[1:54:55] In other words, you can't look back with

[1:54:57] any condemnation of self without

[1:54:59] disconnecting yourself from source who

[1:55:01] feels good about everything you've

[1:55:02] lived,

[1:55:03] everything,

[1:55:04] everything.

[1:55:06] I've often said that true nobility, it's

[1:55:08] not about being better than anyone else.

[1:55:10] It's it's about being better than you

[1:55:11] used to be. Um, and in every regard, I

[1:55:15] think I am better than

[1:55:15] nobility is overrated because it's what

[1:55:17] people it's it's the consciousness that

[1:55:20] people have. God never uses the term

[1:55:23] nobility.

[1:55:25] Unless it applies to all of us. Well,

[1:55:27] what does noble mean anyway?

[1:55:29] Well, it, you know, it's like we're

[1:55:31] talking now perfection, you know, it's

[1:55:32] like,

[1:55:33] yeah, but there isn't any of that

[1:55:34] because you never get it done.

[1:55:36] Perfection, smacks of endedness, and

[1:55:39] there isn't any of that.

[1:55:42] So, nobility, that's those are some of

[1:55:44] those things that humans use to compare

[1:55:46] themselves with each other while they're

[1:55:48] on lower flying discs.

[1:55:51] this thing inside of us that we call a

[1:55:53] soul. Um can it um can you share a soul

[1:55:57] with another person?

[1:55:59] Well, it's consciousness and it is a

[1:56:01] stream and Esther has felt as she's

[1:56:05] reached for Abraham that we are a

[1:56:08] collective consciousness and she can

[1:56:10] feel some emphasis sometimes that is

[1:56:14] stronger a lot of emphasis in this

[1:56:16] conversation because she can feel what

[1:56:18] you're calling forward.

[1:56:21] Sometimes,

[1:56:23] here's the best way of explaining it.

[1:56:24] When Jerry made his transition now,

[1:56:27] Esther had been hearing from Abraham for

[1:56:30] a long time. She was very comfortable

[1:56:32] with the idea of Abraham, with the

[1:56:34] vibrational relationship with Abraham.

[1:56:36] She'd come to know how we felt. She

[1:56:39] trusts us. She knows the feeling of us.

[1:56:42] She really can feel the fullness of us.

[1:56:44] And when Jerry made his transition, she

[1:56:47] didn't want him to just go be part of

[1:56:49] the Abraham soup. Of course, he is part

[1:56:53] of the Abraham soup, but she wants to

[1:56:55] carve him out in a special way. She's

[1:56:58] always had Abraham. Now, she wants Jerry

[1:57:01] in the way that she's had him. She wants

[1:57:03] him to be interested in the track titles

[1:57:06] for this conversation that we're having.

[1:57:08] She wants him to be interested in this

[1:57:10] piece of furniture that she's buying

[1:57:11] because he always said, "Let's not junk

[1:57:13] it up and she worries a little bit that

[1:57:15] she might be junking it up a little bit

[1:57:17] as she buys one more thing and drags it

[1:57:19] home. And so she's interested in what he

[1:57:21] thinks about all of that. And she can

[1:57:23] feel that because of who she knew him to

[1:57:25] be and who she now knows him to be, she

[1:57:28] can feel the specifics of that which is

[1:57:30] Jerry from non-physical flowing through

[1:57:33] her.

[1:57:33] And how do you know [clears throat] it?

[1:57:34] And the strongest thing the we'll we'll

[1:57:36] answer that in in just a moment. Want to

[1:57:39] stick this in first. The most

[1:57:42] interesting thing to Esther was that she

[1:57:45] had to forget who Jerry was in order to

[1:57:48] find who he now is.

[1:57:51] Because some things that he didn't like

[1:57:54] very much, he's not pushing against

[1:57:56] anymore. Some things that he felt

[1:57:58] strongly about, he doesn't feel strongly

[1:58:01] about. So, she's had to let him train

[1:58:03] her into his new perspective in order to

[1:58:06] really find him. And in doing so, she's

[1:58:09] finding her own inner being in a

[1:58:11] stronger way. It surprised Esther

[1:58:14] because she was just living happily ever

[1:58:15] after. And she was just following a very

[1:58:18] what she considered to be wise man who

[1:58:21] was always loving and always kind and

[1:58:22] always good to everyone. And she just

[1:58:24] sort of let him take the lead and she

[1:58:27] followed in pure bliss. And now she's

[1:58:30] discovering that he wants her to lead

[1:58:36] and then he will revel with her in the

[1:58:39] alignment that she has found.

[1:58:40] Is this done through a feeling?

[1:58:42] Yeah. When Jerry was in his physical

[1:58:44] body as you are and they were having a

[1:58:47] conversation, she would say, "I really

[1:58:49] want to know what you think about this."

[1:58:51] And he would say, "I think it's not that

[1:58:55] so much as you want me to agree with

[1:58:57] what you think." And that was sort of

[1:59:00] kind of true where now she's not

[1:59:03] interested in him agreeing with her. She

[1:59:05] really wants to know what he thinks. She

[1:59:08] wants to train her vibration into that

[1:59:10] pure positive energy. You see,

[1:59:12] does he give you signals when he's

[1:59:14] around? Does does the furniture move? Do

[1:59:16] does things fall off the suitcase or the

[1:59:19] the uh

[1:59:20] the first awareness he had and this this

[1:59:22] will tell you a lot because it speaks to

[1:59:24] the power of desire. sort of what we

[1:59:26] were talking about with your father

[1:59:28] where your desire was so powerful and

[1:59:30] even though you had a big wad of

[1:59:32] resistance going on. Your desire was so

[1:59:34] powerful that it

[1:59:38] was dominant. So you had that wonderful

[1:59:41] forgiving coming back into alignment

[1:59:43] moment. And so what Esther's noticed

[1:59:47] early after he had made his transition,

[1:59:49] she was visiting with her sister and she

[1:59:51] was really having a hard day. And she

[1:59:54] was saying out loud to Jie, "Where is

[1:59:57] he? He said that he would show up. Where

[2:00:00] is he? I want to know where he is. I

[2:00:03] can't find him. Where is he?" And at

[2:00:05] that moment, the Sarah book on the shelf

[2:00:08] right where he had placed it slapped

[2:00:10] itself right down on the counter. And

[2:00:12] there was no question that he had made

[2:00:15] his presence known because the power of

[2:00:17] Esther's desire was so strong. Well,

[2:00:20] that was two years ago. Now he won't

[2:00:21] play that silly game with her.

[2:00:24] In other words, by now she knows that

[2:00:26] she must be in alignment with who she

[2:00:27] is. So if she's there's a light in the

[2:00:29] bedroom that can be seen. The house is

[2:00:32] sort of U-shaped. So, there's a light in

[2:00:35] the bedroom that Esther can see from the

[2:00:36] bedroom, from the living room, looking

[2:00:38] across the porch, across the pool, from

[2:00:40] the office looking across. She can

[2:00:42] nearly see that light on that quartz

[2:00:44] wall from just about every room that

[2:00:46] she's in in the house. And so, when she

[2:00:49] is really feeling good, that light

[2:00:52] blinks in appreciation of her joy.

[2:00:56] But if she ever goes in there all

[2:00:57] feeling sorry for herself and says,

[2:00:59] "Blink the light." You think he's going

[2:01:00] to blink the light?

[2:01:02] He will not come down to a lower disc to

[2:01:05] play with her. She's going to play with

[2:01:07] him. She's got to get up there where she

[2:01:09] belongs.

[2:01:10] When I make my transition, will I be

[2:01:12] able to make uh contact with the people

[2:01:15] I love with?

[2:01:16] Yes. Everyone. Everyone that you care

[2:01:19] about.

[2:01:19] You set an intention before because I've

[2:01:21] been doing that. Well, it's not only

[2:01:23] it's not only the intention that you've

[2:01:26] set before, but you're intricately tied

[2:01:29] with

[2:01:31] just look at your teachings, the books

[2:01:33] that you've written. And so people who

[2:01:35] are reading those books, it's a

[2:01:37] vibrational frequency that you'll tap

[2:01:39] into. And sometimes that makes humans

[2:01:42] feel overwhelmed. For a little while, it

[2:01:44] made Esther feel jealous because she

[2:01:47] mostly had Jerry's undivided attention

[2:01:48] when he was in his physical body. And

[2:01:50] now he'll visit with just anybody.

[2:01:52] [laughter]

[2:01:55] But you come to realize that we are

[2:01:58] multi-dimensional. We are multiaceted.

[2:02:01] We are consciousness. And when you

[2:02:03] focus, we are always there. Always

[2:02:05] there. No exceptions. It's you tuning

[2:02:08] yourself to the recognition of it that

[2:02:10] this wonderful conversation is all

[2:02:13] about.

[2:02:14] We we like the word

[2:02:17] realize because the frequency is always

[2:02:21] there. But for you to realize it, you've

[2:02:24] got to be up to speed with it. And when

[2:02:26] you are, then that clarity that you were

[2:02:28] talking about, that realization happens

[2:02:31] to you.

[2:02:32] Yeah.

[2:02:33] I've often said when you trust in

[2:02:35] yourself,

[2:02:36] you're trusting in the wisdom that

[2:02:38] created you. There's

[2:02:39] How do you do that? this this uh

[2:02:42] you got to feel your way to it, don't

[2:02:43] you?

[2:02:44] Because if if if you learned it from

[2:02:47] your mother, she wasn't all that

[2:02:49] trustworthy,

[2:02:50] right?

[2:02:51] She sometimes was in a really bad mood

[2:02:52] when she told you what to do. And so you

[2:02:57] train yourself into trust. That's why we

[2:03:01] like to say, it's our favorite thing to

[2:03:03] say

[2:03:05] that when you hang around on this

[2:03:06] high-flying disc and you do it on

[2:03:08] purpose and you recognize when you're

[2:03:10] slipping and then you add momentum to

[2:03:12] stay or you recognize that you're off

[2:03:14] and so you slow the momentum because you

[2:03:16] don't want to be. So you get control of

[2:03:18] your own vibration, the first thing that

[2:03:21] happens is your own sense of worth comes

[2:03:24] into place because the entire universe

[2:03:27] is assisting you. You just feel clarity

[2:03:29] and everything works out and it's like a

[2:03:32] concier leading you everywhere that you

[2:03:34] want to go. There are no missteps and if

[2:03:37] they are, you find them funny. Esther

[2:03:39] knew that she had really accomplished

[2:03:42] being on the high-flying disc in a more

[2:03:44] consistent way than she'd ever done

[2:03:45] before. when one day the housekeeper had

[2:03:50] dusted something in her bedroom and the

[2:03:52] extension cord had fallen behind a very

[2:03:54] heavy chest and she couldn't get it out

[2:03:56] easily and she is really laughing as

[2:03:59] she's trying to engineer how to get it

[2:04:02] out and about 60 days earlier she would

[2:04:04] have been swearing about it

[2:04:06] in other words I know she knew that she

[2:04:09] dropped it behind she should have fished

[2:04:10] it out herself would have been the

[2:04:12] conversation and now Esther's just

[2:04:14] delighted in the ingenuity in the

[2:04:17] clarity that she found to fish it out.

[2:04:20] And and what are you going to do anyway?

[2:04:23] What kind of you have more important

[2:04:25] things to do than ex than fish extension

[2:04:27] cords out from under your desk? In other

[2:04:29] words, isn't life really about these

[2:04:32] moments and these moments and these

[2:04:34] moments? People are waiting for their

[2:04:37] dream vacation or their dream

[2:04:38] relationship or their dream car or their

[2:04:41] dream job. And we say it's never going

[2:04:43] to come. It's now now. Now alignment or

[2:04:46] not. Now alignment or not. Now alignment

[2:04:48] or not. Now alignment or not. And when

[2:04:50] you show yourself that you can have now

[2:04:52] alignment. Now alignment. Now alignment.

[2:04:54] Now now you're living the way you

[2:04:56] intended. You see?

[2:04:57] Do you have to almost catch yourself

[2:05:00] when you're having a thought that's a

[2:05:02] misaligned thought uh and and and

[2:05:05] correct it. I mean I it seems to me it's

[2:05:07] it's it's stuck in here in our

[2:05:09] subconscious mind in some way.

[2:05:10] It sort of is. and and you so you get a

[2:05:12] hold of this thought and you realize I

[2:05:14] just had a judgmental thought so I'm not

[2:05:15] going to do that again but for me I have

[2:05:18] to go back and and correct the thought

[2:05:20] and then I have to correct the behavior

[2:05:22] but

[2:05:22] just slow yourself down unnecessarily

[2:05:25] we've written a lot of books with a lot

[2:05:26] of processes and we're just here to tell

[2:05:29] you it's sort of kind of the hard way of

[2:05:30] going about it because when you slumber

[2:05:35] your momentum stops and when you find

[2:05:37] the high-flying disc and increase that

[2:05:39] momentum Now, things are really working

[2:05:42] fast for you. And we're not saying that

[2:05:45] there is not behavior that you might

[2:05:48] want to change. Of course, there is. But

[2:05:50] anytime you find yourself efforting,

[2:05:53] you're beating the wrong end of the

[2:05:55] stick and you're practicing the

[2:05:58] vibration of resistance and you don't

[2:06:00] mean to rather than the vibration of

[2:06:02] allowance. I often for myself have

[2:06:05] thought I don't know I'm changing my

[2:06:06] mind as we're talking here that uh that

[2:06:08] making amends [clears throat] for

[2:06:10] example making amends is is a way of

[2:06:12] reprogramming your subconscious mind.

[2:06:14] Well when when you find alignment with

[2:06:16] source source never forgives anyone

[2:06:19] because source never condemned anybody

[2:06:21] in the first place. Yeah.

[2:06:22] So when you feel the way source feels

[2:06:24] about someone you're in sync with source

[2:06:26] and you call it forgiveness. We call it

[2:06:29] alignment.

[2:06:31] And you get hooked on that feeling

[2:06:33] because it sure feels better to love

[2:06:35] them than to hate them.

[2:06:36] Oh yeah.

[2:06:37] Esther says to us on more than one

[2:06:39] occasion, "Well, Abraham, maybe I need

[2:06:41] to tell you more about that person."

[2:06:45] [laughter]

[2:06:46] Seems to me you're being a little

[2:06:47] unrealistic in your unconditional love

[2:06:49] for them.

[2:06:50] But unconditional love is loving because

[2:06:53] that's what you do. Conditional love is

[2:06:56] change that behavior and then I'll love

[2:06:57] you. And that is such a trap for you and

[2:07:00] for them because now everybody's trying

[2:07:01] to figure out what behavior is the

[2:07:03] appropriate behavior. Nobody feels very

[2:07:05] good. You're mad at each other because

[2:07:07] nobody's really getting it done. And

[2:07:09] meanwhile, source is loving all of you

[2:07:11] and feeling very good about it.

[2:07:16] I I want to ask you about an experience

[2:07:19] um that many of you know. Um about three

[2:07:23] years ago, I was diagnosed with

[2:07:24] leukemia.

[2:07:26] uh and it's uh and I had a series of

[2:07:30] events and so on and there's a there's a

[2:07:32] gentleman on on the planet living in

[2:07:35] Brazil in Aba John. His name is called

[2:07:37] goes by the name John of God in English

[2:07:40] and um

[2:07:42] now who am I to ask you whether entities

[2:07:45] can enter into somebody else's body uh

[2:07:48] by by the results of what you

[2:07:49] experienced.

[2:07:50] Yeah. But I had this most amazing

[2:07:53] experience of uh with John of God

[2:07:57] because like Jesus his vibration of

[2:07:59] well-being was dominant and because your

[2:08:02] expectation didn't prevent it in that

[2:08:06] alignment you experienced that.

[2:08:09] So you know I haven't been back to check

[2:08:12] blood levels or anything like that

[2:08:13] because I just go by how I feel and I

[2:08:15] feel fine. So you know it's a but so

[2:08:18] many things changed in that but the

[2:08:19] thing the major change after having this

[2:08:22] healing experience with this man who is

[2:08:25] treated some 40 million people over the

[2:08:27] last 40 years or so um

[2:08:31] was that um

[2:08:34] after the a week after the experience um

[2:08:37] my children were two of my children were

[2:08:38] with me on Maui and when I walked out of

[2:08:41] the room uh and I looked at the and I

[2:08:44] they just looked totally different to me

[2:08:46] than they ever had before. They just

[2:08:48] looked like pure

[2:08:49] You were looking at them through the

[2:08:50] eyes of source. Yeah.

[2:08:51] Yeah. And I mean I I I was weeping. I

[2:08:54] mean I put my arms around my daughter

[2:08:56] and told her how beautiful she is. I was

[2:08:57] holding my son. I looked at the ocean.

[2:08:59] It looked like a sea of love, you know.

[2:09:02] I looked influenced palm trees

[2:09:03] to alignment. Influenced to alignment.

[2:09:06] Yeah. It was so powerful. I mean and

[2:09:08] what I think I mean my 71st birthday was

[2:09:11] a couple weeks later and I woke up that

[2:09:14] morning. what my birthday I was in San

[2:09:15] Francisco and I was making a film about

[2:09:18] my father about forgiveness and so on

[2:09:20] called My Greatest Teacher and um all I

[2:09:24] wanted to do that day and I never had a

[2:09:26] birthday like this and I've never

[2:09:28] forgotten it. I went downstairs and I

[2:09:30] had a couple of thousand dollars with me

[2:09:31] and I went down I got $50 bills, a

[2:09:34] couple of thousand dollars worth of them

[2:09:36] and I went out to Union Square

[2:09:39] and all I did all day long from 7:00 in

[2:09:42] the morning until about 5:00 in the

[2:09:44] afternoon was just embrace homeless

[2:09:47] people, people, little old ladies who

[2:09:49] were looking for plastic water bottles

[2:09:52] to to take back and and people didn't

[2:09:54] smell very good and people who were I

[2:09:56] mean it was like and the whole and I was

[2:09:59] just in this state of just this state of

[2:10:01] bliss. This it was such a pure love. All

[2:10:03] I want to do was give. I just wanted to

[2:10:05] give. I just wanted to serve. And that

[2:10:07] impacted me so much that um I mean it's

[2:10:10] why I why I wear love on my shirt. It's

[2:10:12] why I am writing about divine love. It's

[2:10:15] why it's why I I'm here speaking to you

[2:10:19] who teaches us about something called

[2:10:22] divine love. And and what a thrill it is

[2:10:23] for me to just be here in your presence.

[2:10:26] Um but it was all and what what it

[2:10:29] seemed to me was happened is like when

[2:10:31] you're told that you have something like

[2:10:33] leukemia. Um there is fear associated

[2:10:36] with it. Um not fear of dying so much

[2:10:39] but just this cancer it's that word

[2:10:42] cancer with the blood and this all and

[2:10:44] there's so much of it in our society. So

[2:10:46] much of it and I have a dear friend her

[2:10:48] name is Anita Murjani who's written a a

[2:10:50] book about her near-death experience

[2:10:52] called Dying to Be Me. Um and and she

[2:10:55] talked about her cancer and how serious

[2:10:57] it was and how she was able to come back

[2:10:59] from it and she said it's just all fear.

[2:11:00] It's just all fear. It felt like the

[2:11:03] entities that came to me through John of

[2:11:06] God came in and took the fear whatever

[2:11:10] that fear was related to that and just

[2:11:13] removed it and replaced it with love.

[2:11:16] We would say it a little differently

[2:11:18] than

[2:11:19] the removal part. No, the emphasis on

[2:11:23] the love part. Yes.

[2:11:25] Mhm.

[2:11:25] So that the vibration of well-being was

[2:11:29] dominant.

[2:11:31] It's an interesting subject because

[2:11:34] everyone who is here in a physical body

[2:11:38] understands that they are going to make

[2:11:39] a transition.

[2:11:42] And yet it's seen by most humans as an

[2:11:45] inappropriate thing to do. So right away

[2:11:50] if some path of least resistance looks

[2:11:53] like it's taken you out then

[2:11:57] you have some determination to make

[2:11:59] about how you feel about being here. In

[2:12:02] other words, we were talking earlier

[2:12:04] about the contrast. You know what you

[2:12:05] don't want. You know what you do want.

[2:12:07] And soon there can be a pretty wide gap

[2:12:09] there. But when you close that gap is a

[2:12:13] really wonderful rush. So, we want to

[2:12:17] put healing in the category of

[2:12:20] everything else that we've been talking

[2:12:22] about and call it alignment. But we also

[2:12:25] want to say that there's an awful lot of

[2:12:29] true alignment that happens in what you

[2:12:32] call the unwanted death experience. You

[2:12:35] see, and so what it comes down to is

[2:12:40] you and your physical body just making a

[2:12:42] statement of what you intend because

[2:12:44] there is a trajectory, but you get to

[2:12:46] decide. As long as you're having fun and

[2:12:48] having meaningful experiences and are

[2:12:51] enjoying the way life is

[2:12:53] juxtapositioning you with other things,

[2:12:55] then there is no reason that you cannot

[2:12:57] continue to sift through the contrast

[2:12:59] and give birth to new intentions. And

[2:13:01] source will support you in all of that

[2:13:03] no matter what. You see, it really is

[2:13:06] your choice. And most when they think of

[2:13:10] some of these illnesses feel that they

[2:13:12] are without choice. That's why you feel

[2:13:14] fear is because fear is the opposite of

[2:13:17] the way source feels about you in that

[2:13:19] situation. You see, fear is just the way

[2:13:22] you feel when you have a different

[2:13:23] opinion than the way source feels. So

[2:13:27] what did John of God do for you? Because

[2:13:30] you, like everyone else, you have access

[2:13:32] to that energy stream. You did not need

[2:13:35] an intermediary to flow stronger energy

[2:13:38] at you.

[2:13:40] But what he did, he caused you to focus

[2:13:43] in a way where you had stronger

[2:13:46] expectation.

[2:13:47] In other words, he soothed the vibration

[2:13:50] of misalignment and allowed the

[2:13:53] vibration of alignment.

[2:13:57] He allowed say that that was so

[2:13:59] beautiful. He said

[2:14:00] you by your attention upon him found a

[2:14:05] way of allowing the energy that was

[2:14:07] there for you all along to be received

[2:14:09] by you. He's not receiving the energy

[2:14:13] and asserting it to you. You don't need

[2:14:15] someone to assert healing energy. You're

[2:14:17] all tapped in. But he helped you in the

[2:14:21] expectation phase.

[2:14:23] He

[2:14:25] by virtue of what you know for him to do

[2:14:28] what you've heard about him doing caused

[2:14:30] your expectation

[2:14:32] to shift so that the fear was not there

[2:14:37] and in the absence of the fear caused by

[2:14:40] your focusing upon him then the healing

[2:14:44] took place

[2:14:45] but it was the healing was such was u

[2:14:48] such a feeling of love such a feeling of

[2:14:51] I mean it's

[2:14:51] alignment clarity Clarity. Use the word

[2:14:54] clarity. That's the best word to

[2:14:56] describe alignment. Clarity. Knowing

[2:15:01] unquestioning.

[2:15:02] Yeah.

[2:15:04] Yeah. It's one of the and I can see

[2:15:06] clearly now.

[2:15:08] Um it's one of the signature moments in

[2:15:12] my life. Um

[2:15:14] well, because it felt like the stakes

[2:15:15] were higher, but the stakes are never

[2:15:18] high. In other words, you can be or do

[2:15:20] or have anything that you want. source

[2:15:23] always has your back. It's just that

[2:15:25] sometimes when the stakes feel higher,

[2:15:28] you align more deliberately.

[2:15:32] But it it it's uh it created in me a

[2:15:35] sense of just wanting to serve to get to

[2:15:38] get my ego out of out of this. Uh

[2:15:40] you can't not serve. When you're tuned

[2:15:42] in, tapped in, turned on, you act like a

[2:15:45] satellite dish. So that in other words,

[2:15:47] it's what we were talking about earlier.

[2:15:49] People are zigging and zagging and

[2:15:50] zigging and zagging. If you're tuned in

[2:15:53] and not and tuned in and not and tuned

[2:15:54] in and not they don't have as much

[2:15:56] opportunity to rendevous with you. But

[2:15:58] when you're consistently there then more

[2:16:00] of them can rendevous with you. You see

[2:16:02] and the most interesting thing about

[2:16:04] that is you cannot serve others unless

[2:16:08] you have served yourself because if

[2:16:11] you're not tuned into that energy you

[2:16:13] don't have anything to give anyone.

[2:16:15] It seems uh Abraham that there's so much

[2:16:19] there's so much cancer and there's so

[2:16:21] much fear. There's so much there's so

[2:16:22] much disease in in our culture

[2:16:25] particularly in America. And there's and

[2:16:27] there's so much fear. And I don't mean

[2:16:29] fear in the sense of being afraid of

[2:16:32] let's just call it momentum for a while.

[2:16:35] Okay? Just think of it as momentum. And

[2:16:37] then just watch what's going on around

[2:16:40] you and notice the momentum, the

[2:16:42] perpetuation of momentum. But also

[2:16:46] acknowledge that in that knowing what

[2:16:48] you don't want, there's also a

[2:16:50] perpetuation of the solution. So even

[2:16:54] though the society is for the most part

[2:16:57] more in sync on the lower discs with the

[2:17:01] problem than they are the solution, the

[2:17:03] solution is in the process of becoming

[2:17:06] and more like you will find alignment

[2:17:08] with it.

[2:17:10] So if if we can get this fear out of our

[2:17:14] what this misalignment out that that you

[2:17:17] think the cancer rates will go down

[2:17:19] for sure. But you you you found a really

[2:17:21] good way of saying that right away. You

[2:17:23] said if we can get the fear out of it

[2:17:24] and then you stopped yourself and said

[2:17:27] the fear is the result of the

[2:17:29] misalignment. And so if we can direct

[2:17:32] our thoughts more upon what we want and

[2:17:35] not so much upon what we don't want. But

[2:17:37] that requires that's going to require

[2:17:40] a lot of people

[2:17:42] being willing to reach for better

[2:17:45] feeling frequencies. And you know what

[2:17:47] we notice about so many of you? Until

[2:17:50] the stakes are really high, most of you

[2:17:52] are willing to put up with the honor

[2:17:54] disc.

[2:17:57] You see, so much that you're living that

[2:18:00] is such a departure from what you really

[2:18:02] want isn't because you're a terrible

[2:18:04] person. It isn't because you've done

[2:18:06] terrible things. It's because you're

[2:18:08] chronically holding yourself away from

[2:18:10] the vibration of alignment that is

[2:18:12] natural to you. And so just a little bit

[2:18:15] of attention to way the way you feel and

[2:18:17] a determination to feel better more of

[2:18:20] the time, it'll take care of that.

[2:18:22] Okay. So there's a big big big issue out

[2:18:26] there for me.

[2:18:27] So do you want to activate it and add

[2:18:28] momentum to it and

[2:18:31] practice the vibration practice the

[2:18:33] vibration of it?

[2:18:35] So it seems [laughter]

[2:18:37] Do you do you do you do you leave me

[2:18:38] alone? Hey,

[2:18:39] be nice Steve Jobs. [laughter]

[2:18:44] So, it seems to me that the cycle of

[2:18:48] life is one in which whether it's in the

[2:18:51] animal kingdom or whether it's in the

[2:18:53] vegetable kingdom, whether it's in the

[2:18:55] human kingdom or even the mineral

[2:18:57] kingdom that um the way it works is that

[2:19:01] this generation's seed provides life to

[2:19:05] the next generation seed to the next

[2:19:07] generation and the next. And it's like

[2:19:08] the seed from this plant gives life to

[2:19:12] the next plant gives life and so on. And

[2:19:14] it's the same.

[2:19:14] We love you so much. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[2:19:16] Yeah. Yeah.

[2:19:16] Okay. And in humans as well. But what

[2:19:20] has happened this has been just

[2:19:22] alarmingly uh uh drastic shifts uh in

[2:19:26] the last generation or two. uh the

[2:19:29] number of children uh born uh into

[2:19:32] autism for example has gone from 1 in

[2:19:35] 10,000 to one in a 100 in because like

[2:19:37] you are coming forth to demand their

[2:19:42] freedom to be so they're saying I'm

[2:19:45] going to be so different you are not

[2:19:46] going to pound this round peg into a

[2:19:50] square hole

[2:19:51] okay the number the the the [applause]

[2:19:54] beautiful the amount of uh the amount of

[2:19:57] obesity has increased increased in our

[2:19:59] culture like just dramatically. Not I

[2:20:01] don't think for me it's because we've

[2:20:03] become a nation of glutton.

[2:20:04] What has happened and I want to ask this

[2:20:06] question of Abraham of you is that uh

[2:20:11] we've gotten into this where we're

[2:20:12] starting to genetically modify foods.

[2:20:15] Well, you're looking for love in all the

[2:20:16] wrong places. You're looking for food

[2:20:17] that tastes good rather than that feels

[2:20:19] good. You're not letting it guide you

[2:20:21] from your perspective of alignment.

[2:20:23] You're just looking for a way to fill

[2:20:25] the void. Don't you notice that when you

[2:20:27] are at your honorest or your most

[2:20:28] dysfunctional that you're looking for

[2:20:30] something to eat?

[2:20:32] But what we what what has happened is

[2:20:34] that we've modified we've genetically

[2:20:36] modified these foods so that the next

[2:20:38] generation of uh the seed for the next

[2:20:40] generation doesn't come from the wheat

[2:20:42] or it doesn't come from the corn. It

[2:20:44] comes from Monsanto. It comes from these

[2:20:46] big companies that uh have patents on

[2:20:49] our food and we can't even put it in the

[2:20:51] ground without getting permission from

[2:20:53] big companies.

[2:20:54] We don't disagree with you. What if what

[2:20:56] if those like you who are now aware of

[2:20:59] that

[2:20:59] are launching some rockets of desire.

[2:21:02] And what if instead of having the

[2:21:04] conversation of what's wrong with the

[2:21:05] food, you're having conversations about

[2:21:07] what you want the results to be?

[2:21:10] What if you become a light for the

[2:21:12] vibration of well-being? What if you

[2:21:14] with source at your back with the

[2:21:16] leverage that creates worlds? What if

[2:21:18] you shine a spotlight on that? What if

[2:21:20] that is the dominant vibration? In the

[2:21:23] same way that when you were at that

[2:21:25] grave site that day and source was

[2:21:27] flowing through you and even though you

[2:21:30] were you had gone there to do something

[2:21:31] else to that grave that you ended up not

[2:21:33] doing

[2:21:34] right

[2:21:34] but because the vibration of source was

[2:21:37] dominant, why not be the human form that

[2:21:41] focuses on the solution rather than the

[2:21:43] problem? And that's that is the only

[2:21:45] thing that has gone a little haywire

[2:21:48] with humans. You spend too much time in

[2:21:51] step one talking about what you don't

[2:21:54] want in your instead of articulating

[2:21:57] what you do want. So your frequencies

[2:21:59] are more about what you don't want.

[2:22:00] Don't we don't we have to be aware of

[2:22:02] what we don't want. I mean I don't want

[2:22:04] to have my family eating genetically

[2:22:06] modified food.

[2:22:07] But listen just in this conversation to

[2:22:09] the amount of time you've spent on that

[2:22:11] subject as compared to the what you

[2:22:13] could be doing about it. And there's one

[2:22:18] about when you think about it. When you

[2:22:19] think about how they're not track

[2:22:22] trucking in any food from other planets

[2:22:24] that the seeds the seeds are all here.

[2:22:29] Wouldn't it be nice if

[2:22:32] in the

[2:22:36] modification

[2:22:38] of food, engineered food, there was a

[2:22:42] discovery of something that would be

[2:22:43] beneficial. And are you willing to

[2:22:45] accept that some of that has taken

[2:22:47] place? Some of that has taken place, but

[2:22:51] you personally prevent yourself from

[2:22:54] experiencing the benefit of any of that

[2:22:56] because you're pushing so hard. And

[2:22:58] really what it comes down to, and

[2:23:00] everyone is doing it to a certain

[2:23:02] extent, it's that,

[2:23:04] we were talking about it earlier, the

[2:23:08] difference between living in a world

[2:23:11] where you're on lower flying discs and

[2:23:14] you're just sort of duking it out with

[2:23:16] each other, deciding which pile is the

[2:23:18] worst pile and which pile is a little

[2:23:20] bit better pile, and no one really being

[2:23:22] in tune with source. You're just all

[2:23:24] talking about which pile is worse than

[2:23:26] which pile. As compared to someone who

[2:23:29] sets all of that aside, who has the

[2:23:32] benefit of the desire that's born from

[2:23:34] that, who now turns to your vortex, gets

[2:23:38] distracted from all of the issues that

[2:23:41] prevent you from resonance with

[2:23:43] well-being, and finds something like a

[2:23:46] little baby to resonate with. And for

[2:23:49] the time that you're looking at that

[2:23:50] baby, you are in sync with all of the

[2:23:53] good things that you put into the

[2:23:54] vortex. The the misunderstanding that

[2:23:57] humans have is that they have to find

[2:23:59] the problem and then they have to

[2:24:00] wrestle it to the ground and kill it.

[2:24:03] And we want you to understand that there

[2:24:04] is no bottom to that. In other words,

[2:24:06] you you're adding a vibrational momentum

[2:24:11] and you can't win in that way.

[2:24:13] Meanwhile, those who aren't paying any

[2:24:15] attention to that will find a better

[2:24:17] way. It's always the way. Masses just

[2:24:20] gnarl around with each other and fuss

[2:24:23] and fight and fume while a Steve Jobs or

[2:24:27] a Bill Gates finds a solution that

[2:24:30] revolutionizes

[2:24:32] the technology world. Everybody had the

[2:24:35] ability to do it. They just had to focus

[2:24:38] upon what they wanted instead of get

[2:24:41] bogged down in the muck and mire of what

[2:24:43] is.

[2:24:45] You said it. You have to believe it

[2:24:49] before you see it.

[2:24:51] It's a good book title. You said

[2:24:52] it's the best. It's the best book title

[2:24:55] ever. Best book title ever. It says

[2:24:58] everything. You have to find a way of

[2:25:00] believing what you want because if you

[2:25:02] don't believe what you want, what you

[2:25:03] want cannot come. Well, what I have done

[2:25:06] is um

[2:25:09] connected with the people at public

[2:25:10] television where I've done many specials

[2:25:13] um and agreed to uh begin to inform uh

[2:25:18] the entire planet beginning with America

[2:25:21] and Canada uh about um

[2:25:25] we think that's wonderful. We just ask

[2:25:26] one thing. Get on your high-flying disc

[2:25:28] and then tell them what you know.

[2:25:31] Well, the high-flying disc, [applause]

[2:25:33] the high-flying disc is that um

[2:25:36] get the vibration of source going with

[2:25:38] you. Talk about what can be, not about

[2:25:41] what can't be. Talk about where you're

[2:25:42] going, not about where you are. Talk

[2:25:44] about what's possible, not about the

[2:25:46] mess you're in. Get on the high-flying

[2:25:48] disc and let source speak the words

[2:25:50] through you. You do it all the time.

[2:25:52] Just not when you talk about that

[2:25:54] because that pisses me off so much. this

[2:25:56] uh

[2:25:59] and and I know that being in that state

[2:26:01] of of being upset is uh you know I've

[2:26:04] never really quite thought of it that

[2:26:05] way but uh

[2:26:06] well mo movie makers have discovered

[2:26:08] that more people go to the Henry movies

[2:26:11] the dysfunctional movies than the

[2:26:13] high-flying disc movies. So if their

[2:26:15] goal is numbers and ratings then they

[2:26:17] make a movie that appeals to where most

[2:26:19] people are. That's not who you are.

[2:26:22] You got to make a movie that appeals to

[2:26:24] God.

[2:26:27] [applause]

[2:26:32] [laughter]

[2:26:36] We we pulled out all the stops for that

[2:26:39] one.

[2:26:40] It just just I mean just for a second

[2:26:42] can't you acknowledge that it's uh

[2:26:45] [cheering]

[2:26:46] you know that company's owning

[2:26:49] that law of attraction is broken.

[2:26:51] Pardon?

[2:26:52] You want us to acknowledge that law of

[2:26:53] attraction is broken when it isn't?

[2:26:55] We'll acknowledge that there's a

[2:26:56] momentum going and we'll acknowledge

[2:26:58] that the rage of the world and the more

[2:26:59] people that are focused on it is adding

[2:27:01] to that momentum. And we will also

[2:27:03] acknowledge that if enough know what

[2:27:05] they don't want that more will know what

[2:27:06] they do want and there will be a tipping

[2:27:08] point. We just don't think you should

[2:27:10] suffer so long before the tipping point.

[2:27:13] Well, I think what you just said will

[2:27:15] help the tipping point uh where we can

[2:27:18] get and indeed begin to focus on how we

[2:27:20] want our food supply to be, how healthy

[2:27:23] we want our children to be. Oh, when was

[2:27:24] the last time that you devoured some

[2:27:27] ripe piece of fruit right off the tree?

[2:27:30] Did you have to tell yourself? Did you

[2:27:32] have to read the label?

[2:27:34] Oh, this tastes so good. I wonder how

[2:27:37] they did that.

[2:27:40] Doesn't everything about you let you

[2:27:41] know the perfection of it.

[2:27:44] I live on Maui and and and all of the uh

[2:27:47] all of the fruits there are, you know,

[2:27:48] they don't even have seeds in them

[2:27:50] anymore. You know, the papayas have all

[2:27:52] been genetically modified. So, you open

[2:27:54] it up and you used to think, I'll take

[2:27:55] these seeds and I'll put it in the

[2:27:56] ground and I'll grow some papayas.

[2:27:58] You're not allowed to do that anymore.

[2:27:59] You have to go to Monsanto to do that.

[2:28:01] And you eat this piece of uh

[2:28:03] Oh, we have so much more to say to you.

[2:28:06] [laughter]

[2:28:08] I don't want to open a watermelon that

[2:28:10] doesn't have any seeds in it because

[2:28:11] it's been genetically modified. I don't

[2:28:13] want to eat

[2:28:13] all Have all of them been genetically

[2:28:15] modified?

[2:28:16] 99% on Maui have. Yeah. I mean, uh

[2:28:20] then pick the one that hasn't.

[2:28:22] Yeah.

[2:28:24] [cheering and applause] and revel in it

[2:28:26] and say this feels best to me. This is

[2:28:29] what I support. This is what I promote.

[2:28:32] Because when you push against what you

[2:28:34] don't want, you practice that vibration.

[2:28:36] And then law of attraction brings

[2:28:39] Monsantos to give you what you're asking

[2:28:41] for.

[2:28:46] [laughter]

[2:28:48] [cheering]

[2:28:48] It's not fair when this might this

[2:28:50] something this is something that really

[2:28:51] really uh

[2:28:54] well if we were talking about things you

[2:28:56] don't care about you wouldn't have

[2:28:57] launched these rockets of desire. If you

[2:29:00] were talking about something that you

[2:29:01] don't care about you wouldn't have just

[2:29:03] enlisted the non-physical energy that

[2:29:06] creates worlds to support you. In other

[2:29:08] words, this conversation has left this

[2:29:11] in a place that it never has been

[2:29:12] before. The universe has expanded as a

[2:29:15] result of this conversation.

[2:29:17] You cannot find a solution if you don't

[2:29:20] poke around a little bit at the problem.

[2:29:21] Just don't get carried away in the

[2:29:23] poking around at the problem. Because

[2:29:25] you cannot find a solution while you

[2:29:26] poke at the problem. The blaming, no

[2:29:28] matter how right you are, does not lead

[2:29:31] you to the solution. You see, and have

[2:29:33] you ever had an argument with someone?

[2:29:34] You know you're right. You tell them

[2:29:36] what you think, and don't they just come

[2:29:37] on stronger and stronger and stronger

[2:29:39] and stronger? It's like you pour

[2:29:41] gasoline on their fire.

[2:29:44] It's kind of like what's happening in in

[2:29:46] in the political arena today in

[2:29:50] with with two sides just so determined

[2:29:53] that u their side of of this thing is is

[2:29:56] correct that there's not even any

[2:29:58] possibility of compromise.

[2:29:59] Well, they've stopped thinking

[2:30:02] [laughter]

[2:30:03] and they cannot be feeling.

[2:30:06] But it's not all lost because the

[2:30:10] electorate is

[2:30:13] feeling a desire for a functioning

[2:30:16] government,

[2:30:17] right?

[2:30:17] And you're in charge. But if you watch

[2:30:22] what they're doing and you let them lead

[2:30:24] you, then you don't find your power and

[2:30:26] it doesn't happen. In other words,

[2:30:30] one day we were talking with a woman on

[2:30:31] the telephone years ago when Esther was

[2:30:33] still doing consultations and she wasn't

[2:30:36] having any of this. She was annoyed with

[2:30:38] us.

[2:30:40] And so we realized that we were not

[2:30:43] making any headway with her. And we

[2:30:44] said, "Let's play a game. We would like

[2:30:47] you to find three subjects and let's

[2:30:50] just focus on them together." She said,

[2:30:52] "Why?" And we said, 'Because we want to

[2:30:54] distract you from the resistant thoughts

[2:30:56] that you've got going on. Why? Because

[2:30:59] in the absence of resistance, many

[2:31:01] things you want will begin flowing to

[2:31:02] you. Well, like what we said, like blue

[2:31:07] glass. Have you ever contemplated how

[2:31:09] many beautiful different textures and

[2:31:11] colors of blue glass there are? No, I

[2:31:13] haven't really, and I'm not really

[2:31:14] interested in that.

[2:31:16] Have you ever thought about butterflies?

[2:31:18] the variety of them, the longevity of

[2:31:21] them, the persistence of them, the

[2:31:23] beauty of them. I don't really care

[2:31:25] about butterflies either. Have you ever

[2:31:28] thought about feathers? Feathers are

[2:31:30] everywhere. They are all around. All

[2:31:33] different kinds of feathers,

[2:31:36] benefiting all kinds of creatures.

[2:31:39] She hung up annoyed with us.

[2:31:42] And Jerry and Esther were in California.

[2:31:44] They were in La Hoya. And so they went

[2:31:47] down to George's to have lunch. Jerry

[2:31:49] had not heard the conversation. Esther

[2:31:52] was not really remembering it. They went

[2:31:54] down. They were walking down the main

[2:31:56] street in La Hoya

[2:31:59] past the Laval Valencia Hotel. And

[2:32:02] Esther had such an urge to go inside

[2:32:06] this shop that she dragged Jerry in

[2:32:08] kicking and screaming. He did not want

[2:32:09] to go, but Esther was strong about it.

[2:32:12] And he followed her in. And on the back

[2:32:14] wall was the most amazing display of

[2:32:18] blue glass that either of them had ever

[2:32:20] seen. Now, they didn't want blue glass.

[2:32:22] They didn't care about blue glass, but

[2:32:23] nevertheless, there was blue glass. So,

[2:32:27] they left. They didn't buy anything.

[2:32:28] They went to Georgia's and had lunch.

[2:32:30] And then they walked down to the cove,

[2:32:34] which in their opinion is the most

[2:32:36] beautiful place where the land meets the

[2:32:38] sea. They love that place. So, they're

[2:32:41] walking across this grassy area on their

[2:32:44] way to the rocks and a flurry of

[2:32:48] butterflies so intense they had to stop

[2:32:50] talking in order not to eat them

[2:32:53] surrounded them really.

[2:32:55] And Esther still did not make any

[2:32:57] association. And then a little Asian boy

[2:33:00] who looked like he was about three or

[2:33:01] four years old came running from across

[2:33:04] the grass looking at Esther

[2:33:07] holding something in his hand. And when

[2:33:08] he got to her, he handed her a feather.

[2:33:12] And in that moment, it all came back to

[2:33:13] Esther. And she realized that in less

[2:33:15] than two hours, the universe had

[2:33:17] orchestrated a very clear, very clever

[2:33:21] path of least resistance to satisfy all

[2:33:24] three subjects that had been offered in

[2:33:26] no resistance.

[2:33:29] So it is our encouragement that you

[2:33:31] choose some things that you don't have a

[2:33:34] big wad of resistance. Not a cause, not

[2:33:37] a mission, not a life's purpose, not

[2:33:39] something that you're all wadded up

[2:33:40] about. Just pick something easy and just

[2:33:44] ponder it lightly in the morning when

[2:33:45] you wake up and watch how clever the

[2:33:49] universe is at helping you rendevous

[2:33:52] with it. And if you do this enough, you

[2:33:54] will come to know that there is no

[2:33:57] influence that you cannot provide. That

[2:34:00] there is nothing outside your range.

[2:34:02] Because when you tune to your true

[2:34:04] desire, meaning source is with you in

[2:34:07] that desire, in the absence of

[2:34:09] resistance, all things are possible and

[2:34:12] all manner of things take place. People

[2:34:15] are standing around. They can't believe

[2:34:18] what are these politicians doing.

[2:34:20] They're actually talking to each other.

[2:34:21] We've not seen them talking to each

[2:34:23] other. They're actually beginning to

[2:34:24] seem reasonable. They're actually

[2:34:27] beginning to work together.

[2:34:29] Wouldn't it be nice if a body of

[2:34:31] brilliant people like those brilliant

[2:34:34] people with degrees and purpose?

[2:34:38] Wouldn't it be a lovely thing if they

[2:34:40] could come together and listen with

[2:34:42] reason and tune into the source within

[2:34:45] them and not care whose idea it is, but

[2:34:48] just revel in the perfection of the

[2:34:50] idea.

[2:34:51] This is a world that is possible for you

[2:34:53] and it only takes a handful of you to

[2:34:55] focus in that way. You see, but as long

[2:34:58] as you're beating the drum of what's

[2:35:00] wrong with the politicians, you add

[2:35:02] momentum to that and you defeat your own

[2:35:04] purpose and you distract yourself from

[2:35:07] the true trajectory that is you and you

[2:35:09] feel bad in the process and you blame

[2:35:11] them for how you feel.

[2:35:15] You're powerful creators. You see,

[2:35:18] you're not facers of reality. You're

[2:35:21] creators of reality.

[2:35:24] So even in the things that just seem

[2:35:25] most outrageous and most evil and most

[2:35:29] um we have

[2:35:30] the more outrageous they are the

[2:35:31] stronger the desire and the more sources

[2:35:34] on it.

[2:35:34] Yeah. So you just stay with uh seeing it

[2:35:38] from as a you know just launching

[2:35:40] get there instantly. We understand you

[2:35:42] can't get there instantly, but you got

[2:35:43] to care enough about how you feel that

[2:35:45] you start practicing yourself into the

[2:35:47] vicinity until your sense of worthiness

[2:35:50] really descends consistently upon you

[2:35:52] and you're willing to then take on the

[2:35:55] big subjects, the big solutions.

[2:35:57] And anger doesn't motivate you to that.

[2:35:59] And frustration and

[2:36:02] motivation is a whole different thing

[2:36:04] than inspiration.

[2:36:05] I know

[2:36:06] motivation is just unpleasant.

[2:36:09] Inspiration always feels good. It's a

[2:36:12] first step. We don't deny that. Just

[2:36:15] don't stay so long in that first step.

[2:36:17] Makes you tired and grouchy and cynical

[2:36:20] and then you become a politician.

[2:36:23] [laughter]

[2:36:26] We have enjoyed this interaction more

[2:36:28] than words can ever explain.

[2:36:30] As have I.

[2:36:31] It is delicious. It is delicious

[2:36:33] [applause]

[2:36:34] to take thought beyond.

[2:36:40] There's [applause] great luck here for

[2:36:42] you.

[2:36:43] Thank you.

[2:36:43] And for you.

[2:36:45] You are

Frequently Asked Questions

In this Hay House conversation, the central claim is that the universe hears how you feel rather than what you say. The speakers argue that reciting affirmations after a hard day does not undo the emotional momentum the day created. Feeling tone, not wording, is treated as the signal that matters.
Abraham, speaking through Esther Hicks, describes blocks of thought as ideas left circulating on what it calls the physical trail. Inspiration can come from them even when a person is in a bad mood. Inspiration from source energy, by contrast, comes from a higher, more consistent frequency.
The video states that the law of attraction's momentum is not active while you are unconscious. Because you spend about eight hours asleep, the thoughts and feelings you carry into bed shape where you are when you wake. That is why the talk recommends ending the day on a steadier emotional note.
Wayne Dyer relays a passage attributed to Patanjali in which inspiration by a great purpose breaks the bonds of thought and expands consciousness. The passage says dormant forces, faculties, and talents come alive, so a person discovers themselves to be greater than they had dreamt. The idea is that inspiration awakens capacities already present.
The video suggests making the negative thought more general and stepping back from it if you can. Replaying a specific grievance keeps your frequency fixed on the problem, while generalizing it loosens that grip. The method works without requiring any particular belief system.
In the conversation, Abraham describes itself as a collective consciousness and a vibration that all people have access to. Esther Hicks is presented as the one whose focus allows her to hear this consciousness more pointedly, and Abraham says it offers blocks of thought that she then puts into physical words.
