Dreaming Between Worlds: The Psychopomp's Path to the Departed

The Shift Network
The Shift Network

Robert Moss, the bestselling author who created the practice he calls Active Dreaming, argues that the most useful preparation for death may be the one most of us perform every night without noticing. In a Shift Network livestream titled "The Psychopomp's Path Between Worlds," Moss makes the case that dreams are not merely private theater but a form of evidence: firsthand glimpses of consciousness operating beyond the physical body. That evidence, he suggests, can help the living reconnect with people who have died, receive guidance, heal unfinished relationships, and loosen the fear that gathers around dying. The session borrows its vocabulary from Greek philosophy and shamanic practice, introduces the figure of the psychopomp or guide of souls, and closes with an invitation to investigate these claims in your own sleep. What follows explains the core ideas in that session, why they hold together, and how a reader might begin to test them.

The session opens, as Moss tells it, with a scene from his own adolescence. He was fourteen, lying in the drifting half-world between sleep and waking, when the room seemed to fill with presence. A young man appeared to him, radiant rather than solid, speaking English but using Greek words. Moss recounts the message plainly: the knowledge that matters would come to him through anamnesis. At fourteen he had to look the word up. It means remembering, but in the school of Plato and his successors, Moss explained, it carries a sharper meaning, soul-remembering: recalling what the soul already knows about its purpose before it entered this life.

Who Is the Psychopomp, and Why Does a Dreamer Need One?

The word psychopomp literally means a conductor of souls. Moss describes the figure as "the guide and friend of souls," and he is careful to widen the job description beyond the deathbed. The term is most often associated with guiding people through death, dying, and the afterlife, he said, but "it really applies to helping people find their soul's path in any world they are on." In his framing, the work also reaches back before birth. He named the territory explicitly as "what goes on before and after death and I would say before and after conception."

That breadth matters for how the practice works. A psychopomp in this sense is not a specialist in endings. It is someone who knows the terrain between states of being and can walk others through it. Moss's own visitation was, in his telling, less a rescue than an orientation: a reminder of what his life was about, that it is "about connecting to a life story beyond one life" and "about connecting to consciousness beyond the physical world." (Shift Network livestream, 17:31)

Why Start With Dreams Instead of Doctrine?

The answer Moss gives is practical. A belief in survival is something most people inherit or reject. A personal experience of consciousness outside the body is something you either have or do not. Dreams, he argues, are where that experience is most accessible. "In dreams we step outside the ordinary world," he said, and on waking we may understand that "in dreaming we may travel beyond the body and the brain." (Shift Network livestream, 20:50)

From there, Moss draws a line that will matter for anyone reading about his work for the first time. Dreaming might be "our first personal evidence" that soul or consciousness is not confined to the body and therefore survives physical death. The claim is not that a dream proves an afterlife in a laboratory sense. It is that the dreamer can gather firsthand material, reviewed over time, that points in that direction. The dream is the starting point of an investigation rather than its conclusion.

Moss also widens the category of entry points. He includes sleep dreams, certain kinds of meditation, and hypnagogia, the threshold state "between sleep and awake" where "interesting encounters take place." He includes shamanic journeying as well, and here he offers a specific technique: using a personal dream or image as the portal for a journey, "with or without drumming and other acoustic effects." Personal dreams, he says, "show you what it's timely to explore," which makes them better guides than generic imagery borrowed from a book.

What Do Shamanic Traditions Say About Soul Loss?

Moss situates the psychopomp within a wider lineage. In his account, guiding souls is "the core practice" of the shaman, whatever name the role carries in a given culture. He offers a striking qualification: a true shaman is recognized by having "gone beyond death" and returned. Moss pointed to a Tibetan term for such a person, one who died and came back, as an example of how widely this idea appears.

The traditions he describes treat the soul as both precious and vulnerable. There is an immortal spirit, Moss notes, that cannot be lost, though one can lose one's connection to it. But soul in a broader sense includes vital energy, elements of identity, and aspects of personality that can wander off. This is the condition called soul loss. "If you're going through a hard time, you're suffering grief, you're suffering trauma," he explained, "part of you goes away, the world seems too cold and cruel, part of you won't stay around." (Shift Network livestream, 23:00)

This is where the psychopomp becomes useful in ordinary life, not only at the end of it. A person carrying grief or trauma may need someone who can help locate and call back the parts that have withdrawn. Moss's model suggests that the same skill set used to accompany the dead can be used to help the living come home to themselves.

Why Does Direct Experience Matter More Than Belief?

Throughout the session, Moss returns to a principle he treats almost as a mantra. He wants people to stop outsourcing their understanding of the afterlife to authority. "We need direct experience," he insists, rather than inherited doctrines alone. That emphasis explains why his approach is built around exercises, journeys and dream work rather than around a fixed cosmology. (Shift Network livestream, 26:08)

There is an honest tension here. Moss is describing experiences that many people will find hard to verify, and he does not pretend otherwise. What he offers instead is a discipline: keep records, notice patterns, compare what comes through with what can be checked in ordinary life. The standard he sets is firsthand, not dogmatic, and it asks the dreamer to remain both open and skeptical.

How Can You Test This in Your Own Sleep?

The livestream announces a guided experience called the Dream Post Office, described in the event materials as a conscious dream journey designed to help participants discover whether lost dreams, forgotten messages, or unexpected connections may be waiting for them. The framing is deliberately open. It does not promise that a deceased relative will appear. It asks whether something meaningful may be waiting to be received, and it lets the participant judge the result.

For readers who want to start before any structured course, the logic of Moss's argument suggests a simple sequence. Keep a dream journal and write down dreams immediately on waking, especially any dream in which a person who has died seems unusually present or clear. Note whether the dream contains information you could not have known, or a message that later makes sense. Treat the dream as a question rather than an answer. Moss's own emphasis on dreams as "portals" that show "what it's timely to explore" implies that the most important material often arrives as a prompt to look further, not a finished verdict.

The host, Stephen D., framed the session as the opening of a larger body of work. He noted that Moss has taught close to fifty courses for the network and that a new eighteen-module training on the psychopomp is planned as "a capstone to a whole lot of other work that he's been offering over the years." (Shift Network livestream, 57:13) Moss himself describes the intended effect of this practice in modest but ambitious terms: exploring the mystery of death through dreaming, he suggests, can help people become "more courageous, loving, and fully alive right now." That line, from the event description, may be the most useful summary of the whole project. The aim is not to master the afterlife. It is to live with less fear while you are still here.

Where to go from here

If the ideas in this session interest you, begin with the smallest experiment available. Start a dream journal this week, record one dream each morning, and mark any encounter that feels like contact rather than fantasy. Read Moss's own writing on Active Dreaming to see how he distinguishes ordinary dreams from the more significant kind, and watch the full livestream if you want the Dream Post Office journey in his voice. The question he leaves open is one worth sitting with: what might your sleeping mind already know about the people you have lost, and about the part of yourself that may still be waiting to come home?

[15:12] >> Well, greetings everyone and welcome to

[15:14] a truly special online event today. It's

[15:16] called the psychop's path between

[15:18] worlds. How active dreaming can help you

[15:20] communicate with the departed, explore

[15:22] the afterlife and support healing across

[15:24] the veil. My name is Stephen D. I'm the

[15:27] founder and CEO of the Shift Network.

[15:28] And one of the things this that really

[15:30] thrills me most is to explore new

[15:32] frontiers. And the person that we're

[15:34] going to get to learn from today is one

[15:37] of the best explorers I know. He's

[15:39] taught close to 50 courses now for

[15:41] Shift. He's been at the forefront of

[15:43] active dreaming, conscious dreaming,

[15:45] creative

[15:47] approaches to dreaming, and he's a

[15:49] best-selling author. He's really quite

[15:51] an extraordinary explorer of the human

[15:53] psyche and soul and all the higher

[15:56] potentials that we have. And we're going

[15:59] to dive into learning about the psychop

[16:01] today. And if you get sparked by today,

[16:04] we're going to have a brand new 18

[16:06] module training with Robert on this.

[16:09] It's really kind of a capstone to a

[16:10] whole lot of other work that he's been

[16:12] offering over the years and I think

[16:14] you're going to be really delighted to

[16:15] hear about it and probably participate.

[16:17] So with that said, Robert, thanks so

[16:19] much for coming back for uh round number

[16:21] 49 or 50 or wherever we are.

[16:23] >> Great to be with you again, Stephen. As

[16:25] always, to be dreaming with you and the

[16:27] Shift Network. Thank you for inviting me

[16:29] back.

[16:30] >> Yes. Well, I often, as you know, start

[16:32] these with a little bit of exploration

[16:34] of the p of the faculty's backstory and

[16:37] but I think with you, we've heard some

[16:38] of the broad contours, but maybe it

[16:40] would be interesting to hear a little

[16:42] bit about your relationship with this

[16:44] archetype of the psychop. How did you

[16:46] develop a sense of connection to that

[16:49] and that role over your many decades now

[16:52] of dreamwork? When you ask that

[16:54] question, Stephen, my mind goes back to

[16:56] a night in my early teens. I think I was

[16:59] 14 years old, and I had a visitation.

[17:02] There's a sense of radiance of presence

[17:04] in the room. I'm in that drifty liinal

[17:06] space between sleep and awake where

[17:08] interesting things can happen. And

[17:10] there's a beautiful young man. That's

[17:12] the way he looks. I mean, he's not

[17:13] solid. He's a radiant being. He's come

[17:15] from the eastern edge of the

[17:17] Mediterranean.

[17:18] And he talks to me in English but using

[17:21] difficult words typically Greek words. I

[17:23] know he's helenic. And he says to me,

[17:26] Robert, the things that matter, the

[17:29] knowledge that matters will come to you

[17:31] through anomnesis. Now, that's a big

[17:33] word. I mean, I'm a kid. It's in the

[17:35] dictionary. It's used in psychology, but

[17:37] I didn't know it. I had to look it up.

[17:39] It means remembering. And I learned

[17:41] later that in the school of Plato and

[17:43] his successors, it means soul

[17:46] remembering. remembering what the soul

[17:48] knows, remembering what you you knew on

[17:50] the level of mind or spirit before you

[17:52] came here and making a connection with

[17:54] the soul's purpose. So this is an

[17:57] example of a psychop. He came to me in

[17:59] the role of a psychop which means a

[18:01] guide of souls. He came to help me

[18:04] remember in that very unformed stage of

[18:07] my life what it's all about. It's about

[18:09] connecting to a life story beyond one

[18:12] life. It's about connecting to

[18:13] consciousness beyond the physical world.

[18:16] So I think probably he may not have used

[18:18] the word psychop. I don't think he did.

[18:20] But I'm already getting rather Greek in

[18:22] my thinking because of this visitation

[18:24] and the talk of anonyis or soul

[18:27] remembering. For me the psychop is the

[18:29] guide and friend of souls. The word is

[18:32] used especially in relation to one who

[18:34] can guide people in relation to death,

[18:36] dying, and the afterlife. But it doesn't

[18:38] just apply to that. It really applies to

[18:41] helping people find their soul's path in

[18:43] any world they are on. And it

[18:45] specifically applies to helping people

[18:48] deal with what goes on before and after

[18:51] death and I would say before and after

[18:54] conception.

[18:55] >> And so why is working with the dream

[18:57] state such an important training for

[19:00] becoming a psychop?

[19:02] >> Well, because in dreams we step outside

[19:04] the ordinary world. We step beyond the

[19:06] physical. We actually understand when we

[19:09] wake up to what's going on in dreaming

[19:11] that in dreaming we may travel beyond

[19:13] the body and the brain. So dreaming

[19:15] might be our personal personal evidence

[19:17] maybe our first personal evidence and

[19:20] understanding that soul or consciousness

[19:23] is not confined to the body and will

[19:25] therefore survive physical death. That's

[19:27] a very important thing to know for

[19:29] yourself to recognize for yourself that

[19:31] there is life beyond the body and to

[19:33] know to realize that you can establish

[19:35] that with real firsthand evidence

[19:38] through experience. And the easiest

[19:40] experience, the easiest way to enter the

[19:42] kind of altered state of consciousness

[19:44] that makes this available to you is

[19:46] through dreaming. And when I say

[19:48] dreaming, I do mean sleep dreams. Sleep

[19:50] dreams. Sleep dreams. We might wake up

[19:52] to a deeper reality. But I also mean

[19:55] meditation. A certain kind of

[19:56] meditation. I also mean hypnogogia. That

[20:00] state between sleep and awake when

[20:01] you're not alltogether asleep, not

[20:03] alltogether awake and interesting

[20:05] encounters take place and interesting

[20:07] events become possible. And I'm also

[20:09] talking of course about shamanic

[20:11] journeying for which I find the most

[20:13] useful portals are your personal dreams

[20:16] and images. They show you what it's

[20:18] timely to explore and you can use a

[20:20] personal dream or image to make a

[20:22] shamanic journey with or without

[20:24] drumming and and other acoustic effects

[20:26] uh with great value and great results.

[20:30] I'd love to hear a little bit about the

[20:31] role of the the psychop role for

[20:34] traditional medicine men, shaman uh

[20:37] shamans, people who are kind of working

[20:38] as healers in the tribes and sort of how

[20:41] you know a little bit about the history

[20:42] of the role too.

[20:44] >> This is I mean this is the core

[20:46] practice. This is the central practice

[20:48] of of the shaman by whatever name the

[20:50] shaman is called in different cultures.

[20:52] The shaman is a a a practitioner of

[20:56] soul, a guide to souls on both sides of

[20:58] death and is qualified if it's a true

[21:01] shaman by the fact that he or she has

[21:03] gone beyond death themselves and

[21:05] returned. So I would say that of all the

[21:07] definitions of a shaman that are

[21:09] discussed, one of the most important is

[21:11] that this is a person who has gone

[21:13] beyond death and come back in the

[21:15] Tibetan language there's a word for such

[21:17] a person dug. It means one who died and

[21:20] came back. Uh so

[21:23] and the understanding in cultures that

[21:25] value the role of the kind of caregiver

[21:27] and kurandero that we call a shaman. Uh

[21:30] the understanding is that soul is

[21:32] precious and soul is vulnerable. Yes,

[21:35] there's an immortal spirit that that you

[21:37] cannot lose. You can lose your

[21:38] connection with it but you can't lose

[21:40] that. But soul in a more general sense

[21:42] might apply to vital energy, elements of

[21:45] identity, elements of personality that

[21:48] might wander beyond you and might

[21:50] actually leave you in the view of

[21:52] shamanic traditions. If you're going

[21:54] through a hard time, you're suffering

[21:55] grief, you're suffering trauma, part of

[21:57] you goes away, the world seems too cold

[21:59] and cruel, part of you won't stay

[22:01] around. This is called soul loss. And

[22:03] our friend Sandra Ingamman of course has

[22:05] written the book, literally written the

[22:07] book on this and guided a lot of people

[22:09] to learn how to look for lost soul and

[22:11] bring it back. It can happen in very

[22:14] serious ways. Somebody died. You're in

[22:16] grief. Part of you travels with them

[22:18] into their land of the dead and lives

[22:20] with them there and perhaps won't come

[22:23] back unless somebody intervenes to help

[22:25] you to help you come back. The number

[22:27] one symptom of serious soul loss,

[22:29] interestingly, is you've lost your

[22:31] dreams. You've lost your connection with

[22:33] your dreams. This is regarded as a

[22:35] terrible thing in many indigenous

[22:37] traditions because if you're not in

[22:39] touch with your dreams, you're not in

[22:40] touch with the easiest way of talking to

[22:43] the spirit world, receiving guidance

[22:45] from spirit helpers and a greater self.

[22:48] It's probably because you've lost the

[22:50] part of you that is the dreamer, that

[22:51] beautiful bright person who went away

[22:54] when the world seemed so rough and you

[22:56] need to get it back. And here is where

[22:58] the shaman, the shamanic dreamer, a

[23:00] psychop comes in. They could help you

[23:02] bring it back. They can do it for you as

[23:04] a practitioner. But what I like to do is

[23:06] to help people become the shamans of

[23:08] their own souls and the healers of their

[23:10] own lives by learning supported by an

[23:13] active community that cares and is

[23:16] compassionate. Learning simple

[23:18] techniques that they can do for

[23:19] themselves to bring back those parts of

[23:22] energy and identity that need to be back

[23:24] in the body. And I've seen soul

[23:27] recovery, we can call it soul retrieval

[23:28] if you like, accomplished again and

[23:31] again and again through dream

[23:33] operations. For example, by learning to

[23:35] go back in a dreamlike way to a scene in

[23:38] your earlier life and support the

[23:40] younger self who found the world so cold

[23:42] and cruel. Be mentor to her in her own

[23:45] life and embrace her and in that process

[23:48] bring together parts of you that belong

[23:50] together in your body today.

[23:53] [clears throat]

[23:53] >> That's truly fascinating. So when you

[23:54] when you really activate this archetypal

[23:56] potential, the psychop potential, then

[23:58] you can do that for the different

[24:01] disperate parts of yourself to

[24:02] reassemble them and help kind of

[24:04] [snorts] bring them in. That's really

[24:05] fascinating.

[24:06] >> This is what it's all about. I mean, Mr.

[24:08] Jung had wonderful words for these

[24:09] things. He talked about individuation

[24:11] and so on. Jung, by the way, was a was a

[24:13] shaman of the West. You want to know

[24:14] what a real western shaman is like? A

[24:16] real western shaman is a scholar, a

[24:18] scientist at the top of their game and

[24:20] constantly inventing new models for the

[24:22] practice and checking that they work. So

[24:25] to to bring ourselves together is the

[24:27] heart of healing, isn't it? It is it is

[24:29] the heart of wholeness. So this is part

[24:31] of the role of the psychop too. If we're

[24:33] talking about a guide of souls, one of

[24:35] the things a guide of souls should be

[24:36] able to do for themselves and also for

[24:38] others is to help identify and bring

[24:41] together the fractured uh aspects of the

[24:44] self and bring their gifts and their

[24:46] power into the body for life as well as

[24:49] to be prepared to face life beyond life.

[24:52] H you had mentioned the Tibetan

[24:53] tradition uh earlier and made me think a

[24:56] little bit about how is psychop training

[24:59] and and being able to sort of actualize

[25:01] this. How is that helpful in the next

[25:04] incarnational cycle? Are you sort of

[25:05] like building a capacity that helps

[25:07] endure beyond one lifetime?

[25:10] Well, you know what we're going to

[25:12] encounter in terms of the cycles, the

[25:14] wheels of life, reincarnation, all of

[25:16] that is going to be greatly conditioned

[25:18] by our belief system, by the culture we

[25:21] belong to or give our commitment to and

[25:23] andor by our personal experience. If

[25:25] you're a Tibetan Buddhist, you are

[25:27] trained to expect a certain progression,

[25:29] a certain sequence of bardos, and

[25:31] there'll be different tests and there

[25:33] things you're supposed to recognize. If

[25:34] you miss that flash of light, then

[25:36] you're in a different kind of bo and you

[25:38] have to deal with benign and wrothful

[25:40] deities and and so it goes on. If you're

[25:42] a Tibetan Buddhist and I respect the

[25:44] tradition greatly and by the way,

[25:46] dreaming is hugely important and

[25:48] visualization are hugely important in

[25:50] Tibetan Buddhist tradition. So is

[25:52] operating in the liinal state between

[25:54] sleep and awake. So is seeking

[25:56] continuity of consciousness in which you

[25:58] are aware and mindful whatever state of

[26:01] reality you're in. All of this is great,

[26:03] but what I want to help people do is

[26:06] gain direct experience of these things.

[26:08] I mean, my mantra for all of this is a

[26:11] western mantra comes from the French

[26:13] essayist Monten who said, "We do not

[26:16] know where death is waiting for us. So,

[26:19] let us be ready to meet death

[26:21] everywhere."

[26:22] >> And what would that mean? It means you

[26:24] find the the way of direct experience of

[26:27] these things. And this is where dreaming

[26:28] is central. I'll say it again. In

[26:31] interesting dreams, you may find that

[26:33] you are traveling beyond the body. You

[26:35] may find that you are visiting worlds,

[26:38] whether dead or alive. And in that way,

[26:40] not only getting together with

[26:41] interesting people, whether they're

[26:43] departed loved ones or wise ancestors,

[26:46] but preparing perhaps for the lifestyle

[26:49] that you will have beyond this world and

[26:51] beginning to learn about transitions,

[26:53] places of re-education, places of life

[26:56] review, maybe even learning through

[26:58] direct experience, how you might

[27:00] progress beyond this world to a point of

[27:02] decision. Informed choice based on the

[27:04] understanding of many life experiences.

[27:07] informed choice about what you do next.

[27:09] But these things are too important, I

[27:12] say again and again, to receive them

[27:14] secondhand as handme-down thoughts or

[27:17] doctrines. We need direct experience.

[27:20] That's what I'm here to facilitate. I'm

[27:23] here to help you understand that you can

[27:25] learn for yourself about the conditions

[27:27] that you might experience beyond death.

[27:29] And in doing that, you bring resources,

[27:32] courage, clarity, and maybe even a sense

[27:34] of divine comedy to the ups and downs of

[27:37] everyday life.

[27:40] >> So, how do you know when when that

[27:42] you're actually being visited in a dream

[27:44] state by departed loved ones, like real

[27:46] departed loved ones who are are offering

[27:48] this bridging versus just something more

[27:50] symbolic? Well,

[27:52] >> you're probably knowing the truth of

[27:53] your feelings. I mean we we have to

[27:56] accept uh deep deep deep in our

[27:59] emotions. We are probably going to know

[28:01] there are things ways we can test and

[28:03] verify. We might be given information we

[28:05] don't otherwise know about. Example, my

[28:08] dad turned up after his death in

[28:10] Australia a long time ago now and he

[28:12] said he was very agitated. He said tell

[28:14] mom tell my mother who'd never been

[28:16] interested in talking about dreams to

[28:18] contact Rodriguez she needs to sort out

[28:20] her living situation. I didn't have a

[28:23] clue who Rodriguez was. I called my

[28:26] mother in Surfers Paradise, Australia. I

[28:28] was in the United States and I said,

[28:30] "Mom, dad came through in a dream."

[28:33] Okay. Yeah. She was willing to listen.

[28:35] He said, "Contact Rodriguez. Do you

[28:37] know?" "Oh, Ron Rodriguez." "Well, who's

[28:38] he?" "Oh, he deals with real estate.

[28:40] He's a realtor."

[28:42] and she contacts him and Ron Rodriguez

[28:45] got her moved into the right sheltered

[28:47] protected living environment for the

[28:49] last last years of her life where she

[28:51] was very happy. I have no doubt that was

[28:54] my father. Now you could say, well, it's

[28:56] a guide of a different kind putting on

[28:58] the mask of your father. Yes, you could

[29:00] say that. But there were many, many,

[29:02] many other dreams involving my father.

[29:04] He became a real guide to me and to

[29:07] other family members, but especially

[29:08] through me to family members because

[29:11] that's how it often operates in a

[29:13] family. There might be only one or two

[29:15] people who are able to receive and

[29:16] perceive. So they become the channels,

[29:19] the mediums, the interlocutors for the

[29:21] whole family. So I've given you two

[29:23] reasons for two two ways of achieving

[29:26] discernment about whether you're dealing

[29:28] with the departed or simply a symbolic

[29:30] figure, a fantasy, an aspect of

[29:32] yourself. One is the truth of your

[29:34] feelings. Never underrate that. And the

[29:36] second is your ability to check it out

[29:38] to test and verify the information that

[29:41] is coming through.

[29:44] >> That's a great answer. Thank you. I want

[29:46] to ask a little bit more about this

[29:47] function where I know I've I've talked

[29:50] with people who have started to develop

[29:52] this psychop kind of facility um which

[29:55] you're going to be training people more

[29:56] how to do and that they're actually able

[29:58] to help souls that are kind of confused

[30:00] post death. maybe share a little bit

[30:02] about that role to kind of help them

[30:04] navigate the afterlife and why that's

[30:06] really valuable.

[30:07] >> There is a huge need for people who are

[30:10] alive today and are willing to talk to

[30:12] the dead who are confused about their

[30:15] situation. There are a lot of people in

[30:16] Western societies who don't actually

[30:19] know that they're dead in the sense that

[30:21] they don't have physical bodies anymore.

[30:23] From a certain point of view, they are

[30:24] correct. They're not dead. They're

[30:25] alive. They're alive in consciousness.

[30:27] But because they have not had

[30:28] preparation for a situation which they

[30:31] still feel pleasure and pain. They can

[30:33] still hang about the old places. They

[30:35] can sit down on the sofa and watch TV

[30:37] and have a snack with their survivors.

[30:39] They may not be aware that they are

[30:41] dead. So we need people who can gently

[30:44] communicate with departed on that level

[30:47] and guide them as to their circumstances

[30:49] and do it effectively. People stay

[30:51] around because they're addicted. They

[30:53] stay around because they've got

[30:54] unfinished business. They stay around

[30:56] because they want to get even with

[30:58] someone. There's bad blood. Once again,

[31:01] we need living people who are capable of

[31:03] communicating. And it's not that

[31:05] difficult to do once you open your inner

[31:07] senses and realize that they're probably

[31:10] appearing to you in dreams or at the

[31:12] edge of dreams any night of the week.

[31:14] Anyway, why are the living cast in a

[31:18] role here? because they the people who

[31:20] are in that state of confusion or don't

[31:22] understand their the their situation uh

[31:25] trust us more than they trust anything

[31:27] on the other side which might seem

[31:29] ghostly and blurry to them. They might

[31:31] still be stuck in the heavy energy body

[31:33] and in the west we don't teach people

[31:35] very well about the nature of the

[31:38] several energy vehicles of consciousness

[31:40] that we operate in in life and that

[31:43] survive physical death. So we don't

[31:44] understand the dead we are dealing with

[31:47] might be held back by the fact that they

[31:49] have not dropped a heavy energy vehicle

[31:51] that they're meant to drop after

[31:53] physical death. So again we need lots of

[31:56] people who in a colloquial humane and

[31:58] compassionate way can help the dead to

[32:01] recognize their situation can help them

[32:04] to call on the guides and the guidance

[32:06] that is waiting for them. One of the

[32:08] most important things that we the living

[32:10] can do for the so-called dead is to call

[32:13] on their behalf. Help them to call on

[32:15] their own behalf for the guides they've

[32:18] not been seeing or listening to.

[32:21] >> So connecting with the guides then kind

[32:23] of creates a team that can help them

[32:24] make that transition earlier. Are there

[32:26] other other things that are helpful in

[32:28] terms of like really creating that that

[32:31] completion with the living that sort of

[32:33] closure that allows moving things along?

[32:36] Well, sometimes forgi forgiveness is

[32:38] required. I mean, this is often the

[32:40] case, for example, with someone who

[32:42] shortened their own life through suicide

[32:44] and and realizes after after they've

[32:47] died that that was a mistake because it

[32:49] hasn't solved anything. Life goes on and

[32:51] now you're really assailed by guilt and

[32:53] grief and and self-loathing and you you

[32:56] might even be so confused you try to

[32:58] draw living survivors with you. So

[33:01] particularly in a case like that,

[33:03] forgiveness is the great healer and it's

[33:05] something that the living can offer to

[33:06] the dead. And sometimes the living of

[33:08] course need forgiveness from the

[33:10] departed, but things ended before they

[33:12] were resolved. And one of the great

[33:15] things to discover in this way of of of

[33:18] experiencing things is that healing and

[33:20] forgiveness are always available even

[33:22] across the apparent barrier of death.

[33:24] And here when we revert to the theme of

[33:27] the psychop is where we need to remember

[33:29] that the psychop might have four legs

[33:32] rather than two. Let me just throw out

[33:34] something that is very sweet and very

[33:36] important and very practical and is also

[33:39] part of this course. Sometimes people

[33:42] are better served in the first stages of

[33:44] understanding what happens after death

[33:47] by their connection with their

[33:48] four-legged friends and by their

[33:50] connection with their two-legged

[33:51] relatives. The dog, the cat, the horse

[33:55] that shared your life might turn out to

[33:58] be a true friend and guide soul for you.

[34:01] I mean, when a beloved black dog that

[34:03] that I love was killed on the road many

[34:05] years ago, he stayed around for a year.

[34:07] I mean, we could sense him. We could

[34:09] even see him. We thought his almost a

[34:11] physical presence. After I did a a

[34:14] ceremony of of of releasing him and

[34:16] letting him go, he turned up in my

[34:18] dreams again and again and again and

[34:20] again. And although today I don't think

[34:22] it's the individual spirit of the black

[34:24] dog, I do feel that when the black dog

[34:27] turns up in my dreams, there is a guide

[34:30] of souls in a form I can always receive

[34:33] saying to me, be alert, pay attention,

[34:35] and uh and and sometimes showing me

[34:38] specific things like how to get

[34:40] somewhere in waking life, how to deal

[34:42] with an issue that I would not otherwise

[34:44] know about. In one of the collective

[34:46] journeys I led to an afterlife welcoming

[34:49] sort of situation like what are you

[34:51] going to find when you first enter the

[34:52] afterlife? Uh a woman who loved her but

[34:55] her parted dog and had contacted him

[34:57] with my encouragement found herself

[35:00] entering a dog park on the other side

[35:02] where dogs free of leashes were running

[35:04] around delighted and welcoming people

[35:07] that they recognized and maybe even

[35:09] people had not been their owners and

[35:11] playing the role of friend of souls

[35:13] psychopump. the psychop with four legs.

[35:15] There's a reason why the dog is often

[35:17] cast in that role in ancient mythology

[35:19] and folklore. And of course, there's a

[35:21] role for cats as well. How could there

[35:23] not be?

[35:26] >> Love your stories. It's really

[35:27] fascinating. Well, I I know that uh we

[35:29] want to also give people a little bit of

[35:31] taste of how to connect with the

[35:34] departed souls and build this psychop

[35:37] capacity. So, uh I think now would be a

[35:39] great time to give a little

[35:40] demonstration and and experiential for

[35:42] folks.

[35:43] I'm very interested because so many of

[35:45] us in modern culture are going through a

[35:47] dream drought. I mean don't have the

[35:49] flow of spontaneous images that I think

[35:52] is so valuable and essential to direct

[35:55] experience of these things. I'm always

[35:57] interested in the my ability and our

[36:01] ability to go to a place where the

[36:03] dreams or message we have lost can be

[36:05] found. Now let's make the theme contact

[36:08] with the departed. Contact with the

[36:09] departed is actually natural,

[36:13] commonplace, and ought to be easy,

[36:15] especially in dreams, because either the

[36:17] departed is still around. That might be

[36:19] okay for a while, by the way. They're

[36:20] still around because they love us. They

[36:22] think we're clueless. They want to give

[36:23] us guidance. They're not ready to move

[36:25] on yet. Okay, for a while, but then

[36:27] separation will be required. They come

[36:29] calling. They come calling for all the

[36:31] reasons we call on each other. And then

[36:33] some. They come as family advocates, as

[36:36] family angels sometimes. And because we

[36:38] go visiting the departed in our dreams,

[36:41] as I mentioned, we travel perhaps quite

[36:43] much more often than even the most

[36:45] prolific dreamer recognizes to places

[36:47] whether dead or alive. But okay, you're

[36:49] missing all that. You're not aware of

[36:51] it. Where where's mom? Where's grandma?

[36:53] Why aren't I dreaming? Well, suppose

[36:55] there were a place you could go where

[36:58] you could pick up messages from the

[37:00] loved ones or from wise ancestors you'd

[37:04] like to be in contact with. Suppose

[37:05] there were such a place. I want to

[37:07] suggest to you right now that there are

[37:10] such places and I want to invite you to

[37:12] come with me to a place that is real in

[37:17] the true realm of the imagination and

[37:19] the imaginal realm where others have

[37:20] gone and accomplished astonishing

[37:22] things. So I'd like you to get your body

[37:26] in a comfy relaxed position. I'd like to

[37:29] say on behalf of all of us, we are

[37:31] seeking contact

[37:34] with our departed loved ones and

[37:36] ancestors in the cause of love and

[37:38] light. We ask for blessing and

[37:40] protection for our encounter.

[37:44] And I'd like you to invite you to call

[37:46] up the memory of an old-fashioned post

[37:48] office. Well, it doesn't have to be all

[37:49] that old-fashioned, just that not many

[37:51] of us go to post offices anymore. I'd

[37:54] like you to call up perhaps from your

[37:56] life a place you can picture, a place

[37:59] you remember that is a post office or

[38:01] something like one that you can

[38:03] visualize right now. And I'd like you to

[38:06] imagine with a little bit of drumming to

[38:09] speed and focus the journey. You're

[38:12] going to go to your version of the post

[38:13] office. We're going to put a graphic up

[38:15] on the screen, but I don't want you to

[38:17] be controlled by the graphic, just

[38:19] encouraged by it. You're going to be

[38:21] going to a post office and you're going

[38:23] to step inside. You're going to go up to

[38:25] the counter and there'll be a clerk.

[38:28] There'll be someone at the counter who

[38:30] and you're going to ask for any messages

[38:32] that are waiting for you. And the

[38:34] messages are likely to be from someone

[38:36] or from several people on the other side

[38:39] of death. Might be letters. They might

[38:41] be packages. So, this is the first thing

[38:44] that's going to happen. You might be

[38:47] reminded

[38:48] while you're in the post office that you

[38:51] actually have a post box. You might find

[38:53] yourself going to that place in the post

[38:56] office where there are the post boxes

[38:58] and opening your box. Yes, you've got a

[39:01] key if you need one or maybe the box

[39:02] just opens for you. And when the post

[39:05] box opens, this might go to a different

[39:07] depth. It might be that there is more

[39:09] waiting for you inside the post box,

[39:12] including even an uplose and personal

[39:15] encounter with someone from the other

[39:17] side who's been trying to contact you

[39:20] and is going to seize this opportunity

[39:23] to have a loving, friendly, helpful

[39:26] exchange with you. So, those are your

[39:29] instructions for the journey to the

[39:30] dream post office. I think we're going

[39:32] to put a graphic up on the screen if we

[39:34] have it.

[39:35] >> And we're going to have five minutes of

[39:37] drumming. You're getting your body in a

[39:39] nice comfy relaxed position. I'd like

[39:42] you to take a few breaths. As you

[39:44] exhale, let go of anything that might be

[39:46] holding you back. Any worry, any

[39:49] tension, any distraction, just let it

[39:51] go. Yes, there are things you might deal

[39:53] need to deal with. Put them outside the

[39:56] space for now. As you breathe in, you're

[39:58] breathing in a lovely sense of

[40:00] expansion, adventure, possibility. Hey,

[40:03] you're going to a place where you can

[40:05] pick up messages that you failed to

[40:08] collect. Messages from your departed

[40:10] loved ones, messages perhaps from wise

[40:13] ancestors and teachers. You might even

[40:15] have a face-to-face encounter. Now,

[40:18] we're going to have five minutes of

[40:19] drumming. You're going to visit

[40:22] the Dream Post Office and pick up some

[40:25] interesting messages. Here we go.

[48:28] >> Right. So, you're coming gently back to

[48:31] your body, wherever you parked it. What

[48:33] are you bringing? Memories, letters,

[48:36] packages,

[48:37] feelings, something in your heart,

[48:40] something in your gut. What are you

[48:42] bringing back? Perhaps there is the

[48:44] start here of a conversation you could

[48:46] have if you felt yourself in contact

[48:49] with a person on the other side. You

[48:52] could continue this sitting down in a

[48:54] quiet corner of your place. Put out a

[48:56] cup of tea or a glass of wine, a momento

[48:58] of that person and see if you can pursue

[49:01] a full conversation starting it any way

[49:04] that you like.

[49:09] >> Thank you.

[49:14] Yes,

[49:15] >> I had a number of letters I picked up,

[49:16] Stephen. And I also have to write a

[49:20] death poem. It's actually a Japanese

[49:22] term means farewell to life. One of the

[49:25] ji it was a Japanese art. It still is to

[49:28] write something maybe just the length of

[49:30] the haiku as you're on your way to

[49:32] checking out

[49:34] >> and I need to write a new one. It's only

[49:36] a few syllables, but it's important to

[49:38] get it right and have it ready.

[49:41] Yeah, I was getting kind of a

[49:42] combination of just images of, you know,

[49:45] the blocks that build a pyramid and

[49:47] really the message that the groundwork

[49:50] that we're laying with shift is really

[49:52] more generational. It's like shifting

[49:54] civilization is a slow process and to

[49:57] sort of just keep putting bricks in

[49:59] place and not be as attached to how it

[50:02] plays out in the short term, if you

[50:03] will.

[50:05] >> We have different life callings,

[50:06] Stephen. Some go there and are happy to

[50:08] receive a small envelope

[50:11] postmarked in Britain in 1920. That was

[50:14] one of my letters or look look that way.

[50:16] Some have to have the makings of a

[50:18] pyramid. [laughter]

[50:21] >> Well, I think for me it's like the

[50:22] message is a lot around patience.

[50:24] Sometimes I get I I get nervous about

[50:27] where we are as a species and try to

[50:29] like push things faster, but you know,

[50:31] the evolution is a slow is a often a

[50:34] slow business. It takes a while for

[50:35] souls to really evolve and heal and

[50:37] grow.

[50:38] >> Yes. And and we go backwards as well as

[50:41] forwards. Unfortunately, still

[50:43] >> there's a cadre that are, you know,

[50:45] trying to bring things forward and

[50:46] you're part of them. Thank you for doing

[50:48] that.

[50:49] >> Yeah. What do you recommend? So once you

[50:52] receive some messages from the this uh

[50:54] you know dream post office like what do

[50:56] you how do you enact those work with

[50:58] them over time? action is required and

[51:00] the action will depend upon exactly who

[51:02] you're dealing with and what their

[51:03] circumstances are. I mean, a a further

[51:06] conversation or a real conversation

[51:08] because it might just have been a

[51:10] glimpse or an envelope you haven't

[51:12] opened. I have envelopes to open. I

[51:13] mean, I picked up a number of envelopes.

[51:15] Uh I don't know exactly who one of them

[51:18] is from. I know who the others are from.

[51:20] I need to read my mail. I brought my

[51:23] letters out, but I haven't read them in

[51:25] full. I met someone in the post box that

[51:28] I do know. Uh he's not a family member,

[51:31] but he is certainly a wise guided soul

[51:34] in my life. And I realize I need to

[51:36] renew and continue my relationship with

[51:38] him. I'll have some research to do. My

[51:40] my my dreams and dreamlike episodes

[51:43] typically maybe because I'm a bookish

[51:44] fellow certainly exercises in research.

[51:47] Uh may maybe it's maybe it's maybe it's

[51:51] action to continue [clears throat] or

[51:54] complete the healing and forgiveness

[51:56] between yourself and someone on the

[51:58] other side that is still incomplete.

[51:59] Maybe that's what it's about.

[52:02] >> Well, it's really inspiring just hearing

[52:04] how much can happen for you having

[52:06] practiced this this these kind of

[52:07] techniques for so long just in a short

[52:09] journey like that. So it really becomes

[52:11] evident like how much the multiverse is

[52:14] available when we really open these

[52:16] pathways and it might be useful you know

[52:18] going beyond just talking about the

[52:19] psychop role just the more general field

[52:22] of like how really working with your

[52:23] dreams can open up all these different

[52:25] dimensions of the multiverse and share

[52:28] some of what um you've explored and

[52:29] opened I know you've taught this in a

[52:31] lot of different courses but for people

[52:32] who are newer it'd be great to get a

[52:34] little bit more of the sense of the

[52:35] landscape. Well, when people talk about

[52:38] dreams in our society, they struggle

[52:40] because either they think of it as a

[52:41] sleep experience that might be just

[52:43] random neural firing in the brain or the

[52:46] effect of dinner last night. Uh or they

[52:49] think of dream in the advertising

[52:51] company's way. You know, the the dream

[52:52] of your car, the dream of your house,

[52:55] the dream of your toaster.

[52:57] But but dreaming is really about waking

[53:00] up. In ancient Egypt where they did a

[53:02] lot of dreaming, we get a lot of

[53:04] Egyptian dreamers in my workshops. The

[53:06] word we transliterate as RSWT

[53:10] which means dream ancient Egyptian. It

[53:13] also means an awakening and it's written

[53:15] in the hier in the hieroglyphs with a

[53:17] with a grammatical determinative it's

[53:19] called at the end of the word which

[53:20] looks like an open eye. So there in the

[53:23] language of ancient Egypt is the

[53:25] understanding that to dream might be to

[53:26] wake up. What does that mean? That means

[53:29] to wake up to an order of events, to a

[53:31] logic of events, to a reality beyond the

[53:34] ordinary one. And this is in fact the

[53:36] understanding of every indigenous

[53:39] culture that I know anything about and

[53:41] many ancient ones as well. That the

[53:42] dream world is a real world. That dreams

[53:46] are not just symbolic texts to be

[53:48] analyzed, although you can certainly

[53:50] approach dreams that way and do useful

[53:52] things. Dreams might be events in the

[53:54] life of consciousness, events in the

[53:56] life of the soul. You meet someone, you

[53:58] go somewhere, you receive a visitation

[54:01] and this is for real and it's

[54:02] transpersonal. Yes, you could say it's

[54:04] all a part of you because we're all

[54:06] connected. But wait a minute, that is

[54:08] grandma. That is my father telling me to

[54:10] send my mother to the realtor. That is

[54:13] some form of my favorite dead professor

[54:16] asking me the right question in the way

[54:18] that a teacher will do to get me through

[54:20] a difficult stage in my understanding of

[54:23] what my work is about. Yes, that is my

[54:25] dead professor or at least a guide

[54:27] wearing his face. It's more than a part

[54:29] of me that has been buried. So to

[54:32] understand that dreaming is for real,

[54:33] that the dream world is for real, the

[54:35] dreaming might be traveling, traveling

[54:37] by the soul or by consciousness. This is

[54:40] the beginning of wisdom. Of course,

[54:41] dreams cover a whole spectrum of

[54:44] possibility. There are movie making

[54:46] dreams and I love these. I had a crazy

[54:49] dream one night and I decided I'd go

[54:52] back inside the dream. the technique I

[54:54] teach. You've dreamed something. Don't

[54:55] let it stop there. Don't waste all your

[54:57] time. Exhaust yourself analyzing. See if

[55:00] you can travel back through the image of

[55:02] the dream like a doorway and do

[55:04] something more. So, I go back into the

[55:07] crazy dream and I find it was made for

[55:09] me. It's a dream movie. Well, who's made

[55:12] it? I'm out on the set and it's all

[55:14] crazy stuff, but really fascinating. And

[55:16] the studio is called Disney Walt

[55:18] Studios. Not Walt Disney Studios, but

[55:21] Disney Walt Studios. And I have further

[55:23] direct evidence from my own dreaming

[55:26] that we have maybe all of us have

[55:28] personal movie making companies that

[55:31] make dreams that we're going to see in

[55:34] the night. Why? Sometimes to entertain

[55:36] us, sometimes to shock us into waking up

[55:39] and seeing our actions and behavior from

[55:42] outside ourselves. And it's a great gift

[55:44] when you can do that. So that's one of

[55:46] the functions of dreaming. Another

[55:48] function of dreaming is it shows you

[55:50] what lies ahead. We see the possible

[55:52] future. We don't just see things that

[55:54] will happen. We do, but we see things

[55:56] that may or may not happen according to

[55:58] whether we can clarify the information

[56:00] and take appropriate action. I wouldn't

[56:02] be talking to you here if I hadn't

[56:04] escaped probable death on the road three

[56:07] times. By paying attention to dreams

[56:09] that rehearsed me for those accidents on

[56:12] the road, and by clarifying the

[56:14] information, I was able to avoid those

[56:16] dates with my possible death on those

[56:18] three occasions. That's heavy stuff. But

[56:21] sometimes it's light and bright.

[56:22] Sometimes you see in your dreams

[56:24] something you would greatly love to

[56:26] manifest. You found Mr. Wright or Ms.

[56:30] Wright, but it's going to require a few

[56:32] steps to get to them. So you need again

[56:35] to clarify the dream, apply the

[56:36] information, and make it part of your

[56:39] travel plan in life. So these are some

[56:41] things waiting for you. And one of the

[56:43] crulest things we're doing to each

[56:45] ourselves in our culture is we're not

[56:47] making room for this tremendous source

[56:51] of guidance, narrative, entertainment,

[56:55] uh, and wisdom.

[56:58] >> You are, it's such a revelation to talk

[57:00] to you. I mean, it really just opens up

[57:01] so many fields of possibility. It's it's

[57:03] exciting. And so, Robert, let's talk

[57:06] take some time now to talk about your

[57:07] upcoming training. I know you're super

[57:09] excited to offer this because it really

[57:10] is a kind of a capstone to a lot of uh

[57:13] work that you've offered over the years.

[57:16] So, we're delighted that Robert's agreed

[57:18] to teach this brand new in-depth

[57:19] training. It's called the psychop

[57:21] training. Guiding souls and approaching

[57:23] death dying in the afterlife with

[57:25] courage and grace through active

[57:26] dreaming. You can find it at the URL

[57:28] psychoptraining.com.

[57:30] psychoptraining.com.

[57:32] It's 18 modules long, so very in-depth.

[57:35] And it's going to be a powerful group

[57:37] that goes through this. And Robert,

[57:39] would I'd love for you to share some of

[57:40] your intentions for what people come

[57:42] away with from the 18 module journey

[57:44] with you.

[57:46] First of all, I'd like everybody to wake

[57:49] up to the fact that

[57:51] you're in the afterlife right now. You

[57:54] died to another world in order to come

[57:56] here. When you die to this world, you'll

[57:59] be born in another world. And once you

[58:01] realize that, wake up to that as a fact

[58:04] of life through your direct experience,

[58:07] I think you might be able to have a

[58:09] clearer perspective on things and bring

[58:12] in what I like to call that sense of

[58:14] divine comedy. So, the psychop training

[58:17] starts with drilling you or rehearsing

[58:20] you again in core techniques like some

[58:23] of the ones we've been discussing. Core

[58:25] techniques of what? of active dreaming,

[58:27] which is my original synthesis of

[58:29] shamanism and dreamwork. Core techniques

[58:32] like learning to walk and talk your

[58:35] dreams, like learning that you can go

[58:37] back inside a dream and use it as a

[58:39] portal for an adventure in the

[58:41] multiverse. You can get more

[58:43] information. You can carry on a dream.

[58:45] You can you can overcome nightmare

[58:47] terrors. You can carry on a wonderful

[58:50] party, a wonderful tropical romance, all

[58:52] through the dream re-entry technique.

[58:54] So, we're going to we're going to be

[58:56] practicing some essential core

[58:58] techniques. And of course, let's

[58:59] remember dreaming is not just about what

[59:01] you do with your eyes closed. It's also

[59:03] about what you do with your eyes open

[59:06] and all your senses are quiver when you

[59:08] begin to wake up to the power of

[59:09] synchronicity and the way that signs are

[59:12] popping up around you in ordinary life.

[59:14] So, that is part of the dreaming. One of

[59:16] the great central themes of the course

[59:18] is of course our ability to communicate

[59:20] with the departed. As I said, this is

[59:24] relatively easy. It's certainly a

[59:26] natural thing, especially in dreams

[59:28] because my dead are still around. They

[59:31] often are still around. Might be okay

[59:32] for a while. We might need to help them

[59:34] separate and cast off lovingly. They

[59:37] come calling. We travel to their realm

[59:39] in our dreams. So, we're going to

[59:41] explore 13 of the reasons why our dead

[59:44] come calling and how we need to deal

[59:45] with each of the situation that comes up

[59:48] and can play friend of soul or psychop

[59:50] when required. We're going to explore

[59:52] and grow our relations with the other

[59:54] world. We're going to practice certain

[59:58] travel itineraries, making a crossing by

[1:00:01] water, as is favored in so many of the

[1:00:03] mythologies and shamanic traditions,

[1:00:06] flying off to another world, finding

[1:00:08] ourselves at home in the bosom and the

[1:00:10] belly of the great mother, traveling

[1:00:13] through fire, traveling through spirit

[1:00:16] up from the fontineel to a higher realm.

[1:00:18] So, we're going to we're going to learn

[1:00:20] how to find the right departure lounge

[1:00:24] for a journey to the other side of

[1:00:25] death. And we won't do this in a

[1:00:27] hopeless sort of silly way. We'll do it

[1:00:30] with the guidance, blessing, and

[1:00:31] protection we will invoke. So, we'll

[1:00:33] spend a certain amount of time calling

[1:00:36] up the blessing, protection, narrative

[1:00:39] guidance, navigational guidance that we

[1:00:41] require. We're going to explore as

[1:00:44] firsthand as we can uh first steps on

[1:00:48] the other side, transitions on the other

[1:00:50] side of physical death, stages of

[1:00:53] growth, evolution, rehab, higher

[1:00:56] education, contact with teachers, social

[1:00:59] life, real estate options on the other

[1:01:02] side of death. We'll have firsthand

[1:01:04] experience by journeying on these

[1:01:06] things. And we'll also learn from great

[1:01:08] travelers of the past, great soul

[1:01:10] travelers. For example, we'll spend a

[1:01:12] little bit of time with with one of my

[1:01:15] favorite schools for the understanding

[1:01:17] of life beyond death, which was really

[1:01:19] founded by the great Victorian ghost

[1:01:22] hunters, the founders of the Society for

[1:01:24] Psychical Research, people like Fred

[1:01:26] Meyers and their American counterparts,

[1:01:29] people like William James, people like

[1:01:30] the journalist WT Steed, who went down

[1:01:33] on the Titanic and reported back as he

[1:01:35] has promised to do about the stages of

[1:01:38] life after life he went through in a

[1:01:40] marvelous book called The Blue Island,

[1:01:42] which is going to be recommended reading

[1:01:44] in this course. So, we're having

[1:01:46] firsthand experience, but we're also

[1:01:47] going to hear from people, people today

[1:01:50] and people in earlier times and other

[1:01:52] cultures and other civilizations who did

[1:01:54] a lot of exploring of the soul realms

[1:01:57] beyond death. We're going to learn how

[1:01:59] to assist uh people living and dead very

[1:02:02] specifically. We're going to learn how

[1:02:04] to help people approaching death who in

[1:02:06] the last stages of life. Hey, do you

[1:02:08] know someone who's dying right now?

[1:02:11] Do I not? No, I don't actually.

[1:02:14] >> Uh, Stephen, think again.

[1:02:17] >> Think again. You're just

[1:02:19] >> Well, teasing you.

[1:02:20] >> I'm teasing you.

[1:02:22] >> Yeah, you're dying. You're dying right

[1:02:23] now.

[1:02:23] >> I guess Oh, you're right. If you think

[1:02:25] of it like broader yet.

[1:02:27] >> I love it that I could get you with that

[1:02:29] one. I was really addressing you to

[1:02:31] everybody. I wasn't I wasn't picking on

[1:02:33] you individually, but you responded.

[1:02:35] Bless you. I mean, I love the fact I

[1:02:37] love the way you put yourself into these

[1:02:39] games and don't hold back. It's great.

[1:02:41] Uh, I tell you, if we were sitting in a

[1:02:43] room of hundred people, and I've done

[1:02:45] this in front of a room of many hundreds

[1:02:46] of people, many of them are sitting

[1:02:48] there, "No, I don't know anyone."

[1:02:50] [laughter] And then you say, "You do

[1:02:52] know someone. You're dying right now."

[1:02:54] What I'm saying is that it's never too

[1:02:57] late or too soon to consider these

[1:03:00] things. So getting ready for the

[1:03:03] transition, getting ready to check out

[1:03:04] of this life, I I have some very cool

[1:03:07] techniques that I've experimented with

[1:03:09] and applied and offered people over many

[1:03:12] years now. One of them is what we call

[1:03:14] the dream transfer. I I'm sure that this

[1:03:16] is an ancient technique, but in this

[1:03:19] form, it's one that I came up with in

[1:03:20] the course of my own practice and

[1:03:22] teaching. You have someone who doesn't

[1:03:24] have a dream, doesn't have a vision,

[1:03:26] doesn't have a map, doesn't know how to

[1:03:28] approach the journey. Well, of course,

[1:03:30] there are all sorts of prayerful ways

[1:03:32] that you can help someone. The Tibetans

[1:03:34] might practice poa, the trans transition

[1:03:37] of consciousness on your behalf and give

[1:03:39] you a meditation deity or a guru or

[1:03:42] something. The church might pray over

[1:03:43] you. There are all sorts of ways that

[1:03:45] established religion can help someone.

[1:03:47] But if we're going to be individualistic

[1:03:51] about this and go for our the

[1:03:52] authenticity of our own direct

[1:03:54] experience, what can we do for someone

[1:03:57] who might be approaching death but

[1:03:59] doesn't really have a way of visualizing

[1:04:01] or handling that? We can bring them a

[1:04:04] dream. We can bring them a vision of how

[1:04:07] this might work. Should I tell you a

[1:04:08] story about this? The kind of things we

[1:04:10] can learn in practice.

[1:04:12] >> I'll put in the midst of everyday life,

[1:04:13] Stephen. I mean, I know you like this.

[1:04:15] So, I'm on an airplane and I'm playing a

[1:04:17] synchronicity game. You know what's

[1:04:18] going to come up on the plane that will

[1:04:20] guide me on what I'm doing that day,

[1:04:22] which is I'm leading a short workshop

[1:04:24] called making death your ally, which by

[1:04:27] the way introduces another of the big

[1:04:29] themes of this psychop training. You're

[1:04:31] going to meet your personal death and

[1:04:33] you're going to be put through a

[1:04:34] questionnaire and you're going to see

[1:04:36] what you need to do to negotiate a life

[1:04:38] contract that'll give you more enjoyable

[1:04:41] years on this earth. Anyway, I'm on the

[1:04:44] plane. what's going to happen on the

[1:04:45] plane that will be guidance for me on

[1:04:48] the death workshop I'm about to lead in

[1:04:50] Cincinnati. There's an old man sitting

[1:04:52] in my seat. Interesting. We swap seats.

[1:04:56] Jack, he's 90 years old. And we've we've

[1:05:00] stuck up a pleasant conversation. Then

[1:05:02] he starts moaning about his life, never

[1:05:04] had any luck. And I think, oh dear, two

[1:05:06] hours of this, it'll be very drab. And

[1:05:08] I'm thinking either I raise my book and

[1:05:10] pretend I never met him or I improvise.

[1:05:12] So, I start improvising. I notice he's

[1:05:15] wearing a lot of golf club badges. I see

[1:05:17] you like golf, Jack. Yes. He perks up.

[1:05:19] Tell me about your best day on a golf

[1:05:22] course. Oh. Oh, I got a hole in one. And

[1:05:24] suddenly he's a poet. The ball is flying

[1:05:27] through the mist. Uh, but there's no one

[1:05:30] to see it. I told you I never had any

[1:05:32] luck. Now I'm improvising. This is going

[1:05:35] to become an example of dream transfer.

[1:05:37] I'm just improvising. I said to him,

[1:05:39] "Jack, I have a movie of your life going

[1:05:42] through my life, my my mind. Would you

[1:05:44] like to hear it?" Oh. Oh, okay. Jack,

[1:05:47] you filled in the form. Apparently,

[1:05:49] there's a ballot you can fill in a form

[1:05:50] and if no one saw you get a hole in one,

[1:05:53] and if they pull your name, you get to

[1:05:54] fly free first class to Sedandre in

[1:05:57] Scotland to play golf. He never filled

[1:05:59] in the form. Never had any luck. Jack,

[1:06:01] you filled in the form. You're on the

[1:06:03] plane flying first class to Scotland.

[1:06:05] Oh, okay. You're having single mode. Oh,

[1:06:07] good. Yeah, you're out on the links,

[1:06:10] Jack. Yeah. What's happening? Well, you

[1:06:12] get a birdie on the first hole. My golf

[1:06:14] lingo is not great. So, at the third

[1:06:16] hole, I've got to tell him a better

[1:06:17] story. Third hole's a beautiful young

[1:06:19] woman waiting for you, Jack. Oh. Oh,

[1:06:22] what's she look like? I don't know his

[1:06:23] tastes. All slim but curvy. Oh, what's

[1:06:26] her hair? Reddish. Oh, never had any

[1:06:28] luck with red heads. Well, I'm

[1:06:29] desperate. Oh, well. Early morning,

[1:06:32] flick of the light, highlights in the

[1:06:34] early sun, Jack, she takes you by the

[1:06:36] hand. Yes. Yes. She's leading you to a

[1:06:39] building. Yes. Yes. I thought I think he

[1:06:41] could check out right now. He lead she

[1:06:44] leads you into the library of the

[1:06:45] university and she puts books on the

[1:06:47] table in front of you. What books?

[1:06:49] History, archaeology, biology. How did

[1:06:51] you know what? Those are the subjects I

[1:06:54] would have studied at university. I

[1:06:56] never got there as a high school

[1:06:57] dropout.

[1:06:59] So, I've given him a story in which he

[1:07:01] is flying on a silver jet to a golf

[1:07:04] course which isn't necessarily in

[1:07:06] Scotland. and there's a beautiful female

[1:07:08] companion waiting for him. And we go

[1:07:10] over the story and then he starts making

[1:07:12] announcements about his life. He's going

[1:07:13] to write to the people with whom there's

[1:07:16] been bad blood. He's going to deal with

[1:07:17] the state matters. He is in fact getting

[1:07:19] ready for death even though we haven't

[1:07:21] mentioned death, nor have I mentioned

[1:07:23] the word dream, come to think of it. As

[1:07:26] we deplain, he's checking the details

[1:07:28] about the library again. And he writes

[1:07:31] to me the following week and says the

[1:07:32] most important day of his life. he's

[1:07:35] ready to face life and to face death. So

[1:07:38] that told in with colloquialism and the

[1:07:41] humor that was involved is an example of

[1:07:44] giving an image, giving a dream, in this

[1:07:46] case giving a map for the first stages

[1:07:49] of the transition to someone who doesn't

[1:07:51] have one. This is something we can learn

[1:07:53] to do. It's a beautiful thing. It makes

[1:07:56] poets in a practical sense out of all of

[1:07:58] us.

[1:07:59] >> Yeah, that's an amazing story and really

[1:08:01] a great embodiment of the teachings that

[1:08:02] you're sharing. So um what well

[1:08:05] beautiful program and we kind of you

[1:08:07] covered a lot of the broad arcs. I think

[1:08:08] it's worthwhile to uh share a bit just

[1:08:11] the title so people get a sense for how

[1:08:13] it all flows together with those broad

[1:08:15] themes that you discussed. So module one

[1:08:17] is called open the dream gate and call

[1:08:19] in guidance and protection. Module two

[1:08:22] lucid and liinal dreaming to consciously

[1:08:24] travel between worlds. Module three

[1:08:28] reasons our dead come calling and how to

[1:08:30] deepen your connection with them. Module

[1:08:32] four, talk to the dead for healing,

[1:08:34] forgiveness, and co-creation. Module

[1:08:36] five, explore soul, spirit, and dead

[1:08:38] teachers to navigate the other world.

[1:08:41] Module six, explore reports from the

[1:08:43] other side to deepen your understanding

[1:08:44] of the afterlife. And you share a little

[1:08:46] bit more about just Yeah. the power of

[1:08:48] understanding what happens in the

[1:08:50] afterlife and how that shifts our

[1:08:52] experience. Now,

[1:08:56] I think it's

[1:08:58] going to be much easier for you in your

[1:09:00] life to handle the ups and downs the

[1:09:04] light throws at you if you have a solid,

[1:09:08] secure vision of what lies beyond this

[1:09:12] world. And of course, that involves life

[1:09:14] after this life. It also eventually is

[1:09:16] going to involve remembering more of

[1:09:20] other life experiences that you might

[1:09:22] have had and might be currently having

[1:09:24] in other times and other realities.

[1:09:26] Because by the end of this course, we're

[1:09:28] going to look not only at what kind of

[1:09:31] progression, what kind of succession of

[1:09:34] bo states you might go in after physical

[1:09:37] death. We're going to look at the stage

[1:09:40] of consciousness at which you're able to

[1:09:43] form a more large and generous view of

[1:09:48] your relationship in the

[1:09:50] multi-dimensional universe with multiple

[1:09:53] life experiences, multiple personalities

[1:09:56] connected with you that from a certain

[1:09:58] point of view might be part of a linear

[1:10:00] succession involving karmic traces and

[1:10:02] all of that, but might also in a sense

[1:10:05] be going on right now. And of course to

[1:10:07] manage that you're going to be invited

[1:10:10] to rise to the perspective of the self

[1:10:12] on a higher level. A higher self on a

[1:10:15] level above the one that you are

[1:10:18] currently on. I mean this is a great

[1:10:19] thing to rise to the perspective of the

[1:10:22] oversoul or higher self. And when you do

[1:10:25] that you have the ability you see again

[1:10:28] to look over the hurly burly and

[1:10:31] confusion of everyday life with an

[1:10:34] aerial view. actually a beyond aerial

[1:10:37] view, maybe not a celestial view, but

[1:10:39] certainly a view from a higher mental or

[1:10:41] causal plane. And this could be the key

[1:10:44] to great empowerment, wiser choices uh

[1:10:48] in everything in everything in life. So

[1:10:50] that's what it's really all about.

[1:10:53] >> Truly fascinating. Then from there,

[1:10:55] module seven goes into journey through

[1:10:57] death and rebirth with the goddess for

[1:10:58] healing and soul remembering. Module

[1:11:01] eight, cross the waters to the other

[1:11:03] side for connection, guidance, and

[1:11:04] discovery. Module nine, take flight from

[1:11:07] Silver Airport to explore the other

[1:11:09] world. Module 10, enter Dante's gate to

[1:11:12] meet the beloved of your soul. We

[1:11:13] haven't mentioned that. Share a little

[1:11:14] bit more about meeting the beloved.

[1:11:16] >> Oh, I love this. Here we are, Dante.

[1:11:17] From the heart western literature, we

[1:11:19] have a great shamanic map to to the many

[1:11:23] worlds. And we're going to take the part

[1:11:24] of it from the purgatoria, which is

[1:11:27] people talk about the inferno. Not

[1:11:29] enough people read the purgatoria, let

[1:11:31] alone the paradisoa. Dant is on his way

[1:11:33] to meeting the beloved of his soul,

[1:11:35] Beatatrice Beatatric, who's going to

[1:11:37] look like a lovely young girl he loved

[1:11:39] and could never have. That's the way his

[1:11:41] his his psychop his beloved the soul is

[1:11:44] going to look in a chariot drawn by

[1:11:47] griffins, winged beasts, and accompanied

[1:11:49] by angels. And to get to her, he has to

[1:11:52] go through a stage of looking at himself

[1:11:54] from various perspectives and deciding

[1:11:56] what sacrifice he's willing to make. But

[1:11:59] there's a great moment for a dreamer

[1:12:01] when Beatatrice looks at him. He's

[1:12:04] desperate to meet her, names him for the

[1:12:06] first time in the immense comedian, the

[1:12:08] immense poem. He's named for the first

[1:12:10] time and she says, not even to him, but

[1:12:13] to the angels around her. Look at this

[1:12:14] idiot. Vainly in dreams I called him and

[1:12:19] he would not listen. We are told at this

[1:12:21] pivotal moment in the drama, she was

[1:12:24] calling him in his dreams and he would

[1:12:26] not listen. And that's why he had to go

[1:12:27] through hell. That's why he got lost in

[1:12:30] insta.

[1:12:36] That's why in the midst of life he found

[1:12:38] himself lost in a dark wood and had to

[1:12:40] go through all the cycles of hell

[1:12:42] because the beloved of the soul says to

[1:12:45] the angels he would not listen to the

[1:12:47] dreams in which I was speaking to him.

[1:12:50] So there's a moment you ask what

[1:12:52] dreaming is all about. There's a moment

[1:12:54] from Dante to consider.

[1:12:56] >> That's powerful. We then go into module

[1:12:59] 11 make death your ally to live with

[1:13:01] greater courage and purpose. Module 12,

[1:13:03] help the dead find their way to healing,

[1:13:05] forgiveness, and release. Module 13, fly

[1:13:07] to the moon to explore the mysteries of

[1:13:09] the astral realm. Module 14, take your

[1:13:11] first steps on the other side with

[1:13:13] greater awareness and understanding.

[1:13:15] Module 15, get a life on the other side

[1:13:17] through imagination, memory, and desire.

[1:13:19] Module 16, become a midwife of death to

[1:13:22] help others approach the journey with

[1:13:23] courage and grace journey. And module

[1:13:26] 17, journey between lives to remember

[1:13:27] your soul, family, and purpose. It's a

[1:13:29] fascinating. Share a little bit more

[1:13:31] about that.

[1:13:32] This goes back to what we were talking

[1:13:34] about and it goes back to that guide who

[1:13:36] turned up for me when I was 14. The the

[1:13:39] knowledge that matters comes through

[1:13:41] anomnesis. Remembering who you were,

[1:13:43] what you knew, and where you were before

[1:13:46] you came here. And one of the ways to do

[1:13:49] that is to find your way to the space

[1:13:52] between lives. There's actually been a

[1:13:54] lot of interesting stuff written and

[1:13:55] published about this in recent years. A

[1:13:57] lot of it through hypnotic regression,

[1:13:59] which is all very well, but I prefer

[1:14:01] people to have their own conscious

[1:14:03] experiences mediated only by suggestions

[1:14:06] and uh guide rules and invocations for

[1:14:09] blessing and so on. So if you can go to

[1:14:11] the place where choices were made by you

[1:14:16] uh with guidance no doubt before you

[1:14:18] came here then you might be able to

[1:14:20] carry back into this world a clearer

[1:14:23] idea of what it's all about who you are

[1:14:26] where you come from and what you're

[1:14:27] meant to be doing right now. And once

[1:14:30] again, if you have a sense of that, a

[1:14:32] sense of your contract or agreement that

[1:14:34] brought you here are things that you

[1:14:36] undertook to do in this life, uh then

[1:14:39] perhaps you're going to approach things

[1:14:41] with clarity and courage that might

[1:14:43] escape you otherwise.

[1:14:45] >> And then we culminate the program with

[1:14:47] module 18, meet more of your soul family

[1:14:49] to view your life from a higher

[1:14:51] perspective. And so that's an overview.

[1:14:54] There's a lot more. It's all at

[1:14:56] psychoptraining.com.

[1:14:58] you can get more details on each of the

[1:14:59] modules and I want to share a little bit

[1:15:02] more about how the program is

[1:15:03] structured. So if you choose to move

[1:15:04] forward with this training, you're going

[1:15:06] to get 18 90-minute live sessions with

[1:15:08] Robert. Each is really filled with

[1:15:10] wisdom, practices, insights, sharing.

[1:15:13] You you do interactive practices,

[1:15:15] shamanic drumming together, and you'll

[1:15:17] also have time to ask your questions

[1:15:19] live, which really opens up a whole

[1:15:20] richness. In addition, you'll have

[1:15:22] recordings of every session, both video

[1:15:24] and audio, to add to your

[1:15:25] transformational library for years to

[1:15:27] come. There's word for word transcripts.

[1:15:29] There's weekly exercises. There's a

[1:15:32] community group to support you and

[1:15:33] deepen your experience. And Robert tends

[1:15:35] to be very active with the community

[1:15:36] group to sort of really catalyze deeper

[1:15:38] discussions and exchanges. There's a

[1:15:40] small group time to connect with other

[1:15:42] participants. And on the page, you also

[1:15:44] see there's a number of extra bonuses

[1:15:46] that Robert's been very um generous or

[1:15:48] our team has also been really generous

[1:15:50] in adding. There's a um paleocsychology

[1:15:53] and lucid dreamers video conversation

[1:15:55] with Ryan Herd. Anything you want to

[1:15:57] share about that?

[1:15:58] >> Oh, [snorts] Ryan's great. He's one of

[1:16:00] the new generation of dream researchers

[1:16:02] and he's lively and he like me

[1:16:04] understands that we have more in common

[1:16:07] with paleo humans who who did a lot of

[1:16:10] the shamanic dream stuff that we might

[1:16:12] like to remember. for example, uh we we

[1:16:15] we we active dreamers recognize like

[1:16:18] them that we live in a conscious alive

[1:16:21] universe that everything is alive and we

[1:16:23] can dream with all of it. Uh so his

[1:16:25] approach to lucid dreaming is very

[1:16:27] liberated. He he he came to public

[1:16:30] attention by offering some of the

[1:16:32] clearest and most practical guidance on

[1:16:34] dealing with sleep paralysis that was

[1:16:36] available. It's a very good

[1:16:37] conversation.

[1:16:39] >> That's great. That's a great bonus. And

[1:16:41] then there's a second bonus with audio

[1:16:42] conversation with Sandra Ingramman, our

[1:16:44] beloved shamanic teacher. It's called

[1:16:46] Shamans, Dreamers, and Care of the Soul.

[1:16:48] Anything you want to add to that?

[1:16:49] >> Oh, Sandra and I have been friends for

[1:16:51] she says forever. We we've been friends

[1:16:54] we've been friends for 35 years at

[1:16:56] least. And synchronicity crackles around

[1:16:59] us. I mean, I remember I went to a

[1:17:00] workshop she gave some 35 years ago and

[1:17:03] the synchronicity that crackled in that

[1:17:05] workshop was astonishing. I met an older

[1:17:07] version of myself in that workshop which

[1:17:10] was not on the agenda but it's what

[1:17:11] happened which was a source of

[1:17:13] continuing guidance for me in my life.

[1:17:15] And Sandra Sandra is a dreamer. She's

[1:17:17] not just a shaman who does ritual. She

[1:17:19] does a lot of wonderful ritual but she

[1:17:21] understands very deeply that dreaming is

[1:17:24] at the center of real shamanic practice

[1:17:27] and that a really good shaman is likely

[1:17:29] to be a worldclass dreamer.

[1:17:32] Then we have one final bonus that is

[1:17:34] available for those who sign up today by

[1:17:36] midnight. It is called the art of

[1:17:39] crossing worlds, dreams, dying and

[1:17:41] intuition. This is actually a dialogue

[1:17:42] between Robert and Felicity Warner who's

[1:17:44] another shift faculty member. Anything

[1:17:46] else that you want to share about that

[1:17:48] special bonus?

[1:17:49] >> She's a lovely lovely lovely lady. She

[1:17:51] she is a death dueler, death midwife. I

[1:17:53] think she uses both phrases. She's

[1:17:55] trained many of them in the UK and is

[1:17:58] greatly appreciated for the warmth and

[1:18:00] compassion and spirit that she brings to

[1:18:03] helping people get ready for the

[1:18:04] crossing.

[1:18:07] >> Well, it's going to be an amazing

[1:18:08] training. Really is the capstone from so

[1:18:10] much of the exploration of these ter

[1:18:12] this terrain of working with the the

[1:18:15] liinal edges of dying dreaming and

[1:18:18] working with the afterlife. And uh we've

[1:18:20] kept the investment really appropriate

[1:18:22] and accessible given the length and

[1:18:24] depth of this program. It's uh

[1:18:25] >> five payments of $285

[1:18:28] or you save 10% when you pay in full

[1:18:31] with one payment of $1,297.

[1:18:34] The course is going to start on October

[1:18:36] 22nd and run Thursdays at 9:00 a.m.

[1:18:38] Pacific, noon Eastern. But even if you

[1:18:40] can't make the live times, you can still

[1:18:42] get the full value with the recordings

[1:18:43] and the transcripts and the community if

[1:18:45] you really participate. There's some

[1:18:47] great testimonials on the page from from

[1:19:00] frontiers of this field. So again, it's

[1:19:08] you're going to get that special bonus

[1:19:10] with Robert and Felicity Warner on the

[1:19:12] art of crossing worlds, dreams, dying,

[1:19:14] and intuition.

[1:19:16] So, Robert, again, it's always a

[1:19:18] mindopening, hearttoping hour. Thank you

[1:19:21] for expanding our paradigm of the

[1:19:22] possible yet again uh and offering this

[1:19:25] training and psychoprom training.

[1:19:28] Anything that you haven't shared that's

[1:19:29] still on your heart you want to share

[1:19:30] with folks who are considering joining

[1:19:31] you.

[1:19:33] >> Here's a thought.

[1:19:35] Path of the soul after death is the same

[1:19:38] as the path of the soul in dreams. I

[1:19:41] first heard that as a saying of the

[1:19:44] Lakota. I think it's very clear and it's

[1:19:47] very true. The path of the soul after

[1:19:49] death is the same as the path of the

[1:19:50] soul in dreams except that you're not

[1:19:53] coming back to the the same physical

[1:19:55] body. So that's really the rationale for

[1:19:59] all of this. But we might say that it's

[1:20:01] not just about the path of the soul

[1:20:03] after death in the sense of the

[1:20:05] afterlife. It's about the path of the

[1:20:07] soul in any life on either side of the

[1:20:10] swing door of death. So here we are.

[1:20:13] This is a path of soul. It's walkable.

[1:20:16] It's waiting. It's a boundless

[1:20:18] adventure, boundless journey of

[1:20:20] discovery, healing, and possibility.

[1:20:24] >> Beautiful. Well, thank you, Robert.

[1:20:26] Thank you all for joining and look

[1:20:27] forward to seeing many of you in the

[1:20:28] program. And again, it's at

[1:20:30] psychoptraining.com and you'll get that

[1:20:32] special bonus with Robert and Felicity

[1:20:34] when you sign up by midnight.

[1:20:35] So, thank you so much.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Moss describes the psychopomp as a guide and friend of souls, a word meaning conductor of souls. He says the role is most often linked to death, dying, and the afterlife, but it also applies to helping people find their soul's path in any world they are on.
Active Dreaming is the practice created by Robert Moss, a bestselling author, and it is the framework behind the livestream. In the session, Moss treats dreams as entry points into consciousness beyond the body, and as portals for guidance, healing, and contact with the departed.
Moss argues that dreams can be meeting places between worlds and offers his own adolescent visitation as an example. He presents this as firsthand experience to investigate for yourself rather than as settled proof, emphasizing direct experience over doctrine.
Moss explains that anamnesis means remembering, and in the school of Plato and his successors it means soul-remembering, recalling what the soul knows about its purpose. He connects this idea to the guidance he received in a dream-like state as a teenager.
Moss describes soul loss as what happens when grief or trauma makes part of a person withdraw, because the world seems too cold and cruel. Shamanic work, in his account, aims to help locate and call back those parts so the person can become whole again.
The Dream Post Office is a conscious dream journey Moss guides participants through, according to the event description. It is designed to help people discover whether lost dreams, forgotten messages, or unexpected connections may be waiting for them.
