The Best Entry Point

Start with a guided meditation for healing on her YouTube channel. Of the three themes she covers (healing, personal growth, spiritual development), healing is the most direct expression of her background. Her clinical work covers anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and the stress of family conflict, and her meditations grew out of that. Sort the channel by popularity or scan titles for the words "healing" or "relaxation," and pick one of the shorter sessions. Listen once, start to finish, ideally lying down with headphones, since the soothing background music is part of the design.

The Next Two or Three Places to Go

1. A personal growth meditation. Once you know her voice and pacing, move to the growth-oriented sessions. These lean more on affirmations and visualization, and they are where her "inspire, uplift, motivate, empower" framing is most obvious. 2. A spiritual development meditation. This is where her positive and spiritual psychology principles come forward. Expect more imagery and more open-ended reflection. 3. A relaxation or hypnosis-style session. Her work blends guided imagery, relaxation, and hypnosis, so a session that leans toward deep relaxation or sleep shows you the technique at its most immersive.

What to Expect

Expect a clinician's calm rather than a mystic's performance. Her meditations combine guided imagery, visualization, relaxation training, hypnosis, and gentle music. You will be told what to picture, how to release tension, and what to affirm. If you want silent sitting or breath-counting, this is a different approach: it is directive and narrated. The affirmations and the occasional bit of wisdom or inspiration are woven in, so you may finish with a phrase or two to carry into the day.

Her training shows in the structure. She holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology and has worked in private practice alongside her husband, a Licensed Professional Counselor. The sessions are built to be usable by ordinary people, not just experienced meditators.

Common Beginner Misunderstandings

"This is just background music." The music supports the session, but the guidance is the content. Listening while distracted gets you far less than listening with attention.

"Hypnosis means losing control." In this context it means focused, guided relaxation. You stay aware and can open your eyes whenever you like.

"It replaces therapy." Her own services separate meditation from therapy, consultation, and court work. The videos are supportive tools, not treatment. If you are dealing with serious depression, trauma, or a crisis, use them alongside professional help.

"One session should change things." Relaxation training works through repetition. The first listen mostly teaches you how the format works.

"Affirmations are cheesy." They land better when you treat them as statements you are practicing, not claims you must instantly believe.

When This Work Lands Hardest

Day 2: Repeat the same meditation. Familiarity deepens the effect, and you will notice what you missed.

Day 3: Try a different healing or relaxation session. Compare voice, pacing, and music, and see which suits you.

Day 4: Move to a personal growth meditation. Pick one affirmation from it and write it down.

Day 5: Repeat the growth meditation, and say your chosen affirmation aloud once before starting.

Day 6: Try a spiritual development session. Give it your full attention, and don't judge whether you are "doing it right."

Day 7: Return to your favorite of the week, ideally before bed. Then decide what to keep: one daily session, a few per week, or a specific theme.

Keep each session to a single sitting, at the same time of day if you can. By day seven you will know whether her style fits you, which is all a first week needs to show.
