Trish Hart is the founder of Hart Mind Body, working between Boston and Sedona. She is a therapeutic yoga instructor, stress management and mindfulness educator, sound therapist and nature-infused retreat leader. She is also Senior Program Manager of the Thich Nhat Center for Mindfulness in Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Her path began in business and healthcare. She worked in auditing and consulting at Deloitte, and in administration and finance at Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Hospital. In 2012 a marathon injury left her choosing between surgery and an integrative mind body program. She chose the program, and it changed her career. She went on to study at the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine, where she is a certified facilitator of Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART). Her formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and an MBA from Boston University Questrom School of Business.
Trish is a Duke-trained Integrative Health and Wellness Coach, a YACEP-500 yoga teacher, and a Kripalu-certified Mindful Outdoor Guide and Non-Sleep Deep Rest (Yoga Nidra) guide. A life-long birder, she brings research, neuroscience and time in nature to her teaching. She has educated people about sleep since 2014. Her work centers on helping people draw on their own Relaxation Response to manage stress, rest well and avoid burnout, whether in corporate programs, one-on-one coaching or retreats.
