Yoga Festival
Description
Yogafort is a two-day yoga festival in downtown Boise, Idaho, woven into Treefort Music Fest. It brings together yoga, dance, meditation and live music, with local and regional artists leading sessions that range from high-energy movement to deep rest. It suits anyone curious about yoga, yoga nidra, sound baths or breathwork, whether you are new to practice or have a long-standing one. Marisa Radha Weppner is among the yoga teachers on the Yogafort program.
What to Expect
Yogafort is built around the meeting of yoga and music. The organizers describe the aim as encouraging authenticity through mindfulness, movement and musicality. Live DJs, pianists and other musicians move through many of the sessions, so a class can feel like something between a workout, a meditation and a concert.
The range of intensity is wide. On the active side there are HIIT and dance classes. On the quieter side there are yoga nidra, sound baths and breathwork. You can build a day that raises your energy or one that settles it, or move between both. The program runs from 10:00 in the morning on the first day to 6:00 in the evening on the second, and it is designed to get you energized and ready for the wider Treefort experience.

The Setting
Yogafort takes place in downtown Boise at 1000 W Myrtle St, Boise, Idaho 83702, running alongside Treefort Music Fest. Being part of a city music festival gives the yoga program a lively backdrop, and it makes it easy to pair your practice with the festival around it.
Before You Go
All experience levels are welcome. Because the sessions vary so much in intensity, you can choose what suits you on the day. If you are new to this kind of practice, gentler offerings such as yoga nidra and sound baths are a good place to begin, and the more energetic HIIT and dance classes are there when you want them.
