Weekend Immersion Retreat for Young Adults

This weekend immersion retreat for young adults under 45 takes place at Naimisam in Hyderabad, Telangana. It is a meditation and self-inquiry gathering led by Mukesh Gupta, a meditation teacher whose work is inspired by J. Krishnamurti and other non-dual teachings. What to Expect

The retreat is a compact weekend. It begins at 11:00 AM on Saturday and ends at 5:00 PM on Sunday. Within that span, the days follow the rhythm of the longer retreats in the series: meditative self-inquiry, quiet dialogues, selected readings from J. Krishnamurti's teachings, small group explorations, silent sittings and contemplative walks in nature.

The invitation is into a gentle space where a deeper source of Being can awaken, one that moves beyond the confines of fear and the restless ego-mind. Each retreat in the series carries its own fragrance, and this one is shaped for a younger group.

Krishnamurti described the purpose of a retreat as a chance to stop the routine, "not only the routine of out ward existence but the routine which the mind establishes for its own safety and convenience." A weekend away is a modest way to try that.

About Mukesh Gupta

Mukesh Gupta is a traveling teacher who offers dialogues and meditative self-inquiry inspired by J. Krishnamurti and other non-dual teachings. He has more than twenty years on his own spiritual path. His approach, which he calls Meditative and Transformative Self-Inquiry, rests on connecting with inner silence, compassionate presence and unconditional love.
