Description
This free online breathwork challenge, weBreathe into the New Year, is led by Natasha Baillères, M.A., M.Ed., founder of weBreathe. It offers five short daily breathwork sessions held live online, built for anyone who wants a simple morning practice to close out one year and begin the next. No breathwork experience is needed, and people returning to a daily practice are just as welcome.
What to Expect
The challenge runs Monday through Friday, with one ten-minute guided session each day. Sessions begin early in the morning: 5:30 AM Pacific, 7:30 AM Central or 8:30 AM Eastern. The window spans a stretch from late December into the first days of January, and the weekend days within it have no sessions listed.
Ten minutes is deliberately small. The aim is feel-good breathing practices you can actually stick to, and a daily ritual that builds consistency and self-trust rather than forcing discipline. Natasha describes it as a habit that feels good and supports the person you are becoming.
The challenge speaks to people who want to:
- regulate stress, anxiety or mental overload
- release old patterns and start fresh
- set intentions for the year ahead
- practice alongside others, with community and accountability
Over the five days, participants can expect calmer focus, emotional clarity and more energy, along with practical breathing tools to use at any time and a connection to the weBreathe community.
About Natasha Baillères
Natasha Baillères is the founder of weBreathe and a breathwork facilitator. She holds an M.A. from the Graduate School of Clinical Psychology at Columbia University and an M.Ed. from the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University. Her work brings psychology and breath together in group experiences, private sessions and facilitator training.
She describes breath as the guide behind everything she does. After losing her brother in 2019, conscious breath became her lifeline and helped her move through grief. Sharing the practice with others became her mission.
Her breathwork training includes study at Loka Yoga School in Bali, Indonesia, and with the International Breathwork Foundation, along with a Spirit Mind Body certification through the Spirit Mind Body Institute at Columbia University and a course on the psychology of self-regulation at Harvard University. She is also a registered yoga teacher and a Reiki master, with training in vinyasa, yin and restorative yoga.
weBreathe offers two main approaches: Breath for Self Control and Emotion Regulation, where breath serves as a tool for the nervous system, and Conscious Expansion Breathwork®, a method for reaching altered states.
