Spiritual Retreat
Description
The Transformation Retreat is an eight-day spiritual retreat in the Osho tradition, held at the Osho Tapoban International Commune in the Nagarjun Hills of Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal. It is open to all seekers and is set aside for stillness, self-inquiry and a return to your own awareness and joy.
What to Expect
The retreat runs for eight days, from an afternoon arrival on the first day to check-out after breakfast on the last. The days are given over to stillness and self-inquiry, in the spirit of the Osho tradition that Tapoban is known for. The aim is simple and unhurried: to come back to yourself, to quiet, to awareness, and to a sense of pure joy.
Arriving in the afternoon gives you the rest of the day to settle in before the retreat begins. Departure comes after breakfast on the final day, so the time together closes without a rush.
The Setting
Tapoban Commune sits in the Nagarjun Hills, in Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal. Its hillside setting suits a week of inward attention, away from the pace of ordinary life. Arrival and departure are both handled at the commune itself, with check-in in the afternoon and check-out after breakfast.
Before You Go
This retreat is open to all levels. No prior experience of meditation or of Osho's work is stated as a requirement, so newcomers and long-time seekers are equally welcome. Plan to be present for the full eight days, from the afternoon of arrival through breakfast on the day you leave, so that the whole arc of the retreat is yours to receive.
