Yoga Retreat
Description
The Nervous System Reset is a five-night yoga retreat at Haramara Retreat in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico, led by Daniela Kosmalski. It is built for people who are tired of feeling tired: those whose minds don't easily turn off, who carry tension without noticing it, and who find that rest doesn't truly restore them. The teaching is Hatha yoga, joined by breathwork, meditation and Yoga Nidra, all aimed at helping the body move out of stress mode and into calm.
What to Expect
This is a retreat about regulation, not performance. Rather than filling the days with more to do, the schedule leaves the body room to unwind. Daniela guides each practice with the aim of slowing the breath, quieting the mind, releasing stored physical and emotional tension, improving the depth of sleep, and restoring a sense of safety in the body.
Each day begins with a gentle morning flow and closes with a deeply restorative evening Hatha practice. Yoga Nidra is offered every evening for deep rest. Guided meditation and breathwork focus on calming the nervous system, and circle talks look at how to regulate your body in everyday life, so the tools make it home with you. Between sessions there is unscheduled time for the pool, the beach, a massage, the surrounding nature, or simply doing nothing.
The group is small by design. Spots are deliberately limited to keep the retreat intimate and well supported, which also leaves room for real connection among participants.
Guests can expect to leave with practical yoga and breath tools for a mind that won't switch off, a body that feels lighter and more at ease, and a lived sense of what true rest feels like.
