Shamanic Women's Retreat in Cyprus

This Shamanic Women's Retreat in Cyprus is a seven-day, intensive gathering for women who want to reconnect with their voice, body and instinct. It takes place at Natura Beach Hotel in Polis, on the island the organizer calls the island of Aphrodite, and is led by Aruna Mór, a Celtic shamanic priestess of Avalon and sound artist. The group is small, between eight and fourteen women, and the focus is the "homecoming of the wild woman": shedding roles and old patterns and meeting what remains.

What to Expect

The retreat is built around shamanic and body-based practices, held in a group where anger, ecstasy, quiet and softness are all welcome. The program includes:

- Rituals that awaken the instincts
- Shamanic soul journeys back to what the organizer calls your ancient nature
- Sound journeys
- Energy medicine
- Breathwork for processing and releasing stored trauma
- Dance, to reconnect with a free, feminine power

The invitation is to work with the voice, the memory of the body, the heart and the wild aliveness at the center. The setting, with the sea, the rhythm of the waves and the island itself, is part of the work. The material does not give a day-by-day schedule or session times.

Along the way the group shares one traditional Meze dinner and a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon, both included in the retreat price, along with transfers during the retreat (airport transfers are not included).

About Aruna Mór

Aruna Mór, formerly known as Anja Meise, is a Celtic shamanic priestess of Avalon, sound artist and women's guide. She describes a turning point in 2008, when she felt caught in her patterns and fears and decided that life "must be possible without powerlessness." That decision opened a path that took her to sacred sites: Avalon in Glastonbury, Cyprus, the pyramids of Bosnia and the Untersberg. She has lived in Cyprus since March 2025 and shares her local knowledge with participants, including recommendations for the island.

The Setting

The retreat is based at Natura Beach Hotel, by the sea in Polis, on Cyprus. The nearest airports are Paphos and Larnaca. Airport transfers can be booked individually or arranged together with other participants.

Each woman books her own room directly with the hotel. Meals are also separate, and the group dines together in selected local restaurants, some right by the ocean, with options ranging from vegan to traditional.
