Spiritual Retreat
Description
The Sacred Femme Women's Retreat is a women's circle and retreat led by Sierra Kliscz at Anamaya Resort in Montezuma, on the Pacific coast of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. It is for women who want a full week set apart from ordinary life, in the company of other women, with a facilitator who holds the space and a jungle-and-ocean setting that does much of the slowing down for you.
What to Expect
Retreats at Anamaya run for a week, and guests are encouraged to shape the days to their own needs. You can take part in the classes and workshops, or simply come for the meals, the spa and wellness services, the excursions, and long stretches in a hammock or by the pool. Nothing asks you to perform. Sierra's work at Anamaya draws on morning movement, guided breathwork, ceremony and time in the surrounding nature, including waterfall treks, and it is built around rest and returning to yourself rather than a packed agenda.
About Sierra Kliscz
Sierra Kliscz is a facilitator who leads retreats at Anamaya and is described there as a world-class facilitator. Her retreat work brings together movement, breathwork and ceremony, held in a way that keeps the pace gentle and the attention on the women in the room.
The Setting
Anamaya Resort sits in the jungle above the ocean near the town of Montezuma, on the Nicoya Peninsula side of Puntarenas. It has been named one of National Geographic's World's Best Wellness Destinations 2026 and sits in a Blue Zone overlooking the Pacific. Guests choose a room according to the size of their party or their budget. Meals are healthy and farm-to-table, and the resort also offers an infinity pool, a spa with optional treatments, and excursions into the surrounding jungle and coast.
Before You Go
Retreats at Anamaya are open to people at any level, and most weekly programs let you decide how much to join in. If you are looking for a women's retreat in Costa Rica that combines breathwork, ceremony, gentle movement and real downtime, with Sierra Kliscz guiding and Anamaya as home base, this week is built for that. Pack for warm, humid jungle weather, comfortable clothes for movement, and shoes suited to waterfall walks and uneven trails.
