Wellness Retreat
Description
This co-ed Ayahuasca retreat is a three-day ceremonial weekend at Pachamama Munai in Lutz, Florida, led by Teffa Honan with support from Chris Honan and the Pachamama Munai team. It is meant for people who want to work with Ayahuasca as a path toward healing inherited patterns, releasing burdens carried through generations, and restoring harmony within the lineage. The organizers are clear that this is not an escape or an experience to consume. It is a prayerful return to the body, the heart, the spirit, and the wisdom of those who came before.
What to Expect
The weekend begins at 11:00 am on the first day and closes at 11:00 am on the last. In between, an experienced team holds participants through preparation, ceremony, and integration, with personal and group support throughout.
The program includes:
- Two Ayahuasca ceremonies
- Two Hapé ceremonies
- Guided integration circles
- Somatic movement and grounding body practices
- Breathwork journeys
- Live medicine music
- A cacao ceremony and music circle
- Healthy, nourishing meals
Each element is woven together to support safety, embodiment, and deep integration, before, during, and after the ceremonies. Spaces are limited so that the ceremonial field stays strong.
About Teffa Honan
Teffa Honan is a ceremonial facilitator and spiritual mentor with years of experience holding plant medicine retreats and integration spaces. She is co-founder and director of Pachamama Munai, a healing center devoted to conscious ceremony, community healing, and ancestral wisdom. Her work brings together traditional ceremony, somatic regulation, integration guidance, and community-based containers designed for safety and depth.
About Chris Honan
Chris Honan is a ceremonial support facilitator and co-founder of Pachamama Munai, known for his calm, steady presence and practical support in retreat spaces. Together, Chris and Teffa work closely with participants on preparation, connection, and integration, offering grounding and reassurance so the ceremonial environment feels safe and well held.
The Setting
The retreat takes place at Pachamama Munai in Lutz, Florida. Meals are provided, and accommodations are part of what participant contributions cover. Unless you are a volunteer, you can stay at the facility only on the days you take part in ceremonies.
Before You Go
Registration begins with an intake form. Once it has been received and reviewed and you have been qualified to attend, an invoice for the deposit is sent to the email address you provided. The remaining balance is due ahead of the retreat, and payment plans are available. A card transaction fee is added to the retreat invoice.
A few things are worth knowing in advance:
- The medicine itself is not charged for. Contributions go toward meals, supplies, accommodations, the center's operating costs, and the expenses of the shamans and facilitators.
- Use of any other drug or sacred plant during the whole retreat, including marijuana, mushrooms, LSD, and Xanga, is strictly prohibited.
- Nonparticipants may not attend unless this has been discussed with the organizers beforehand.
- Information shared in the intake is kept private and discussed only with the lead medicine facilitator of the ceremony.
The organizers ask that you arrive remembering the purpose of the weekend: a time and place to heal and reconnect, not a recreational getaway.
