Rhythm & Song - Drum & Singing Event, Orlando, Florida

Rhythm & Song is a drum and singing event in Orlando, Florida, led by singer-songwriter Shylah Ray Sunshine. It is a live gathering built around voice and percussion, suited to anyone who wants to sing, drum or simply listen in a communal setting in Central Florida.

The event is part of a longer run of Shylah Ray Sunshine's live work, which includes performances, workshops, ecstatic dance events and private ceremonies across Florida, Arizona and California. In Orlando it sits alongside an ecstatic dance special event held the evening before, so those who like to move as well as sing may find the two pair well.

What to Expect

The gathering centers on drumming and group singing. The material does not describe a set program, so the specific flow of the evening, the length of the session and any starting time are best confirmed before you plan your day. What the title makes plain is the heart of it: rhythm and song, shared in the same room.
