Rest & Refresh Women's Retreat

The Rest & Refresh Women's Retreat is an eight-day, seven-night Christian women's retreat at Orchid Lodge Samui on Koh Samui, Thailand. It offers restorative rest, quiet and spiritual refreshment in a faith-based fellowship setting, and it is described by the organizers as their most popular group retreat.

What to Expect

This is a retreat built around rest rather than a packed schedule. The aim is a gentle rhythm of rest, reflection and meaningful connection with God, in a peaceful tropical setting and in the company of other Christian women. The week is meant to feel stress-free: time to slow down, be quiet, and let yourself be restored.

The program runs from one Saturday to the following Saturday, so you arrive at the start of a weekend and leave at the end of the next. The retreat takes its theme from a verse in Jeremiah: "I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint."

The Setting

The retreat takes place at Orchid Lodge Samui, in Amphoe Ko Samui, in the province of Surat Thani, Thailand. Koh Samui is a tropical island, and the setting is part of the invitation: time in nature, away from the demands of home, work and ministry.

Before You Go

No particular level of Biblical knowledge or spiritual maturity is required. Women who are new to faith, women who have walked with Christ for many years, and women anywhere in between are all welcome.
