Yoga Workshop
Description
Reclaiming Your Attention in a Distracted World is a yoga workshop at Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville in Buckingham, Virginia, led by counselor and yoga teacher Joni Staaf-Stamford. It is a weekend for anyone who feels pulled in too many directions and wants practical, experiential ways to steady the mind, stay present and feel more connected.
The workshop starts from a classic yogic observation: the mind is naturally restless, drawn outward through the senses. Today that pull is stronger than ever, and staying steady takes practice. Over the weekend, Joni offers a way of training the restless mind to come home.
What to Expect
The weekend is practical and experiential rather than lecture-based. Yoga's understanding of the wandering mind meets the realities of modern life, with a focus on building attention as a skill that can be practiced and strengthened. The workshop is designed for people who want tools they can carry back into ordinary days, not only insight while they are at the ashram.
It runs for a weekend at Yogaville, a residential setting that is itself a break from the usual stream of screens and notifications.

Before You Go
