Description
Passion, Power and Love is a spiritual workshop at the EarthSpirit Centre in Compton Dundon, Somerset, England, led by relationship coach and Art of Being® teacher Jan Day and her team. It runs across the turn of the year and is for people who want to bring more openness, joy and sensuality into their daily lives and their relationships.
What to Expect
The workshop is an exploration of how we can become more open to the sacred, the joyful and the sensual in everyday life. The central idea is that every touch, whether it comes through feelings, the body or words, can become a way of waking up to passion, power and presence.
Over the days, participants look at what it means to be intimate and to meet an inner lover. The aim is to feel happier in yourself and to bring more of yourself and your gifts into the world around you. The workshop takes place across the whole of the Centre, and runs for five nights, from the last days of December into the first of January.
The material gives no daily timetable or session times, so the specific exercises are best asked about with the facilitators directly.
About Jan Day
Jan Day is a relationship coach and an Art of Being® teacher. She leads Living Tantra training at EarthSpirit Centre several times through the year, and this workshop is held with her and her team. Her work centres on intimacy, relationship and the body as a path to presence.
The Setting
EarthSpirit Centre sits in Compton Dundon, in the Somerset countryside near Glastonbury, among the ancient landscape of the Somerset Levels. This event uses the whole Centre, so the main building and the Little Earth house are both part of the gathering.
Little Earth is described by the Centre as a self-contained eco centre with single, twin and triple ensuite rooms and a large, light yoga space. Meals at the Centre are vegetarian, made with fresh, locally sourced produce, and dietary restrictions can be catered for. The nearest train station is Castle Cary.
Before You Go
The material lists no prerequisites or experience requirements. Because the work involves touch, feelings and relationship, it is worth reading about Jan Day's approach before you decide, and contacting the Centre or the facilitators if you have questions about how the days are held, accessibility or what to bring.
