Family Constellation Workshop

This Family Constellation Workshop is a five-day healing workshop at PachaMama Eco Village & Retreat Center in Nicoya, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. It is a group process for people who want to look at the family patterns they have inherited, and to loosen the hold those patterns have on their health, relationships and sense of possibility. It is led by Anila, who came to this work through her own healing.

Family constellation work starts from the idea that we absorb beliefs about ourselves early in life, and that some of them quietly limit us. Out of love and loyalty, children often carry the pain of those who came before them: fear, guilt, loneliness, depression, dependence, even illness. The workshop brings these hidden dynamics into view so that you can recognise them and begin to set them down.

What to Expect

The workshop runs over five mornings, each from 09:00 to 12:30. The first day is an opening session, the middle three days are group process, and the fifth day closes the work. The afternoons are free of sessions.

The work happens in a shared group field. Participants witness one another's constellations rather than watching from the outside, and past participants often describe the atmosphere as safe, tender and welcoming, even when what surfaces is confronting. Several of them mention deep emotional release while held by the whole group.

About Anila

Anila's own inner path began at the age of 14, when she set out to heal from a severe eating disorder, both bulimia and anorexia. She explored many different therapies before finding her way through. That experience is the root of her work as a facilitator. Participants from Australia, the UK, the Netherlands, the USA, Germany and Costa Rica describe her as someone who holds space with care, wisdom, intuition and humor. One participant, a practitioner herself, went on to refer her own clients to Anila for sessions.

The Setting

The workshop takes place at PachaMama Eco Village & Retreat Center in Nicoya, in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Accommodation options are available for those staying on site.

Before You Go

The price is in US dollars, and a 13 percent Costa Rican VAT is added to the total. The tax is not included in the listed price. Sessions are held in the mornings only, so plan to be present for all five days to follow the full arc of the process, from the opening session through to the closing.
