Elise Browning Miller & Susan-Elena Equivel Retreat – Feathered Pipe Ranch, Big Sky

This yoga retreat brings Elise Browning Miller and Susan-Elena Equivel to Feathered Pipe Ranch in Big Sky, Montana, for a week of practice in the Montana mountains. It is one of the summer retreat weeks hosted at the ranch, and it suits anyone drawn to yoga in a quiet, natural setting.

What to Expect

The week runs seven nights, shared between two teachers. Feathered Pipe's retreats draw on a wide range of practice, including hatha yoga, Iyengar yoga, restorative yoga, vinyasa, bhakti yoga, yoga nidra, yoga therapy, mindfulness and meditation. The ranch describes its programs as suited to every style and level of experience. The specific emphasis and daily schedule for this week are shaped by the teachers.

The Setting

Feathered Pipe Ranch describes itself as a retreat center set deep in the heart of Big Sky country, surrounded by pristine Montana nature. The ranch hosts yoga, mindfulness, and health and wellness retreats through the summer season, with a different teacher or pair of teachers each week. This session is one of several in the August lineup, which sits between the weeks led by Jillian Pransky and by Linda Meacci and Kate Kolbrener.

Before You Go

Feathered Pipe welcomes people of every level of experience, so you do not need an established practice to take part. Registration for the season opens on a set day, and the ranch offers an email notification list for anyone who wants word before it opens. Because summer weeks at the ranch are popular, it is worth signing up for that notice if you plan to attend.
