Yoga Retreat
Description
The 26&2 Retreat to Mexico is a Bikram yoga and hot yoga retreat at Xinalani Retreat in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, led by Jasmine Nash. It is made for lovers of the original hot 26&2 series who want to bring their practice on vacation, and it welcomes anyone who would rather keep the pace relaxed. Every session is optional, so the week can be a full yoga immersion, a beach holiday with some yoga in it, or something in between.
What to Expect
Days follow a steady rhythm built around the practice. Morning coffee, tea and snacks are set out from 7:00 to 7:30 am, and a hot yoga class runs from 8:00 to 9:30 am. Breakfast follows from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
Midday is open. From 12:00 to 2:00 pm there are optional excursions on some days, including a jungle trek, along with beach time or plain rest. Lunch is from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. In the afternoon, a posture technique workshop runs on select days from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, for those who want to deepen their understanding of the series. From 5:30 to 7:00 pm you can choose a hot yoga class or a yin yoga class, and dinner is served from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.
Beyond the classes, the week includes meditation sessions, kayaking, snorkeling and a temazcal ceremony. There is plenty of time to play at the beach, walk in the jungle, or doze by the pool.
