Retreat Yourself 5, 6 or 7 nights at Suryalila

Retreat Yourself is a flexible yoga retreat at Suryalila Retreat Centre in Villamartín, Cádiz, in Andalusia, southern Spain. Rather than following a fixed group programme, you stay for five, six or seven nights and shape the stay around your own needs. It suits anyone who wants daily yoga and good food without a rigid timetable: people who want to rest, people who want to be more active, and those who want to go deeper into healing or immersion. The stay is hosted by the Suryalila Inhouse Teachers.

What to Expect

The retreat is built around a simple base: daily yoga, organic vegetarian meals, holistic treatments, time in nature, and space to rest and recharge. You choose the experiences that suit you best, so one guest might fill the days with activity while another keeps things quiet and unhurried.

For those who want more, optional add ons are available. These lean toward activity, adventure, healing or deeper immersion, and you can take as many or as few as you like. The length of stay is also yours to set, with five, six or seven nights on offer.

Because there is no set group schedule, this is a good fit if you have found fixed-programme retreats too prescriptive, or if you want to try a yoga retreat in Spain without committing to a themed week. Suryalila also runs guided retreats with a set schedule, and Retreat Yourself is the self-designed alternative to those.

Your Hosts

The yoga is led by the Suryalila Inhouse Teachers, the resident team of the centre. They are the people who teach the daily classes and look after the practice side of your stay.

The Setting

Suryalila Retreat Centre is in Villamartín, in the province of Cádiz, within reach of Andalusia's natural parks. Nature is part of the retreat itself, not just a backdrop, and time outdoors sits alongside the yoga, the treatments and the meals. Food is organic and vegetarian, which gives the days a steady, nourishing rhythm.

Before You Go

You do not need a particular level of experience to choose this kind of retreat, since you decide how much to take on and the add ons are optional. If you would like a quiet stay of yoga, vegetarian food and rest, that is entirely possible. If you would rather fill your time with more activity or healing work, you can build that in as well.
