What should I expect during the live satsang—will there be Q&A, silence, or guided practice?

Preethaji's satsangs typically include periods of teaching (often responding to genuine questions about consciousness and the spiritual path), sustained silence for direct transmission, and sometimes guided inquiry—the exact format often responds to the energy and needs of the gathering. Come prepared for both intellectual engagement and contemplative stillness rather than a lecture-only format.

Does Preethaji's teaching require any specific spiritual practice or lineage affiliation beforehand?

No prior affiliation is needed—Preethaji's work at Ekam intentionally welcomes sincere seekers from any background. However, the teaching assumes genuine interest in self-realization and consciousness, not casual curiosity; it's for those asking fundamental questions about existence and willing to examine their own experience directly.

How does Preethaji integrate her Indian philosophical lineage with modern seekers' contexts?

Rather than presenting ancient teachings as historical artifacts, Preethaji demonstrates their living relevance to contemporary psychological and existential struggles—she bridges traditional Vedanta with how modern consciousness actually operates. This is why her teaching resonates across cultural backgrounds while remaining firmly grounded in authentic spiritual philosophy, not diluted or repackaged.

FAQs

Preethaji's satsang blends direct spiritual teaching rooted in Vedanta philosophy with guided inquiry into consciousness—it's not purely meditation instruction. Her sessions guide seekers toward self-realization through a combination of wisdom transmission, contemplative silence, and dialogical exploration of the nature of existence, making it more philosophically rigorous than standard mindfulness classes.

Preethaji draws directly from the Ekam Institute's approach, which intentionally synthesizes ancient spiritual wisdom (particularly Vedantic teachings) with contemporary understanding of consciousness and psychology. Expect her Seoul session to reflect this distinctive blend—not generic spirituality, but her specific lineage's perspective on self-realization and the nature of mind.

Preethaji's teaching style meets people where they are—her satsangs are designed to be accessible to seekers without formal training while remaining substantive for those with practice experience. However, if you've never encountered Vedantic concepts (non-duality, the nature of the self, consciousness as primary), coming with openness rather than expecting introductory-level explanations will serve you better.

Preethaji's meditation practice is rooted in devotional and self-inquiry traditions, not stress-reduction—the intention is liberation and direct experience of consciousness, not symptom management. Her teaching emphasizes the transcendent dimension of practice, aligned with her Vedantic framework, which positions meditation as a gateway to self-realization rather than a wellness technique.
