Gong Meditation
Description
Maha Gong is a gong meditation led by Gonzalo Basavilbaso at the Sacred Valley Tribe Maha Templo in Ccoscco Ayllu San Salvador, near Cusco, Peru. It is an invitation into an expanded state of consciousness, open to anyone drawn to sound meditation and the deep rest that gong vibration can bring.
What to Expect
The session runs from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on a Sunday. It begins at the Maha Templo with a cup of cacao, taken to help you meet the experience more fully, in the heart and in the body.
From there, Gonzalo leads the gong meditation. The vibration of the gongs carries participants into a deep meditative state, harmonizing the physical, mental and emotional levels. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to perform. You receive the sound, and the session closes at 2:00 PM.
