Living Yoga through Letting Go with the Sedona Method

Living Yoga through Letting Go with the Sedona Method is a yoga workshop at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat on Paradise Island, Bahamas. It suits anyone drawn to a workshop that pairs the practice of yoga with the Sedona Method, a approach to letting go, in a working ashram setting.

The Setting

The Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat on Paradise Island is a place where spiritual study and daily practice run side by side all year. Its calendar includes weekend workshops, immersive courses, guided retreats and Yoga Vacation Programs, as well as yoga teacher training in the Sivananda tradition. Programs there range across pranayama, meditation, kirtan, Vedanta, the Bhagavad Gita, Ayurveda and the four paths of yoga: Karma, Bhakti, Raja and Jnana.

Workshops at the ashram sit within this wider rhythm of teaching and practice, which is part of what draws people to a yoga retreat here rather than a standalone class. Guests who want to stay for a workshop can reserve a stay through the ashram, and the ashram describes its programs as open to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat as much as to dedicated students.
