Healing Workshop
Description
Igniting the Healing Power of Your Empathy and Intuition is a healing workshop led by Judith Orloff, MD, at the Art of Living Retreat Center in North Carolina. It is a guest presenter program built around a simple idea: turn sensitivity into strength. It suits people who feel deeply, pick up on the moods of others, or sense things they cannot easily explain, and who want to work with those qualities rather than feel overwhelmed by them.
What to Expect
The program runs over three days, in the retreat center's guest teacher format. Its focus is empathy and intuition as capacities that can support healing. Judith Orloff, MD, leads the workshop herself.
About Judith Orloff, MD
Judith Orloff, MD, is the guest presenter for this workshop and brings her own teaching on empathy and intuition to the Center.
The Setting
The Art of Living Retreat Center sits in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, a quiet place the Center describes as suited to stepping away from daily chaos. Alongside its guest teacher workshops, the Center offers meditation, yoga, Ayurveda treatments and therapies, and indoor and outdoor activities, so the surroundings are built for rest and reflection. Guest programs like this one share the calendar with the Center's longer signature retreats, which include silence retreats, breathwork and meditation retreats, and Panchakarma.
