Meditation Retreat
Description
Gateway to Chan Hybrid Retreat is a meditation retreat in the Chan (Chinese Zen) tradition, led by Guo Gu at the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies in Barre, Vermont. It is offered in a hybrid format, so you can practice on site in central Vermont or take part online.
What to Expect
The retreat is built around sitting meditation in 30-minute periods. Between them, mindful yoga and walking meditation break up the sitting, so the day moves between stillness and gentle movement. The aim is to deepen an existing practice through this steady rhythm, with Chan as the framework.
About Guo Gu
