Advanced Yoga Teacher Training: 550 Hours is a yoga teacher training for certified 200-hour teachers, led by Prof. Predrag Nikic, Ph.D., at the European House of Yoga Light in Vysočina, Czech Republic. It focuses on releasing energy blocks, inner purification and personal growth, and it can be taken online, in person at the ashram, or as a hybrid of the two.

Completing the program earns a 550-hour certificate from the Yoga Federation of Europe and the International Yoga Academy, aligned with international standards.

What to Expect

The training is built around advanced yoga techniques for personal growth and for teaching. You work on recognizing and removing energy blockages, on inner purification and emotional release, and on a deeper understanding of the subtle body and energetic anatomy. Advanced pranayama, meditation and mindfulness practices run through the program, alongside the integration of yogic philosophy into modern life and teaching. You also learn practical tools for the individual needs of your students, and how to recognize and transform non-developmental behavior patterns.

Satsangs and direct mentorship with Prof. Predrag Nikic give personal energy support along the way. There are three formats:

- Online: a 350-hour program with live sessions over Zoom and personal consultations, spread over about six months.
- On-site at the ashram: a 350-hour residential program with individual mentorship, plus initiation and energy support from the teacher. It includes a 25-day, 200-hour residential block.
- Hybrid: 150 hours of live Zoom sessions and self-study, combined with a 17-day, 200-hour residential block at the ashram.

About Prof. Predrag Nikic, Ph.D.

Prof. Predrag Nikic is a globally awarded yoga master and a Padma Shri awardee. He mentors participants personally throughout the training. The wider teaching team is made up mainly of PhDs and long-term yoga teachers who, in the school's words, practiced yoga long before it became popular.

The Setting

Residential participants stay at the European House of Yoga Light, a nature-rich ashram in Vysočina, Czech Republic, set up to support inner growth and learning. Rooms are simple, clean and shared. A private room is available on request for an additional fee, and you choose your room type at checkout. Accommodation is offered on a half-board basis, with payment made on arrival.

Before You Go

This is an advanced training for certified 200-hour yoga teachers. You are expected to arrive with a teaching foundation and an established personal practice. The language of instruction is English.
