Productivity's Shadow: Why Rest Alone Won't Heal Feminine Burnout

From Sarah Poet | Sacred Remembering

Watch · 8

Sarah Poet opens her latest podcast episode with a confession disguised as an observation: women are burned out, and they're naming it. That part feels revolutionary. What comes next is more radical. The feminine energy women are recovering isn't just permission to rest—and treating it that way misses the entire point. In a culture built on masculine-coded productivity, when women first encounter the concept of feminine energy, the impulse is to weaponize it as recovery. Rest becomes the answer. But rest, Poet argues, is merely the threshold. The real reclamation is creativity, wisdom, and a complete reimagining of how energy moves through a woman's life and work.

The recognition of burnout, especially among women who've been climbing professional ladders or building their own enterprises, is by itself a milestone. Poet notes that "every single woman knows what that feels like" and "what it feels like to overextend, to overgive energy, and to work super hard but not feel like the respect or the recognition is coming back our way." The problem isn't that women work too much—it's that they're working within systems designed for a different nervous system entirely. Those systems, built on what Poet calls "old-fashioned masculine ways of working," don't account for the rhythms, resources, or the actual architecture of feminine energy.

The Inner Masculine and the Architecture of Burnout

To understand why rest alone fails as a solution, Poet invites us to examine the inner masculine within ourselves. Every person carries both inner masculine and inner feminine energies, but for women navigating a patriarchal work culture, the relationship becomes complicated. The masculine archetype—what Poet describes as the "penetrative outward" energy, "the actionable masculine"—has been internalized as the only legitimate way to accomplish things. This shows up as relentless forward motion, constant optimization, and the belief that worthiness equals output.

The trouble deepens when women enter consciousness work. They begin remembering that feminine energy exists, that it's been suppressed and devalued, and they make a logical but incomplete leap: the feminine must be the answer to the masculine's excess. So they reach for rest. Poet is clear: "The feminine is so much more than rest."

When women first reclaim the feminine in response to burnout, she explains, two concepts typically emerge: rest and intuition. Both are real, both are needed. But they're not the frontier. Poet locates the actual frontier in the distinction between rest as recovery and what she calls "deep stillness" as access to wisdom. "The yin is not just rest," she says. "The yin is a well of wisdom."

Creativity as the Radical Reclamation

The reframing Poet proposes is structural. Burnout in existing work systems stems not from doing too much but from doing it in the wrong way—doing it while severed from feminine resources that are themselves generative. Women are trapped in a template that devalues "emotional wisdom" and normalizes 12-hour workdays "without kindness to the body system." The systems themselves, she argues, "are not kind to the feminine system."

This is where creativity enters not as hobby or aesthetic play but as a primary resource. Creativity is the capacity to generate from stillness, to listen before acting, to sense what wants to emerge rather than forcing predetermined outcomes. It's the opposite of the grinding, completion-oriented masculine that measures success by how many items get crossed off the list. Poet has been developing this distinction throughout her work: she speaks of "structure and flow," an approach that looks at "the quality of our energy in the time that we have" rather than simply accumulating more hours or forcing more tasks into existing ones.

The invitation here is not to replace masculine energy with feminine—that would merely invert the same domination pattern—but to integrate them, to allow the feminine to inform how the masculine is deployed. When a woman addresses her inner masculine from a place of deep feminine wisdom rather than from burnout's desperation, something shifts. The masculine becomes a tool of authentic intention rather than an instrument of self-abandonment.

The Shadow of Productivity and the Path Forward

Poet positions this not as individual self-improvement but as planetary reclamation. "We are literally repairing the planetary energetics of feminine and masculine," she says. Every woman who addresses her relationship with work, ambition, and feminine energy is changing the template at scale. The old structures are falling; new ones are being birthed. The woman who no longer abandons herself in service to achievement becomes part of that birth.

The practical dimension of this work—where Poet focuses much of her teaching—involves what she calls "eight feminine resources" that women can identify and amplify. These are capacities beyond rest: the ability to listen, to hold space, to sense what's needed, to create from stillness, to move with rhythm rather than against it. A woman who knows these resources and knows how to access them can repattern her life. She can tell the grinding masculine "I'm exhausted" and actually mean it, knowing that exhaustion is information, not failure.

The healing, Poet emphasizes, doesn't come from criticizing masculinity itself. "It's not about going to war with the masculine," she notes. Instead, it's about recognizing that we've internalized a wounded, narrow version of masculine energy and then choosing differently. The gift is that we heal it through our own reclamation. As women remember and embody feminine wisdom—not as victims of an abusive system but as architects of new ones—the systems themselves transform.

Where to go from here

If you recognize yourself in the pattern Poet describes, the first move is not necessarily to add more rest to your schedule. Instead, ask yourself: How is my inner masculine deployed? Is it in service to deep wisdom, or is it running on fumes and habit? What would it feel like to make a choice from a well of creativity rather than from a to-do list? Poet invites women into deeper exploration through her structured work, particularly programs focused on feminine resources and energy reclamation. The point isn't to abandon productivity—it's to birth it from a different source, one that sustains rather than depletes. In a culture still structured around the masculine, that shift is revolutionary.

[0:02] hello everyone welcome to Sacred

[0:04] remembering podcast episode 185 I'm

[0:07] Sarah poet it is so good to be here with

[0:09] you

[0:11] today we are going to be talking about

[0:14] productivity and the shadow masculine

[0:18] productivity and the shadow masculine in

[0:21] women like this is specifically a

[0:23] conversation with women and context for

[0:28] how this topic came to be is that we

[0:31] were recently talking in the uh

[0:34] structure and flow group call that we

[0:38] were having um about the shadow side of

[0:41] productivity and this is the gorgeous

[0:45] Epiphany that women have when they're

[0:49] doing structure and flow so uh structure

[0:52] and flow is this 90day system that I

[0:54] have to really revolutionize your time

[0:57] and energy um if you know me at all if

[1:00] you're new to my work hello

[1:02] hello I am super passionate about

[1:06] women's energy feminine energy the way

[1:09] we work the way we relate to others um

[1:12] if we're Sovereign in our agreements in

[1:15] our exchanges and you know so many women

[1:19] are feeling burnt out on so many

[1:22] different levels like we could talk

[1:23] about burnout for hours and days but

[1:27] every single woman knows what that feels

[1:30] like like and every woman knows what it

[1:33] feels like to overextend to overg give

[1:37] energy um and to work super super hard

[1:41] but not feel like the respect or the

[1:44] recognition is coming back our way and

[1:49] we are healing that like we're literally

[1:52] changing that with our very lives and

[1:55] this is what I'm so interested in

[1:58] helping women to do because we have to

[2:02] value our resources we have to name what

[2:06] those feminine resources are you'll hear

[2:09] me talk about this a lot um if this is

[2:11] interesting you please know I'll put in

[2:14] a little plug here um I'm thinking of

[2:17] reopening my resource container it's a

[2:20] group um eight-week Journey it's it's

[2:25] also um you know in Source energetics

[2:28] it's like we're resour sing we're going

[2:31] back to source to really amp up those

[2:34] feminine resources so this is my work

[2:37] where we Define what those eight

[2:39] feminine resources are and we go to

[2:42] source to amplify those resources right

[2:45] so that's coming up in May we've been

[2:48] doing structure and flow um since

[2:51] January and we are talking about those

[2:54] eight feminine resources in structure

[2:56] and flow um but structure and flow

[2:59] really looks at the resource of Time and

[3:04] Time allocation and how

[3:08] we use our energy or said differently

[3:11] like the quality of our energy in the

[3:15] time that we have right because we're

[3:19] all like we have so many hours in a day

[3:22] we have the energy that we have and then

[3:24] what we can do is to really amplify the

[3:27] quality of that time of the energy of

[3:31] how we feel of the things that we engage

[3:33] in etc etc so so many women are in the

[3:40] habit of um being very productive now

[3:45] there's a light and Shadow to to

[3:48] productivity or I'll say there's you

[3:51] know positive and negative productivity

[3:54] obviously we need to be productive we

[3:56] need to take action we need to get

[3:58] things done right this is not um like

[4:02] some kind of idea that we're just going

[4:04] to like sit back in the universe is

[4:07] going to plop everything that we need at

[4:09] our feet that's not what I'm saying at

[4:11] all like we need to do something we need

[4:14] to engage we need that young energy in

[4:18] our lives like we need to do that but

[4:21] where does that come from what

[4:24] is the impetus right that's what I want

[4:28] to talk about in this

[4:30] episode um yeah want to break down some

[4:34] of like the inner feminine and masculine

[4:37] the inner Dynamic the inner um Shadow

[4:40] Dynamic that's going on and then if I

[4:42] can do this episode well I think I'm

[4:44] going to bridge this out quite nicely

[4:48] where you could have this aha moment by

[4:50] the end that's like whoa so all right

[4:54] let's look at the

[4:58] relationship of women

[5:01] to the masculine archetype now this is a

[5:05] can of work and you will hear me talk

[5:08] about a woman's relationship to the

[5:10] masculine archetype within herself so we

[5:14] all have inner feminine inner masculine

[5:17] right that's where we're going to focus

[5:19] today but a woman also has that external

[5:23] relationship Dynamic with the masculine

[5:25] so the masculine in men or in others

[5:29] right and then she has her relationship

[5:32] with the masculine

[5:34] divine all three of

[5:36] those it's it's very important that a

[5:39] woman on a conscious journey of

[5:42] reunification of stepping into her

[5:44] sovereignty and her wholeness that she

[5:47] address the masculine on all of those

[5:50] layers and levels now that is the work

[5:52] of a lifetime like we are repairing the

[5:55] planetary energetics of feminine and

[5:58] masculine and any woman who's is really

[6:00] doing this work you're going to really

[6:03] look at what your relationship is with

[6:05] the masculine on all three of those

[6:07] levels okay but for today I want to look

[6:12] at our relationship to the masculine as

[6:15] it applies to how we use our energy so

[6:20] what is our inner masculine doing and

[6:25] also how is that you know the society

[6:29] what learned about work what you know th

[6:32] those archetypal messages that we took

[6:36] and we received into like you know we

[6:40] just assume certain ways of work certain

[6:43] ways of being as a result of being in a

[6:47] culture so there's some inculturation

[6:50] that happens with women and work where

[6:55] you know if you want to succeed if you

[6:57] want to bring something forward if you

[6:58] want to climb a work plays lad if you

[7:01] want to be an entrepreneur right there

[7:03] are these ways that Society has laid out

[7:09] for you to be quote unquote

[7:11] successful now in this podcast over the

[7:14] last few months I've really been talking

[7:16] about

[7:17] structures and the fall of the old

[7:20] structures you know the birthing of the

[7:23] new structures this is happening this is

[7:26] happening through us and this is

[7:27] happening through women's remembrance so

[7:30] what we know about the existing

[7:31] structures is that they're not kind to

[7:35] the feminine system they're not kind to

[7:40] um the woman who is like working so hard

[7:42] maybe like alongside men in a workpl

[7:46] that you know devalues emotional wisdom

[7:51] or um has you work like 12-hour days

[7:56] without kindness to the body system

[7:59] right and these are the systems within

[8:03] which women will quote unquote burn out

[8:08] right because like they're so

[8:10] unsustained because they don't even

[8:12] consider feminine

[8:15] energy so it's worth saying right here

[8:18] that what happens here like as women

[8:21] start to remember feminine and masculine

[8:23] right because we're in these systems and

[8:25] we're like wait a second this isn't

[8:27] working and then this is what happened

[8:29] for me like some of us find these words

[8:31] right feminine masculine archetypes oh

[8:34] wait I remember that now there's this

[8:36] feminine archetype and it's been

[8:38] repressed and here I've been trying to

[8:40] Succeed In A system that doesn't even

[8:42] value that doesn't even incorporate that

[8:44] so what does that look like right and

[8:47] then the very first thing that happens

[8:49] with so many women is that the feminine

[8:51] comes to

[8:52] represent rest I would say there are two

[8:56] things that the feminine comes to

[8:57] represent rest and intuition so in the

[9:00] like beginning of

[9:03] Awakening the feminine equates to rest

[9:08] and like reincorporating rest into the

[9:11] ways that we work and live and intuition

[9:15] because we realize like there are other

[9:17] ways of knowing I recently did an

[9:20] episode on feminine ways of knowing I

[9:22] believe so you can check that out so

[9:25] here let's focus on this rest thing for

[9:27] a moment the feminine is so much more

[9:31] than rest so when we have a culture that

[9:35] is so overstimulating and so aligned

[9:39] with old-fashioned masculine ways of

[9:42] working that we need to like recover

[9:44] from it the feminine did not just come

[9:47] to recover from an abusive system like

[9:52] period that's not what we're doing we

[9:55] are not just

[9:57] surviving in these abusive system like

[10:00] we're literally Rec crafting the systems

[10:03] with our lives and with our

[10:05] remembrance which is so exciting so in

[10:08] the beginning we think oh I need to rest

[10:12] more because we totally do if we're

[10:15] burnt out right we need to recoup we

[10:17] need to come into right relationship

[10:20] with uh rhythms with our nervous system

[10:23] with um like being okay just

[10:27] being okay right like so many women are

[10:31] on such uh hyperdrive overdrive like

[10:36] constantly in this young orientation I'm

[10:39] saying young uh is like the penetrative

[10:43] outward masculine that actionable

[10:46] masculine so what is then the yin the

[10:51] yin is not just rest the yin is deep

[10:57] Stillness the the yin is a well of

[11:02] wisdom so if we're talking about the

[11:04] feminine that has been suppressed

[11:07] oppressed over time this is where we're

[11:10] talking about deep deep

[11:12] remembrance and we we just there are so

[11:17] many ways to get into relationship with

[11:20] that but primarily you know yes

[11:23] Stillness is needed um cultivating

[11:26] feminine ways of knowing are needed

[11:30] right

[11:32] so this is important and I'm going to

[11:34] come back to this here in a moment

[11:37] because this place is actually the place

[11:42] that we take action

[11:44] from okay this is very important this

[11:47] place is the place that should really

[11:51] bring the wisdom forward about what

[11:55] needs to happen um this this is like the

[11:59] feminine wisdom that has been covered up

[12:02] the feminine wisdom that you know we're

[12:04] not even like really in touch with a

[12:07] because we're busy B because we're in

[12:09] those old systems um C because we

[12:12] haven't remembered we don't even have

[12:14] this relationship with the feminine on

[12:17] this wide scale and forgive me for

[12:20] saying so but I'm going to be really

[12:21] honest here like there's so much surface

[12:24] level feminine

[12:26] remembrance right now that like this is

[12:29] not you know you go pole dance and do

[12:32] some embodiment and yeah you remember

[12:35] something but you're not necessarily

[12:36] like in the depth of of your feminine

[12:39] wisdom right you go to a retreat you you

[12:41] know you you get some oracle cards you

[12:44] follow these like really successful

[12:46] people who have written like spiritual

[12:48] books and written oracle cards this is

[12:50] not a deep feminine practice necessarily

[12:53] in and of itself right these are like U

[12:56] breadcrumbs on your own Journey journey

[13:00] of deep deep cultivation and Remembrance

[13:04] and I'm talking like you know we choose

[13:09] what breadcrumbs that we're going to

[13:11] kind of follow and pick up along the

[13:14] path of this remembrance like we need

[13:16] one another to to sprinkle the

[13:18] breadcrumbs and to remember right but

[13:20] then there's like what does your soul

[13:22] call you to what are you deeply

[13:25] interested in what information what

[13:27] intuition are you getting from from your

[13:29] own

[13:30] meditations um from your dreams what

[13:33] does your soul call you to do right this

[13:36] is where we start to access this deep

[13:40] deep feminine wisdom and new earth code

[13:43] which I'm so passionate about I'm always

[13:45] saying the answers to where we're going

[13:47] in the future are inside of modern women

[13:50] they

[13:51] are but we have to deconstruct the false

[13:54] systems and we have to really deepen

[13:57] into our own wisdom okay this is like

[14:02] deep and long and true work and and ways

[14:06] of being and

[14:08] really a way of life right it's not a

[14:12] consumable it's not a book it's not a

[14:16] consumable it is a way of life where you

[14:21] have

[14:23] repatterned and

[14:25] cultivated the capacity to hold space

[14:29] for your own

[14:32] feminine this is very important I hope

[14:35] I'm I'm getting this point across right

[14:37] so you go there over and over and over

[14:40] again and like you go into these unknown

[14:43] places you reclaim you remember okay and

[14:48] yeah I I I think it's perfect that the

[14:50] conversation is going this way because

[14:52] it's from there that we know the next

[14:56] action

[14:57] step so you can feel the difference here

[15:01] between if you stay in hyper

[15:04] productivity even if you're like an

[15:07] entrepreneur even if you say that you

[15:11] get this right there are so many female

[15:14] entrepreneurs who are talking

[15:18] about regulated nervous systems or

[15:21] remembering the feminine and balance

[15:23] with the masculine and I can say this

[15:27] because I myself have been in this

[15:29] person right where we know the words and

[15:33] the

[15:34] concepts and yet the way we're actually

[15:37] working is

[15:40] still uh tied to almost like enslaved to

[15:44] these old systems and structures and we

[15:47] know that it's not the way that we want

[15:50] it to be um we know that we're exhausted

[15:54] we know that there's this burnout um we

[15:57] know that there's got to be something

[15:58] different and yet like what are those

[16:01] new you know ways of work going to be

[16:04] this is something that I've really been

[16:05] asking myself um over the last few years

[16:09] and really closely attuning to my energy

[16:11] and looking at my energy as guide like

[16:15] looking at my own you know meditations

[16:18] and intuitions and what are the visuals

[16:21] that I'm getting in the meditations well

[16:23] then it's like literally showing me the

[16:27] direction the ways to go right so the

[16:30] alignment and the Attunement to that and

[16:32] trusting that as a guide um for life

[16:43] okay so in the old structures we had old

[16:48] Paradigm masculine and feminine okay and

[16:52] here's where there are imbalances there

[16:56] are these cultural archetypes that con

[16:59] to things like power dynamics and um you

[17:04] know someone has power someone doesn't

[17:07] um all all of

[17:09] those things that were truly like

[17:12] implanted in the culture for for so many

[17:15] hundreds even thousands of years that

[17:18] are not natural they are not a part of

[17:21] the template of original creation right

[17:24] they're it's like their programs their

[17:27] implants in our collect Ive

[17:30] Consciousness that you know it's like

[17:32] one gender supposed to have power of

[17:34] another like that it's insane right it's

[17:37] like that's not true that would not be

[17:40] the design of creation right so we start

[17:42] to

[17:44] remember um things like this and like

[17:48] the the current archetypes within the

[17:51] structures are

[17:54] skewed okay so we have some examples of

[17:59] let's say masculine now if I ask any

[18:03] women on the street what their

[18:05] associations with masculine are we're

[18:07] going to get all kinds of answers from

[18:11] like you know maybe your father was a

[18:13] good guy maybe your father was uh not he

[18:16] did not have his stuff together and he

[18:18] hurt you um you know people would

[18:21] probably mention like domineering

[18:23] Behavior or toxic masculinity you know

[18:26] like all of these things get thrown

[18:27] around out there so this is why it's

[18:29] really important for us to remember our

[18:31] own true and sacred relationship with

[18:33] the masculine like literally bringing

[18:36] back creation's archetype of the

[18:38] masculine by remembering it in our

[18:40] hearts and doing our healing

[18:42] work so in the collective archetype

[18:46] unfortunately we associate the masculine

[18:49] archetype with a lot of overworking a

[18:53] lot of domination a lot of um

[19:00] like drive without Pause Drive without

[19:05] consideration of the hole um drive for

[19:09] profit right um taking what is needed in

[19:15] order to like make profit or reach a

[19:19] goal

[19:21] so how how we want to work what kind of

[19:27] relationship we want with the masculine

[19:30] in the ways that we work you can hear

[19:33] and begin to see that this becomes

[19:35] something really important for us to get

[19:38] conscious about right okay so I want to

[19:42] like move into this point about

[19:45] productivity here and this is going to

[19:47] be a shorter podcast because I have a

[19:49] time limit today

[19:52] so when our

[19:55] relationship with the masculine is still

[19:58] skewed or is still in the old Paradigm

[20:01] or like one foot in the old Paradigm or

[20:03] we have not really cleared our

[20:06] relationship with the

[20:08] masculine when we

[20:11] are when we ourselves are

[20:16] experiencing like a dominator effect of

[20:20] masculine archetype in our own

[20:24] energy we're going to be in productivity

[20:29] we're going to orient our work toward

[20:34] productivity I'm going to say that again

[20:36] and then I'm going to contrast it when

[20:39] we as women have not yet healed our

[20:44] relationship our inner relationship with

[20:47] the masculine and our cultural

[20:48] relationship with the

[20:50] masculine and that shadow masculine

[20:55] Association is still saying get your

[20:58] stuff together together um make a profit

[21:02] do it at all

[21:04] costs um it it's like to do list

[21:08] oriented it's just the task it's like

[21:12] you wake up in the morning and you think

[21:14] what do I have to do today right and

[21:17] then you go about using your energy

[21:20] toward completing as many things on that

[21:24] list as you can you might say well Sarah

[21:27] that's life and just keep listening

[21:31] because there might be another way for

[21:32] you to look at this so I'm saying and

[21:36] I'm willing to be wrong that when you

[21:40] Orient your life that way there's still

[21:43] this Shadow masculine component and

[21:45] don't worry we all have like aspects of

[21:48] that that and there's a lot of like you

[21:51] won't be safe unless you do this you

[21:53] won't be productive you won't be um

[21:57] successful you won't get your stuff done

[21:59] unless you use your energy like this

[22:03] then you'll be left behind then you

[22:04] won't have the money then you you won't

[22:06] get it built right so when we're

[22:10] orienting in that way and it's

[22:14] productivity

[22:15] first I'm saying that shadow

[22:18] masculine okay and for us to use our

[22:22] energy in that way as women is extremely

[22:26] limiting extremely limiting and if you

[22:29] you are a woman on a soul path and A

[22:32] Soulful entrepreneur path and things are

[22:35] not moving forward for you this could be

[22:37] the exact ticket okay because you're

[22:40] trying super hard I know because

[22:44] I've been there and like things aren't

[22:47] actually moving forward even though

[22:48] you're being super

[22:50] productive this what I'm about to say

[22:53] next could actually be the spark that

[22:57] changes your life I hope that it is I

[22:59] hope because that would be so worthwhile

[23:02] for me making this podcast all right if

[23:05] that if this happens please reach out to

[23:08] me email sarahsarah po.com and be like

[23:12] oh my God this was a lifeball moment

[23:14] because I want to celebrate with you so

[23:18] we need to move from productivity to

[23:23] creativity and I'm mapping this out for

[23:26] you pretty simply by telling you that if

[23:29] you move from Shadow masculine and

[23:32] actually just like tell the masculine to

[23:34] step aside for a moment and then you

[23:36] move into this deep Yin relationship

[23:40] cultivate your deep feminine awareness

[23:44] like your your nature-based

[23:47] feminine awareness your soul connection

[23:51] your connection with why you came your

[23:56] purpose right if you cult culate your

[23:59] relationship with

[24:01] Stillness and The Feminine not just rest

[24:04] not the I'm going to pass out because

[24:07] I'm so exhausted after grinding

[24:09] myself all day not that but you have

[24:13] actually changed the way you use your

[24:15] time so that you

[24:17] prioritize hearing from your

[24:20] Yin hearing from your feminine

[24:23] your like innate the mothering the

[24:27] intuition the Wis wisdom the things the

[24:30] world has not seen yet and you go there

[24:35] first that feminine is going to tell you

[24:39] what is needed

[24:42] next and that my friends is the

[24:45] energetic of

[24:47] creativity not just

[24:50] productivity so instructure and flow

[24:53] recently I took us through a visual

[24:55] where there was um a you know the inner

[24:59] masculine and the inner feminine and we

[25:03] were like having a little conversation

[25:05] with each of these in in

[25:08] meditation

[25:10] and what I saw for me was the the inner

[25:15] masculine was standing there like tell

[25:20] me what to do just it was like he had

[25:23] his Hammers and his nails like ready and

[25:27] he was like I want to be in service

[25:29] I I want to work for you I want you to

[25:33] tell me what to

[25:35] do this my friends is the rightful

[25:37] Direction it is the rightful Direction

[25:41] um I may have shared this on the podcast

[25:44] before I I believe that I have it may

[25:47] not have even been very long ago um but

[25:50] I was in a peace pipe ceremony I mean

[25:54] it's incredible that I even started a

[25:55] sentence that way right like such a

[25:57] blessing um with Pat mccab who was a DA

[26:00] Elder and this was in 2019 in

[26:03] Pennsylvania and just very briefly the

[26:07] women who were bleeding were sent up on

[26:10] the hill um to like meditate and to

[26:16] Vision while the peace pipe ceremony was

[26:19] going on a little bit

[26:21] lower and whatever anyone had to say as

[26:25] a result of the Peace Pipe ceremony it

[26:29] was great it was heard right but the the

[26:31] women who had been bleeding were brought

[26:34] down into the center of the circle and

[26:37] they were asked what did you Vision what

[26:40] did you see during this process and

[26:43] whatever they visioned was given the

[26:47] most

[26:49] value it was like the

[26:53] wisdom right for the for the

[26:57] circle so so that gives me chills to

[27:00] talk about so you can feel that that

[27:04] there's this innate feminine reverence

[27:08] that to say that we've lost it is like a

[27:10] vast understatement right but we bring

[27:13] this back through our own cultivation

[27:16] and the ways that we use our own energy

[27:20] so are we in right respectful

[27:23] relationship with our own inner feminine

[27:26] and our own inner masculine

[27:29] for example you know if we're looking

[27:31] out into the collective and we want to

[27:33] criticize something like masculinity

[27:35] that happens all the

[27:37] time but we also internalize systems of

[27:41] Oppression in the ways that we use our

[27:45] own

[27:46] energy so if you have if you don't even

[27:50] know what your feminine energy is or

[27:52] even know what your feminine intuition

[27:54] is saying and you're so buried under

[27:57] overworking and

[27:59] productivity my friend you are not being

[28:02] sustainable to your own

[28:05] resources you are not being

[28:09] uh well it's it's oppressive to your own

[28:12] feminine but it's also deeply taking

[28:15] advantage of your own feminine so how

[28:19] are we going to heal feminine oppression

[28:22] or you know the the lack of respect for

[28:26] feminine voices or you know getting paid

[28:30] for women's work all of these things how

[28:34] are we going to fix that in the

[28:35] collective if you are still running your

[28:38] own woman body into the ground

[28:43] in exhaustion every single day just

[28:47] expecting it to just like wake up and

[28:50] serve wake up and serve wake up and

[28:52] serve and not even respecting the

[28:55] resources that you have been given it's

[28:58] starts

[29:00] within it starts within we heal these

[29:03] systems of

[29:04] extraction and oppression and just like

[29:09] this utter lack of respect for feminine

[29:12] gift we heal it through our own

[29:14] remembrance and prioritizing it in our

[29:17] own lives this is not something that the

[29:20] external is going to do for you and if

[29:23] you think that the external structures

[29:26] are going to change change voluntarily

[29:30] to even begin to understand this

[29:32] that like I'm sorry if like I'm sorry if

[29:37] your children are in the room and I just

[29:38] swore a few

[29:40] times but this changes when women

[29:46] recognize these things when we make

[29:49] these shifts in the ways that we use our

[29:52] own energy

[29:55] okay and that shift just to say it again

[29:58] the shift from the productivity mindset

[30:01] where I have to

[30:03] do just recognize there that your own

[30:07] inner masculine could be in a shadow

[30:10] orientation there right you're still

[30:13] running some old programs there so

[30:16] cultivate the depth of your feminine

[30:19] listen to the feminine you know trust

[30:23] your intuition to do that learn to do

[30:25] that um you can reach out to me if you

[30:27] want to work with me to do that uh but

[30:30] we're going to really cultivate your

[30:33] access to the truth of who you are to

[30:37] your Soul's knowing to those deep deep

[30:42] um Yin truths that that might even sound

[30:46] a little bonkers in the in the world

[30:49] because like the world is like you said

[30:51] what like this is very this is very

[30:53] different from what I'm used to hearing

[30:55] well yes yes I'm over here in my

[30:57] feminine you all haven't remembered that

[30:59] yet so you know welcome to the new era

[31:02] right so we are remembering and

[31:05] showing the world the way forward this

[31:10] is going to build new structures this is

[31:12] going to create more Unity this is like

[31:17] the you know heart-based living Etc and

[31:21] final

[31:22] thought when we change this in our own

[31:26] businesses in the ways that that we work

[31:30] we are being given information from

[31:34] creation about what to do next so we're

[31:37] going into this Yin Place into this deep

[31:41] space of Creation The Feminine is

[31:44] creation y'all this is what we're doing

[31:46] so we go into this deep space of

[31:50] creation and then we get the do this

[31:54] next and then that inner masculine that

[31:58] that wants to help that wants to take

[32:01] action that wants to like put something

[32:03] into the world it can get to work

[32:07] on the vision that we've received from

[32:11] creation

[32:13] itself that

[32:15] is that is

[32:17] effective it is not the same energetic

[32:22] as

[32:24] productivity productivity is cut off

[32:27] from this deep feminine creational

[32:32] space so go to the feminine first

[32:37] feminine

[32:38] first repattern your life

[32:42] repattern the way

[32:45] you relate to these inner feminine inner

[32:49] masculine archetypes relate to um your

[32:52] own feminine energy right and then

[32:56] become

[32:59] creational and I have just given you a

[33:04] very very big tip I'm telling you a very

[33:10] big tip and then what we begin to

[33:14] access in those creational spaces I mean

[33:18] that is the stuff that changes worlds

[33:21] right that's where we're going in my

[33:23] energy events you can subscribe at sarap

[33:26] poet.com um to get updates on the energy

[33:29] events and then um every once in a while

[33:32] once a quarter or so uh we open up a

[33:36] group process around these teachings

[33:39] that have come through me in those

[33:41] creational spaces um you know these

[33:44] downloads these curricula for really

[33:48] activating this information within you

[33:51] and I believe that resource is going to

[33:55] be next which is all about the innate

[33:58] feminine resources our own connection

[34:02] with Source building our light body in

[34:04] connection with the Earth and source and

[34:08] um doing all of that as the basis for

[34:12] our uh our abundance and our Earthly

[34:15] resources as well so please subscribe at

[34:18] sarap poet.com I will be back soon with

[34:22] another episode if this has touched you

[34:25] please share it with a friend please

[34:27] forward this on and spread the word for

[34:30] more women in This Global Awakening so

[34:35] much love see you next time bye

Frequently Asked Questions

Rest is recovery from exhaustion, but feminine energy is something deeper: a well of wisdom, creativity, and the capacity to sense what wants to emerge. Rest helps you recuperate; feminine wisdom teaches you how to work differently so you don't burn out in the first place.
When women first encounter the concept of feminine energy while burned out from masculine-coded productivity culture, the logical response is to use the feminine as an antidote—as permission to stop grinding. But the feminine is generative, not just recuperative; it's meant to transform how you work, not just give you permission to pause.
Women absorb cultural messaging that success requires constant outward action, optimization, and completion-focused effort—the 'penetrative' masculine energy. When deployed without access to feminine wisdom, this inner masculine becomes relentless and self-abandoning, leading to burnout because it ignores the body's rhythms and genuine needs.
No. The goal is integration—allowing feminine wisdom to inform how masculine energy is used. A healthy inner masculine in service to deep creative wisdom moves very differently than one running on habit and cultural conditioning. Both energies are necessary; the feminine tells the masculine *how* and *why* to act.
While Poet doesn't enumerate all eight in this episode, she references them as capacities like listening, holding space, sensing what's needed, creating from stillness, and moving with rhythm. These are resources women can identify and amplify to shift from productivity-driven to creativity-driven living.
Begin by noticing how your inner masculine is deployed—is it running on fumes and habit, or in service to deep wisdom? Then practice accessing feminine resources: listen before you act, sense what wants to emerge rather than forcing outcomes, and make choices from creativity rather than obligation.
