Liberate Yourself

Cristina Dam is a transformational guide, coach, hypnotherapist, entrepreneur and author of Liberate Yourself!: How to Accept Your Past, Let Go of Judgment, and Live the Life of Your Dreams. She describes her work of nearly two decades as helping people reconnect with themselves and move through change.

Her private work includes life and transformation coaching, hypnotherapy and belief work, and life and business strategy for entrepreneurs and people at a crossroads. Clients come when they are navigating a transition, shifting a pattern that keeps repeating, making a decision they can trust, or moving an idea into action. Sessions are held remotely by Zoom or phone.

Cristina holds two Master's degrees, in educational foundations and psychology. She combines them with training as an Energy Healer, Channel, NLP Trainer, Hypnotherapist and Addiction Treatment Specialist. She has created a program to help parolees return to society and founded a substance abuse prevention program for inner city youth. She also started the travel and social networking company Xplorer and the non-profit Motivate Humanity.

She speaks openly about her own losses and rebuilding. She writes of a business shuttered during the pandemic, a betrayal by a partner, a home lost to arson and the death of her father. She says she rebuilt through fitness, yoga and spiritual devotion, and she brings that lived experience together with practical tools and thoughtful questions.

Cristina hosts The Pivot Show, a podcast of conversations about the turning points that change the direction of our lives. She also gives keynotes and workshops on change, reinvention and self-trust. She founded Liberate Emporium, a spiritual store and center in Los Feliz, Los Angeles.
