The Single Best Entry Point

Start with the 25-track compilation Electronic Music Of The Future (Vol.01), released in June 2026. Dre Guazzelli's catalogue is almost entirely singles and remixes rather than full-length albums, so there is no cohesive album to begin with. This compilation is the broadest single overview of his taste and the closest thing to a front door. Play it start to finish once, without skipping, before you form an opinion.

Dre Guazzelli is a DJ, producer and music healer from São Paulo who has worked since 2004. Deep House is the sound that defines him, and the compilation shows that groove-first foundation across a long run of tracks.

The Next Three Places to Go

The remixes. "Bateu (Dre Guazzelli & João Faria Remix)" from December 2024 and "Água Salgada (Dre Guazzelli Remix)" from January 2025 show how he reworks other artists' material for a dancefloor. Remixing is central to how he works, and the credits confirm he collaborates: João Faria on "Bateu" and WITZ on the August 2026 "Zé Do Caroço (Dre Guazzelli & WITZ Remix)."

The producer tracks named in his bio. "Várias Queixas," "O Amor é o Segredo" and "It's All About" are the tracks his bio points to as showing his production work. They are the closest thing to an official "this is me as a producer" list.

The quieter singles. "Silence" (June 2026), "Dream" (November 2025) and "Blessed" (April 2025) have titles that suggest a more reflective mood. Treat that as a hypothesis and check it by ear, since the titles are the only evidence.

What to Expect on a First Encounter

Expect Deep House: steady, groove-led, built to hold a room rather than detonate it with drops. His bio describes the style as a mix of audacity, sensibility and versatility. Expect singles instead of an album arc, so there is no narrative to follow from track one to the end.

The recorded material is also only part of the picture. He does not follow a set list. He brings a large personal collection, much of it bought or given to him, and decides in the moment. In his words on his website: "The energy of the moment makes me always do something different." A studio track is a snapshot of one side of a practice that lives in the room.

Common Beginner Misunderstandings

Assuming a spiritual lineage. He is listed as a yoga teacher and describes himself as a music healer, but no teacher, guru or formal tradition is named anywhere in his public description. The framing is secular and dancefloor-rooted, not devotional. Don't expect chant, mantra or Sanskrit-based material.

Assuming meditation music. No track is officially designated for meditation or ceremony. "Silence" and "Dream" are plausible candidates for a quiet practice, but Deep House grooves can feel more driving than a typical savasana track. Test before you commit.

Expecting a predictable artist. Because his sets respond to the room, a festival set, a wedding and a yoga session will feel different. His stages have included Tomorrowland in Belgium and Brazil, Burning Man, Formula 1 events in Monaco and Brazil, and Ibiza. The approach stays the same while the settings vary widely.

Reading the themes as doctrine. His stated values are that love heals, that the ego leads nowhere, and that sharing and multiplying is healthier than just adding up. These read as a personal ethic, not a teaching system.

When This Work Lands Hardest

It lands hardest when you want music with a human, in-the-moment quality instead of a fixed program: a movement practice, a gathering, a long drive, a work session where you want momentum without aggression. It suits people comfortable with variability from one night to the next. It lands less well if you want high-BPM peak-time techno, hard drops, a structured curriculum, or devotional material.

A One-Week Starter Plan

Day 1: Play Electronic Music Of The Future (Vol.01) in full. Note two or three tracks that grab you.

Day 2: Listen to "Bateu (Dre Guazzelli & João Faria Remix)" and "Água Salgada (Dre Guazzelli Remix)." Ask what he adds to the source material.

Day 3: Play "Várias Queixas," "O Amor é o Segredo" and "It's All About" back to back.

Day 4: Try "Silence," "Dream" and "Blessed" during a quiet task or gentle movement. Judge whether the mood matches the titles.

Day 5: Hear the newest work: "Zé Do Caroço (Dre Guazzelli & WITZ Remix)" and "Titãns" (October 2026), plus "Crazy" and "All In" from earlier in 2026.

Day 6: Visit dreguazzelli.com and read his own account of his sets and projects. Check the YouTube channel for video, keeping in mind that the yoga sets are unscripted and may not be documented there.

Day 7: Re-listen to the compilation and compare it with Day 1. Decide which side you want more of: the dancefloor remixes, the producer tracks, or the reflective singles. No upcoming events are currently listed, so check his website and INNER, his events and brand activation company, if you want to catch him live.
