Born I, a meditation teacher and hip-hop artist from the Washington DC area, brings together guided meditation, crystal bowl soundbath, and lo-fi hip-hop in a two-hour evening session at Spirit Rock's Great Hall. The session weaves lyricism with contemplative sound, creating space for practitioners to meet themselves with kindness. Attendees may bring a picnic blanket and sit outside before or after the performance. Gates open two hours early. No experience necessary. This is part of Spirit Rock's annual Sacred Sounds concert series, which features artists working at the intersection of spiritual practice and contemporary music forms.
