Mirabai Moon leads Mystical Kirtan, a practice of devotional chant that offers what she describes as a passionate embrace of the Divine Essence right here, right now, in your embodied, human form, just as you are.
She tours across North America and internationally, sharing chant music and sound healing in yoga studios, healing centers, and festivals. Her offerings guide participants into experiences of profound healing and unconditional love through Bhakti Yoga practices. She also teaches harmonium workshops.
Her recordings include mantras and chants such as Gayatri Mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, Reggae Radhe Shyam, Jai Ma Ananda Mayi and Govinda. Five songs she recorded with the harmony singers The Levins, among them Twameva Mata, Ong Namo Gurudev Namo, Ya Devi and Hava Nashira from the Bridge to Where You Are CD, have been gathered into a collection. She has also made new chants with GuruGanesha, joined by artists including percussionist Karttikeya Arul and Steve Gorn.
Gary Goldberg of WRPI's In The Spirit Radio calls her "a Kirtan soul angel who uplifts the Spirit," adding that "her voice is exquisitely tuned and her warmth fills your heart." James Braymiller of The Sloppy Bhakti describes her voice as "powerful, soft, melodic, and mindfully caring."
