Jodi McLean

Jodi McLean is a sound healer, yoga teacher and meditation teacher based in Marin County, California. She has spent years turning her love of sound into spaces where people feel seen, held and empowered to find harmony together.

Jodi grew up in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, a landscape she says settled her whole nervous system and taught her there is always more possibility than she imagined. That openness is what she now helps others find through sound. She brings more than 20 years of yoga and meditation practice and six years of working closely with the frequencies of crystal alchemy bowls. Yoga and meditation remain part of her daily practice, and she describes them as the path many of her students take on their way to sound healing.

She leads sound bath events across the Bay Area and teaches immersive three-day sound healing trainings. These cover the science behind sound meditation, basic music theory and the confidence to facilitate a sound bath. She says she had no musical training when she began, and she welcomes students with none. She also runs a shop of curated Crystal Tones® alchemy singing bowls at the base of Mount Tamalpais. The bowls are sourced from Crystal Tones® World in Salt Lake City. Students describe her as generous with her instruments and her knowledge, and as someone who holds a space where people feel confident to learn.

Her mission is to use sound, frequency and vibration to guide others toward the joy and ease of living in true alignment with themselves. Away from sessions, she can be found hiking with her cattle dog June, golfing, dancing to bluegrass and traveling with her partner.
