Alex Tacket

Alex Tacket is a business coach, retreat leader and the founder of The Business Witch, based in Los Angeles. Alex began in California state politics, where long hours and overcommitting left them burnt out. They left to teach yoga and Pilates and launched Namaste As Fuck, a sweatshop-free yoga apparel and retreats company. They later worked as an intuitive healer in LA.

Alex says they have burned out in many ways, and that this shaped their work. They draw on yoga, somatics, intuitive healing and energy work, along with the experience of building three businesses from the ground up. They work with womxn founders, creators and leaders on boundaries, pricing and building businesses and lives around their own desires. Their approach is to name the desire first and build a bespoke container around it, rather than fit a client into a template.

Alex led their first retreat in 2017, a 19-person glamping campout in Joshua Tree, California. They have since led over a dozen retreats around the world, from slumber parties to eco-chic resorts to corporate events. They also teach other teachers, healers and coaches how to lead retreats that are practical and sustainable, and they treat their own mistakes as lessons to pass on.
