Storylands Sessions

An evening of curated performances featuring Highland and Moray-based musicians, poets, and storytellers. Hamish Napier, the festival's Musician-in-Residence, and Aila Schafer, a celebrated curator and storyteller, bring together singers, fiddlers, and verse-keepers for an intimate gathering inspired by vintage variety concerts and contemporary open-mic traditions. The format prioritizes connection and accessibility, with each artist offering five minutes to share their work. The atmosphere is deliberately unhurried and welcoming, creating space for both seasoned performers and those willing to try something new.
