tantraElements of Desire: An Erotic Lab for Queer Men
Held at Esalen Institute on the Big Sur coast, this four-day workshop examines sexuality as a lens for understanding presence, freedom, and connection. Led by AASECT-certified sexuality counselor Finn Deerhart, the program gathers queer men, cis and trans, to explore desire through embodied practice rather than theory. The work honors the lived experience of queer male bodies, acknowledging both their resourcefulness and the accumulated weight they carry. Through guided somatic rituals, communal reflection, and invited experimentation with touch and expression, participants examine how shame, culture, and trauma shape sexuality, and what becomes possible when approached with honesty rather than performance. The workshop treats sexuality as medicine, mischief, and art, grounded in consent and individual sovereignty. All activities remain optional. No sexual acts are instructed or included.
