Beschreibung

Nature-Based Parts Work Group Course is a live online healing workshop for people who want a kinder, more coherent relationship with the different voices inside them. Led by meditation teacher and inner-work guide Julia Frodahl, it teaches her signature form of parts work, a close cousin of Internal Family Systems that draws on nature-based imagery and Jungian depth psychology. It runs over six weekly Zoom sessions and suits anyone who wants to work with a harsh inner critic, inner conflict or self-sabotage.

The approach gathers inner child work, self-talk, self-love, reparenting and the unpicking of limiting beliefs into one framework. Julia describes the parts as including nature-based ones, along with more aspirational components meant to support a flourishing life. The aim is a harmonious relationship with all the parts of yourself, so that the inner dialogue becomes encouraging, wise and self-loving.

What to Expect

The group meets for six Sunday sessions on Zoom, from 9 to 10:30 am Pacific time. The first session introduces the framework, with an opening exercise and group discussion. The middle sessions go deeper into the concepts, pairing teaching with experiential practice. The sixth is given to closing teaching, integration and a final discussion.

Between calls, each week brings specific exercises meant to be practiced, not only understood, so the teachings land in lived experience. The material arrives in a mix of live, written, audio and video teachings, and there is plenty of room for group discussion. Every call is recorded, so a missed session can be watched later.

Participants are also added to a private community network, where they can share thoughts, insights and challenges with classmates as the course unfolds. Past participants often describe these communities as kind, safe and supportive. The course may suit you if you are gentle with others but hard on yourself, if you know something intellectually yet struggle to bring your feelings and actions along, or if you want to tell a wise, intuitive voice from one that speaks out of an old wound. Creative people tend to enjoy the imaginative quality of the work, though you do not need to think of yourself as creative.

About Julia Frodahl

Julia Frodahl is a meditation teacher and inner-work guide who offers what she calls a garden of teachings for people drawn to deep inner work that restores self-love, presence and belonging, for the individual and the collective. She describes her work as slow and honest, work that heals at the roots and changes how a person thinks, feels and lives.

She did not arrive at this path as a planned career. She came looking for her own way out of pain and for an understanding of the world. She describes a childhood marked by aggressive cancer treatment and an unsafe home, where nature and imagination gave her a sense of belonging. As a young adult she studied philosophy, spent time in Buddhist circles, taught herself to write music and lived an artist's life. After a loss that upended that life, she sat with her emptiness in the desert and studied psychology. The tools in this course are the foundation of her private inner work practice.
